A larger transport dropped out of hyperspace and took up orbit. From within Odi moved to the cock pit and looked down at the planet.
"Ten years could of passed and it would still feel like it was yesterday. Bring us down within the Dune Sea. I don't expect us to be long, but then again I don't expect us to survive either."
He moved back within the transport and grabbed his gear, throwing his phrik plate carrier over his head to rest on his body, then grabbed his equipment carrier and clipped it into place. Looking over at his men, no one spoke a word but all were getting ready. There was nothing in the air of fear or anxiety, these men were stone cold to the letter. Grabbing his modified WESTAR-M5 rifle, Odi took his seat and nodded at his men as he grabbed his famous ball cap and put it on his head.
The transport banked and headed towards the planet, making it's way into the outland near the Dune Sea.

The small shuttle's engines sputtered as Xyras tried to get the ship to bank just right for meeting that atmosphere. It vibrated so much she thought her teeth would fall out of her skull. Using all she had left, she guided the crumbling shuttle down and hopefully out of sight. Leaving behind a trail of thick smoke, the small shuttle seemed to be fighting against its driver.

Out of hyperspace appeared a Nune-class Imperial Shuttle. Aboard the small craft was a piloting crew, ten Stormtroopers and an aide sent by Nicademus Delvardus to pick up a certain Vallen von Horica from the planet of Tatooine. The aide, the known bodyguard of Nicademus, a figure in slick and agile armor approaches the viewport. The visor gazing down at the desert world of Tatooine. He nods to the pilot who turns on a transmission.
Key the beacon, same frequency as the Head of State's transmitter. It should be picked up by the one we came to retrieve from Mos Espa.

An image appeared on the holocom. It was a call sent from the same frequency as Nicademus' com, though it was not him that appear on Vallen's holocom.
Who are you, and how did you get this frequency?

It is good to see that there is another of the Horica family that still lives strong. We have become a shadow once more, but patience will ensure our rise again.
The image of a faceless man, whose head was covered in a silver helmet gazed back at Vallen. After a few moments, a click was heard as the helmet was removed. The face staring back at Vallen was his stepfather, Valstrol Horica. The former Emperor of the Horica Sovereign Empire and, for awhile, believed to have disappeared or died during the civil wars that racked the former capital of Alzoc III after the Horica Empire's demise. The Sith gazed upon Vallen for a moment before speaking.
Only a few, including those of our dynasty, know of this frequency, Vallen. It is, after all, a former frequency used by the Horica Sovereign Empire. Send your coordinates and this transport will retrieve you.

A sly grin broke across Vallen's stalwart face. So, the Emperor lived. This was a unexpected turn of events. Vallen was lost in the wars, himself. After a severe explosion, Vallen was knocked into a coma. After he awoke, some mysterious figure had taken his body and purified the Sith Alchemy from his genes, though with some side effects. Albinism now effected his body, as well as blindness, and until recently, amnesia. Now that he had regained his memory, Vallen was headed to join his family once more. Vallen transmitted his coordinates. They were for a small cantina in Mos Espa.

With the coordinates set, the transmission ended and the shuttle maneuvered towards Mos Espa to collect what it came for.

*Carver brought the freighter from the planets surface into its gravity well. Powering the engines down, he let the ship drift in orbit for a few minutes. Below them was the various hues of browns and reds the colored the planets surface.*
"Something else isn't it? Probably never thought you'd see your home like this?"

Three Ardent-class Fast Frigates exited hyperspace above Tatooine and settled into a high orbit. The shields of the pirate vessels were fully powered and their weapons lingered at half power, ready to strike back at a moments notice. Each of the frigates launched three X-83 fighter craft that patrolled around the small flotilla to screen the ships. The pirates had a vested interest in Tatooine and the ships were here to dominate the orbital traffic that was mostly small merchant and Hutt ships.

Watching the color of blue fade away and into a night sky filled with more stars then Zeeb had ever saw! Tatooine drifted into view, she stared in awe. It was when Carver asked her the question did she realized she had been holding her breath, and her hands where cramping on the arm rests. Taking a deep breath and releasing her hold, she tried to answer. " Its.....Its... " She stopped, thinking of words that could explain the beauty but she came up short. Trying again. " Its amazing...No, I've never thought I'd see it like this...Its ...Breathtaking." She said quietly, afraid that she might ruin its magnificence. Swallowing down the lump that formed in her throat, she felt better and her smile returned.

*Carver let out a low chuckle.* "Yeah, it really is something to see a planet from orbit for the first time." *He turned back to the ships controls and began tp punch in some coordinates.* "In case you were wondering where we were going. We're heading to Nar Shaddaa, the place I was born. That's where we set up our most recent base of operations. There you will begin your training." *With the coordinates punched in and the hyperdrive ready, Carver will the ship from real space to hyperspace. Beginning the next leg of their journey.*

From the surface a Delaya-class Courier broke through Tatooine's atmosphere, entering Orbit around the planet. Cassel flipped more switches, which as soon as he turned his head to flip some more, unswitched on their own. He looked to Sephar, hitting a button on a console. The button blinked off immediately, and the one directly next to it lit up on instead.
"You can hail your ship over the comm system. Already set up a channel. Just put in the ship and the computer should take care of the rest.
Cassel dipped his hat over his eyes and propped his short legs up on the dashboard and almost immediately fell asleep. R2-Z4 whirred again.

Sephar punched in everything that was necessary to contact his ship. Then he sat back and started hailing it.
"This is Sephar hailing The Lark, please come in. This is Sephar hailing The Lark, please come in."
There was a short pause before the voice of a droid could distinctively be heard over the comm.
= We hear you. Sephar...It's been so long! How's it going? =
"It's Sir to you. We don't want you to be disassembled again do we? I request to dock. We are in a Delaya-class Courier, prepare hanger bay A1. That is all. See you on board, Sephar out."
Once having hailed his ship, Sephar tried to wake up Cassel. Seeing that this was not working, he tried a different method. This was more successful. It was very difficult staying awake when someone was slapping you in the face, however gently it was being done.
"Wake up Cassel, we are to dock at The Lark with in the hour. No time to waste sleeping!"

Cassel snored a few more moments before waking up. He looked to Sephar with a smile, unaware of the slapping that had taken place.
"I wasn't sleeping, silly. I was resting my eyes and exercising my vocal chords. Ancient secret of my people. Keeps our voices from going out."
The Courier slowly made it way into the hangar of Sephar's ship. Cassel's jaw dropped at the size.
"I've seen bigger."

"Well she certainly isn't the biggest bird, "He said looking arround the hanger bay as they landed. "but she is one of the best! Come, there is an entertainment area waiting for you."
Sephar strolled off Cassels vessel while simultaneously waving away one of the several droid coming to make a request for some or other thing that they needed. Making their way through the ship, they finally arrived. The luxuriously equipped entertainment area was sparsely populated by a couple of B1 battle droids.
"Make yourself at home! Need a drink just head for the bar. We offer anything from the strong stuff to well, you know, the less strong stuff. The droids are always ready for a game of cards and there are a ton of arcades you may be interested in. I can recommend the pod race simulator, rather realistic. While you amuse yourself I will go have a meeting with my temporary captain about our plans. On that point, would you prefer carrying on our adventure on this ship, or on yours, with mine escorting us?"

Cassel's topknot seemed to come alive at the sight of the arcade. He hopped up and immediately ran over to an archaic pinball machine and began playing. Though he was not even tall enough to see the entire innards of the machine to play correctly, he seemed to be doing well right off the bat.
"We can just leave Kara's ship in the hangar bay and use it as a shuttle of sorts to planets. Short range. I haven't played pinball in forever!"
As soon as those words left his lips Cassel left the pinball machine and went over to a shooter game, the pinball entering the collection hole and signaling the loss of the game, at nearly one hundred and twenty million. And so this pattern of playing for five minutes and then suddenly leaving the game and moving on continued. When Sephar left to go to the meeting, Cassel was deep in the thawls of a Rakghoul apocalypse game. And doing extremely well. He had a knack for games, whether they be hide and seek, or shooting a Rakghoul in between the place where its eyes were supposed to be.

Sephar casually made his way to the bridge. This was one of the busiest parts of the ship. Several droids sat behind their stations carrying out several different tasks, from monitoring radar to doing the usual precautionary hull integrity checks which were standard procedure before jump to hyperspace. Sephar had employed it as routine in fear of losing the ship as well as his own life if the extreme pressures experienced during hyperspace caused the hull to tear.
Sephar then approached a droid who was wearing a large hat with flourishing decorations in gold, velvet and turquoise. " You do realize I put you in charge as captain of my ship but made it clear that no one would be wearing any insignia of higher rank. Now take that silly thing off and fill me in on what has happened while I was gone."
"Well Sir, the ship is as you left her, in 100% working order. We have brought absurd two weeks of supplies from Tatooine and have added that to our current supplies. This means that the ship can be self sufficient for two months. All turrets, shields and thrusters are in working order. All crew and military personal are accounted for. We have also had no signs of aggression or military threat to our vessel."
"Very good. You have have done well 19337. Prepare for jump to hyperspace in two hours. I shall return with our destination coordinates shortly. You are dismissed."
Having finished, Sephar retuned to Cassel and found him still engaging in one of the several arcade games. Letting him finish, or at least get bored of it, he then stepped forward and smiled at him showing a set of white teeth. "All good to go! Our adventure can begin! Where to now? What do you have in mind?"

When Sephar walked in, it took Cassel a few extra minutes to get bored of the current game he was playing. It was something called Donkey Kong, where you played a little man jumping on beams to save a woman from a giant gorilla. He finally turned and put his finger to his chin, thinking on what they should do.
"I hear Naboo is good this time of year. We could Go catch us some giant Goober fish! I have a perfect recipe to fix it with!"
Cassel clapped his hands together excitingly.

Panno truly hated flying, both when he had control and when he was being driven. Something about being hurtled through space in a giant metal can with nothing but vacuum for countless kilometers. As he was not permitted by the Whills to rift, something to do with powergaming. Whatever that meant. This left him with the mundane travel of ships, slow and pointless. Despite taking a discreet shuttle he looked anything but discreet.
Tatoonie was for all purposes a renegade planet. Ruled by the Hutts and the other smaller various criminal elements, they would never submit to the ways of either the Empire or the Republic. Neither would they incur the wrath of either faction because they were both sleeping bears. He needed to get away from both and as such he came here. Wearing his distinct red armour all Imperial Knights wore he also had his lightsaber and Imperial sword.
Flicking his wrist he entertained a small Squib female by making it chase after a ball, much to the annoyance of its parents. To the child though it was having the time of its life. The ball always one step ahead of her and the fur she so wished to touch it with. Eventually just as she was begging to lose interest he smiled and gave the ball to her.

Sephar didn't need anymore to be said. The orders were quickly sent to the bridge. Soon thereafter the ship could be heard humming away as the engines started up. Then it slowly started to creep forward, but it was not long before there was a sudden surge as it jumped to hyperspace leaving Tatooine and its dunes behind. The Larks next destination; Naboo.
