TIE/b BoarderShip Class: Starfighter Ship Role: Boarding operations Ship Length: 7.8 meters Agility (A): 4 Defensive (D): 2 Offensive (O): 2 Speed (S): 4 Special Gear: 1 (Boarding Equipment) Description:This TIE variant was composed of three fuselage cylinders in an arrangement nearly identical to the TIE Heavy Bomber, but lacking the ventral ordnance pod. In place of the concave solar array wings of the TIE/sa bomber, this variant was equipped with outward-canted wing panels very similar to those of the TIE/D Defender or an inverted mounting of those on the TIE/ad starfighter. Like those fighters or the TIE/IN interceptor, it had energy weapons at the tips of its wing panels, though it was only seen to use ion cannons. The port-side pods both carried two large projectile launchers which fired a unique type of boarding pod that could only carry Terror Troopers and/or Battle Droids. In total, it could fire four pod's in a salvo and could carry up to 8 pods. Operated by a single TIE pilot, the ships were hyperdrive-equipped, with sufficient range to travel from Kamino to the Itani Nebula. Their twin ion engines could keep pace with Slave I at attack speed.

Hmmm... so 8 pods in total indicate how many 'boarders' there are present for each payload.
However, perhaps it could be 4 pods? What do my other DOs think? 4 or 8?

Just a side note, I did set total ammo at 8 pods, based on one of the angled art shots making it seem like you could fit two salvo's into it. But the angle for this one does make it seem a bit shorter, so 4 pods total would also be a decent number. What do y'all think?
EDIT: looks like Nic got in before me... Also an important note, I'd say each pod probably has 4 droids per pod. Not sure if the comic these come from actually have any shots or indication of how many droids they could deploy...

Not sure if the comic these come from actually have any shots or indication of how many droids they could deploy... There is a second image in the article below that shows them being fired off. From the looks of the boarding torpedoes, I am noticing these... slots on the tipped point of the missile. Likely where the inorganic boarders come out of? If so, there are 8 slots.

I am noticing the Wookie article has one bit of info on in the characteristics and then a different bit of info in the specs box. I am not sure what we default too.

I think going with the characteristics information is the better bet, vs the info box.
