The original Inexpugnable-class was a hive of activity, a command ship that served the Republic navy well for years during ages past. The Black Omega is not a vessel that requires living beings in order to function, and rather than commanding inefficient organics, it commands weapons and it commands battle droids. The single main hangar contains 192 craft that are bonded to the ship itself through the main AI control node.
Omegon's command ship requires neither life support nor artificial gravity, nor the support and medical facilities or sleeping and living quarters that would have been used by an organic crew. Power generation, armor plating, shielding, and heavy weaponry have been added to beef up the striking power of this monster vessel and bring it into line with modern warships of its size.
The vessel can engage across a wide field with its long range weaponry, while fully capable of fending off starfighter attack with its point defences. The main hangar remains a weak point, as are the main engines.
The hull itself is solid enough, what makes the vessel so durable is the ability to easily seal off damaged sections. With no need to maintain atmosphere, blast doors can quickly seal off battle damage, and the risk of exploding oxygen and other breathable gases is likewise lessened. So although she looks like a regular vessel, the Black Omega is far more durable than she would appear, thanks to clever design, and the lack of living crew requirements.
The ship is not fast, given her enormous mass, and her agility isn't great either. These weaknesses are somewhat mitigated by her toughness and overlapping fields of heavy fire. She is designed to fight alone against a hostile galaxy, and be the herald of doom for the enemies of the Dark.

I have noticed a theme of minimal mass drive cannons on many vessels throughout SW lore. I think these are probably extremely powerful to utilize and thus require powerful resources. One ship, of this size, was the Cal-class Battleship which utilized a single mass drive cannon. I have looked for others, in lore, that may have more then a few, but I cannot find any. The most ever put was on the Separatist-class Dreadnought that I created with my alt which were six, but they were also a special kind of deck cannon utilized on the Invisible Hand. I would recommend sizing that down from 25 to just several or less. Edit: also size down the image, please.

Also you mention point defense but I see no numbers or what those are. Edit: also size down the image, please. From what I recall Recusant Dominion Dreadnaught was outfitted with 96 flak cannons to correct the statement regarding "the most put on a vessel" (being however the same variant as the ones on the Invisible Hand, as the idea was to create something that was in a broadside battle on par with the Resurgent-Class in terms of firepower).
So... depending on weaponry the Heavy Star Destroyer-class was always quite "overequipped" or at least features a lot vessels, that have a lot of weapon batteries installed from what I recall, if it helps the argument.edit: nvm what I wrote, I just realized that there are two types of Flak cannons, one with shells and some others which function like Massdriver/Ion cannons. You refered to the later of which I wasn't even aware. ^-^'

That works for me! Approved!
Oh! For the point in hangar space, I don't think you have the details for how many starfighters it carries as a result.
