In one of the largest docks of the SoroSuub shipyards above Sullust, construction began on a new R&D project created by the now CEO, Ammon Steele. The design was unlike anything seen before, at least as far as usual SoroSuub designs were concerned. Instead of creating a war ship with seemingly extravagant luxuries, this new capital ship had been designed to be driven into the heart of an enemy. At which point anything within range would be turned into floating heaps of wreckage.
But before any of that was possible. Workers were dispatched to various stations to begin moving material around and start construction upon the frame and reactor

Construction continued upon the behemoth of a ship, with workers piecing the reactor together and setting in pieces of the giant frame. Once the reactor was completed, it was moved from within a large construction bay out into the void of space. There, workers carefully guided it into place within the frame work to secure into place

Speaking quickly to the two men before him, he continues to explain his plans."The Blackguard Imperium is the result of our consolidation of power and authority within the galaxy. While I intend to restructure the necessary elements of the Imperium to accommodate those who are not Sith, those that follow their own philosophies will retain their autonomy. If Dark Jedi join us, they will operate as one with us when the time calls for it, otherwise they are free to do their own thing. Provided they do not test my patience or go against what we have strove to accomplish here, I see no reason to reign them in any further than that. If nothing else, it adds another element to oppose the First Order and throw the Jedi even more off balance."Taking a moment to look at both Malvus and Ciridan for a few moments, the Sith spoke once more."You both will be working much more...closely with me in the future..."A small smirk pulled at the corners of his mouth as he let that statement sink. Malvus may not be too bothered by it, but Ciridan might take issue to having a Sith, specifically himself, overseeing him a lot more closely. Regardless, it needed to be done. In order to successfully retain the power and responsibility that the Blackguard Imperium was going to bring, he needed his top people as close to him as he could get them. "I look forward to it." Quite frankly, Cirdan did not care much who he was working with, he only wished to design his ships and see them used to their full potential. He had no qualms with either the Galactic Alliance or the Jedi, but they would not use his vessels as intended, instead holding back in the name of "peace" and "preserving innocents". Warships were inherently almost a form of art, and deserved to be treated as such, not as some clumsy beast that needed to be restrained. No, they were like a trained hound who did best to be let go and allowed to fight at its own discretion. A lesser being who believed in "souls" and whatnot might believe that he thought warships to have souls, though he didn't truly think as much. He just saw there was some poetic beauty in a masterfully forged piece of engineering genius being used as it was intended. Would a civil engineer be happy if his bridge was used as a home? Naturally. And so, he reasoned, the same could be applied to his creations.

As work continued on the massive project, more and more of the Phaedra's unique hull design came into being. Armour plating was being welded into place, cable runs were being laid, and the first of the weapon emplacements were being constructed. More and more workers were being funneled into the project as the initial stages allowed for a larger work area

Construction on the Phaedra was progressing well as the behemoth took more and more shape in orbit just outside the main construction dock. As the peak construction was hit, a number of lesser needed resources were reassigned to a new project. Among Ammon's new line of ships was a recreation of the old Sith Infiltrator that had been re-imagined as the Dark Jedi Infiltrator. But unlike the Phaedra, the new Infiltrator had been made at the specific request of Ifrit Bladeweaver

A silent tear in the fabric opened in the hyperspace lanes outside of Sullust orbit. A small fighter emerged from the tear in space and hung above SoroSuub Shipyards.Vasari sat in the cockpit fiddling with switches still powering down the hyperdrive and resetting the Nav-computer before attempting to open communication lines with the planet. Unsure of frequency or channel she broadcasted first on the channel the Blackguard used on Mustafar, thinking she would get lucky.
Attention Shipyard Control...
She paused for a moment looking at the open comm channels wondering if it had a call sign like 'Jump Zero' on Mustafar - not finding one within a few moments continued with her message, knowing they would identify themselves when... if they replied.
Tell your Master... Vasari Nightshade of the Blackguard calls upon him, and expects his hospitality.
Vasari smirked a little, knowing that would rile up anyone that received the message, but that Ifrit would get a little chuckle out of it when he heard the message relayed to him. Not knowing how long she would wait she reached down beside the cockpit chair and pulled a dark leather bound book from its place stashed there and began flipping through the pages idly skimming words that she had read perhaps a thousand times, but reread simply to be sure she did not miss any small detail. It was impossible of course, she knew every word of this book cover to cover but still, the act of reading it soothed her while she waited muttering softly to herself...
"I hate space... I hate flying... I hate space... I hate flying..."

The moment the fighter exited hyperspace and entered sensor range of the SoroSuub Shipyards, the automated tracking system began to monitor the vessel as it moved through orbit. It wasn't until the broadcast message was picked up, that an agent was contacted and the Fighter brought to the attention of a person. The Operator reviewed the scan readouts on the ship, before the message from Vasari Nightshade was played. Talking about expecting hospitality from his Master. Inputting keywords from her broadcast caused a system alert to be generatedUhh... sir... I got an alert here...The man's Supervisor came over to review the alert. Putting in his credentials, the message converted over to a set of instructions advising Orbital Control to contact Lord Bladeweaver and grant the Lady Nightshade permission to land. A datapacket with co-ordinates was primed up then. The Supervisor took a deep gulp, knowing that those who unnecessarily interrupted Lord Bladeweaver did not last long. He took a seat thenLady Nightshade, you have been cleared to land. Co-ordinates are being sent for your meet with Lord Bladeweaver...The encrypted datapacket was transferred over to the ship then, providing Vasari with an approach path down to the surface and the hidden temple which Ifrit had constructed down upon there in an underground chamber which could only be accessed from a hidden tunnel which was nestled within a chasm of rock. The message then disappeared from the Orbital Control system, allowing the Supervisor and the Operator to resume their work. Meanwhile, Vasari's message was forwarded down to Ifrit

Vasari looked up from her book when the ship's comm system notified her of an incoming transmission. There were two parts, a data-file which the fighters computer automatically downloaded to the nav-system, and a voice message which began playing almost as soon as she closed the book. She was being given permission to land. She nodded almost casually not bothering to reply to Ifrit's peons and set her hands on the controls powering her sub-light thrusters and descending upon the planet.
"Hate flying... hate flying..."
She repeated under her breath like a mantra as the small ship broke into the upper atmosphere. The cold of space vanished and even though the ships shields and dampeners eliminated most of the turbulence from the reentry process, Vasari could feel every shake, bump, and jostling motion of the ship as her tattooed fingers gripped tightly at the yolk. No one had ever traditionally taught her to fly... she had learned what she knew from books, and had only flown on a handful of occasions - she hated everything about it, and that was the only thing in her mind as the small ship plummeted at breakneck speed towards the planet below...

SororSuub Shipyards
The Stormrager rose up into orbit and set course straight for the SoroSuub Shipyards. Despite his physical blindness, Ifrit was more than capable of using the Force to see and pilot the ship. Leaving Vasari to relax and not have to interact with any controls. Something he had a suspicion would have left the Dark Jedi Infiltrator in a similar state of disrepair to that of the vessel within which Vasari had arrived to Sullust in. To that end, the Stormrager took only a few moments to traverse the distance through the void of space and landed in one of the private VIP marked hangar bays.
Ifrit turned his seat around and moved away from the controls, his gaze falling upon the Zabrakian beauty. Truthfully he had something of a hard time taking his attention away from her We've arrived... Are you prepared?

Vasari's calm nature had remained in place the entire time - right up until she boarded the Stormrager and he had lifted off taking her up to the shipyards. Her body was tense, her eyes were shifting this way and that and she was muttering constantly under her breath something about Flying and Droids until they were landed safely in the station's hanger bay. She fumbled with her restraints that held her firm and perhaps too tightly to the chair and ignored Ifrit all together until she was out of the craft and firmly on the ground - it didn't seem to matter or even register to her that she was just on a slightly larger vessel, and while she remained on edge and detached, her arms crossed tightly around her chest keeping the journal and her cloak wrapped tightly around her.
"I'm ready..."
She whispered - not entirely sure of herself right now. She had never felt comfortable in space. The Void was just that... a void. It lacked the living force that she had been so connected to her entire life. There was nothing out there. At least here she could sense Ifrit, the other lifeforms on the station, the biomaterial that made the station run properly, the fuel and the food, It wasn't much and it left her unease, but it was better than the Ship, surrounded by nothingness. It was her greatest fear that she had never admitted to anyone, dying alone in the cold darkness of space. She steeled herself and spoke again, more sure, more firmly.
"I'm Ready. Lets go..."

Ifrit shifted out of the way as Vasari removed herself from the seat restraints and rushed out of The Stormrager. His strong long strides allowed him to keep pace with the Zabrak. He had noticed from the moment they had lifted off that something had changed about her. He was not entirely sure why she had been - and still was - so on edge. There were only so many possibilities, some more far fetched than others. The simplest was that Vasari did not much like flying. The wreckage in the underground cavern was certainly testament to some disconnect between Vasari and flying. But even now that they were landed, she seemed far from the same sense of ease she had felt down on the surface.
He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow doubtfully when she whispered that she was ready. He walked up to her side from behind and placed a hand upon her shoulder, giving it a firm squeeze through the cloak. Something had unnerved her. But whatever it was, there would be time to delve into it later. For now, he would keep her focused upon the task at handVery well, this way...Ifrit guided her forward then, keeping close by her side as they crossed the hangar bay and traversed the hallways of the station to an observation room which overlooked one of the construction bays. Workers were already busy moving storage crates out while also carting in necessary equipment needed for the build. Standing in front of the transparisteel window overseeing the operation was the CEO of SoroSuub himself, Ammon Steele. The Thyrsian male had proved himself a capable ally and confidant ever since his ascension to CEO. When the message had come through of The Fallen's impending visit and need to make use of the yards, Ammon had blocked out time in his schedule to see to this matter personally. Forges were already being heated and material procured based on the list Ifrit had sent ahead.
Ifrit guided Vasari over to the window as Ammon turned and gave them a bowMy Lord and Lady... It's a pleasure to welcome you both to SoroSuub. Per your orders, this bay has been set aside for your private use, and the materials are being prepared. You can use that console over there to input the design you intend to have built...Thank you Ammon... That will be all for now.Very well, you have my comm if you need me...Ammon took his leave of the observation room then. Leaving Ifrit and Vasari alone looking out the window with the console nearbyI know we've come this far already, but you and ships don't exactly seem to... mesh well. Are you sure about this?

Vasari followed Ifrit across the hanger keeping beside him at all times her steps in time with his own her instincts guiding her on the turns he would take as the exited the hanger they had landed in and moved through several corridors until they reached what she could only imagine was control booth for one of the hanger assembly yards. She hadn't seen anything to this scale before, she knew that there were several production yards within Blackguard controlled space but she had never been to one of them before, places like this terrified her on a normal basis and while she wasn't afraid to face that fear she had of being so separated and cut off from the living force, she didn't have a need to be within one, until now.
She gave the CEO a brief nod, and a polite smile, not wishing to irritate anyone - she was after all, simply a guest here... at least for the time being. When Steele motioned to the control panel she wasted no time moving towards it and pulling out her notebook , in fact she had already set her fingers to the keyboard and began entering requests for raw materials and shaping out the sphere's dimensions even before the tall dark skinned Thyrsian had left."I had originally planned on a Havod shell for the sphere, but upon further study I discovered that Matrix Armor would actually interface better with the systems I wish to upgrade on the original design." It didn't take her long to finish entering her design into the computer terminal, her fingers flying over the keys as she used input every detail she had painstakingly researched over the last several months prior to her mission to Dathomir. Soon enough she had created a complete technical schema of the new and improved Meditation Sphere and with a flick of her wrist and a quick key stroke she activated the holoscanner and it appeared before them projected from the command console. The computer systems were not the same as the ones she had gotten used to, but she had adapted quickly enough. Technology just sort of made sense to her, though she had never really looked into learning it. "What do you think?"

Ifrit was unsurprised as Vasari ignored his comment entirely and set to work, busying herself with working on the Meditation Sphere she wanted to create. He stood behind her with his arms crossed, while his omniscient gaze took in Vasari and the console she was working at. As the orders for the raw materials came in, workers set about collecting the various required items, technicians meanwhile got to work on assembling the various sub systems as Vasari built them into her technical schema. Ifrit just smiled, amused by how in her own element the Zabrak woman seemed. Talking aloud about decisions she had made, before finally completing the diagram and pushing it to the holodisplay.
He took a couple steps back as the projectors lit up and the Meditation Sphere appeared where he had been previously standing. He reached out a hand and examined the display, twisting and turning it this way and that. It was quite an impressive piece, all the more impressive given the sub systems that revealed themselves as Ifrit manipulated the display to reveal the layers underneath and turn the vessel into something of an exploded view. Ifrit finally collapsed it back again, as his examination was over Quite impressive. It's definitely an improvement upon the much older design to be sure... I see you do intend to remove any ability to manually pilot it... Certainly a wise decision, all things considered... The Matrix Armour was a good choice...

"This is going to be the hardest part..."
Vasari focused on a point in the holodisplay and keyed in a command on the keypad and the hologram zoomed into the section she was talking about. The visual display also turned into a technical readout of the system she had mentioned and it seemed like a central computing core, but it was unlike anything in any of Sorosuubs computers. She had designed the system herself and it had taken her many weeks of research and many days of testing before she got to a point where it would work, in theory...
"The computer has to the cross compatible with the presence of the spirit that we're gunna put within the Sphere... I've never seen anything like this before, because the computer has to be run by the pilot, and so must control the main systems of the ship, but also has to be able to be controlled by the spirit."
She opened another file that contained the code she had written for the ships computer, most of it was normal stuff but there was a main section of code in the middle that was written in an ancient Sith script that she had written down in her journal. And while the hologram was lit blue the writing seemed to glow red.
"Combining Sorcery with Technology is not necessarily beyond me... but to this level..."She gestured towards the hologram and looked at Ifrit meaningfully."I'm going to need your help."

Ifrit walked around the projection, placing himself behind Vasari as she changed the holodisplay to focus in upon one system which was undoubtedly custom made. It was quite the amalgamation of sorcery and technology. Some of the materials and parts SoroSuub had. But other elements within the core would require some alchemical assistance to produce. Nothing overly taxing. But he knew that was only because the next piece of information would prove the most challenging and draining. The code written in basic spoke of control systems meant for flying a ship and affecting the hundreds of different systems needed to make the vessel fly through the void and traverse hyperspace. The Ancient Sith Script spoke of binding spells, interfaces with control systems, and safeguards needed to ensure the ship did as it was bade to do by its master Indeed... I'd suggest strengthening some of these binding enchantments on the core and within this code. The spirit we place within this vessel will not endure imprisonment lightly. Much like the Demon within me, it will seek to escape and use any shortfall in your defences to do so. We'll have to ensure everything is ready, as we'll have only one shot at it... But it is doable... Ifrit marked on the code and the core holodisplay all the changes that would need to be made. It was quite the challenge, but he was more than up for the task. He had combined science and magic before, although never anything to this scale before. But he could not imagine it would be all that more difficult than what he had done before

Vasari watched Ifrit skirt around her and view the projected version of her plans from behind her. As he gave his opinion on what he saw she took a half step back and pressed herself against him in a gentle but not at all subtle fashion. She agreed in part with what he spoke of, the bindings did need to be enhanced but there was a problem with his interpretation of the spirit was not as she intended. Her eyebrows furrowed and she took a step away from him pressing a keys in quick succession and then pointing towards the screen.
"No, you see... i dont plan on capturing the spirit. At least that is not going to be its version of events... I plan on saving it. It might not like being held in the vessel as it is... but its failure to see another option other than obliteration is what im hoping on. ... if such a thing is possible?"
She looked at him for any sign of a reaction, truth be known this was the one part of her plan that she had the least knowledge of. Her research had always led her to believe the meditation spheres of the past were built with brute force, the power of the creator trapping the creature into a subserviently roll for the rest of time. the problem being that the full will of the creator was always necessary to be assured that the sphere would do as commanded in every situation. She didn't want to constantly have to divide her mind to see to the workings of the ship in case the ship turned against her at a pivotal moment in a fight, or even worse... dropped her out of lightspeed into a moon or a star. She wasn't sure if what she was planning was possible. But she wasn't the type to lead through brute force, or terror, or fear. She looked up at Ifrit, knowing full well how he would deal with the situation having seen the inner most workings of his mind. But even he wasn't in full control of that, a fact she knew all too well.

As she pressed back into him, his face shifted down toward her while his hands came to rest on her shoulders. He inhaled her scent, bringing back memories of the night before. However, he was snapped out of his reverie as she took a step away from him and explained her plan for not capturing a spirit, but convincing it to join her by saving it. His right eyebrow raised in a physical gesture, before it lowered again and he let out a laugh Ha! Of course that would be your path... He smiled and brought his hands to rest on her shoulders once more, gently gripping them. The Sith were a deranged and power hunger breed. But Vasari was nothing like them I can not claim to know all there is, but... There is nothing that leads me to believe it would be impossible. In fact... Hmmm... Yes, I might have an idea... Tell me, what do you know about Zonama Sekot?

Vasari shifted, perhaps a little provocatively under his touch, and even went so far as to press her butt back up against him again while she tilted her head downward and tried to recall if she had read that name before. It took her much longer than it would have a year prior... but she recalled a passage from a book that she had read that was supposedly authored by someone from the unknown regions of space.
"I believe it was believed to be the Planet of Origin for the Far Outsiders...?
She shrugged a little not being able to recall anything else of note about the creature. The book she had read was little more than a primer on Chiss Military tactics and a brief explanation of the Expansionary Defense force during one war or another they had fought. She tilted her head back up towards Ifrit looking for more of an explanation as to why he brought up this particular world.

Ifrit's slid his right hand down her side and lightly gripped her hip as her butt pressed back against him. His face remained angled down toward her, the green glowing eyes meeting her own as she looked back up toward him for further information. He leaned his face down further and gave her a quick peck on the forehead A common misconception... Zonama Sekot was a seed produced by their original home world, and the Yuuzhan Vong, the Far Outsiders, did use Sekot as a home world during their invasion. However, Zonama Sekot and Yuuzhan'tar did have something else in common which is far more pertinent... Both worlds were sentient just like you or I... Sekot is not unique in this feature. A handful of planets exist that also have what we might call... world souls. Unlike Sekot, they do not all have hyperdrives. Meaning at least one of them will need... saving... It was quite genius really. It would provide a spirit in need of rescuing that would be indebted to Vasari and want to work to help her. It would also provide a soul so full of life energy, that she would not be surrounded by the void when flying. And while Ifrit had not met any sentient worlds himself, he suspected one would be willing enough when faced with its own impending destruction and death at the hands of a nearby star

The Zabrak's body stiffened a bit under his touch, but it wasn't his touch that caused it, the chill that went through her body was a more distant feeling, something she couldn't explain but caused her very blood to chill. She tilted her head a little attempting to follow that feeling along the currents of the living force. The distraction didn't last for very long however, the explanation that Ifrit gave pulled her attention back to the moment.
"Heh... Saving"
She whispered softly stepping away from him for a moment to turn and look at him leaning against the holodisplay board behind her. The idea was a very good one, and it made her not regret coming to him for help in this regard - it was exactly what she was expecting - exactly what she wanted and needed from him.
"How exactly are we going to accomplish this?"
She crossed her arms over her breasts and looked up at him with a questioning glance. She had a few ideas of course, its not like this would have been the first time she had considered what it would take to blow up a planet. But to do so in a fashion that would prevent the planets consciousness from being aware that she was doing it threw a bit of a wrench in their plans, and made the typical ideas difficult at best. Her mind started working through secondary and tertiary ideas while waiting for Ifrit's response. They had a few weeks at least before the actual factory work was done on the sphere - it left them plenty of time to answer this question and iron out the details.
