Beta-class ETR-3 Escort TransportShip Class: Support Ship Role: Transport/Convoy Escort/Boarding Craft Ship Length: 45 meters Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 5 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 1 (Passenger Capacity) Description:The Beta-class ETR-3 escort transport was a medium-sized troop transport vessel produced by Telgorn Corporation. Well-armed for its size, its four turbolasers and pair of dual proton-torpedo launchers made it a formidable adversary for a lone starfighter. Furthermore, its pair of laser cannons and two ion cannons made it capable of assaulting or capturing capital ships and space stations. Although not as swift as a starfighter, its top speed was comparable with all but the highest-performance cargo and troop transports. Despite being more than twice as large, with all these features—especially the evasive capabilities—ETR-3s were reminiscent of the Clone Wars–era LAAT/i. COuld transport forty troops and a squad of speeder bikes.

Still a support class. Also based on the description, I wonder if the Agility state should be a 3 as well.

I would like other's thought on that as well. I don't feel this is a system busting ship. So there is conversation to be had

Its a decent boarding vessel, given its armament. Most other boarding tech, that is similar, would not have ion cannons nor proton torpedoes. We'd be talking gunships, boarding pods, and such. This is like a... super boarding vessel compared to a LAAT or CIS droid gunship which are comparable as boarding craft. It definitely has the armament to bust a hole in a ship to get through, but it isn't the jack of all trades.

So what are you thinking Nic for point distribution?

Hmmm... I feel like the Speed and Agility should be two, based off of this reference: However, given that the LAAT/i doesn't have a submission, hard to guesstimate this. But given that the LAAT/is weren't known for agility, I'd say 2 and 2 for both of the above mentioned categories. Otherwise, given it's armament, a 5 for sure. It's defensive capabilities aren't mentioned, but 3 is fine as a default. Thoughts? Standash Thul and @asichi

Well, having a look at Wookieepedia has an X-wing is listed as 100 MGLT, while a Beta-class is listed as 70 MGLT. According to the Wookiee page for MGLT, the Falcon is about 75 MGLT, and with the YT-1300 being a 3... this seems like it'd sit at a 3 for speed. Agility wise? yeah, a drop down to a 2 would seem a bit more likely. That said, in terms of offensive, I'd honestly say it's a 3 quite honestly. A pair of Laser Cannons and Ion Cannons are not that strong.

Zion Morviael [RETIRED] you may have missed the four turbolasers and two dual proton torpedo launchers, which is why it’s labeled a 5. I’ll drop the agility down and will wait for a consensus on the speed.

I am agreed on the speed suggestion.
Also, exactly what Verlac said, Zion. You missed some armaments that does make it a 5, given the size of this ship.

But given that its "class" here encompasses more than landers, i think it works. Approved
