Description:
Inspiration for the Beviin design came from a rather ubiquitous vessel within the galaxy. The aged, but still lethal, Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser has been a staple within many navies, both for system and galactic governments. As such, the Beviin mirrored something along these lines; powerful, but easy to mass produce. As a result, this cruiser would come into existence during the reign of Mandalore the Bureaucrat. With intended service to be a strong frontline warship, designed to be a floating block of weapons, that would be able to defend Mandalorian space and bring battle to their foes.
Like other vessels of MandalMotors, the Beviin-class was nothing pretty to look at. Yet, it wasn't meant to look pretty, but pack a punch to ensure holes were made in the fleet formations of enemies. With this in mind, the firepower of the cruiser was certainly aimed to be impressive. 10 quad heavy turbolaser batteries, 20 light turbolaser cannons, 20 dual ion cannon turrets, 40 point defense laser cannons, and 30 proton torpedo launchers. Its complement included 48 starfighters and a total of 2,000 troops for various operations, both planetary and space.
