The eyebrow of the High Marshal was raised at the eagerness to conclude this business. Without another word, Artemis turns and shows the Warlord Pellaeon to a conference room where other officers sat. In total, there were three present, all of them high-ranking members of the First Order. To the right of an empty chair sat Maximus Arcavius, Fleet Admiral of the Tempest Command and Chairman to the Imperial Propaganda Committee, a devote follower of the First Order's principles and ideology. Next to the Flett Admiral sat the middle-aged General Caster Krannurak, the deputy commander to the High Marshal and General of the 1st Imperial Corps. He had long served the First Order, having once been a Colonel when the Supreme Commander was Head of State for the Imperial Remnant. Yet to the left sat a red-armored Imperial Knight, simply known as Malius, who served as the Acting Grandmaster of the Imperial Knights for the First Order. These men had been present to review the fleet under the Supreme Commander's orders and had been reviewing a number of reports and orders that needed to be fulfilled.
Once the High Marshal entered with Warlord Pellaeon, Artemis would take the empty seat with his fellow Imperials, training his eyes upon their guest. He quietly keys a panel upon the table, allowing the room to dim and a holoprojector to appear. As soon as it came to life, yet another Imperial would appear. Except this one wore a white uniform, with a cape that hid his armors and trailed down to the floor. He appeared middle-aged and had similar features to that of Artemis. The holofigure of the Supreme Commander remained silent for a moment before speaking, his eyes clearly trained upon Pellaeon.
So this is the one that you reported about, High Marshal? I do seem to recall him from times past. Before the Great Mutiny almost tore our Remnant apart as it joined the Galactic Empire. At least I know he still has loyalty towards our cause... something the First Order promotes to its fullest.
Indeed, Supreme Commander. We reviewed his files, some of which we extracted from databases captured when we conquered Bilbringi from the remnants of the New Order of the Eye. He appears to have served them, no blemishes on his career, received a few rank recommendations and then eventually came to us.
Nicademus falls silent as he reviews the physical character of the warlord.
Do you have anything to add on, Warlord Pellaeon?

I follow the High Marshal to a conference room, the two troopers following silently behind. They stop at the door, taking post on either side of the door, or as close to it as they can. I take a seat opposite the investigative panel, nodding to each as I approach my chair. I sit and smile warmly as I recognize the man in the holo. It had been too long since the two had last spoken, though the other had risen in status significantly since the last time they spoke. Granted, most of the talks had been at official functions and rather limited in duration, but we had spoken before. I listened to the exchange between the High Marshal and the Supreme Commander in silence, with no particular expression on his face. When questioned directly, I respond immediately with confidence.
"Only that I and my men regret not hearing of the First Order sooner, thus delaying our proper entry into it's service.
Oh, I do have one request to make. These men have worked hard together for a long time. I know it might be unconventional, but if you can, please keep the crews intact. I understand you may have to transfer the individual ships to other commands for purposes of avoiding favoritism or otherwise proving loyalties. I only ask that you keep the crews of each ship together as much as possible please. Everyone here payed for their position with hard work and no small amount of sweat and blood. I'm asking you to honor that. Can you do it?"
There shouldn't be any serious issues integrating the task force into the imperial fleet. The only possible exception would be the Dala's crew, which as anyone with half a penchant for imperial history might have guessed, had significant number of female officers in her crew. All competent in their position, and over qualified in several cases, but due to disagreements in the task force officers over whether or not women should be recognized for their achievements, and Aurel's willingness to take advantage of competition within the crew, convinced the other officers to allow a trial run with the oldest ship in the task force. Women were evaluated by their peers and assigned new ranks on the Dala accordingly. Things went poorly for the first two and half months as all that concentrated estrogen had an effect on the male crew as well as interpersonal relations. However, when it became clear that the lack of performance was being noted with glee by the arrogant pricks in the rest of the task force, the Dala's crew shaped up quickly. It took another month to iron everything out, but it was currently the most efficient crew in the task force and proud of it.
Pellaeon had considered declining to join the First Order just because he didn't wan this hardest working crew busted back to enlisted crew just because of standard imperial prejudices. He hoped his intel was good, it had said that the FO was more interested in results than gender and though species was still an issue; it was a smaller issue. Still, he'd never really trusted intel, there was always something wrong with intel. Thankfully it was usually something that could be accounted for. Pellaeon waited for an answer to his request with patience, expecting it to come after a significant amount of deliberation.

There was hardly a pause in the Supreme Commander, nor a hesitation, when the request was made.
This is agreeable, Warlord Pellaeon. However, I only ask that your crew report for their indoctrination into the First Order where they will learn everything they need to so that they may better serve not only yourself, but the First Order as a whole. Upon completion, they will be reassigned to your command, for which shall be given the designated codename of Warlord Command.
There was no disagreement nor counter made by the senior officers that sat within the same room as Aurel. It was quite evident that the Supreme Commander's word was the will of the First Order and law of their organization. None dared to question it, save perhaps those closest to his person and ranked among his trusted advisers, such as the High Marshal.
Quietly, the Fleet Admiral jots down a note upon his datapad, making the necessary paperwork for the designated new battlegroup, Warlord Command. Nicademus would continue to speak, however. Clearly the Imperial had more to say than just the confirmation of Aurel's request.
As with your own indoctrination into the First Order, you will be given the rank of Fleet Admiral of Warlord Command. Your superior will be High Admiral Viox Savage and myself, as Supreme Commander of the First Order. You will be granted access to our shipyards of Yaga Minor and Bilbringi that will be at your disposal for your fleet. In addition, you shall be granted the honorary title of Warlord of the Empire in recognition for your previous services and rank. Your soldiers will be equipped with the latest armor and weaponry to better serve the First Order.

Pellaeon nodded aquiessance, even as the Supreme Commander continued talking. He listened carefully and ... had to raise an eyebrow at the code name. Sure the man had better things to do with his time than think up code names for hypothetical situations like this one, but ... surely the leader of such an expansive order could be a little more ... original? in his naming schemes, right? No... oh, okay then. Well, that was that then. Pellaeon straitened his expression hastily, hoping it hadn't been mistaken for insubordinate thoughts. His mouth twitched when his rank was listed as he tried not laugh, it really was the best the man could do on short notice apparently. Thankfully creativity wasn't a necessity for being a practical ruler. As the supreme commander finished, Pellaeon came to attention and saluted his new superior officer.
"My thanks Supreme Commander. Warlord Command will be brought up to date with the new regime and its equipment and then report back to the High Admiral for further orders."
I somehow manage to keep my voice level, and my face straight, for the whole thing. Mostly by thinking about the implications of the updates in tech and the need for training in new vessels as it was unlikely that my current command would be seen as fit for service in the First Order; old as it was, even with the numerous updates and refits. I'd have time for that later, now I need to focus on finishing this. I return my attention to the room and it's occupants more or less awaiting an official dismissal or further orders should those be necessary.

The officer would point to a nearby squad of black armored Stormtroopers that seemed to be waiting someone. The squad of four approaches, silently beckoning for Thrakk to follow them to the turbolift that would take the Hand to the conference room where the Warlord, now known as Fleet Admiral Aurel Pellaeon, was awaiting him.Pellaeon nodded aquiessance, even as the Supreme Commander continued talking. I'd have time for that later, now I need to focus on finishing this. I return my attention to the room and it's occupants more or less awaiting an official dismissal or further orders should those be necessary. The door behind the recently promoted Fleet Admiral hissed opened, revealing a Sith Lord, who was identified as Lord Thrakk. The Supreme Commander waits a moment as Thrakk moves into the room. His gaze then glances behind him, looking directly at the High Marshal.I will let you inform Lord Thrakk and Fleet Admiral Pellaeon of their new assignment.Nicademus then returns his gaze to the Fleet Admiral and his Hand.I expect results on this mission. And effective ones. The transmission then cut out. Yet it was shortly replaced with the image of a planetoid, identified simply as Mygeeto, one of the primary core worlds of the First Order and a major supplier of raw materials. Upon its surface, a few red dots pulsated, as group, within a few sectors. The High Marshal rises from his seat, walking to the side of the table before looking at Mygeeto. Our stalemate at Dantooine has caused former IGBC prisoners of war, who were enslaved and forced to work the mines on Mygeeto, to riot and rebel. The governor, whose errors caused this disturbance to only grow in strength, who is now deceased, has lost several facilities and a couple armories. These rebels are now armed, both with conventional weaponry and armor. The garrison is keeping them contained, but the Surface Commander and Acting Governor believe they plan a massive offensive. The High Marshal keys a few buttons, showing an obvious target that laid to the east of the troubled sectors. It appeared to be a refinery that could resupply vehicles as well as a few small spaceports. Artemis turns to the Fleet Admiral and Hand, Lord Thrakk. The Supreme Commander and his advisers believe this is the most likely target, which makes this mission a priority. You will be granted the entirety of the 2nd Corps, commanded by General Flavius Suutrar, to reinforce the garrison and put down this disturbance. The Supreme Commander has ordered no survivors... he wishes the workers of Mygeeto understand that Dantooine has not faltered our drive, our determination nor disrupted our power. Get the job done and pacify Mygeeto. Is this understood, Fleet Admiral and Lord Thrakk?

Pellaeon turned as the doors behind him opened, and watched the sith lord with mild curiosity, while introductions are made. Turning back to the Supreme Commander as he continues, Aurel nods in farewell as his new superior signs off. Pellaeon studied Mygeeto as it came up in the supreme commander's place and listened intently as the briefing continued. As it concluded, Aurel Pellaeon looked to the High Marshal and indicated his understanding before asking the two questions burning through his mind.
"I understand perfectly, though I do have two questions. First, for clarity's sake, which of us is designated as operational commander? Second, Am I re-equipping first, or taking my current command out for this mission? "

* Thrakk stood with his arms casually across his chest and silently listened to the High Marshall as he read over the reports and data on the holo screen about the situation on Mygeeto. It was missions like these that Thrakk truly enjoyed, having been used to more political and secret missions as of late; this would give Thrakk a great chance to "stretch his legs" one could say. After the High Marshal was done speaking, Thrakks eye move over to Pellaeon who had asked two questions about the mission.
Through the force, Thrakk subtly probed the Fleet Admiral with the force to try and get a better sense of him, he wanted to make sure that he would be a good fit to work with. Having gotten lucky when the Supreme Commander assigned him along side of Tarkin who not only shared a same sense of military tactics but also utilized Thrakk's certain expertise to pacify a situation...the same expertise that earned him the title of Hand. Thrakk takes a step forward so that he was now standing next to Pellaeon*
" If I may, perhaps Command of the Mission should be placed on the New Fleet Admiral. So that we may observe on how he operates "
* Thrakk hits a few buttons on his wrist link which downloads all mission information given by the High Marshall ans then sends a message to his own forces having get ready for deployment. *

The High Marshal glances at the Lord Hand when he makes the suggestion to give command to the Fleet Admiral. Artemis would not do such a thing, giving the command to someone more experienced and long-standing within the First Order. However, this was the Supreme Commander's Hand. A man's whose authority was great and without question. If the Lord Hand could vouch for the Fleet Admiral, then he had no choice but to agree,
I shall agree with the Hand's recommendation and make Fleet Admiral Pellaeon overall commander for this mission. Admiral Pellaeon, General Suutrar and Lord Thrakk will serve as your deputies. Display the skills that you gained from your previous careers and prove your worth to the First Order.
With the orders given, the display would be keyed off. At that time, the High Marshal would turn to Pellaeon
Your present fleet will do, Admiral Pellaeon, as well as two ships of the Tempest Command; the Victory II-class Star Destroyers, Tempest and Mordred. However, any ships that Lord Thrakk commands will be up to his discretion and under his personal command. As a Hand of the Supreme Commander, he is allowed to operate and override other authorities.

Aurel Pellaeon accepted the nomination, having expected half as much, but being rather annoyed that things played out exactly as they had. He didn't like the chain of command being circumvented, still it couldn't be helped here. He saluted the High Marshal, and turned to the Hand, offering a comment before leaving the room, headed for the hangar and his shuttle.
"Since this was your idea, I'll expect full compliance from you for the duration of this mission. If this is to be a test of my abilities, I'll thank you to let me pass or fail of my own accord."
Pellaeon offered no threat, no warning, just an honest statement. If the Hand didn't like it, he could only thank himself for his choice of words. Pellaeon's mind was on the problem at hand, Mygeeto and the refinery. He wasn't fond of ground conflicts, they got messy fast. And he didn't do PR well either, he was going to have to play this one really carefully or just go full brutality and overwhelming force. He'd seen an iron fist at work enough times though. He new it wouldn't root out the problem, nearly so much as smother it for a time and that much only in the places he focused on. This was going to be a long assignment, unless it could be brought to a quick and decisive end in the first few weeks. But how could he achieve that?
Pellaeon, once again flanked by his escort, returned to his shuttle. Shortly there after it departed the hangar and returned to the Mynock. His crew responded to their orders quickly and with precision, bringing a flicker of warm pride to Pellaeon's heart. Order was such a rare thing in this galaxy, it made him proud to know his men and women stood a beacon in the chaos of the void between the stars. The task force moved to the designated jump point and waited for the two Vic-II's and the Hand's forces to catch up. This would be an interesting operation, and Pellaeon was eager to see just what challenges it would entail. When the task force was ready, Pellaeon gave the order to make the jump, and it vanished into the swirling confusion of Hyperspace.

" Remember this Pellaeon.....I do not tolerate Failure, "
* Thrakk Can hear Pellaeon pause at the words the continue out of the room. *

The CR90 corvette "Happy Reigns" entered orbit by the official hyperspace exit. It was a fairly new ship, and funnily enough it lacked IFF signitures. THis was a fairly good reason to welcome the ship with suspicion.
-Bateman Omega- Greetings. My name is Patrick Bateman. I am a diplomatic envoy of a consortium of business interests spread around in the galaxy. I wish to have a formal audience with whomever is in governing control of the planet and the faction known as the First Order.
Taking a look at the HNN after the fiasco on Dathomir, the First Order was not hard to find. At least, their official main holdings were not. The first idea was to go to Yaga Minor, but that idea was too similar with Dathomir, so instead this little expedition went to the head of the snake, with a new plan.

The orbiting Star Destroyers and other military vessels seemed to be rather lenient with the appearance of the CR90 Corvette that entered their space. The transmission picked up from Mr. Bateman was recognized and immediately transferred to Muunilist Planetary Security. Unknown to Bateman, the people here knew the name well, as many of them once served the former Galactic Empire, started by Sinistra, and the late Imperial Remnant of the Deep Core. There was not much of a wait before a response was given.
Mr. Bateman, you are permitted to speak with the Supreme Commander of the First Order by his personal authority. Please make your way to High Port orbital station where he awaits you. Please adhere to all Imperial law during your stay and enjoy what hospitality is offered on behalf of our nation.

-Bateman Omega- "A lot friendlier then the last lot."
-Bateman Omega- Thank you for your time, we will arrive shortly.
Driver Bob, as Roberta was called went into landing mode and with the help of the local flight controll, she landed the ship at the designated coordinates. While this went on, Bateman organised an away-party to actually look like someone with some .... sas. All his grandiose plans were then ruined by the Mistress telling him he only gets one escort, and it is her.

Three First Order Vessels -- the Vindicator Cruiser 'Georgian,' and the Vic II Frigates 'Terror VI' and Lambri's own ship, the 'Pulsar,' emerge from hyperspace. All are heavily battle-damaged. The 'Georgian,' in particular is barely holding on. On the bridge of the Pulsar, Evi Lambri nods to her comms officer, James Kittridge, and a channel is opened to the orbiting fleet.
First Order Fleet, this is Lambri, Lead of the prison ship escort fleet Kartzela, and Captain of the Pulsar. One of my ships has need of immediate assitance. Orbital control -- put me through to the flag officer's ship.

The present flag officer on duty was Fleet Admiral Maximus Arcadius, one of the noted advisers of the Supreme Commander. He had been designated as the Home Fleet Defensive Officer, giving him full control over orbital defenses. Upon receiving the transmission, he replied from the bridge of the Tempest.
Captain Lambri, the prison ship was supposed to be in orbit over Dubrillion. You will have to explain yourself to the Supreme Commander of these changes as there are no records of such actions being permitted. Given the status of your ships, they will be hauled to Yaga Minor for repairs. In the mean time, take a ship to High Port where the Supreme Commander is present.

Explain myself. Sure. I can do that. To the supreme Commander. Absolutely.
Admiral Arcadius... If you'll ask your duty officer to double-check, you'll note that the prison ship is not with us, and is, as far as I'm aware, still in orbit over Dubrillion. Where one of our own is currently ransacking her -- Sir. I will take a shuttle to High Port immediately. If you could see to it that my casualties are seen to, I would be most appreciative, Admiral. Lambri out.
Evi found something that had been left for her to sign, and threw the data-card across the bridge. Bastard. Straightening her tunic, she called to her #2.
Kittridge, meet me at the 'Solace.' We depart in five minutes. to the bridge staff helm, best speed to high orbit. Prepare to receive support crews from planet-side. Mister Brunne -- you have the conn.
She strode purposefully to the turbo lift and descended to the hangar, where her shuttle, the Lambda-class 'Solace,' waited, and boarded the ship with her first officer. No matter what they say, Colin -- the crews are not to blame for our situation over Dubrillion, and I won't allow any blame to be shouldered by the heroes under my command. Is that clear?
Permission to speak candidly, ma'am? Lambri shot the man a look, as if to say 'Really? After all we've been through? Permission?' Kittridge nodded and continued.
We're all behind you, Ma'am. You did all you could.
Lambri nodded. It was true. She knew it. But there would be hard questions to answer. A significant material loss to account for. And ultimately it fell to her. As the shuttle lifted off, and crossed the chasm of open space, she buttoned the collar of her tunic, and straightened her hair, tugging on her gloves against the cold of space. It didn't take long to cross to the High Port Station, and before long the 'Solace' was touching down on a landing pad...

The heavily modified Star Courier 'Scimitar', Shadow Of The Night, exited hyperspace above the Imperial homeworld of Muunilinst. As the helm of the agile vessel was the First Order's High Admiral himself. Viox Savage deftly piloted the craft towards High Port. As he approached, he opened a comm channel.
"This is High Admiral Savage to Imperial Control. Clearance code: Eight-Zulu-Niner-Omega-Four. Docking clearance requested."
Cutting the forward thrust, the Night slowed while the High Admiral waited for a response from Imperial Control. Hopefully this little 'field trip' the Supreme Commander had planned would prove to be beneficial to him. Claiming Iridonia, decimating Alliance forces on Jabiim and having his fleet currently occupying Taris' orbit, he needed a change of pace. Provided he was able to speak with Nicademus, he already knew a beratement was coming his way for the way he had handled the situation on Jabiim. Ultimately, the First Order had 'won', crushing most of the rebel insurgents, but the planet was nearly sapped of all its precious mineral resources. Something that may or may not cost the First Order down the road. Regardless, what was done, was done. Now it was time to move forward.

Imperial Orbital Control hailed the High Admiral almost immediately after his transmission. Given his rank among the First Order hierarchy, its hardly a surprise given his preferred treatment as one of the top First Order military officers. The signal of the transmission came from High Port.
High Admiral, you are permitted to land at High Port. The Supreme Commander is currently in a meeting with Captain Lambri and others, you may join when necessary. Welcome back to Muunilist, Sir.
