Hoping to set up a quick, short mystery type story here. I have my own reasons and have at least one other interested party. When completed I will probably type up a quick JOTW story to cover how the events happened in detail but no spoilers for now.
My original plan was to start this not long after the holiday season was over, but we're already almost there so I will see what interest might pop up and go from there. Ideally this would happen in open orbit around Felucia given a few story details that seemed to fit.
For now though I'm thinking of a couple small teams heading up to investigate this abandoned vessel. The ship is without power so no life support, no gravity, and unless you bring it to the table there is not likely to be any combat. Although if any of those Korriban folks actually decide to show up to an abandoned ship over Felucia I would be unable to do much of anything about it. (Remember those details I mentioned earlier?) The ship itself is well enough out of orbit and hyperspace lanes to not cause any problems by leaving it neglected, but really who leaves an intact ship out floating in space.

Seems my timing for choosing to start this is coinciding with the Quarren Dominion’s SL. Although unrelated and unintentional I see no reason that this idea could not continue, unless everyone is too focused on that.
And hopefully they don't just blast this random ship out of the sky on its unexpected arrival. That would certainly cut the story short…

That would certainly cut the story short… No worries, there's no intention to handle conflicts over Felucia at the moment. So far the intern plan in coordination with some of the Jedi writers is to solely focus on Lianna first and later on bring the battle to Rhen Var, if that helps with your planning. Not to mention that things are starting off slow anyways and I'm just posting stuff up for the Lords and other characters to react upon. We might be monsters, but we appreciate good RP after all. So hope it calms you down to know, that nothing is planned with Felucia at the moment. Already assumed that this was mostly a request for a lightsider RP. ^^ |

I have been around JVS long enough to know things tend to start up slowly. I just mainly found my sense of timing to be just as good as always. This should only end up taking place over Felucia anyway so things should not interfere. And although this is lined up to be more of a lightsider RP I didn't necessarily want to say no to any interested parties.
I mean it was a great way to unintentionally build tension for a mystery… Oh hey we just got attacked over here. Now we have this unidentified ship appearing over our base for no reason. Perfect.

Oh I see, but yeah, that wasn't necessarily my intention. ^^'
We could argue that it's different times, when the events occur, given for how long the Quarren campaign already takes timewise, so don't think anyone would confuse you for the attackers.
And I'll keep that in mind, actually have one mystery-based character that I could send. Not sure though how likely it is that she would visit Jedi territory though other than for observation for the Chiss. So don't want to force anything. ^^

Same time should be fine, Don't necessarily want to make everything too easy for the Jedi every time do we? Besides this would be a good opportunity for those characters that might not necessarily be prepped for war, but are already hanging around the area.
Not sure if I'd have anything aboard that might be of interest to an observer for the Chiss. But I can juggle it around and see if I can come up with something.

well.... you see... never really had a backstory for Han, and past me was kind of short-sighted and just straight up deleted profiles.
Might write one based on the old posts, but we'll see....

Yes I am still around and still working on some background details, life thing reared its head but has settled down again allowing me to refocus on this. So if everyone is still interested I can finalize a few details and we should be good to get rolling. So far looks like two of you are still waiting, and one of you is especially hungry for posts...
