::I...uh...I believe he has. And I'm sure he is grateful for it, although he hasn't seemed to express it - unsurprisingly.::
Unsurprising indeed. Affirmed Vanna, bemused.
::If you don't mind me explaining my presence here...::
This is appreciated. While his involvement doesn't exactly complicate things immediately; it could certainly spell trouble after things have settled down. His fate, while out of my hands, is not very worrisome - types like Jashin have a tendency to survive, no matter the odds.
::I have a confession to make...::
I sense much guilt in you, Anneri. You must take solace in the knowledge that all things have fallen into place as the Force wills it. Even my own survival, and my own absence from these grave events. I would dare say that if you had been present, you would have simply been slaughtered with all the rest. This is no perception of your combat ability - but simply an observation of the enemy's sheer numbers. You have survived, and have been made to have a change of heart, here, now, for a reason. Search for this reason, ruminate upon it, so that you might realize the will of the Force.
::I'm sending you my contact information, as well as my comm codes. If ever the Dantooine Jedi have another emergency, and need an extra capable Jedi, you'll know where to find me.::
Go in peace, Zalor Anneri. We shall let you know if anything comes up in the future. Do watch Jashin: he has a part to play in this, though what that part may be, I could not begin to fathom.
With that, the tired looking Jedi Master inclined her head, the hologram slowly fading out of existence.

She laid on the grass beside her father's grave for hours unknown, telling him the extent of her life after his passing. So much had happened to her, she wondered if her father would've recognized her had he still been alive. She was hardly the same little girl that would cling to her father's side and listen to every word he said. The little girl who would run around the boring adult Jedi, giggling and laughing carefree while her parents watched over her and her twin brother. Even just the last five years had taken it's toll on her mischievous nature. Being separated from her friends and her little sister had been incredible difficult, even with the presence of her fiancée by her side, though even that had been stretched with them being separated for the last few months without even so much as a holomessage.
When would it end? When would she stop losing all the things she cared about? First her grandmother, then her father, then her twin brother, then her mother, then the first enclave on Endor, then her grandfather, then the second enclave on Endor, along with her friends, and now Dantooine. How many pieces of herself could she lose before there was nothing left? She had already lost so much from the amnesia. She had thought finding Zalor would be the beginning of a new chapter for her, but with the annihilation of her home planet, it seemed like she was cursed to keep losing everything that mattered to her.
She slowly rolled onto her side and curled up into a ball and began weeping, no longer able to suppress her feelings. There was just too much pain and sorrow...::Tanara - I know you can hear me. First of all, I found your bug and you should probably hide it somewhere more inconspicuous next time. Second of all, we have about ten minutes before liftoff to Naboo. Make your way back to the ship, if you could please. And...:: Zalor paused, feeling guilty for sounding so cold and uncaring to his grieving friend. With a lot more warmth, he added...::...I'm sorry about Dantooine. I can't imagine what you're going through right now, although I'd probably have a good idea if the First Order ever came in full force to Naboo. Now it's my job to make sure that doesn't happen.:: The sound of her friend's voice gently roused her awake. She had no idea how long she had spent crying, or how long she had been asleep. She didn't even remember falling asleep. It was time to leave the planet and return to Naboo. As she slowly gathered up the listening devices and stood up, she found that she actually felt a lot better than she had been since they arrived at Dantooine. She looked down at her father's grave and smiled. Even though he had been dead for nearly twelve years, he was still taking her pain away as only a father could. "Thanks for the talk Daddy. I promise you, I'll do what I can to make the First Order answer for what they've done.." She spun on her heel and and started walking away, but then rapidly turned around all embarrassed at herself. "Oh! And I'll come back to visit before another twelve years passes by, I promise! Love you daddy!"Satisfied, she begun her walk back to the city, her head held high with a new determination and strength she hadn't felt in years. Despite the destruction, this trip back to Dantooine had been exactly what she needed to center herself. As she strode back through the city streets, she accessed the holonet through her tablet and begun subtly transferring millions of credits from her account to every relief effort group she could gain access to with her limited time. She didn't want to draw attention to herself, so she made the payments in significantly smaller increments under false names. Even if she couldn't stay and help rebuild her home, she wouldn't let her people down.
Finally, she reached the hangar where the ship was warming up and preparing to take off. She wasted no time and strode up the ramp. She waved a greeting to her friend and the astromech as she passed them."Hey, I'm back. Did I miss.." She cut herself off as she noticed Sinina sitting in the corner of the cargo bay, stroking the unconscious form of the pirate Jashin. "Well, that's one way to get him under control I guess." She gave the Echani woman friendly smile and nod as she continued to make her way to the bridge. Once there, she set her pack down behind the co-pilot chair and took her seat. Her fingers danced over the controls as she addressed the pilot."Everything looks green across the board. Let's get going."

Zalor gave a respectful bow to the rather exhausted Jedi Master, knowing that she was eager to get back to her duties. ::May the Force be with you, Master Hao.::
Zalor immediately felt better after talking with the Jedi Master. The guilt of having hidden on Naboo for five years lifted off his shoulders almost immediately, and suddenly Zalor began to feel a sensation he hadn't felt since escaping the Forest Moon: a feeling of being sorely needed in the galaxy. The Jedi Shadows were gone - and now, so were most of the Dantooine Jedi. Zalor was unsure who of the Jedi were left out in the galaxy. Besides himself, Master Raven and what Jedi were in her crew, he felt that maybe they were the only ones active. Zalor's destiny became clear now - he had to help the Jedi rebuild, no matter what. That included finding his friends and whatever was left of the Shadows. Only then, could they stand a fighting chance against the threat of the First Order.
Once Master Hao's holoimage faded, and Artoo closed up his comm dish, Zalor looked around the cargo hold of the ship, eyeing Jashin and Sinina. Their presence and odd relationship with one another, however shallow or deep it might be, seemed cryptic to Zalor. The Force had brought them here together, but Zalor couldn't figure out why. The Force had given Zalor a cryptic puzzle to decipher. They would no doubt become allies in Zalor's quest, but to what end? And who were they really? Jashin was clearly more than just a pirate. The Lords of Serenno had invested interest in him. Agent Ryder mentioned that he himself was a Lord, and that these other Lords were relatives of his. And Sinina - she was an enigma in and of herself. Zalor had researched the language she had spoken to summon the fog in the battle. This newfound knowledge made the Echani woman seem all the more mysterious. And deadly."Hey, I'm back. Did I miss.." She cut herself off as she noticed Sinina sitting in the corner of the cargo bay, stroking the unconscious form of the pirate Jashin. "Well, that's one way to get him under control I guess." Zalor was in such deep thought that Tanara's entrance up the ramp caught him by surprise. Nonetheless, he smiled, then nodded towards Jashin. "He's certainly not going to be a happy camper when he wakes up, that's for sure."
Once Agent Ryder and Tanara were all situated, Zalor nodded to Jakk, then announced the end of their mission to the crew. "Good work, everyone. We've got Jashin Rau, and all team members are accounted for. That's mission accomplished. Let's bugger outta here."
Zalor grabbed hold of a rope handle on the ceiling as he steadied himself, making ready for the ship's liftoff.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Muttered Jakk to himself, easing the ship off the ground to slide out of the hangar into the sky of Dantooine. Hurdling upward, the ship's sublight engines pushed the craft up into the stars, and, after a brief orientation, the ship disappeared with a blue actinic flash - vanishing into the depths of hyperspace.

The return trip to Garang, a journey taking Berdine, Arduino, and Jyotish from the complete and utter devastation of the Jedi Enclave back to the battle torn capital, required by virtue of the nearly planet-wide ruination that had been visited upon Dantooine that there was no relief from scenes of ruination, and served only, at least in Berdine's case, to heighten the allure of surrendering to the despair, hopelessness, and depression that have threatened to overwhelm her ever since the extent of the damage levied on the world she has called home by the First Order's devastating assault became apparent. With the despair, Berdine can feel anger and hatred for the First Order and its allies threatening to ignite within her, inviting a different kind of surrender and release.
Knowing the danger, emotional and otherwise, that surrendering to any of the darker feelings recent events have left her with, Berdine gravitates to tasks that require intense concentration and focus, denying herself opportunity to allow her focus to turn inward where she believes the danger, at present, is greatest. She knows that she cannot avoid dealing with her feelings forever, but Berdine believes that, for now, it is best to keep moving forward.
Monitoring comm chatter and sensor readings had commanded the majority of her focus during the return trip, and upon landing Berdine had thrown herself back into the effort to treat the many injured and wounded, healing requiring intense levels of focus and concentration she knew would prevent her from indulging in any of the dangerous emotions swirling within her.
Master Jyotish, knowing Arudino and Berdine as well as he does, tasked Arduino with joining one of the search and rescue teams being deployed. It is not the first battle Jyotish or the younger Jedi have fought in, nor the first time any have been on the losing side, but the loss of so many at the Enclave is a blow beyond that which any of them have suffered. Jyotish, even with over twenty years more experience as a Jedi than his fellow survivors, knows that he is as at risk as they for allowing what they have seen and endured to lose his way, but in his mind his rank and duty to the Order demand that he do all that he can to ensure Berdine and Arduino remain in the Light, and so he simply does not permit his own emotional response to all that has transpired from gaining a hold on him, and instead devotes all his focus and energy into remaining a steady and firm pillar for the younger Jedi he considers his responsibility. The strategy of faking it until he makes it has served Jyotish well in the past, and so he falls back on it now.
Once Arduino has left with the Rebel search and rescue party, and he has seen that Berdine returns to her work as a healer, Jyotish, a healer himself, follows her example. Helping the people of Dantooine and the Rebel forces that helped defend the world, recover and rebuild from the battle will demand much of him and his fellow Jedi, Jyotish knows, but he hopes that as they work to help Dantooine recover and rebuild it will prove as much a salve for their own internal wounds and damage as it does for those of Dantooine and her people.

Exhausted as he is, Arduino welcomes the assignment Master Jyotish gives him, preferring assisting the Alliance with its operations to idleness and all that it might invite. Alliance Captain Merodach Cherney, a bearded human who, along with his company typically conduct naval operations in their MC90 Star Cruiser, leads one of the search and rescue operations being conducted by the Alliance in the aftermath of the battle, quickly brings Arduino up to speed on what the operation involves, and just as quickly assigns him to a gunship crew that is departing soon to rescue wounded survivors of a decimated Alliance tank platoon involved in the fighting outside of Garang.
The gunship crew Arduino assists makes more than one trip from Garang throughout the day, conducting searches of not only those areas involved in engagements between Alliance and First Order forces, but also in or near civilian settlements or centers known to have been attacked or damaged during the battle so that civilians in need of evacuation can be taken to Garang or other populated areas with the means and will to offer refuge and aid to displaced citizens and orphans.
When the crew of the gunship he had been working with ceases operations for the day to rest, Arduino finds Cherney to ask if other crews are being sent out. Cherney, able to see how near to collapse Arduino is, gruffly but not unkindly tells him to get some rack time and come back in the morning. As much as Arduino would like to argue, or simply find a ship being sent out without asking for Cherney's blessing to join its crew, he reluctantly admits, if only to himself, that the Alliance Captain has a point, and so finds an empty cot to drop into.

Berdine is in the middle of giving some post-surgical orders to a nurse when Master Jyotish finds her, something in the Zabrak's expression or posture suggesting to her that his reason for finding her at the moment is not merely to check in on her. Thanking the nurse once she has finished the post-surgical order set, Berdine reaches up to rub some of the soreness from her neck as, thinking of a reason that might explain why the Zabrak has sought her out, she asks Jyotish, "Has something happened? Do we need to get ready for an influx of trauma patients?"
Shaking his head, Jyotish replies, "Nothing like that, no. We've received orders from the High Council, he explains briefly. A Jedi investigator has learned of an impending First Order operation, and you, Arduino and I have been tasked with thwarting it."
Arching an eyebrow inquisitively, Berdine asks, "Just the three of us? I hope it is a small operation we are to foil?"
Almost smiling, Jyotish, not wanting to explain all of the details of their orders until Arduino is with them, says enigmatically, "Not just the three of us, no, nor is it a small operation. Reaching over to pat Berdine's shoulder, Jyotish chuckles, Go and find Arduino, meet me by the shuttle. We'll be leaving shortly," he concludes before walking away in his customarily purposeful stride.
Accepting that she will simply need to wait to learn what lays ahead, Berdine closes her eyes and focuses on sensing Arduino's presence. Glad that Arduino is nearby, Berdine goes to where she has sensed him. Shaking Arduino's shoulder to wake him, Berdine tells him when he has awoken, "Master Jyotish is waiting, we've received our orders from the Council. Lifting a hand before Arduino can speak, Berdine says, Before you ask, no, he hasn't told me much yet," and then sets out with Arduino for where Jyotish is waiting.

Rubbing a bearded cheek and blinking the sleep from his eyes when awakened by Berdine, Arduino nods when she informs him of Master Jyotish's news. Reaching for his hooded outer robe and pulling it on, Arduino yawns as he follows Berdine, shaking his head to try and throw the last lingering tendrils of sleep from his mind so that he can attend fully to what they are about to be told.
Feeling fully awake and eager to learn what their orders involve by the time they reach the Crix-class diplomatic courier shuttle they had been given for their use, Arduino greets Jyotish with a clasp on the shoulder, asking, "You have our orders? Will we be kept together, or are we to be separated?"

Master Jyotish nods, reaching over to clasp Arduino's shoulder to return the greeting, "The orders came through a few moments ago, and the High Council has assigned all three of us to a mission. Motioning towards the shuttle's boarding ramp, the Zabrak Jedi Master says, I'll fill you both in on the way."
"On the way to where?" Berdine asks as they all make their way aboard the shuttle, following Master Jyotish towards the cockpit.
As he helps with the preparations for take off, Jyotish explains, "A Jedi investigator has learned of an impending First Order operation, a large scale one, and have assigned us to do what we can to prevent, or at least hinder their forces from completing their objective. Looking over towards Berdine, addressing one of her earlier questions, Jyotish explains, We will be joining the Alliance forces that have also volunteered to stand against the forces of the First Order. Turning towards Arduino, he goes on, I believe you know one of the Captains that will be among the Alliance forces assembling to meet the First Order's forces, Captain Cherney? We will be docking aboard his ship, and then journeying on to the rendezvous point where the Jedi Investigator and other Alliance ships and troops are assembling to be briefed. Time is short, however, Jyotish adds with a frown as the shuttle lifts off, and from what I've been told the First Order will have almost certainly already gotten their operation underway by the time we have assembled our forces. Our mission will not be an easy one," the Zabrak concludes as the ship adjusts its course and begins to ascend towards orbit.

Arduino nods once Master Jyotish has revealed what their assignment entails, a determined frown on his face as he observes, "Nothing is ever easy where the First Order is concerned. Forcing a lop-sided grin, as he takes the Crix-class diplomatic courier shuttle higher and higher towards orbit, watching his instruments for Captain Cherney's ship to appear on sensors, Arduino says, As they say however, nothing worthwhile ever comes easy."
Continues here.

One day, the skies over Garang darkened as its people saw the descending wedge-shape of an Imperial Star Destroyer coming into the planet's atmosphere. They had heard of what had happened, the Galactic Alliance and the Jedi Order had abandoned the world as part of the tenuous peace deal with the First Order. Dantooine, where the spark of the war had begun, fell under the banner of the First Order with the simple signing of a peace treaty. In the weeks after those events on Manaan, an Imperial garrison was installed on the planet and Imperial Intelligence agents began their sweep of the planet's populace. With Dantooine taken, the Emperor proclaimed the Unification Wars at an end for the Imperial Sector had finally be united under the regime of the First Order.
Terror and fear descended upon the planet. While the Emperor professed a rule through obedience and loyalty as the prime directive of the First Order, orders were given to find any connected to the Galactic Alliance and the Jedi Order for arrest, detainment, and, if they resisted, execution. Dissidents and possible sources of rebellion had be stamped out in order for true Imperialism to take control of the planet. Despite these actions, Imperial Civil Services arrived to help rebuild the world as a model planet of the First Order. A true testing field for many social experiments in how to rebuild a world devastated by their owners.

Jensen Lorgo, former admiral of the Ronove Order and a highly-capable fleet tactician, pursed his lips at the request before him. He had chosen Dantooine as his hiding place once the Ronove Order fell, for he was hunted by the likes of Kaiden and his fleet. Now showing his age clearly in his wrinkled face and white hair, Jensen had fully intended to stay out of galactic affairs. He was an expert at finding novelty ships for customers, and this one special order had his eyebrows raised.
A Mister Picas Dixon wanted a non-combatant ship capable of housing around five or six people, with a hyperdrive, and the ability to avoid detection. That was a tall order; not many ships were capable of stealth, and those that were tended to be fighters or larger cruisers. Way out of this guy's price range. Jensen, however, was a master at his chosen field and knew exactly where he could find one.
He just had a terrible feeling about this one. He had kept his head down since the First Order took over. Being human and being used to the military, he had blended right in. He knew he could not stop the oppression, and so kept his head down and his head on his shoulders. He had a feeling this would all change.
He grabbed his comlink and began calling around his contacts. He was sure someone was saving an old SkyBlind ship somewhere...

After speaking to nearly all of his regular contacts, Jensen was about to give up. He struck gold, however, in the most unlikely of places. It was a name he had committed to memory years ago. He had only ever dealt with the woman once, and that was for an Ugly. A very quirky client wanted a Starfighter with an AT-AT head as the cockpit, and there was only one woman in the known galaxy that could provide him with what he needed.
Jensen hadn't immediately thought of her for the SkyBlind he was looking for, but had shrugged his shoulders with a 'I've got nothing to lose' attitude, and linked up to her comlink.
"Jensen my dear. What do you want?"
The voice of an angel laced with venom, and straight to the point. He found himself smiling and looked at the console in front of him. She was not on Dantooine, so Jensen had to make an off-world call, which was draining credits from his account like an Ithorian drains fun.
"Knoxia, lovely to hear from you again. I have a special kind of ship I'm looking for, and was wondering if you had what I needed."
A pause, then a sniff.
"What is it?"
"A SkyBlind. Don't ask me why, but it suits the needs perfectly. Do you have one?"
"I never ask why. The less I know, the better. And it just so happens I have what you need..."

Jensen and Knoxia had a decently long conversation; not so much about the client and his odd request, but more about how Jensen was doing under the First Order's current occupation of the planet. Jensen explained that he had no bother, but that was because he himself was not a bother for his new overlords. That was how power structures worked, and he had intended to keep it that way.
They ended the call with half-meant well wishes and 'see you soons'. "Well, best get to it."
Knoxia had agreed that Jensen could arrange for the purchase of the SkyBlind she had 'acquired', but she would need to speak to the client first. That meant he had to find this Picas Dixon, but it could wait until tomorrow. It was late and curfew was nearly in due. Stormtroopers would be milling around Garang looking for poor souls to harass, and Jensen was too long in the teeth to be their punching bag.

The retired admiral had some bother locating his client. This 'Picas Dixon' wasn't in the directory of citizens that the First Order provided. Although Jensen was quite against militant oppression of a whole world, and others besides, he did enjoy the sense of structure and order these cyclical empires created. Why can't they have the best of both worlds? Democracy and order; was that such a difficult thing to accomplish?
Leaving his thoughts on the administrative structure of galactic governments behind, he brought up the initial message. It had been from a private datapad, reading as follows:
Mr Lorgo,
I hope you can help. My name is Picas Dixon and I'm currently on the hunt for a relatively niche ship, one that I am told you are the person to find for me. In short, I need a lightly-armed ship (the less weapons the better) which is able to house (not just carry, but house) around five different people, and is able to move quietly and have some sort of stealth capabilities.
I realise this may be a tall order, and my budget is not extensive, but I'm hoping your expertise will make another happy client.
May the Force be with you,
Picas.
Jensen repeated the message out loud, finishing on the 'may the Force be with you', and an idea formed in his head. "Only two types of people use that expression," he said aloud. "Jedi, and those good-doers who follow them."
But that raised again more problems than it solved. If Picas was a Jedi, then the first place Jensen would look would be the Jedi Enclave. He had heard the stories; the First Order had made doubly sure that the place was ruined, and all Jedi murdered. Was the price of one starship worth the trouble?

Jensen had had two differing thoughts about this 'Picas' person. The logical, self-preserving side of him wanted nothing to do with the transaction. He had risked his life many times as an admiral of a few different organisations, eventually ending in the Ronove Order. He had given the Galaxy the best years of his life, and now it was his turn to enjoy some peace in his final years.
But the other side of him knew that his current job was just boring. He may find it interesting, but it was nothing compared to the rush and exhilaration of the adventures he used to go on and the odds he used to overcome. He was good once upon a time. Fantastic, in fact. Others feared him. He was a name that inspired others.
A smile Jensen did not know was there had answered his conundrum for him. He smiled more at the memories of his former career, not his current life. Jensen, for better or for worse, would help Picas contact Knoxia and get the ship he wanted.
With butterflies occupying most of his abdomen, the retired admiral began packing emergency supplies.

Jensen packed only the essentials. A few changes of clothes, rations for a few days, emergency water, and a tub full of credits that would last him a few months if required. He changed into his 'adventure' gear, which consisted of a body suit with padded shins and travelling boots, a underlay of mesh to help defend against the elements and blunt-force impacts, and a blaster attached to his hip. The retired admiral no longer felt retired, and was looking forward to what could happen next.
He hailed a speeder and asked to go to the Enclave. Though the driver protested slightly, a flash of credits changed his mind, and Jensen Lorgo rushed into the distance.

Randolph sat on the bed of the two bedroom rented room in the city. Whoever had smuggled him and his partner into the city had balls and money. The Mandalorian had never been on Dantooine, although his experience had come from the outer rim he had never ventured this far into Imperial Space. Outside the window the scant cloud cover did little to stop the light eminating from the two moons in the sky. Even if he had been wearing his buy'ce he would have been able to see what was happening outside.
We have another one
Outside across the street a pair of Stoormtroopers was arresting another person. This was the third one on the street in the past few days. He watched as the white clad men frisked the Dantooine native before putting him in handcuffs. Even if the man was innocent it was sure going to end up with him having done something against the First Order.
Turning his attention back to the room went back over his weapons and ammo ensuring that everything was still in working order, just as he had for the past week. The past month. To fall into idleness was to give into Arasuum and a true follower of Kad Ha'rangir would never do this. He had two types of ammo for their first attack against the Imperial Forces tomorrow, one was the typical bolt that would be able to pierce the armour of the Stormtroopers. The other had an explosive head, each being separated he checked them again for any issues that may cause them to ruin the plan. Pleased with what he saw he returned them into their cases and lay them under the floor boards beneath his bed.
Reaching into a bag he pulled out some armour polish and spoke again to his companion as he polished the pieces of armour
You know, I don't really see how saving a few prisoners tomorrow will do us any good. As I understand it this was one of the most contested battle grounds of the war. Even now, for such a small population the garrison is large.

"Remind me again why you want to be here" Biz asked.
The Hyperium Star flew low into it's landing arc, passing a FO shuttle as it took of, most likely carrying new prisoners. Zhia stepped up from her pilot's chair, letting Biz handle the landing procedures while she gathered her gear. Her armor, a specialized model of Stormtrooper armor made during her service, was a black color, and bore several scratches, dents, and other signs of wear and tear. Leather and cloth scraps were affixed to the armor in multiple places, giving it a very mercenary look, allowing it to sneak past glancing FO soldiers without notice. She grabbed her long blaster, as well as her E-11 and slung them over her back, then grabbed her helmet and began to dust it off.
"Because the first order are here" she replied. "I may not be a rebel, but an oppressed world gives plenty of chances for someone to request him dealing with their oppressors." She scowled as she gazed into the eye windows of her helmet, her past still haunting her. "And maybe one day i'll find who i'm looking for."
The Hyperium Star touched down onto a landing pad, a small ways away from the center of town. Engineers immediately scrambled around, locking down the ship and beginning it's refueling. Biz began powering the ship down as Zhia donned her helmet, looking effectively like a simple hood at a passing glance.
"Will you be alright? Our cover got us down onto the planet, but I doubt leaving will be easily possible." Biz walked over to her and grabbed his EE-5 rifle off the wall as well.
"I'll be fine." She looked at him and put a hand on his blaster. "Stay here and lay low, a battle droid walking around town will attract too much attention." she tapped the side of her helmet. "I'll be on comms if we need each other."
Biz shrugged, stowing his blaster and sitting back down in his co-pilot's seat. "Fine, but if they try to take your ship i'm shooting them."
Zhia snickered and gave him a silent nod before lowering the ramp. Descending down to the landing pad, she quickly re-sealed the ramp and began walking towards the city, using the navigation system in her helmet to look for any bounty or mercenary-wanted postings. She walked calmly through the streets, passing a few groups of FO stormtroopers without raising any suspicion, her disguise-modified armor doing it's job effectively.

Randolph looked up from his work at the sound of a new ship coming into the city limits. He had been in town long enough to learn that there was a fairly predictable schedule being followed. Either the prisoner transport ship was a few minutes early or something else was in the sky. Outside he saw a ship landing that looked different than the others. Something about the white decals along the side looked different than the usual ships that were in the city. Despite the curfew his interest had been piqued. Donning his armour as fast as he could Randolph slipped out his window and jumped onto the roof just below it.
This was just a rec for him and did his best to stick to the shadows. Most troopers were not looking up. The job was fairly mundane, and the patrol fatigue had set in. As such in no time he had found his way to the starport. It helps that he was staying in the closest apartment. He got there in time to see a Stormtrooper different than the usual ones. Most had the usual white clad armour with the smiling faces. This one was different, black with fabric throngs around it. Easily looked over by most as someone trying to be unique and have fun. To Randolph a seasoned mercenary he saw the works of a fellow merc.
Following the Stormtrooper from the roofs he kept his distance. No point in being spotted when he should rightfully be in his room. As best he could figure this person was looking for something. If the path hadn't been so erratic he would have cut the Stormtrooper off, hopefully they would give up their searching soon.
