Description:
The Golan III Space Defense NovaGun (Interdictor Refit) was debuted by the First Order over the planet Byss. When repair works were being conducted on the derelict stations hanging over the planet, the First Order wanted to test out a new idea. Thus, the Interdictor Refit was born. It takes a standard Golan III and adds a pair of Gravity Well projectors, while also including an Enhanced Comms Array and Redundant Shield Generators. This created an almost impenetrable fortress which could more greatly control the flow of traffic into and out of the Byss system.
Much like a standard Golan III, It was armed with 6 turreted Dual Heavy Turbolaser Cannons, 50 turbolaser batteries, 24 proton torpedo launchers, and 15 tractor beam projectors, and had a hangar capable of holding 72 starfighters. It could also support 300 Troops.
