Description:
With the Quarren Dominion's everlasting need of expanding into more star systems, the engineers at Mon Calamari Shipyards and Pammant Dockyards are always in need of developing new shiptypes, which would ensure that the Quarren Dominion can maintain its stance as a growing empire. With most redeveloped ship types becoming more gargantuan versions of their predecessor Separatist versions, it is not surprising that the Interitus-class Destroyer inherits not only visual traits from the Providence-Class Carrier/Destroyer, but as well resembles to some portion the design of an Imperial Star Destroyer.
Utilizing blueprints from the Imperious-Class Star Destroyer line, Quarren engineers have found a way to incorporate most of the Imperious' systems into a sleeker, upsized version of the Providence-class, capable of rivaling an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer in open combat and speed.
For the cost of it's wide hangar bay, the new Interitus-class features a full armament of 50 heavy turbolaser batteries, 50 heavy turbolaser cannons, 32 Flak cannons, 20 heavy ion cannons, 40 point defense laser cannons, 50 gravity mines and 10 heavy tractor beam projectors, operated by a crew of 13,000 men. Alongside it's 72 star fighter compliment, the Interitus can carry a garrison of 8,000 troops, making it thus ideal for occupying planetary systems on its own.
