Nicademus glances at his Stormtroopers who nod and walk off for now, leaving the General and Anya to themselves. Nicademus begins to walk for now with Anya, his title and duties all left behind in order to even speak with her. He listens to her story attentively and looks at her with a smile.
I can see why you desire to help the orphans as you were one yourself. You want to help them as people helped you before. Hoping that the teachings of your master and adoptive father will rub off onto them and, one day, inspire them to help the less fortunate as well.
His eyes once more looked at her Jedi robes. It seemed a bit odd compared to the dark crimson and metallic color of the Imperial Knight's armor. She was still counted in the records as an Imperial Knight, but labeled as on 'Shore Leave.' Something that Nicademus had personally arranged discreetly. The General sighs lightly and looks out at the slowly rebuilding city of Harnaidan.
I will need you back at some point, Anya... Stormtroopers don't really have personality and they are too quiet for being bodyguards. My office sounds more like a tomb than an office, save for the many new visitors we have had recently. Yet I understand your desire to help and give assistance. Just don't forget that you have another place you belong, Anya.

"Sir you have been most gracious, might I ask.....suppose 'One' wants to make an appointment with the Grand General, should 'One' go through the propped channels, or would the word of a respected senior officer carry more weight?" The Colonel's eyebrow raises once more at the Cadet's seemingly bold questions. Davos seemed to have a streak of asking some interesting questions. It was clear to Xaldrich that the Cadet wanted some field work. He calmly sighs and rubs his chin.Look, Cadet... Can't make any promises despite your enthusiasm, but I am but a simple Colonel and I can try. I have a meeting with General Artemis later. I will see what I can do about adding some of our cadets to the patrols as observers. Davos allowed himself a brief victorious grin. Plates of plastoid armor clicked as the Cadet snapped a smart salute. Recognising he had pushed his luck to stretching point, and at a good chance of irritating the Colonel to the point where any further statement that might pass his lips would not be savory or to Davos advantage. "Thank you sir. Is there anything further I can do?" A return to pleasantness and not directness, Davos believed that every good turn deserved another, furthermore he was under no illusion that should the Colonel ever require Davos to do anything he would. More so, although the Colonel expressed he was not as powerful as perhaps he wished Davos was in no doubt that should he wish, the Colonel could make things very difficult for the Cadet. Davos might have fewer cards then the Colonel but he knew well how and when to play them.

She couldn't help but let of a slight giggle and shake her head. "Oh, I'm quite certain they aren't. And you needing me back does sound more of personal desire than it being my duty. Once things begin to move smoothly and everything gets back on its feet, my job here will be finished."
When he spoke of the visitors he had been having, her head tilted back as she thought on what she felt. Some, she felt, had ties to the darkness. It was not an issue for her as she, too, walked its shores from time to time. But she still wondered how the Knights felt about it. "I have seen the recent coming and goings of new faces. Anyone of particular interest?"

Nicademus looks at Anya calmly, not sure how to respond to the first statement. All he does is sigh once more, looking out at the rebuilding city. His peripherals noticing yet another squad of Stormtroopers going out on patrol. His mind remembered the schedule for this time; several squads of the 21st Legion were being added to the patrol tonight. They hadn't left too early nor too late. His gaze then returns to Anya.As a General, I must say that. Its hard not to have a trusted bodyguard around... but as for person to person... well, you said it yourself. Personal desire rather than it being your duty. Its just nice to have some company that will talk, besides my usual officers and visitors. His mind then wandered to those who had visited. Among the number counted, only one would be a probable familiar face to Anya. The High Admiral, Viox Savage, was one of my early visitors. It was good to see him still around and ready to serve the Empire.Davos allowed himself a brief victorious grin. Colonel Xaldrich made a mental note to speak with General Artemis about Cadet Davos Raim, who was attached to the 25th Legion of the Imperial 9th Army. He calmly watches the young Imperial for a moment before glancing over to see how the convoy was doing. Things seemed to be running smoothly; no alarming reactions, no sudden movements, all slow and easy going traffic. His eyes watched the perimeter of Beta Camp were members of the Imperial Civil Service, guarded by Stormtroopers, began to document the arrivals to the new structure.
The Colonel's mind wandered for a moment before snapping back into place as he thought of a new assignment for the Cadet. Xaldrich would point directly at the standing ISC official, most likely the appointed Overseer.I would recommend speaking with the ISC Overseer for Camp Beta. The Cadet Commander sent an itinerary for him in case the Overseer had any sort of jobs for you and Dragoon Squad. If you wish to speak with him, go on ahead, otherwise stick around and make sure people are orderly and don't cause any trouble.

She could help but let off another giggle. Had he just said he had to say it because he was the General, she would have been disappointed, feeling that was it was about. But he did well to cover his bases. For now, she moved passed the idea of being a bodyguard and focused on those who had visited, though he only spoke of one. "I see. I wonder, though, how many are tied to the Sith or, at least, the dark-side?"

Nicademus knew this would eventually come up. He rubs his chin slightly, pondering on how many were associated with the Dark Side. All of them were Sith, no Dark Jedi applicants or arrivals. And counting the number, save the Operative, who the General wanted to keep a secret, the Imperial would raise three fingers.
Three of them are tied to the Dark Side, all of them Sith. One is descended from a Sith Lord who lived during the Great Galactic War, then there is the High Admiral and after that, his apprentice, a certain Lord Dracus, paid a visit. So its mixing well. I am hoping this doesn't cause tensions with the Imperial Knights though...
It was one thing hiring Sith affiliates, but another when the Imperial Knights were present. He still kept them as his most internal and trusted security aside from the Imperial Elite Guard, ensuring that the Sith remained outside of that loop unless it proved necessary. Then his gaze turned upward towards High Port, a massive orbital city that rested above Harnaidan.
I plan to have the Imperial Knights set up shop in High Port. Add in a strong garrison of Stormtroopers, fix up the place to make it look like a fortress... you know, add in some cannons, defensive systems and what not. Turn buildings into barracks and add in some places for Imperial officials and departments to set up as well.

A mysterious figure clad in black arrived at port on one of the many docks of Muunilist's capital city, Harmaidan, aboard a random freighter that was captained by an equally anonymous individual. The captain did not know whom he was ferrying, only that he was promised handsome payment for his services; services that would be completely forgotten momentarily. With the flick of his wrist the mystery-man used the Force to wipe the man's immediate memory clean as he departed the ship. A powerful Force-user he was, with the Dark Side as his tool; he was none other than Darth Rebellious, Dark Lord of the Sith.
Although he had been here before, he had not set his sight on this place in quite some time and had no real reasoning for being there now, aside from a transmission being broadcasted on a channel he recognized as an old ally's. He looked down at his datapad, analyzing the holographic imaging he saw on the instrument before proceeding to the source of the broadcast. From the port, the man walked calmly into the near baron streets of a seemingly ruined city, using quey'tek meditation (a form of Force Stealth) to keep his presence from being alerted to anyone he didn't want to been sensed or seen by, Force-sensitive or not. As he looked around he saw an abundance or destruction of varying degrees. He knew this type of devastation, he had seen it before. The Dark Lord recognized it as the leftovers of Mandalorian siege. Every bit of rubble and every scorch mark told the story of battle. The shot groupings, the precision and the overall lack of care for life was all classic Mandalorian. No matter how much he hated them, he had a certain level of respect for their craft, they warred with the best of them.
As the Sith continued through the streets he noticed patrols of Stormtroopers passing by here and there on high alert, they however could not see him under the guise of thin air that his technique had provided. Perfectly stealthed, Rebellious moved through the city unseen, unheard, unfelt and undisturbed as he approached the location the broadcast was coming from. He soon came upon what looked like an old Banking Clan facility amongst the high-rises that somehow still stood in the area. Upon arrival he also noticed more patrols, although, the men he had seen were not the run-of-the-mill troopers had seen before; these men were in fact Imperial Knights. He had recognized them by their armor. He vividly remembered killing one of their leaders on Prakith in the not so distant past while on a hunt for Sith artifacts. Their nature as Force-sensitives was no matter to the Dark Lord however, his quey'tek meditation technique kept him both out of sight and out of their senses as he proceeded into the compound.
The man's stride had somewhat slowed as he entered the building and walked through the corridors trying to pinpoint the location of the braodcast. As he passed room after room through seemingly endless hallways he was slightly surprised to see so many Imperials in one place. "What in Chaos is going on?" He silently asked himself. The person whose channel he had been contacted on hadn't been involved with the Empire or it's remnant factions to his knowledge, but then again he had also been away for quite some time.
Soon enough he stumbled upon an office. No one was currently there, but it seemingly belong to someone important important judging by the size and the decor. It was here that the Sith found the terminal that was sending out the broadcast. It was also here that he would wait, cloaked and cautious, for the one who occupied this space. He had questions and he sought answers.

The sliding door hissed as a middle-aged Imperial walked through it. He was dressed in the typical officer fashion; dark grey uniform and medals that indicated his rank of General. Except, unlike most officers, the male had his cap off and nowhere in sight. As the doorway closed, Rebellious could see the appearance of several members of the Imperial Elite Guard leaving the presence of Nicademus and taking up position outside the doorway. Without any words spoken, the door closed and left the General alone with the unknown intruder.
Nicademus was looking at a datapad that was set down at the larger terminal which was his usual work station. The massive console was used to give orders, examine patrol reports, and access further reports from behind his office. Among these channels was the broadcasting signal that called for Imperial loyalists upon Dark Tide, Sixth Galactic Empire, Second Fel Empire and Remnant channels. Using these channels was a good way of keeping things secure and not allowing others to hone in upon the location of the existing Imperial Remnant faction. The General pulled up the display of the holoscreen, sitting down as the shades upon his window dimmed, allowing for the room to be illuminated by the blue glow of the holoscreen.
As Nicademus began to work, his eyes noticed something was off. Another datapad, resting towards the right end of the terminal, seemed not to be in the right place. His eyebrow went up as he reached over, placing it correctly beside the recently placed datapad which the General had brought in. Without further investigation or intent to do so, he returned his gaze to the holoscreen. The screen appeared to have details of patrol reports from all across Harnaidan which Nicademus was reviewing quietly. Unknown to him, an intruder stood but a few inches away from where he sat...

In the shadows the Darth watched as this man he didn't recognize sat at the terminal and began checking intelligence feeds. "A high ranking imperial," he thought to himself as he observed the individual. He could tell by the way the man carried himself, not to mention that he noticed a pair of bodyguards that accompanied him. He and his lackeys were not a threat as far as the Dark Lord could tell as he could sense that neither the man in front of him, nor the stormtroopers outside the door were Force-sensitive. If it came down to it, they would be easy work for the seasoned Sith. With little reason to continue hiding, Rebellious allowed his Force Stealth to slip (at least the visual aspect) as he stepped out of the darkest corner of the room into the blue holographic light that illuminated the majority of the room.
"You clearly aren't the Lord of Atrocity..."
The Sith Lord said to the imperial as he stared at him with seemingly glowing amber eyes. He paused to allow the officer to both process his sudden appearance and react accordingly. Given the situation, the Dark Lord still felt that he had the clear advantage.

Nicademus seemed rather... calm even as the Sith materialized out of nothing. However, deep down, he was somewhat surprised that he wasn't alone; that and the fact that this Sith had gotten through security so easily. Then again, he thought, the Sith had used a rather powerful technique to pass through. The General had witnessed the ability known as Force Stealth before many times; he was surrounded by Sith in the Galactic Empire, had several figures who used similar techniques presently and his mentor was a powerful Sith Lord himself.
The Imperial would pause his report reading and turn in his chair slowly, in order to give the sudden newcomer his full and undivided attention. The General remained calm and composed as he examined the Sith Lord before him. This wasn't the first shady introduction and the Imperial doubt it would be his last. The question proposed by the Sith did make Nicademus curious though.
Lord of Atrocity? Hmm... now where have I heard that before... are you speaking of Lord Sinistra?
Nicademus was aware of the organization that was the foundation of the recent Galactic Empire, a Sith group known as the Dark Tide. Sinistra had taken over the organization after the departure of their founding leader and would eventually transform the Dark Tide into the Galactic Empire that Nicademus dissolved. The only other Lords he knew of were a part of a Sith cult known as the Order of the Eye; the Four Lords of Chaos they were called.

Colonel Xaldrich made a mental note to speak with General Artemis about Cadet Davos Raim, who was attached to the 25th Legion of the Imperial 9th Army. Following this detail it was Dragoon squads prerogative to spend the next hour as they wished, be it training, or at leisure. Davos remained silent as a grey shape of an Imperial shuttle passed overhead, he used the time to communicate with Dragoon two. "Reek..." "Where the hell have you been?" Was the response, Davos chose to ignore this. "Let's just say I may have arranged us another sorte." He clicked off his comlink and returned his attention back to Xaldrich. "Thank you Sir, I shall go and make myself known to him" Davos nodded curtley, performed yet another salute then took a step back signalling the conversation was at an end, yet without looking rude. The Cadet remained until the Colonel dismissed him, then he turned and began to jog back up the hill, bringing his helmet into position over his head as he moved. Opening a channel to all squadmates he said; "Dragoons I am coming up on your tail, meet you at Beta." He took a quick glance at the chrono read out now displayed on his H.U.D. "At 16.20, Colonel Xaldrich and I had a useful conversation." As was Davos way he emphasised the word 'useful' in such a way that it was obvious that the conversation was beneficial.

The only other Lords he knew of were a part of a Sith cult known as the Order of the Eye; the Four Lords of Chaos they were called. The Imperial didn't give off the slightest hint of fear as the Sith emerged from the darkness. Rebellious' face produced the slightest grin out of pure amusement. It wasn't every day that he met a being unable to touch the Force that wasn't the affected by the sudden appearance of a vaguely-threatening intruder. However, the grin soon faded back into his usual cold, statuesque facial expression void of emotion or intent; unreadable. It was a tactical move that he exercised in most situations. If one couldn't tell whether you were about to shake their hand or stab them, then they couldn't truly prepare themselves for either gesture."So you're familiar with Sinistra? That doesn't explain why you're broadcasting on her channel."The Dark Lord said as he continued to stare down the unfamiliar man before proceeding to fold his arms across his chest, giving the impression that he was patiently waiting for an answer. It is true that he was waiting, but deep down he was slightly anxious. The channel being used was mainly used as a beacon to rally the Lord of Atrocity's allies when something big was going to happen. He showed, but rather than arriving to find his lifelong friend, he was greeted by the face of a stranger. He was curious as to how this seemingly random guy got access to the network to arguably the most powerful woman in the galaxy, so he posed a simple question that would hopefully open the lines of communication even further, and give him an idea of who and what he was dealing with."Who are you?"

Anya's eyes focused upon Nicademus after her question, taking the tally of how many had currently arrived and were Sith. However, she did not pry further into knowing them. It didn't bother her in the least about who came, provided they followed Nicademus without seeking to claim his power. After he finished speaking, she nodded before turning her gaze forward.
"I see. As you know, you don't have to worry about me having issues with them. In fact, I still don't consider myself a true Imperial Knight. If anything, it's more an honorary role that you placed me in when I arrived and none questioned that decision. I also don't think Panno would be of concern, either. He is more understanding than the rest, especially since many look down on him for not being human. Flaws of the Knights, to be sure, but be careful around the Knights as things progress. We don't know when they may say it's enough and try to remove you from power or kill you."
She turned her gaze upward to the city that floated above them before looking back to him. "I'm curious as to the reason for that. To keep them separated from the Sith as much as possible or to give them a place of their own?" Every time she spoke of the Knights, she always used them instead of us, always seeming to keep herself out of the equation when it came to the Knights.

Having met up with his squad and once the new citizens of Beta had been processed, Davos met with them in the Cadet officers mess; essentially a tent for now with a sign stating what it was. Sitting at a plastoid table with his squadmates Davos leaned in on his elbows to convey his news and how his talk with Colonel Xaldrich had gone. His retelling received shakes of heads from some and grins from others. Reek kept Davos under a scrutiny that was maintained by perpetual mild raised eyebrows. Dak was the first to speak up. "You've got some balls Davos, but one day....." He let his sentence tail off and he just shook his head before continuing. "Well I guess we have little choice...." Davos studied the members of Dragoon squadron in turn. He then shrugged. "I took this chance for all of you, for this unit, because we're the best and we deserve more than routine first grade patrol work." Davos made a definitive angry jab at the table. He let that sink in for a moment. "Oh, well don't all thnak me at once for putting my neck on the line, rest assured if this is the kind of gratitude I get." Ronto, who had remained silent until now cut Davos off with a half halting, half waving motion of his hand. "Dav, don't pretend that you didn't want this, I just don't want you to take that step too far, sure we bask in your audacity, sometimes it does you and does us credit, sometimes it opens doors. In fact, most of the time it's worked and done is favours, what I see is the squad gets dragged where your hot headedness takes us that might be for the better, but where will be if its for the worst?" These were fair comments, but did these boys growing into men have no ambition? "It was a risk, and for that I'm sorry, perhaps in future I shall be more mindful and ensure Dragoon squad don't get sucked along. Yet sometimes you've got to take those risks. I don't gamble blindly boys and have we not gone from strength to strength." The youths around the table were silent, they had been here before and most likely would come here again. Davos was a great tactician, but could let his heart run away from his head. Feelings in the squad had begun to creep inthst they were merely following behind in his greatness. That Davos wasn't always so much as leading but pulling or dragging them. The questions were, was Davos outgrowing his squad? And how long might it be before he saw them as a hindrance to what he saw as a path to glory?

It was just a matter of jumping ship or going down with her; it was obvious that the General took the latter option. The Imperial reaches over, keying the holoscreen off and allowing for the natural light to fill his office once more.My name is Nicademus Delvardus IV, Sinistra's successor as Galactic Emperor and now Grand General of what one could call an Imperial Remnant faction. The Empire began to die when Sinistra vanished. The Dark Tide disintegrated, the Empire crumbled without it's foundation... there was point in keeping a dying horse alive. So that's who I am, Sith. Now, who are you? "Darth Rebellious, Dark Lord of the Sith and former member of Dark Tide as you have probably already gathered. I would assume you've never heard of me until now. As you saw earlier, I'm very good at keeping a low profile."The Dark Lord said as he began to ponder the Imperial's word. The Dark Tide was gone, replaced by an empire and broken down into this Imperial Remnant that the general spoke of. Rises and falls of governments had taken place while the Darth had been away. It didn't surprise him. Time always seemed to slip by while he was off focusing on increasing his power in the Dark Side of the Force. He wasn't up to date on current event and he was now factionless. However, he was intrigued. Splintered empires had a funny way of coming back together usually through a lot of hard work and bloodshed. Plotting, scheming, collaborating, back-stabbing, warring. All ways of gaining and consolidating power. He knew that ultimately that's where the Remnant's path would lead, and he also knew that power was clearly up for the taking; given that one had to make the right moves. For now, though, the Sith would indulge in small talk and hopefully find a better reason for being here other than a misunderstanding."Tell me, General. Why broadcast across that channel? As you said, Sinistra is gone, but when she was here she would only use that channel when she needed to rally her allies. Usually in the case that something big was about to happen..."

"I'm curious as to the reason for that. To keep them separated from the Sith as much as possible or to give them a place of their own?" I want to give the Imperial Knights a place of their own to train and serve as a headquarters for them. This orbital city is large enough for future numbers to join the ranks of the Knights, but more than enough room to make a worthy defensive position. In a ways, it will be symbolic; the Imperial Knights are the protectors of not only this planet, but all the territories that bear the Imperial standard.Nicademus looks once more at the orbiting city before turning his gaze to Anya for a moment. His eyes remained locked upon her, reminiscing for a moment about that day they sparred together. Was anything left from that day? Or had the Imperial Knight forgotten and moved on? A tempted thought drew into his mind and, within seconds, the General declared it.Its been awhile since we sparred, Anya. What do you say to having a match with me again? I could use a good break to stretch the muscles and keep myself in shape. Desk work can cause the joints to become stiff."Tell me, General. Why broadcast across that channel? As you said, Sinistra is gone, but when she was here she would only use that channel when she needed to rally her allies. Usually in the case that something big was about to happen..." I am not only using that channel, Lord Rebellious. I am using all sorts of channels, all secure frequencies used by the Imperial Knights, the former Imperial Remnant of the Deep Core, the Second Fel Empire, the Dark Tide... all for a major purpose; to rebuild, to regroup and strengthen. As long as one views him or herself as an Imperialist and believe in that cause, they are welcomed as brothers and sisters.Nicademus turned away from the Sith, looking out at the rebuilding city of Harnaidan. Progress had been going well; most of the criminals who attempted to sabotage or bribe their way past security were dead or arrested. His Stormtroopers had become a fearful presence to those who thought of causing trouble, while viewed as liberators and saviors to the innocent. Muunilist was but the first step in the General's grand scheme. The Empire I inherited from Lord Sinistra was decaying... its foundation, the Dark Tide, was empty and a shadow of what it once was. In fact, its more appropriate to say it didn't even exist. It was built to be run by Sith, but there were no Sith to run it. I was given not only a slowly sinking ship but shoes I could not fill. So I disbanded an Empire that was more of a liability than a feared presence in the galaxy. And now I seek to create a more flexible faction, one that can involve all sorts of characters who are true Imperials; whether be force sensitive or not, Sith or Imperial, Soldier or Civilian. Muunilist shall be the beginning of my rally point, Lord Rebellious... only the beginning. That Davos wasn't always so much as leading but pulling or dragging them. The questions were, was Davos outgrowing his squad? And how long might it be before he saw them as a hindrance to what he saw as a path to glory? The Imperial Overseer of Camp Beta continued his usual routine, watching Imperial Civil Service members admit the convoy into the camp. Stormtroopers kept the crowds in a orderly fashion and ensured that none were left without an assigned location within the building. The Overseer was a grizzly looking man; a sharp chin, bald head, 5 o'clock shadow and piercing eyes. It made anyone fall in line for the most part; whether they were ICS, colonists or natives. The General had ensured the fearsome and awe-inspiring, as well as capable, led the Imperial Civil Services, keeping the organization running efficiently and without delay. It proved to be a boon to the Imperials as they slowly took over the world.
Yet, although this seemed like a regular routine, something amiss was about to happen. A Muun came running up, shoving some Stormtroopers out of the way as they protested and sought to delay him. The male rushed past some people and demanded to see the Overseer. The ICS's commanding officer walked up and spoke with the Muun. The native seemed rather angry that things were so slow, given the colonists and natives. He was once an attendant of the IGBC and demanded better treatment and room. The Overseer seemed passive and ignored half the Muun's words. Yet as time went on, the Muun became more and more angry till he drew out a laser pistol and began to aim it at the Overseer. A shot was fired, missing the Overseer by a long shot. Before the trigger could be pulled again though, two Stormtroopers popped up behind him and gunned the belligerent male down with the firepower of E-11s.
Suddenly a commotion rose up as more Muuns, hidden among their kin, began to draw their own blasters from under their cloaks and within their luggage. It seemed a IGBC-backed fanatics had blended in and were planning a takeover of Camp Beta. The guard posts soon came to life as Stormtroopers took their posts and began trading shots with the fanatics. The colonists and those innocent ran for cover; Stormtrooper squads issuing out from Camp Beta to cover the remaining convoy that weren't a part of the terrorist's plans. The Overseer withdraw with the ICS as Imperial officers took command and organized the defenses. Davos and his squad could hear the gun fire and noticed Stormtroopers rushing by their tent for the main gate.

"Well, I'll do what I can to keep my eyes and ears open should some sort of plan comes of should the Knights wish to break away or remove you from power. That way you'll be prepared should anything happen."
When he spoke of sparring again, nothing of that day flared within her mind. However, it didn't mean she didn't remember the feelings that crossed her mind. Still, she gave a slight chuckle.
"Getting pent up, are we? Perhaps we can arrange one, though I'll warn you now. I won't hold back like last time." Her eyes shifted over towards him with a slight cockiness to them though it was mostly for show.

"Only the beginning," said the General. He had confirmed what the Darth had already knew, expansion was the Imperial's ultimate goal. Most "warlords" became too comfortable ruling their small holdings, discarding the idea of growing their power past their current limits. This one, however, had vision. The Sith respected that. Anyone putting the pursuit of strength above all else walked the same path as himself, whether they following the Sith code or not. It was also apparent that Nicademus had a plan, and the means to bring that plan to fruition. Vision was a great thing, but if one didn't have what it took to reach the goal then their pursuits were in vain. Besides, if he wasn't capable, Sinistra wouldn't have elevated him. Rebellious moved to stand next to Delvardus, also looking out the window at the city below. The General had the Dark Lord's attention. He understood the man's drive and was almost inclined to help, if not just as a means to further his own goals.
"What if I offered to aid you in your pursuits?"

He understood the man's drive and was almost inclined to help, if not just as a means to further his own goals."What if I offered to aid you in your pursuits?" The General seemed a little surprised by the offer presented by Rebellious. Then again, there was a great trait of charisma, combine with a sense of ambition, that was attached to Nicademus. It helped him gain the leadership of the Imperial Remnant without any opposition. It ensured his rise to the Moff of the Deep Core and onto the throne of the Empire. It seemed to have once more caught the attention of another possible asset to his plans. Nicademus looks at Harnaidan for a moment and sighs.I have many military figures; commanders, admirals, and generals... yet I lack a major asset, an Intelligence organization to keep a record and eye on internal and external affairs. I lost such assets when the Empire crumbled sadly; none of the Imperial Intelligence agents followed me to the Imperial Sector. They all vanished. I have my public enforcers in the form of the Imperial Knights. But as the Empires before, you need plenty of enforcers; public and secretive."Well, I'll do what I can to keep my eyes and ears open should some sort of plan comes of should the Knights wish to break away or remove you from power. That way you'll be prepared should anything happen."

Her eyes shifted over towards him with a slight cockiness to them though it was mostly for show. It brought a wave of ease knowing that Nicademus could always count of Anya's loyalty to him even though he was no longer the Emperor. With the dissolution of the Empire, there was no Emperor for them to serve, yet, the Imperial Knights still followed the General to the Imperial Sector and continued to follow his orders. It was a sense of attachment, of loyalty, that kept the Knights at the service of Nicademus.
The General grins at the cockiness of Anya and turns around, keeping his eyes locked with hers.If you are gonna be this cocky and confident, then maybe we should spar now? Clearly you think you can beat me again.
