Cirdan’s eyes glimmered for a moment. There was no question as to why he’d be asking something like this, or even assembling a navy in the first place. Evidently, he intended to break away from the First Order. But he was not a man of politics. He was a builder of great vessels that plied the stars. Who was using them didn’t really affect his opinion, though he would always resonate with the Dith, seeing as he was one of them. The First Order would provide everything they needed. Unless they were planning something against them. He was happy the Sith’ari had asked, however. “Ah, and this is the true beauty of this ship. The Resurgent is a titan. There is no ship of its size or smaller that can take it in a head on match. However, this ship is designed to operate in “packs” if you will, hunting down enemies and destroying them in groups. So while a Resurgent would beat it in a head on match, this ship is capable of coming out of hyperspace, inflicting critical damage onto the enemy, and retreating before they even know what’s happened...”

The Resurgent-class Battlecruiser... Malvus had seen its firepower and prowess thanks to the Raid on Felucia. He knew of Lord Savage's desire to break away from the First Order, even if it meant going to war with that Empire. Unfortunately, the Sith knew that they did not have a single ship in their arsenal to take down such a warship. The Resurgent was a thing of genius and marvel. Perhaps SoroSuub's Bulmark Mark III could take it on, but it still outgunned and dated in its schematics. Imperial technology was quite something compared to the days of the Fourth Galactic Empire and the Imperial Alliance.
After Cirdan spoke, the Jen'ari spoke up as well, reinforcing what Cirdan had said.
Where the Blackguard may lack in firepower, its navy will make it for numbers and speed, Sith'ari. The Resurgent is a hard ship to match toe to toe with... even if we poured the necessary resources into such a project, the war machine of the First Order can easily outstrip us. This naval reform will focus on numbers and speed as our strengths. It will certainly be a change from the tactics of our forebears and ancestors.

A lone XS stock light freighter breaks out of hyperspace and floats over Sullust’s orbit. Mariah stared out for a moment to study the ashen planet with a critical eye. She knew what she would find when she made it into orbit, but still, she couldn’t help but wonder why the Blackguard had such a flawless record for finding these molten planets to call their home. She supposed, however, they could have chosen worse. She let out an audible groan as she sunk into the pilot’s chair, only allowing it to escape from the knowledge that no one but her would hear her distaste in these fleeting thoughts. Rather than sit here and internally complain about the Blackguard’s choice of planets to pillage, Mariah picked up the comlink.
This is the Void to Command Center. Requesting clearance to planet surface.
In her last experience, her comlink transmission was followed by a Dreadnought to shadow her ship, and a whole ordeal of waiting for scans, escorts, and a battle for her life. She sucked in a deep breath as her hand involuntarily pressed gently against her side at the thought of the battle. She flinched slightly; the wound was still tender but was healing quickly and well enough. A simple graze to her side, but a painful wound nonetheless. She hoped now, after she had proven her worth on Iridonia, they would have flagged her ship as an ally of the Blackguard, that she would have a bit of an easier time landing and going about her way. Still, she would need to keep her wits about her. She couldn't afford another battle like that in her current condition. Despite her odds and clashes with terrible luck, she needed to locate this Master Spellbinder. Not even her less-than-whole condition would stop her.

As the ship known as The Void had entered orbit of Sullust, the automated systems had run a check of the ships name against the Blackguards list of ships. Locating the ship amongst the records, its information was forwarded to the Dauntless-class Heavy Cruiser known as Skystalker. The Heavy Cruiser served as the flagship of Ifrit's fleet and handled any ship traffic allied with the Blackguard members. The Captain pulled up the profile forwarded to him, before opening a comm line back to The Void Void, this is the Skystalker. Clearance to land at Byllurun has been granted. Please follow the approach co-ordinates included to find the approach tunnel to the city. Lord Bladeweaver can be found there dealing with some political matters... A datapacket would be transmitted a few moments later with approach coordinates for one of the tunnels leading into the underground city

Copy that, Skystalker.
Just as she relayed her response, Mariah received the transmission. While she loaded the coordinates, her crimson eyes flickered back over the plant for another brief moment. Lord Bladeweaver was currently dealing with political matters. A world for those with silver tongues, a deceptive realm she typically avoided. In all her years of wandering, she had no use or patience for it. She did not envy him.
Coordinates received and loaded, she relayed back to the Skystalker. Descending towards Byllurun.
She ended the comm line, and wasting no time, she descended towards Sullust's atmosphere and followed the coordinates to the tunnel, which would lead her to this underground city.

This naval reform will focus on numbers and speed as our strengths. It will certainly be a change from the tactics of our forebears and ancestors. Still standing before Cirdan and Malvus, the Zabrak Sith'ari's eyes wander out to the looming prototype. Both Cirdan and Malvus' answers were acceptable and well within his train of thought as well. Despite being a power mongering Sith, the naval tactician within him knew that there was nothing in the new reform that would stack up directly against the Resurgent. But attacking with speed and numbers, in 'packs' as Cirdan had said, was a sound tactic. While the Resurgent was a monstrosity, it wasn't invincible. And exploiting its weaknesses was the key. Glancing over to Malvus, a smirk crossed his face."Deviating from our forebears and ancestors is necessary. While they did manage to accomplish many impressive feats, they were idiots. If we must resort to hit and run tactics and adopt new strategies to engage a superior foe, so be it. Rules of engagement and the etiquette of war are of entirely no consequence to me. If we need to fight from the shadows and exploit weaknesses, we will do so, with no remorse. If slaughtering an entire planet of defenseless civilians causes Nicademus to re-evaluate his tactics and spread out his forces differently, causing change within his usual tactics, then it was worth it. I care not for collateral damages. We are Sith. Mercy is a weakness. You both know this to be true..."Trailing off, the Sith, aided by the support of the wroshyyr wood cane, moved to the main viewport. After a few moments of silent contemplation, he turned back to Malvus and Cirdan. His eyes were ablaze with fury."When can we begin official production?"

"The prototypes have underwent their trials, and have passed them with flying colors."
In truth, a small error that caused the Exar Class to shake uncontrollably while under speed. This was the result of the internal dampeners and inertia compensators being improperly wired, a fault of some of the Sullustan workers. Cirdan hoped at some point to institute his own workers to produce the prototype vessels. The technologies were simply too delicate and revolutionary for the standard laborer to understand. His men had built the Kressh-Class and the Nihl-Class, and the level of craftsmanship, especially when compared to the Exar-Class, which had been built by SoroSuub, was evident. It was below his standard, though his technicians thoroughly went through the ship and corrected a multitude of errors in the construction following the shaking incident. The correct people would be notified in order to take care of the sub-par laborers. The current commander of the shipyards didn't really believe that Spiros' revolutionary designs would work, and as such had given him sub-par laborers to build the Exar. That commander would most likely be losing his job at some point soon. Aside from this, however, the ships were completed and ready to build.
"Pending your approval, production can begin immediately."

The Zabrak brought his right gloved hand to a chin in contemplation. These ships would certainly be beneficial to the Blackguard and the coming reform. But he also had another ship design in mind as well. Certainly not as creative as the prototypes, but a ship of Sith design that would certainly bolster their numbers. Casting a final glance at the prototype before him, the Sith reaches into the folds of his robes and procures a holo-projector."You have truly outdone yourself, Cirdan. Forward the specifications to my A.I to look over. There are a few minor modifications I must have on all of my ships. Nothing that will interfere with your handiwork, of course. Also, I have a request..."Thumbing the activation button, the holo-projector sprang to life with the image of the Dragon Ship. As the 1500 meter long ship slowly rotated before them, the Sith'ari spoke once more."How soon could you push this into production...?And a grin split the Sith's tattooed face as he awaited Cirdan's response.

Malvus looks upon the holoimage of the Dragon Ship, one of the most recent warships to be designed and utilized by the Sith. It was a tool of the resurgent rule of Darth Krayt and the Sith recalled its ability to stand up against Pellaeon-class Star Destroyers. To revive such a line, and not to mention the approval of the warships before them, the Jen'ari could sense the Imperial designs of his overlord. These warships would represent the new Dark Empire that Viox Savage was carefully weaving and forging within the darkness of space. The Sith Lord gazes upon the rotating image of the Dragon Ship before looking at Lord Savage.
I believe Lord Cirdan can get these in the production line as soon as possible, my Lord.

The Sith turned to face the Jen'ari.
"Indeed. If Lord Cirdan can get these underway as soon as possible, I will be able to execute the next phase of my grand scheme..."
While Malvus likely had his suspicions, the Sith'ari hadn't been very forthcoming with his latest motivations. Soon all would be revealed, however. Motioning to the Jen'ari and to Lord Cirdan, the Zabrak returned the holo-projector into the recesses of his cloak. Leaning heavily on the cane, he spoke once more.
"Perhaps there is somewhere we could go? It is time I let you both in on the next phase of the Blackguard's plans..."
A sinister grin broke the Zabrak's face, in spite of himself. If all went according to plan, then this would proceed smoothly. And even if it didn't, it was still going to happen. He was too far invested in this now to simply abandon his plans...

Malvus could understand what was being said to the two of them. The Sith Lord gestures to the right of them where the overseer's office towered high above, allowing the shipyard section manager to visibly see and manage everything. The Sith looks at Viox while still indicating the tower.
There is a conference room within the Overseer's Tower over there, my Lord Savage. It should serve a purpose well enough to meet and talk.
The Sith then looks to the Sith Warriors present, pointing to one of the guards.
Go ahead of us and arrange for the conference room to be made ready.
The soldier acknowledges the command and heads off in the direction of the tower.

"Very good, sir."
Cirdan looked out over the ships laid out before him. They were good, but were not his best work by far. He had far greater things envisioned for the new class modernization program that was being undertaken by the Blackguard. Projects that could inspire terror in even the most seasoned commanders in the First Order. Warships fitting for a Sith Lord.

Upon entering the conference room, the Sith'ari motioned for the other two to take a seat. Making his way to the head of the table, he spoke, seemingly to thin air.
"Rampant, are you connected?"
Within seconds of the question being asked, the ghostly avatar of the Sith'ari's A.I shimmered to life over the table.
"Yes sire. I am fully online and operational."
Inclining his head, the Zabrak then spoke once more.
"Proceed."
With a bow, the ghostly avatar of the A.I dissipated from view and was replaced by the collection of images. Diagrams, blueprints and schematics of various ships and fighters. Among them was the Mark VI Supremacy-Class Starfighter, Harrower-Class Dreadnought, Delta-Class Carrier, Keizar-Volvec Bulk Cruiser and the three newly approved prototypes. As the image cycled, showing more still, the Sith'ari spoke.
"Behold. The reformation of the Blackguard's Navy. A 'modernization' of our forces, if you will. All of our current naval forces will be replaced with these. All modified and upgraded to match and or rival the First Order's technology. While we cannot compete on the front of sheer numbers, technology-wise, we are coming to position to be able to match them, which will even the playing field. As you well know, Malvus, I have loathed the First Order for some time. And now, with recent events coming to a head, Nicademus and I are no longer seeing eye to eye. While we are not at war with them, they are no longer our allies..."
The Sith trailed off, reflecting for a few moments, opening up the floor for discussion amongst them.

The appearance of such ships was an interesting but expected, change to the modernization project underway. Though these new warships were meant to shore up the versatility and flexibility of the navy, these other models would become the mainstream vessels of the future rosters. Even Malvus utilized some of the vessels present; his own personal flotilla was comprised of eight Harrower-class Dreadnoughts and augmented with swarms of these Mark VI Supremacy models. However, the ending words was an inevitable result of the reformation and it was the conclusion of the ongoing actions of the Blackguard. Malvus continues to gaze upon the vessels as he speaks.
We should still keep our distance and not seek to antagonize the First Order, Lord Savage. The Reformation, and other necessary changes, have only just begun after all... we still have not even embarked on the full overhaul. It is merely on paper and upon holoprojectors. We have been patient thus far and we should continue on such a path. Otherwise, we will rouse a beast upon our doorstep.
Time would aid the Blackguard. Malvus owed nothing to the Imperials nor his former pupil, but he would not see the efforts done here to be wasted on anything short of a pre-emptive strike or diplomatic debacle that could end the peace between the two nations. The Blackguard still needed to evolve and grow after all.
I know we are on the cusp of your ultimate goal, Lord Savage. We should see it through before igniting the inevitable.

Cirdan had never been one for the wide world of politics. It was too complicated, not very straightforward, and involved too many rash tempers, ettiquettes, and deceptions to be of any interest to him. He simply wanted the resources to design and build the best ships possible. He didn't care who got them or what moral outcome they had. So long as they were used how they should be. Which is why he found himself gravitating towards the Sith. Not only was he one of them, they didn't concern themselves with what was the "ethical" outcome like the Jedi and Galactic Alliance, nor did they rely on sheer might like the First Order did. Unlike all these other organizations, the Blackguard knew their strengths and weaknesses, rather than fanatically committing themselves to a set of outdated ideals, or to some militaristic ideal like the First Order. And now he found himself in the midst of what had turned into a political discussion. Still, perhaps a no nonsense attitude such as his could be useful, and one never lost anything by stepping back and listening.
"Perhaps Lord Malvus is correct in saying that we should bide our time. Although I do echo the sentiment of the Sith'ari; action needs to be taken."

A smirk crossed the Zabrak's tattooed lips. Malvus, always erring on the side of caution. Useful, but foolish at this point. As if, after all he had accomplished thus far, he was simply going to throw it all away by being reckless now.
"My dear Jen'ari, you misunderstand me. As much as I dislike the First Order, I have no desire to war with them. At least not yet. It would be a frivolous waste of time and resources. No. The First Order isn't of our concern. Reforming our navy is much more pressing. Once this is underway, we'll continue onward with my vision...of bringing about the rise of an Empire of unparalleled cooperation between all dark siders. We've managed to break the archaic chains of the Sith, now it is time to implement our philosophies and but them to the test..."
The idea of an Empire never really appealed to him, however, with how successful the Blackguard had been, it was time to take it to the next level...

The Sith glances over at Lord Sav age.
I would be neglecting in my duty, as Jen'ari, if I did not speak nonetheless, Lord Savage. Whether it is your intention or not, whether its on your mind or not, I should always speak advice as your chief advisor. You are a patient visionary, this is known. But, as your appointed Jen'ari, I should still speak such words.
Malvus knew that Viox was not a man who would waste all that he had built up. However, time and time again, the great had fallen due to overconfidence and the power they assumed to have. Old Sith leadership kept the status quo and dared not try to change the rules nor teachings of the Sith. These traditionalist leaders, and their so-called Empires, rose and fell like the day and night cycle over Eriadu, ease in the ascension and ease in the downfall. Whether Lord Savage strayed from his path or not, the Jen'ari would still speak, even if Viox already intended to do exactly as he advised.
A Dark Empire, Lord Savage? At least it will be one with a foundation unlike its predecessors.

The Sith eyed Malvus for a moment, then smirked.
"Indeed, you were chosen for that very reason, Malvus. Cautious and careful, a trait almost completely unheard of within the Sith. But, we are different. As you have witnessed, we have fought and strove to rise above the ancient traditions. We are more than our predecessors. No one and nothing will take that from us. Not even Nicademus and his First Order..."
The Zabrak scowled at the mention of the self proclaimed Emperor and his ilk. Shifting topics, the Sith'ari spoke once more.
"We are strong, organized and ready to take the next step in my grand scheme...the rise of the Blackguard Imperium will be swift, silent and subtle, but it will be unlike any other organized dark side faction before. We are the vanguards of this new era..."
The Sith grinned at the duo before him. Malvus was smart. He was observant. He probably knew exactly what Viox was doing. Cirdan, on the other hand, wouldn't be so in tune with what the Sith'ari was planning, but his engineering brilliance played a huge part in the upcoming transition, especially with the revival of dozens of Sith vessels. Stemming from the Golden Age of the Sith all the way to the reconstituted Sith Empire, ships from all eras were being examined, modified to comply with today's technological standards, and were being revived at the ship yards over Sullust and Mustafar. Soon their Empire would be alive and well, flourishing under his rule...

Malvus bows his head to the Sith'ari as an acknowledgement.
We will need to consider reorganizing the infrastructure of this future nation, Lord Savage. After all, there is a rising element within our ranks of the Dark Jedi and Dark Side Adepts. We are no longer as Sith as we started out and we should look for the means to include them within our structure.
After all, there was no Dark Imperium if it was just the Sith ruling and administrating this nation.

Speaking quickly to the two men before him, he continues to explain his plans.
"The Blackguard Imperium is the result of our consolidation of power and authority within the galaxy. While I intend to restructure the necessary elements of the Imperium to accommodate those who are not Sith, those that follow their own philosophies will retain their autonomy. If Dark Jedi join us, they will operate as one with us when the time calls for it, otherwise they are free to do their own thing. Provided they do not test my patience or go against what we have strove to accomplish here, I see no reason to reign them in any further than that. If nothing else, it adds another element to oppose the First Order and throw the Jedi even more off balance."
Taking a moment to look at both Malvus and Ciridan for a few moments, the Sith spoke once more.
"You both will be working much more...closely with me in the future..."
A small smirk pulled at the corners of his mouth as he let that statement sink. Malvus may not be too bothered by it, but Ciridan might take issue to having a Sith, specifically himself, overseeing him a lot more closely. Regardless, it needed to be done. In order to successfully retain the power and responsibility that the Blackguard Imperium was going to bring, he needed his top people as close to him as he could get them.
