[ Princess Lyrica Starlight | The Halls of Healing | Riverswift Hall | Ossus ] Attn: Tygalt StormburnerAt his touch, Lyrica's wings fluttered slightly but frequently, as if she enjoyed the sensation. Lyrica also realized that those wings acted like a telltale of her feelings and state of mind, making her blush a little as she looked up at him from where she sat, then she set the matter aside for the moment, as she had more pressing concerns to address, such as the fact one third of the entire Aldar population on Ossus suddenly had wings. Reaching out gently with the Force told her that aside from initial shock, curiosity and even a slight eagerness to test the wings were the ever-present agenda of the newly winged Aldar.
“I need...to test something, quickly,” said Lyrica, and she rose gracefully, is a little slow and careful, “your pardon, Tygalt.”
She stepped away from the knights and everyone, and began to truly flutter her wings, the speed of the flapping increasing and intensifying, and as the wings began to beat with sufficient force, she felt herself easily lifting from the ground. It wasn't quite as graceful as she liked, instead, her body lifted and fell based on the beat of the wings, but she was flying. A moment later, she landed and sat down once more.
“Well, that answers one important question,” said Lyrica, “I believe many of my kin are learning this now, too.”

Although he did not wish to break his contact with Lyrica, he did so when asked and stayed standing back as the Princess tested out her newly sprouted wings and proved they were indeed functional. He couldn't help but wonder if his own ethereal wings could do the same. But for the moment he figured it was best not to exert himself too much. He still felt a little drained from the whole experience of a pair of wings suddenly sprouting from where no wings had been before I suspect this will make things interesting around here going forward...

[ Princess Lyrica Starlight | The Halls of Healing | Riverswift Hall | Ossus ] Attn: Tygalt Stormburner“Indeed, my good knight,” said Lyrica softly, “perhaps it is time we consulted with the lady, Sylvie.”
Lyrica's tone had turned reverent when she referred to the Lady of Spring, Silradhiel, affectionately known as Sylvie. Though even more youthful looking than Lyrica, there was a feel of timelessness to the elfin woman, who was part of the quest that eventually saw the Aldar liberated of the Sith Curse. She now resided with the Aldar, all but worshiped by the folk there for her well-known history and association with the season of Spring. Despite the reverence and awe given to her, Sylvie appeared oftentimes far more playful and disinclined towards anything serious, instead, she incited fun, games and...other activities.
The Princess looked at Tygalt and gently clasped his hand, before looking back at the Aldar knight who had come in with the news. He was rather busy staring in awe at Lyrica's wings, and the fact she had flown, albeit briefly.
“Send word amongst the others,” she said, “I would speak with our ancestor with haste.”
“Your highness,” replied the knight with agreement, and he clicked his heels once before retreating the way he had come hence.
“Come, Tygalt,” said Lyrica, “let us be on our way. And perhaps, soon, we will inform our host lords of this new development.”
The Princess could feel something at the edge of her mind, through the Bond she shared with Tygalt, but decided not to ask about it, for it seemed to tie in with Lady Silradhiel, whom she called close kinship with, being a royal. Still, it teased her mind and she couldn't help being curious, and Tygalt could feel this in the Bond, yet she remained smiling upon him as they walked out of the Halls of Healing, venturing towards the forests where their quarry lived, and where a surprising number of Sylvans had begun to take refuge.
