CC-7700 FrigateShip Class: Corvette Ship Role: Frigate/Interdiction Vessel Ship Length: 180 meters Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 3 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 1 (Gravity Well Projector) Description:The CC-7700 frigate was an older warship from the CC-series used in the Galactic Civil War. The warship was based on its predecessor, the Detainer CC-2200 interdictor cruiser. A product of the Corellian Engineering Corporation, it was described as an "older sibling" of the Corellian gunship. The CC-7700 was designed to serve as a platform for a single gravity well projector, and was armed with eight light turbolasers, twenty-four laser cannons, and a pair of tractor beam projectors. The ship had a brig. CC-7700s were present at the Battle of Mindor in 5 ABY. Shortly after the Black Fleet Crisis, General Garm Bel Iblis used a pair of CC-7700 frigates in an attempt to capture Admiral Daala. Daala was able to escape after desperately ramming her flagship, Scylla, into one of the frigates. However, this action severely damaged Scylla's navigational systems, and Daala's jump into hyperspace was a blind one. As of 44 ABY, at least one such frigate, the Fireborn, was part of the Galactic Alliance Navy. It was destroyed in an act of sabotage.

I will need Nic's thoughts. That feels very small for this ship type, to me.

Out of curiosity, is it because of the gravity well projector? If so, another canon example of a ship this size having one is the Agave-class Picket Ship. It’s only ten meters larger has the option for it to be there.

That is a part, but i would say that those ships are very different in function The Agave is supposed to kind of hind out providing an gravity well, and leave if under threat. So smaller and works. the CC-7700 is supposed to be a fighting ship that can kill the bad guys its self. Its wookie reads like a true frigate in my opinion.

The main issue here is that SW never officially made good details for these vessels. HoloNet seems... decent compared to other websites that blow the proportions out of the water. Another website, Galactic Voyage, which I have used before, puts its just under 500 meters. However, Verlac has presented a good reference that shows that even small ships can have gravity well projectors. Another vessel I found, of similar size to Galactic Voyage, a modified Strike Cruiser, gives a 450 meter vessel 4 gravity well projectors. So it is safe to say that the CC vessel can be under 200 meters and safely have two of them in my views.

I would agree, if it was only an Introdictor and not a capable warship, I feel it is talked about like it is. That is my hesitation

I somewhat disagree that it is talked about like it is a capable warship in the wookiee page. A direct quote stated:
This to me lends enough evidence to it just being an interdictor. I think the size is fine.
APPROVED.
