It did. I just am not sure if that qualified as side scrolling? Super mario Bro's and donkey Kong country were side scrolling, right? but I don't know if they were arcade. Maybe I am mixing up my definitions.

Dread Lord HavokMario and DKC would be "Platformers" though theyre side and top scrolling. Side scrolling arcades of are 2 or 4 players, and theres little to no up/down in the game. and a lot of them did release on console too.
