Designed and built by MandalArms at their main facility in Keldabe, Mandalore, the War Pig Gunship is tough and fierce, well equipped to charge at enemy, guns and missiles blasting away. As the name suggests, such a heavy attack package is not maneuverable, and though swift, the gunship is not the most agile craft in the sky.
Tough, with layered armour, excellent shields, and a rigid and well protected central spine which contains backup and redundant power systems, the gunship is hard to perish. Armed with turbolasers and ion cannons it can lay down heavy fire support on the ground or get the attention of small capital ships in space. The ship also has two extra large launchers which can pack an extreme punch, as well as a hellcaster cannon which is very effective against heavy armor.
Equipped with a hyperdrive, the gunship requires no carrier vessel, and fitted out with a powerful cloaking device, is able to make stealthy approach to target. Versatile, the gunship can be outfitted with a variety of ordnance, missiles, torpedoes or bombs. Though the heavy craft is difficult to maneuver in atmosphere, due to her toughness and array of firepower, what little the small cargo area can hold can transport a decent amount supplies and troops directly into a war zone.
