Vakim nodded as Xenia spoke. While, in the end, he knew that finding his place among the Jedi Lords would be a matter of patience and understanding. However, taking a moment to meet with one of his own race would hopefully be nice. "When given the chance, I would most like to visit this Maximus. Such a visit would be most enlightening. As for my rank, I would be hesitant to accept anything of greater rank. Even if I was older and incredibly powerful, it wouldn't be any ranks I earned among the Lords. And considering that I am more a warrior than one who interacts with the masses, it would be best if I started at the bottom and rose the ranks while learning of the Lords to a greater degree as well as to better learn how to truly lead a people."

After her meeting with Lucien Malvern, Abi had gotten right to work. She had made every attempt to get as many locals involved in her new government as possible. They did after all know the land, people, and taboos best. The Countess was attempting to offer guidance and keep everything running smoothly as the planets capital was restored to its former glory. The old architecture, some dating back to the time of the Great Hyperspace War, mingling with the new. Abi spared no expense getting the best engineers and architects she could, occasionally dipping into her own personal wealth to make up the difference. Knossa was worth every credit, Abi thought. It had once been the heart of the Jedi, and though she knew that the Jedi were far more spread out and diverse, she hoped it would be a place where all Jedi, and people seeking peace and rest, could call home.

The Baroness Xenia offered a smile to the interested individual. Vakim had the heart of a warrior, but that didn't make him less of a potential to join the Jedi Lords. They were more militant after all, but they believed in utilizing their martial prowess to expel the darkness, free the oppressed, and liberate the innocent. That didn't make them inherently violent, but rather, righteously motivated and warriors of the Light. They did not fight each other, as the tenets of both the Jedi Order and those laid out by the late High Lord Stone, made it a mortal sin. They cooperated as nobles and Jedi, seeking unification and freedom for all.=Xenia= Join us as a Knight, a Banneret, Lord Terrek and you will find your place among us.Her smile persists, motioning to the towering individual.=Xenia= Come, your future with us awaits, noble warrior.

Vakim nodded as Xenia spoke. It was time to take his first steps forward as a Jedi Lord. This rank of Banneret would be the bottom, but in time, as he learned and grew, he would rise and lead the people of this world as those who were already nobles. A new path, a new experience. It all began now. With a simple nod, he followed her.

A bulbous sac of air floated over the Eocho Mountains towards the city of Knossa. The inflated oblong shape was actually a Yuuzhan Vong blimp beast, essentially an organic version of an airship. Beneath the leathery sac that was covered in spirals of membranous veins was a cupola crafted from yorik coral that had been symbiotically connected to the airbag. A transparent membrane at the front of the blimp-beast's undercarriage contained the neuro-cusp used to control the floating creature. It soared high over the city, releasing a trail of mist in the sky behind it that seemed to be causing clouds to form over Knossa. They started out first as fluffy and white, but soon condensed and darkened, appearing as they would just before a storm.Inside the blimp-beast at the helm of the creature was none other then Master Shaper Mira Yim, bioengineering savant and genius extraordinaire, some would even go so far as to say the saviour of Ossus. Her wing shaped ears fluttered to dispel heat as her usually grey skin was flushed with effort. The winds were becoming stronger as she and Lilith finished seeding the clouds above the city with moisture. After lengthy debate with the World Brain of Ossus, it was determined that it was in the best interest of Knossa for the time being to regularly seed the clouds to induce rain, which should help avail the area of its somewhat arid climate.A song-beetle chimed when the last of the condensed water solution the blimp-beast had been carrying had been used up. Mira pulled back on the controls, venting some of the airbags gas so that the organic airship began to descend towards the ground. Thunder crackled overhead as the sky started to release the water it had collected. A pleasant warm rain poured over the city of Knossa, which Master Shaper Mira Yim and Shaper Adept Lilith Zun-qin landed just in time to enjoy. The two Handmaidens of Yun-Ne'shel stepped out of the cupula and extended their arms, enjoying the feeling of water on their pallid grey skin.♪♪ "Well done, Lilith."♪♪ Sang Mira melodically. "I'm sure everyone's garden and houseplants will enjoy the free shower." THUD! Mira looked around, her enhanced hearing picking up an unexpected sound. She looked over at Lilith and placed a hand on the her fellow shapers exposed shoulder. "Did you hear that?"THUD! THUD! THUD! Now they were both looking around, trying to determine the source of the sound. It was as they were casting their mqaaq'it about the vicinity that a thud happened right next to them. Both Yuuzhan Vong jumped as they saw what appeared to be a Ossus Tree Frog flop onto its webbed feet beside them. The frog was as large as a nexu and if rumours were to be believed, had a tongue that was strong enough to pull an X-wing from the air. All around, everywhere the two shapers looked, frogs were falling from the sky."Lilith." Said Mira calmly, pursing her lips. "Where exactly did you collect the water for the blimp-beast's moisture bladder?" The shaper adept paused, looking thoughtful. "Why, from the pond beside the shaping spire of course, Master Shaper." "Ah." Replied Mira, holding her chin with her shaping hand as she nodded. "That would be the pond I seeded with Ossus Tree Frog eggs and tadpoles. This is a problem."THUD! Another frog landed in front of her. "Not to worry. I can fix this." "Ribbet!" "Ribbet!" "Ribbet!" "Ribbet!" "Ribbet!" "Ribbet!"

Abi had remained mostly behind the scenes in governing Knossa, making sure the locals and the Yuuzhan Vong got what they needed. Her office had become a second home, papers and datapads covering almost every surface of the office, except for her chair, a pair of chairs on the other side of her desk, and a small sofa that she would use when late nights turned into allnighters. It was not flashy, but fulfilling work, and Abi thrived at it. It had been months since the frog... "incident" and most could now get a good laugh out of the memory, and Abi had made sure no ill feelings lingered due to it.
