The 181st Infantry Company, known as Fel Company within the First Order's armed forces were assigned to a Raider-class corvette. Heavily modified for extra cargo space and custom fitted out to the company's specifications, the unique ship was renamed Starflare. As with the original Raider, the ship is sleek and roomy and visually, the stern contains the main reactors, and holds the same 3 engines and a hyperdrive in similar configuration to the original Raider-class. Armaments include missile tubes, laser cannons, turbolasers, ion cannons, as well as quad laser cannons for starfighter defence.

The Starflare is equipped with a large tractor beam which is mounted into the ship's bow, easily its most unique feature. The ship also has hangar space for a full squadron of fighters, or for equivalent size infantry transports capable of bringing the 181st from their vessel to any surface or station. The vessel has space for the entire 222 beings of the company should that become necessary. Along with a mess and recreation deck, there are training rooms and holovid facilities for the troopers while on board. 

Thorough work by First Order engineers in a full redesign of the original Raider-II specs maximised the available internal space within the vessel. Marrying advanced design processes with the most advanced technology available allows the corvette to maintain a significantly improved agility and speed than previous iterations, while increasing the superstructure in size and mass. Powerful twin reactors are able to channel power through shielded capacitance banks directly into the advanced engines, which allows the larger Starflare to output higher energy levels, also providing power for her weapons arrays and shields.

A small command deck controls the vessel, which can be piloted by a single being, though usually there are two on duty at any time. Likewise, the vessel's weapons can be slaved to the command deck's computer systems, or manned by the 181st at need. The vessel acts as a home away from home for the company, as well as being a small part of the striking fist of the First Order.
