A Vaiken-class Dreadnought (center), with an escort of two Harrower-class Dreadnoughts, some generations prior to the Great Galactic War.
Ship Class: Star Frigate

Ship Length: 800 meters
Agility (A): 2
Defensive (D): 4
Offensive (O): 3
Speed (S): 2
Special Gear: 2 (Redundant Shield Generators, Troop Space)
Description:
The Vaiken-class Dreadnought is an early design of warship for the rebuilding navy of the resurgent Sith Empire. It is widely believed to be the prototype, or, more likely, a predecessor, to the future mainstay of the Empire's Navy, the Harrower-class Dreadnought. It is known that, before his death, the mastermind behind the war machine that would become the Imperial Military, Grand Moff Odile Vaiken, witnessed the creation of the first of the navy's dreadnaughts that would spearhead the future expansion and wars of the Sith.
The design faded into memory as the Harrower-class Dreadnought was produced and made to be the chosen vessel of the navy for both Sith and Imperial commanders. However, it was re-discovered by both the Blackguard Reborn and the later Resurgent Sith Conclave after the occupation of Dromund Kaas. The vessel looked similar to a Victory-class or Imperial Star Destroyer as it lacked the two prongs of the Harrower and had the inclosed, pointed prow, popularized by later Star Destroyers. As a result, the vessel was less of a carrier than the Harrower, but still had an important role as a powerful dreadnought and command ship. Additionally, the Vaiken-class was outfitted with stronger shielding, given its early role, as a vital warship. A necessity to ensure the ships survival as it lead the expansion and battles of the fledging Sith Empire that Vaiken served and helped create.
Its firepower, presently, is 26 double turbolaser batteries, 30 laser cannons, 20 ion cannons, 10 warhead launchers, and 4 tractor beam projectors. It could carry a complement of 48 starfighters and bombers as well as a troop space for 4,000 men for boarding and planetary operations.
