The ancient fortress had once a name, a name lost to the history that it once served. Perhaps, long ago, its name was given to by a Sith Lord or a gathering of them. Perhaps it served as fortress for the domain of a Sith, perhaps it was an academy, or perhaps it was left unfinished. Whatever the case, when the Resurgent Sith Conclave came to occupy it, the Hierarch gave it its new name, the Fanged Acropolis, seeing its immense spires reaching for the sky as if two jagged teeth. The Fanged Acropolis lied just north of the Valley of Golg, an ancient burial site for the Kings of the Old Sith, those that came before the Exiles and after. Many numerous rules, named and unnamed, laid within its Valley. The Acropolis, it seemed, also sat upon an ancient mausoleum of tunnels and caverns that stretched beneath its structure. Early teams, sent below, found not only Sithspawn and feral creatures, but also tombs of Sith, dating to primeval times within the history of their kind and forefathers. Its protection came from the dormant volcano that it rested within, ensuring the harsh windows of Korriban did it erode it too much. Several bridges stretched from it and, from a distance, it almost did look like an ancient city. Here, the Conclave would make its home and thus its capital.

The twin fanged towers, which lent this fortress its name, skyrocketed before Lady Vesperia and her apprentice Karnac as they made their descent. Smoothly, the Amaranth made its landing on an empty pad, and with swift, overcalculated movements, the woman lowered the boarding ramp and powered down the ship. The last toggle flipped, and she turned over to Duvrax with that perpetual mischief painted over her expression."Let's have some fun, shall we?" Vesperia turned on a heel and stomped her way towards the boarding ramp with Duvrax in tow. Like a belt, she kept her lightwhip wrapped around her hips, the tails clinking faintly with the swish of her hips in every step. As the two exited the ship, the woman expected, as demanded, to find and be greeted by Darth Malvus personally.

As the two exited the ship, the woman expected, as demanded, to find and be greeted by Darth Malvus personally. When the pair disembarked, they found more than just Darth Malvus awaiting them. Several masked Sith warriors stood on either side of a path that led to the Heirarch who awaited Vesperia, and her apprentice, tens of feet away. Sure, she demanded to see him, but Malvus would make his visitor come to him. Beside him was his apprentice, Darth Sirona , who was present for this demanded audience. For now, the Heirarch watched as the two disembarked and made their way towards where he stood.
Once within speaking range, Malvus spoke. There was much to do and he had little time for an extended audience.Have you come to speak on behalf of my former apprentice, Vallius Savage, or are you here of your own will, Lady Vesperia? As the former Jen'ari, Malvus knew of her before. She had been an instructor at the Iridonian Academy for the Blackguard Reborn, the former capital of the Imperium. A few times before, the two had met, but solely due to Blackguard business such as students with great potential and students that were lagging behind that needed better motivation or to disappear for their lack of determination.

Darth Sirona stood dutifully at the side, though half a step behind, her master. She had been summoned from her work helping to restore the Archives, and had absentmindedly brought a book with her. She now clutched it to her chest. Her serious face broke into a small smile as she saw Duvrax following their guest. Another person from her days training with Gavin. It was good to see him and note that he had also found a master. But soon her focus was drawn back to the woman and her master.

Duvrax watched as the fortress appeared and grew before them. Even from their distance, he could feel the power that eminated from it. Was it the building from being caught up in the Dark-Side or was it from those within? The answer was nowhere to be found, though it mattered little. The swelling power excited him as he was eager to see what became of this meeting. To join and take part of the glory that coukd be had or become enraptured in a fight to which he would bring others to their knees, whatever course the Force had for them, he was ready.
When the ship touched down, Duvrax took a deep breath as he took in the moment. Looking to his master as she spoke, he gave a confident nod. "Of course, Master. I hope they pray the Dark-Side grants them proper answers, lest the become victim to our fury."
Departing the ship, Duvrax took note of where Malvus stood. Once the Jen'ari of the Blackguard, he had now come to this world after abandoning his title and responsibilities to establish a new order. And when seeking an audience, the Zabrak found it odd that he'd stand so far and not greet them proper. Perhaps what he had learned of the Sith was but deciet and lies. Yet, he would humor an explaination. After all, his training with Gavin proved not all was as it seemed.
Upon reaching the man, Duvrax noticed Nidana standing with him. The rumors he heard were true and she had found master in the man. Giving her a slight nod, he stopped behind, Vesperia, his towering frame almost like a giant against her. He stood ready for what might come to pass, his weathered black crossguard on his belt and his presence stronger than ever, his potential in the Force growing more each day.

The Darkside was a fickle Master, something Duvrax would learn in due time. The other piece he would learn was that they weren't exactly here for answers.
The moment that Lady Vesperia was close enough to the two, she stopped. Crossing her arms over her chest, the woman shifted her weight onto one foot, cocking her hip, and tilted her head curiously towards him in the process. Despite his question, she allowed a brief pause for just the right amount of irritable silence to pass before speaking.
"I fly all this way to see you, and you still make a lady walk all this way just to be graced by your presence?" she asked, feigning a hurt expression with a soft pout while seemingly disregarding Malvus's own question. "I'll give you some credit for the grand entrance, though. Nothing screams a queen's greeting like a file of guards to line my passageway. The only things you were missing were the red carpet and fanfare."
Her wounded expression swiftly shifted, a sly smile gracing her lips. However, Vesperia's gaze then turned to his young apprentice, who stood just slightly behind him. She knew well that Sirona had trained alongside Duvrax in that dog's class. However, this young Echani was a familiar face to all the masters within the Iridonia Academy for one glaring reason. It appeared that her presence made Vesperia less than pleased, at that, even more so when paired with Malvus's question.
"My motives to come say hello is a silly concern of yours, don't you think? Especially when you have the old Sith'ari's daughter by your side," she challenged with a playful smirk. "For what it's worth, though," she continued in smooth, honeyed tones, extending out her hands to either side of her in a blanket gesture, "I know you're not a complete fool. If I came here on behalf of any Savage, you would know that it would be with a fleet and firepower. They don't have a subtle horn on their heads. If they did, I think you'd know to show more concern about their family than with me."
Again, Vesperia glowered at the girl, but it was only for a brief second until that scowl turned into the flicker of a wicked grin. In truth, she didn't care about Sirona's allegiance and had no stake in this game. However, Vesperia was no fool. Here, Sirona's presence was a true testament to how fractured the Savage family had become, something Malvus desired to show off at every opportunity. Sirona's mere existence here may have been as a trophy for Malvus, but it opened up a worthy rebuttal for her. Vesperia rather enjoyed milking these curious turns of events for her own benefit when she could.
The dark-haired woman then took a step back and shot her gaze upwards, looking over the whole of what she could see of the fortress. She raised an eyebrow inquisitively and followed it up with a thoughtful hum. Even if it was just for a dramatic show to give additional pause, further wasting Malvus's valuable time, Vesperia desired to drive home her point that she wasn't here on Vallius or Viox's behalf. Still, whether she was friend or foe remained to be seen.
With a seemingly impressed nod of her head, she glanced back over Malvus to finally address him and his question with a bit more substance.
"I came here to see if the rumors of your treachery were true. It would appear, on the surface, that they are," the Lady cooed, "yet they sorely lack in detail. Perhaps you can arrange a babysitter and humor me with a personal audience inside?"

Malvus kept his silence as Vesperia spoke of her piece. She was right about one thing. If she had come on behalf of any Savage, she would have brought a war fleet. However, given the recent fractures, the Sith Lord expected the Sith'ari to focus more internally, ensuring that holes were plugged and their borders were shored up in order to prevent further breakaways. To send a fleet far away would be a risky venture, given the unknown strength that Malvus could potentially hold within his grasp.
The Sith took notice of his visitor's gaze causing him to glance at Sirona. Vesperia seemed intrigued by his apprentice's presence here. Of course, there was a main reason why. For now, the Heirarch did not care much to inquire about it. Instead, he refocused his attention on Vesperia and her... apprentice. Only reason why she had come with someone else. There had been word of her taking a male apprentice, prior to his departure, so this must have been the said individual.
Malvus remained rooted though at the request by Vesperia. He did not even seem willing to move.
I believe it is best that we speak out here, Lady Vesperia. After all, I need to determine, first and foremost, why you are here. I must determine a friend from a foe.
The Sith had little patience for games.
So since you have not come at the behest of a Savage, then I will repeat my question once more to you. Why have you come seeking me, Lady Vesperia? I doubt its to confirm rumors of my treachery, highly doubtful of merely saying hello... but I suspect its more of a curiosity.
Malvus states with his eyebrow raised.
You are curious, that much is clear. So I will indulge you. Simply ask your questions and answers will be given.

Sirona felt the gaze from the woman. She had only heard rumors of her during her time at the Academy, but it seemed the woman knew more about her. She drew the book tighter across her chest. The young Echani resented her betrayal of her father being thrown back in her face. But it was a choice she had made and one she would have to get used to living with. From that point on, her eyes never left Lady Vesperia.

Duvrax stood one silence as his master spoke. There had been more than enough rumors of the woman’s nature but each of them only scratched the surface. His time in training had allowed him to bear witness to the being that was Vesperia. It was rather amusing, to say the least. While he had patience, it could be held for only so long before he’d be direct and to the point. His master, however, was more than willing to play the long game with her antics, always seeking to see where the limits of another’s patience existed and pushed it beyond. She didn’t back down to anyone and would continue her facades unless she was truly irked by something. It was then, he knew, one truly needed to be afraid.
Her words and games with Malvus as she drew out the conversation made him smirk. It was fun watching her work. And as so long as he was to let her lead, he could stand back and enjoy the show. Training with her was quite the challenge, one he happily accepted. The biggest part in which he ever would fight her is when it came to proving the worth of Gavin’s training. Otherwise, they made quite the pair.
He also took note of the implications regarding Nidana. Even he had to admit the appearance it gave. Whether it was true or coincidence had yet to be seen, but sensing his old peer’s uneasiness, it seemed Vesperia had hit a nerve.

The ship uncloaked in orbit with a flicker. With a single living being on board. There were no codes or messages sent ahead, the Zabrak on board knew that his presence would be sensed. The craft landed with the hiss of the steam released from the landing gear exhausts. The ramp was lowered and Vallius walked down the ship, cloaked in a dark mantle. The yellow eyes shone in the darkness, his face obscured by the shadows shed by the raised hood. He walked as he always did, sure-footed, nimble, firmly; the double-bladed lightsaber dangling from the belt.

The arrival of Vesperia made Malvus aware that others would certainly come, seeking him. He had long been the Jen'ari of the Blackguard and his departure would certainly send ripples through the fabric of its ranks. When Vallius disembarked from his craft, he would find four masked Sith Warriors, flanking an individual known as Darth Grahl. He was an Iktotchi and served as the Voice of the Heirarch. Malvus had sensed the arrival of Vallius upon his arrival to the system of Korriban, so the Voice was sent to meet with Savage.
However, only a few words were said as Vallius passed, unimpeded. There was little to say after all.=Grahl= The Heirarch awaits you in the Archives.

Lady Vesperia occasionally glanced over at the little one who stood behind Malvus. Clearly, the woman had managed to get the little bookworm's attention out of her tome and into the present. If looks could kill, Vesperia may have gotten a few scratches from that glare. The woman's lips twitched into a faint, wicked smile.
"Take a holopic, sweetheart. It'll last longer."
Vesperia huffed a dark laugh as she placed her hands on her hips. Now, her steely blue gaze locked onto Malvus as though neither Sirona, Duvrax, nor any of the warriors were present. She had attempted civility -- or at least her type of civility -- and it appeared that he wasn't willing to play ball. A pity.
"So serious all the time," she patronized like a mother scolding her young. "Surely, you aren't afraid of one woman -- a woman so weak in your eyes that you wouldn't dare include her in your plans in building a new and glorious order, while the Savage family wreaked havoc on the Blackguard from their in-fighting? During all my years of servitude to the Sith, I've clearly been no one to you, to the Sith'ari, to the very Headmaster of the Academy. Why only now show such concern about me? Why only now do you treat me like a threat?"
Threat -- she spat the word with an empathic scowl. There was not only an animated challenge in her voice but also a strange, stinging pain she believably feigned in her tones while she painted her past few agonizing years within the Academy. In the blink of an eye, though, that wicked smile returned to her lips. A calculative gaze locked onto Malvus. This was but a game to her, even if she posed a genuine question before the old Jen'ari, one she wanted to be answered.
Ah, but to demand meant to give, yes? And thus, Vesperia would play by Malvus's rules and answer his questions as well.
"For now, I'm neither friend nor foe, but I can be the potential for either. The tides are shifting for the Sith, and I plan to ensure I'm on the winning side. I'm giving you the benefit of the first move, Malvus. I advise you not to squander it."
Vesperia spoke slowly, deliberately, with a toying fluctuation in her warning. She then arched an eyebrow as she looked over Malvus with a predatory once-over. However, if he could set aside her demeanor and instead pick apart her words at face value, it was more than evident to see the truth of the Lady's views and the very reason she stood before him. The Sith were deteriorating, and she was left in limbo. She sought to capitalize on the misfortune.
"Now, all I want is a little private chat to understand what you've been doing all this time since you abandoned me and so many others. It's the least you owe me for keeping me from all the fun."

The Sith visibly frowns at the remarks of Vesperia. His head shaking slightly, a soft tsk coming from beneath his lips.
If I viewed you as a threat, would you be standing?
Rather suddenly, the crystal within his chest pulses within the Force, reacting instinctively. The crystal had a mind of its own, at times, and it clearly wanted to be heard by those around it. Malvus looks at Vesperia, not even glancing for a second away from her.
You know what I am capable of. And yet, you stand without being barred or forced to kneel.
The Sith could sense the desire within Vesperia to advance herself. She had long been at the Iridonian Academy for... a number of years. Among the many faceless and nameless tutors that drilled the warriors and sorcerers of the Imperium's troops. The Jen'ari had his influences, back then, and ensured that capable teachers were still placed within the ranks of the academy, otherwise it would be a place of decadence and rot. His attentiveness to the former apprenticeship of Luxeria and the present one of Sirona showed his desire for the next generation to learn well and be powerful. There was nothing to fear from a capable apprentice. It only strengthened the future.
The Heirarch remains quiet as Vesperia seems persistent in the private audience with him. The Sith clicks his teeth beneath his lips.
I will allow it then. You seem rather persistent on the audience.
He turns and heads into the Acropolis, bringing his small guard and Sirona with him.

For a moment, Vesperia had cocked her head curiously as Malvus spoke. His crystal heart let out a scream of power within the Force, causing the woman to shudder. While others may have gazed upon the man with a greater sense of fear and reverence, however, the woman who stood before him now simply smiled. A longing, hungry look overwhelmed her eyes, and within that wicked grin, Vesperia brushed her tongue over her lips.
"Oh, how I'd love to see you try..."
Vesperia's challenge would have fallen on deaf ears, however, as she spoke quietly to herself. Malvus had already turned, guiding the four deeper into this fortress. She turned slightly to glance at Duvrax over her shoulder, and with a jerk of her chin, she issued her silent command that he would follow her.
Vesperia's first footstep hit the ground, and she hummed in satisfaction. For a man who could 'make her kneel,' she had managed to obtain what she desired without much incident. Persistence, it seemed, was key, and she would be a fool to push her fun any further. Thus, she faithfully followed Malvus with confident strides, quickly catching up to walk by his side until they had reached his destination.

Silently the Manta-class Infiltrator approached the surface of Korriban, as the pilot was looking briefly towards the wayfinder, which had lead them to this location. Whether technology or actual magic had lead them the way was hard to tell, but in the end they didn't care. All what counted was, that they executed this mission in the favor of the Prophet. Time passed as the pilot opened up the shuttle ramp and went outside, clothed in dark robes. Following behind them was a silver mechnochair, moving spiderlike with it's projector plattform on top of it after the Dominion cultist, who hailed the present guardsmen. Any somewhat expierienced force user would be able to smell the stenches of Mechu-Deru directly on it, given that its movements were inconsistent, sometimes more fluent than usual for a chair model like this, sometimes malfunctioning before the chair would then continiue its silent walk. From the outside it didn't look too threatening. Yet that barely meant anything, when the dark side dwelled within a machine...
"Iä Taral!", the messenger greeted the present guardsmen in a mixture of Sith dialect and something foreign, which should indicate that they greeted the guardians of this place, "He, who sees many pathways of the Brotherhood of Dac sends your Heirarch this vessel for the matters of diplomacy. I recieved no other details from our divine herald other that he remembers with whom past bargains were struck and that I should remain by the ship. This is all your Heirarch should be aware off before recieving this gift." While the chair moved forward, waiting like a sentient being to be escorted, the pilot solely saluted, remaining near their shuttle. With whatever mission he was tasked, the Prophet seemed to enjoy it to even keep it as a mystery for even his own men.

Seeing as the Orzi still weren't the brightest, and were still being developed into the proper warrior, the Heirarch had to rely on other guards, such as droids and trained conscripts, to do the work. The two guards that were present at the landing pad, where the Infiltrator landed, looked curiously at the odd technobeast, something they weren't fully away of. After the messenger spoke, one keys his helmet. There was some muffled conversation and the nod of his head while the other guard just kept looking at the machine.
When the conversation was over, the guard went back to his posture. Some moments later, a pair of Sith Warriors approached the construct. They knew they didn't need to lead it. Only needed to motion to the technobeast with the Force and the construct would follow. Soon enough, the mechu-deru abomination was directed away and into the Fanged Acropolis.

As the mechno chair proceeded into the interior of the fortress, it would eventually reach it's destination. As the moment was come, the holo projector showed the holo image of none other than the Prophet himself, the apparation flickering here and there. Given the nature of the mechanical beast and the precautions of the Prophet, the channel was encrypted, giving Malvus a direct message channel between him and Dac. "So we meet again...", the calm, yet sinister voice of the Quarren Sorcerer could be heard, as he started the transmission, "It seems like my past analysis upon you was right. Potential you have indeed... the Dark Empire crumbles as the Sith'ari betray once more eachother... and yet it's decay also frees it from stagnation. Creation always comes with the prize of destruction. Sidious never understood this lesson... time will tell if the Butcher understands it as well. Perhaps your actions were destiny, as forseen by the Great Plan." Although solely the Prophet himself spoke in a booming voice, it nearly seemed as if there were other, more silent voices, which also spoke up like an echo. Otherworldly, different, yet manifested within him.

Kosrezic made her way from the Fanged Acropolis towards the landing pads, making herself ready for the new arrivals. Though Vesperia had mentioned that she was gathering those from the Blackguard, so she had heard, it wasn’t until now that the woman announced her arrival. Luckily, she had received word from Duvrax prior to their departure from Iridonia that they were on their way and those that would be coming. As such, she had spoke to her master on the matter and under Luxeria’s orders, the Twi’lek was to ensure that preparations were made and to gather a small welcoming group to aid the new arrivals.
And so she had done so. A small group of five including herself as well as a few soldiers stood ready for the coming ships, ready to answer questions and lead them all to their chambers and on a tour of the newly renovated building.

The X-70B Prototype landed effortlessly and gracefully, barely shaking its occupants within. The gentle jostle under their feet could have easily been mistaken for the ships' rumbling components. Soon, even those subsided to a deafening silence, though. They had reached their destination.
"Mosethe, you and your brothers on your own," Vesperia commanded sharply and coldly.
Brothers -- where some may have taken that as a sign of proud comradery, Vesperia meant it in a completely different light. Brothers -- those mundane, regular people on her crew. The Force had denied them its bountiful gifts. They were unworthy of anything more than a chance to get by in a life of servitude. They were mere pawns to bring glory to their lady, and thus to the Darkside.
Her tones shifting to a smooth, seducing velvet all too quickly, Vesperia then turned to her copilot, "Dravleo, be a dear and gather Kurpax. You two are with me, darlings."
With a wink and a coy smile, Vesperia quickly descended from the boarding ramp. Kurpax and Dravleo were quick to file behind her, flanking her on either side. Although the trio didn't precisely greet the young Twi'lek who was waiting for them on the boarding ramp, Kurpax, who she would have otherwise known as Lord Synik, gave her a simple nod in her direction while they passed.
The three departed into the Fanged Acropolis as the sky began dotted with grays and blacks, a small fleet of ships trailing behind the Amaranth. It would give the girl time to briefly meet with her old companions before having her hands full. It would be a lie, though, to say that Vesperia wasn't curious to see how Luxeria's little one would handle balancing truth and misinformation. Where her comrades may have known their purpose here and shared their excitement, the others did not...
If the lady was was lucky, a new delicious tension was about to suddenly burst, or the girl would make her job more manageable when the meeting was done—a win-win scenario.

As Vesperia decended the ramp, Kosrezic was already giving orders to the others, having them spread out to handle the sudden surge in visitors. When the woman passed, the Twi'lek simply nodded though said nothing else. She knew of the woman and her companions from her time at the academy. It was even a surprise when Duvrax became apprenticed to her. Time would tell if the Zabrak regretted that or ended up awkwardly enjoying it.
It wasn't long after that her old peers followed them. Moving up, she greeted tgem with a smile.
"It's been quite a bit. I hope all of you have been well. Welcome to Korriban and the Fanged Acropolis. I'm sure Duvrax has filled you all in?'
The brown-skinned Zabrak then stepped up with a nod.
"Yeah, he's filled us in. Still not entirely sure how I feel about it, but I'm here."
The female Togruta then spoke up as she looked to Krokaa.
"It's not the most pleasant feeling, no, but it was a choice we got to make. It was exhausting trying to figure out who to follow. Swear loyalty to Vallius when took over Iridonia or stay with Voix and the rest of the Blackguard. The academy as a whole has been chaos ever since."
The Falleen just shrugged.
"Seemed easy to me. Our studies had gotten bogged down due to that family drama. As such, our training falls behind and we stagnate. True, Malvus may have also turned away from the Blackguard, but he jyst left with those who were loyal and stayed out of everything. And by what Duvrax has told us and from what I see, this Resurgent Sith have gained a lot in a very short time. Leaving certainly doesn't weigh me down."
Kosrezic nodded with a smile.
"Glad to hear it. Once a few more land and disembark, I can show you all around the temple and your rooms."Turning her head skyward, she awaited the landing of Lerax-Syn and a few of the other ships before leading them inside.
