Description:
As Duvrax departed his role as a student within the Iridonian Sith Academy, it wasn't long before he was picked up as an apprentice to Lady Vesperia. With his new rank meant that he would be tasked with handling missions on his own that either his master or the Sith leaders dictated. Allowed to choose the ship he'd pilot, the Zabrak thought long and hard on the decision. While he could have piloted a starfighter or a smaller freighter, Duvrax wanted something that could represent the person he was and the path he approached. Along with wanting to him in command of a crew of his own, it was recommended that Duvrax select the Fury-class Imperial Interceptor.
A very capable ship that withheld the test of time for the Sith, its usage finding new life within the Blackguard, it was already a strong ship in terms of combat with plenty of speed and defense to stand against most ships. While most of what he saw fit the bill, Duvrax requested modifications to be made to better accommodate him and the possible missions he'd go on. The first, and simplest, request was for heavier armor and improved shields so to better handle punishment while in a fight.
Next came the obvious change: armament. Though the weapons the ship carried were strong, the Zabrak wanted more. As such, the high powered laser cannons that rested on starboard and port sides of the ship were replaced with a pair of dual turbolaser turrets, giving it some offensive power against capital ships. Next, a pair of twin medium laser cannons were added to the wingtips while two heavy laser cannons rested just below the cockpit. Finally, a pair of variable ordinance warhead launchers were installed on the dorsal side of the craft, just behind the cockpit that was capable of launching a few different types of ordinance, most commonly proton torpedoes and concussions missiles.
To accommodate the heavier armor and additional weaponry, modifications were made to the engines and maneuvering thrusters to keep it just as fast as it used to be while increasing its agility. The room for additional passengers or troops remained the same, capable of carrying 15 additional people aside from his crew. With this new layout out that stood true to the Zabrak's style of combat, the ship was named the Tûaradi, which meant ruination in High Sith.
