Inspired by the A/SF-01 B-Wing Heavy Assault Fighter, Blackguard engineers took the basic design and built on to it, making it something of their own. Designed and built at Exodus, a Cardan V-Class Space Station in orbit over Mustafar, the Edge-Wing sports a similar appearance to the B-Wing, though the S-foils on the sides are significantly smaller. Fully capable of being operated by a single pilot, a gunner could be added to optimize the true potential of the craft.
Armed with three fire-linked laser cannons, one at the bottom of the primary airfoil and one on either S-foil, the Edge-Wing was also equipped with an auto blaster on the rear of the main cockpit and two proton torpedo launchers beneath the front of the main cockpit, capable of carrying up to four torpedoes a piece. Rounding out the craft's formidable offensive capability was an Advanced Targeting System to further increase the ship's offensive capabilities.
