Description:
Project Starbird was a Corellian Coalition initiative to create a new line of ships based upon the Starhawk-class Battleship but smaller. The Starbird-class Battleship was the result of this time and effort. In terms of strength, the Starbird takes more after the Starhawk Mark II, with an impressive list of weapons. In terms of defence, it is nothing outside of the ordinary. Something attributed to the vessels shortened length, which necessitated an adjustment in layout and systems. The Starbird can support 7,200 soldiers and 96 Starfighters thanks to the increased hangar bay space created in the ship's prow that was connected through the vessels bow to the hangar bays in the side of the Starbird.
