A Jedi character/Archeologist/Historian...
A Jedi character who gets targeted by a blast and then becomes part cyborg and turns on the jedi.
A Bounty Hunter

As mentioned before, welcome to JvS! So, given your character designs here, allow me to give you some information: - For Jedi, you have a few branches to go to. Right now, the Jedi Order is more united under the Grandmaster of the Order, Aerandir Calmcacil , but it still has a few branches. Felucia is where the Order is headquartered followed by the two significant branches of Corellia and Ossus. Ossus is the newer of the three and is the headquarters of the Jedi Lords, freshly relocated from Serenno. I lead the Ossus Jedi/Jedi Lords as Lucien Malvern , their High Lord. Mike Frantz leads the Corellian Jedi as technically their Headmaster. He chafes under the responsibility.- For turning on the Jedi, you got a few options there too. The Quarren Dominion led by Prophet C'thyl over on Mon Cala ( imagine lovecraftian Dark Siders), the Dark Jedi Order and their leader, The Fallen , over on Ambria. And the newer Sith Eternal, headquartered on Roon, which I made as a background for my new Sith, Darth Xitan , but I also got help from Dragus and Azrea Thrune to give it more potential. It's led by a mysterious Sith NPC, the Supreme Leader. There is also the Blackguard Imperium, over on Mustafar, led by Viox Savage , but he has been on and off with activity. I'd talk to him or @supremeleader . There are also the Knights of Ren, aligned with the First Order, and bunkered on Prakith, who are led by Harnan Ren . - Lastly, for bounty hunting, criminality isn't too strong now, but you can always join up with any faction/group/handful of individuals to do shenanigans. I lead a criminal cabal with an alt by the name of Scar . We also got a few active criminal in Smugglers Run and a new bounty hunter that joined by the name of Frath ! You also got the devious Ewok Tarfang . You can always ask around to see if anyone is looking for a bounty hunter though! Overall, you can strike off on your own, get a handful of new friends, or join one of the groups! |

Can certainly agree here with Nic on these choices and can also recommend joining up with the Sith Eternal (since Azrea is a secondary character of mine as well).
Yet in general there are quite some interesting factions around, that would definitly welcome any of the mentioned roles in which you are interested.
The most interesting thing about the Dominion's cult of the Dark might also be for a turncoat jedi, that the Sorcerers of the Dominion aren't following the Sith traditions. They worship a darker aspect of the Dark Side, that leads them to the belief, that chaos and entropy are the only constants, that should gouvern the universe.
Furthermore there is no Rule of Two or in general a fight over power, only a Prophet and their 'gods' at the top of the whole hierarchy.
So yeah, that's in case a character for the Dominion intrigues you. Could be an interesting choice also, since the faction gets more active at the moment and another member would by chance also allow us a larger faction fleet in Open RP scenarios. Though that's just a nice side effect, nothing mandatory.
In either way though, I'm always looking forward new RPers on the site and hope that we can post at some point, either with this character or maybe with another, who knows? ^.^
