Freedon-class Star Pyramid
Ship Class: Heavy Star Destroyer
Ship Role: City-Ship
Ship Length: 4,000 meters
Agility (A): 1
Defensive (D): 5
Offensive (O): 2
Speed (S): 1
Special Gear: 5 (Redundant Shield Generators, Self-Destruct Mechanism, Advanced Jammer Suite, Enhanced Communications Array, Troop Space)
Description:
Named after an individual of immense knowledge and whose actions shaped both the galaxy and the Sith, these floating tetrahedrons are mirrored after the many Sith temples of old that once dotted the stars of the galaxy. An armored hive built to act as a mobilized means of training adherents of the Dark Side, dedicated to expanding the influence of the Conclave through any means necessary, and bringing forth legions of Orzi warriors to unsuspecting worlds. Armed temples, floating monstrosities, and twisted constructs that would bring a fear, greater than that of the Imperial Star Destroyer. Due to the rarity of these vessels, these ships are solely reserved for the Hierarch, the Praetors of the Conclave, and individuals of a special rank (such as the Lord Inquisitor).
Its interior is an organized mess of inner temples, sanctuaries, and similar facilities. Commanded by an elite group of Sith Lords, dedicated to the maintenance of the vessel and overseeing those who dwell within, that serve one or another of the Conclave's leadership. Their typical duties involve the many functions that these pyramids serve to the Conclave, namely in ensuring that the vessel is properly utilized and positioned. They ensure the education of Dark Side potentials with their countless training facilities, hone the skills of their Orzi warriors, and explore the mysteries of the Force from hidden places, among the stars. When the call to battle is raised, these pyramids converge upon their targets and shower innocent worlds with hordes of starfighters, Orzi, and fanatics of the Fanged God. Thus they serve the purpose of advancement and terror, two powerful ideals of the Conclave's principles.
These are more defensive than offensive, but can still pack a punch. These vessels have an armament that includes 210 twin laser turrets, 420 laser cannons, 210 twin ion turrets, 30 tractor beam projectors, and 90 concussion missile tubes. All of which are distributed equally along its three faces. This arsenal is meant to fend off attempts to board from shuttles and pods, pepper oncoming starfighter squadrons, and capture the ships of their victims. As a result, these pyramids do require escorts from more heavily armed ships. However, its impressive shielding ensures it isn't a floating target. In terms of complement, it can carry 96 starfighters, and a contingent of 10,000 troops, equaling to be one legions worth of Orzi warriors alongside their auxiliary troops (both organic and inorganic). These ground forces can be augmented by armored reinforcements if the situation requires them.
