The Fortress of Manaan serves as a monument to Sith supremacy. But also it is a tribute to the will of this great planets departed patriarch, Lord Mortus. Apart from the Royal Guards & a massive military presence, Dún na Manaan is a place of learning and meditation free of outside interference. Once home to the Óglaigh na Iarndóideanna – Warriors of the Iron Fists - this fortress serves as a historical landmark and home to those who came before.

And The mystical trickster stood tall.... Right beside the tower of might hidden he lurked in the shadows. He played first low but lifting high, higher, highest then down low again. A absolutely beautiful rendition of O Miorbhail Ghrais. And he slowly faded into the Shadows. And there he lurked silently but suddenly let rip on Uillean pipes playing an eerie little rendition of Brosnachadh Bhruis. The haunting tune finished he fell silent again

A ghostly aura drifted by the edifice. Looking left, rght, left then right again it drifted by.... Nothing that could be firmly established by the eye of the presence of any sentient beings. And like that it was more. A grey owl swept directly behind. The bird lifted high. Higher. And higher. And higher til even under the magnification of binoculars it so small than it appeared as no more than a blemish on the lense. And even that dim image was eventually consumed by the unforgiving sky

And rain came pouring down in buckets. But captive to the wind it was and as consequence the downfall was short lived…. And he wondered. He had asked if his dying wish be would be respected. Here stood a testament to how people viewed that. Wow
