Description:
Based upon the TIE/es Assault Shuttle, the TIE/sas Stealth Assault Shuttle was designed alongside the Upsilon-class Stealth Shuttle to provide a more covert and undetectable method of movement. Unlike the Upsilon though, the TIE/sas did not receive quite as luxurious an upgrade to its troop bay. The TIE/sas traded cargo space for the Stygium Cloak system, but still maintained the 12 person carrying capacity of the TIE/es. This meant the TIE/sas could conduct troop insertion operations without being detected.
