Description:
The D-Wing Starfighter was the latest design from the Jedi Lords in the same vein as the Raiju-class Light Frigate. Its almost unmatched speed and agility allowed it to intercept enemy starfighters and capital ships before they even registered the fighter on their scanners. This was useful as the D-Wing came equipped with 8 Ion Cannons, designed to overload and take out enemy shield systems and make them vulnerable to attacks from heavier hitting ships. The included Astromech assisted with hyperspace navigation and aiding pilots in getting the most of the D-Wings speed.
