The title should say it all, as big as it is. Currently, looking for someplace to write. I’m pretty wide-open with character ideas. I haven’t formulated a character yet.

Well there are plenty of opportunities across the board. We have a number of good factions that are welcome to cooperative and adversarial storylines. The Jedi located on Ossus and Corellia, the First Order towering from Coruscant, the Sith Eternal lurking upon Roon, the forming Five Worlds of the Corellian Sector, Mandalorians here and there, not to mention a ton of individuals with a number of varying stories that could always go for another story! You don't always need a faction after all.
