I will advise, however, that you ensure a good trust is built between yourself, your subjects and your own circle. That way you will have less issue when it comes to building up your lands and ensuring they will thrive and prosper. Mahir bowed and in gratitude, and straightened again lost in thought briefly. He shook his head, as a canine might, and addressed his liege once more. He was looking forward to the challenge presented to him and the new opportunities Ashla was giving him. He spoke in a low rumbling bass, as he gathered his wits to begin planning to meet this challenge with his best efforts.Very well, by your leave then my Lord Malvern.

A large oblong gas bag crafted from membranous robeskin floated high in the sky, soaring through the clouds as it was guided by a steering reflex shaped into a cupola beneath the main bag. Master Shaper Mira Yim looked out one of the translucent portals serving as windows aboard her blimp-beast, which essentially amounted to a Yuuzhan Vong airship. Part of its secret was that the outer bag was actually filled with hundreds of smaller gas bags inside of it, so that in the event of a leak, not all of the gas needed to keep it aloft would seep out. It was still a difficult thing to pilot in such strong winds as the ones they were fighting against right now. Shaper Adept Lilith Zun-qin, a Handmaiden of Yun-Ne'Shel just like Mira, operated the controls while the coven leader studied their surroundings. Lilith's brow was creased with strain as she fought with the steering yoke, her arms already beyond exhausted, with little to show for all her effort. The blimp-beast was being blown towards the icy peaks of the Eocho Mountains."I'm sorry, Mistress, but nothing I seem to do will keep us on course. Apologized Lilith. "The winds taking us towards those peaks." Mira waved her eight digited shapers hand dismissively. Her glowing pink mqaaq'it were still fixed out the window, thin lips firmly pressed together as she looked for a safe place for them to land. She'd already set down the long stemmed crustacean that served as her pipe, which spoke to the seriousness of the situation. She began to tap on the window as something caught her eye."We'll be find as long as we can land until this weather blows over." She tapped the window again, this time harder. "I think I see a spot, 45 degrees to port, there is a plateau near that cave mouth. See if you can land us there.""Yes, Mistress." Acknowledged the shaping adept, pulling on a tentacle hanging beside the coral steering yoke, which began to vent some of the gas bladders. The blimp-beast began to descend, still drifting as the wind pulled it towards the west. Foot by foot they dropped, until finally the rigid coral bottom of the cupola struck the ground and began to drag across the stony platform as the wind continued to tug the giant gas bag overhead. Lilith grunted, manipulating the neuro-circuits to deploy arrest tentacles to stop their slide towards the plateau's edge. She stopped when she felt the warm caress of Mira's hand on her naked shoulder."Time to leave." Said the Master Shaper matter-of-factly, pulling Lilith away from the controls as the two female Yuuzhan Vong rushed over to the hatch-sphincter. The portal dilated and the two handmaidens jumped out just as the wind dragged the blimp-beast the last few feet off the side of the cliff. Mira and Lilith rolled as they hit the ground, stopping right at the edge overlooking a very far drop. "What is the infidel expression?" Asked Mira as she sat up and began to brush off her sleeveless crimson oozhith gown. "Any landing you can walk away from?""Indeed." Replied Lilith, clearly less amused by the situation. She stood up as Mira helped her to her feet, rubbing her naked arms as a chill from the frigid mountain air caused goose-pimples to rise on her grey and elegantly tattooed skin. Like the Master Shaper she was wearing an oozhith, though Lilith's was more of a cerulean blue at odds with Mira's bolder red. The adept peered over the edge and watched their airship descend into a valley far below where it snagged on the rocks and the gas bladder tore open, releasing hundred of miniature robeskin balloons into the air. "We won't be leaving in that.""Shush now, Lilith. I need to concentrate." Said Mira as she stroked the sides of her temple, occasionally flicking the tips of her pointed wing shaped ears. The villip implanted inside her skull was awake now and had connected with the World Brain of Ossus. Wordlessly the Master Shaper and Dhuryam conversed, until Mira blinked twice and lowered her hands. She turned to Lilith and explained. "Help is on the way, though it will be a while before it arrives. Hmmm." She placed one hand on her hip and brought the other under her elegant chin. Eventually one of her longer segmented shaping digits that ended in a slender proboscis flicked outwards to indicate the cave mouth at the base of the rocky plateau they otherwise seemed stranded upon. "Perhaps we should seek shelter in there until they arrive. This wind isn't getting any warmer."Lilith eyed the cave mouth suspiciously. "I'm not so sure about that Mistress. We don't know what's inside." Her light blue eye sacs puffed with concern. "It could be dangerous."A child-like infidel smile crossed Mira's beautiful Yuuzhan Vong features as she looked from the cave back to Lilith. The groan that came out of the adepts mouth suggested she knew exactly what the Master Shaper was thinking. Mira confirmed her suspicion a second later."There's only one way to find out."

The Halcyon breached the atmosphere of Ossus and made their descent towards the famed Eocho Mountains. What had just years ago been wasteland, was now rejuvenated forests and wetlands. Fields filled with life and waterways no longer choked by devastation. It really was quite beautiful, even the Castle Ruins site seemed in much better shape than Katja had expected as they drew closer to where Lucien Malvern was purportedly located. Spying a group of landed ships and speeders, Katja pulled the Halcyon in and landed in the largest opening at the edge of the field. Katja turned back to Endor as she pushed up from her seat, whilst Allas was busy powering the ship down, and gave him a thumbs upWell, I got you here. Please don't make my job here too hard. She gave a bit of a wink and playful laugh

"Me?" Endor scoffed, feigning offense as he held back a smile threatening to erupt across the bearded lower half of his face. He ran a rough hand through his greasy mane of hair and scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "Well, I suppose my diplomacy skills could use a bit of work, but Lucy's good people, mostly." The General adjusted his eyes to the sunlight baring down overhead as he and Katja descended the ramp and walked outside the ship. "Clever too. He picked this place for a reason I suspect." Isolated as they were up in the mountains and away from the Praxeum in Knossa, they would have a much harder time gaining the ear of prospective Jedi to join their suicide mission. Clearly High Lord Malvern wanted to hear the details himself first before he let that information be disseminated to the rest of the Jedi Lords.
The pair of pirates turned rebel were pushed aside as a short and stocky white furred bear with curling horns forced his way between them, as Redclaw waddled past them, wearing a pair of crudely carved stone knives thrust through a safety harness stolen from the Halcyon that the abominable snowok was using as a makeshift belt around his waist. Since that dastardly drake had stolen the Heart of the Mountain from Mt. Permafrost on Hoth, the winter magic wielded by the Lost Tribe of Ewoks had waned, making the Force imbued ice they had previously crafted into weapons about as useless as regular ice. Thus, Redclaw made due with stone painstakingly hewn from the cavern walls beneath the abandoned rebel base in the Wampa Valley region of his adopted homeworld.
Endor cupped his hands over his mouth and shouted after the determined little scout. "Where are you gong?" To which the snowok paused, and turned its horned head to regard the General and Captain with two blood red eyes. "Eecha." Replied Redclaw with a growl and curling lip that exposed the snowoks enlarged canines, then it turned and vanished a few second later into the surrounding forest. Scowling, Endor looked at Katja and translated. "Hunting."
As they neared the castle ruins, the General looked around, noting nothing out of the ordinary about the wilderness around them. "Huh." He scratched his chin. "Apparently the planet's revitalization was the work of the Vong. I half expected to see something weird, but so far it looks pretty normal around here. Still, I wouldn't trust them. The way I hear it, they're all a bunch of sadists."

The sounds of something flying overhead was heard as a quad of old modeled LAAT/le patrol gunships zoomed over where Endor and his entourage had landed. One veered off from the rest, zooming towards the surface as the trio continued on towards a site over the mountain ahead of them. Touching down, the side doors opened as a pair of troopers stepped out with one of the High Lord's retinue disembarking. From his appearance, the Duros seemed to be of the 'knightly' class which were quite numerous and served as the squires, knights, and bodyguards of the many landed nobles across Ossus. They were equivalent to the Jedi Knight rank of the Order.
=Duros= General Endor!
He shouted over the running engine of the gunship. He comes over, motioning to the readied transported.
=Duros= The High Lord is doing an aerial survey of the excavation site! I have been tasked with bringing yourself and others of your crew to the camp on the other side of the mountain! It will give you a clear view of the valley that is being inspected and excavated!
Pushing the side of his cloak down, he indicates the mountain in question before motioning to General Endor and those who would be joining him to come to the gunship. The High Lord would be available soon enough, Lucien just desired to see what had been discovered in the mountains by their Ysanna guides and the Jedi Exploration and Archaeological Corps. General Endor and Katja would likely see Yuuzhan Vong, Ysanna, Jedi, and non-Jedi all working together at the site soon enough.
=Duros= Come on! You can get a good look of what has been discovered as we head over! The initial expedition believes it could be a Jedi meditation retreat from the time of the Old Republic before the Great Sith War! Fascinating stuff that certainly brought the High Lord's instant attention!

A bit of work? You asked a Pirate Captain and her crew of Displaced Jedi to help act as negotiators... If that's the level of help you need... It was all in good jest, but certainly not without its grains of truth to the matter. Speaking of her Displaced Jedi, they had disembarked from the ship just behind Katja and Endor, keeping clear of Redclaw as the Snowok seemed to be intent and on a mission. Katja gave an understanding but somewhat thoughtful nod as Endor translated the word for her Of course... Makes sense... It didn't really. Perhaps it was some tribal custom to hunt something upon what ever world you landed. Or maybe, much like cats, Redclaw considered them all terrible hunters and was going out to hunt food for them. Her guess was the later option. Before she could comment upon Endor's statement about the Yuuzhan Vong, her attention was turned to the sky as the LAAT Gunships flew over head before one broke off Friends of yours? The question did not need answering as the Gunship landed and the Duros that emerged addressed Endor, going on about some aerial inspection and being tasked with taking them on to the camp site. Katja had learned some time ago in her line of work that sometimes the best course of action was not to ask too many questions and simply go with the flow Very well, lead on good sir! She didn't have to be a Force Sensitive to sense the excitement emanating from the quartet of Jedi behind her. Whilst she didn't understand everything about what this site's significance was, her crew certainly did. Perhaps she would be having to babysit both Endor AND her Crew to ensure this expeditions success

The wide bearish smile that seemed permanently fixed on the General's face diminished somewhat as he listened to the knightly Duros' explanation of what the head of the Jedi Lords was currently up, eventually leaving the former woodsmen turned rebel pilot with a blank expression and vacant stare as he retreated into his own mind. The only visible sign of emotion came from his right hand, clenched tightly in a fist down at his side. They were...excavating a Jedi meditation retreat? The last time Endor came to Ossus, he had spoken to Lucien in person and had been told by the High Lord that the Jedi Lords could only offer limited assistance to the Rebellion, as they already had their own important responsibilities that kept them from being able to commit further aid. He had assumed that meant driving off interstellar highwaymen or securing their borders against Imperial encroachment, but instead he found the High Lord spending his time and energy digging up an old Jedi Yoga studio! Endor's right eye began to twitch and he forced his tightly grit teeth into a false smile. "Fascinating." He looked at Katja, eyes wide and wild. "Isn't that fascinating? Seems like a great way for the Jedi to be spending their days..."
In case it wasn't completely clear, the General was on the verge of an angry meltdown, but for the sake of the fight for freedom he was doing his best not to speak his mind. As the gunship lifted into the air, Endor appeared to be hyperventilating, sucking in deep breaths through his nose and exhaling quickly. Inwardly he was reciting a few meditative mantras of his own. I am a leaf of the wind. I am a lily pad in the pond. I am the bark on the tree.

Voo Jib-Jib Shool While the gunships were off above the excavated Jedi retreat, a patrol of troopers in the area came across the R5 unit. Making inquires to each other, they wondered why an astromech droid was out here alone. The four soldiers walked up to the droid who was making his loud whistles and beeps, the leader of them squatted down in front of the little machine.=Commander= What's one of you doing out here?====================== Endor Katja Eve The gunship roared into the air once the entourage was aboard. Flying over the mountain, they would soar over a large encampment and some pretty heavy activity within what appeared to be an isolated and circular valley. A pair of gunships in the air, doing a survey, but a third had landed by a platform where the High Lord was visibly noticed, speaking with other Jedi. Their plain uniforms and equipment was easy to denote them as members of the Exploration Corps.
The gunship circled thrice before gaining clearance to land, parking itself near the platform where Lucien was. Disembarking, the Jedi retainer brought them into the presence of the High Lord who was using a pair of binoculars to see down below. Handing them off to the Exploration Corps member without even a second of waiting, Lucien turned now to General Endor. There was only ever one reason for this man to be here.Seems everyone is becoming aware of us reviving Ossus. Getting more visitors by the day.His usual gloved hands were naked and thus one could see his dirty fingers, having gotten down the valley floor itself to see what was down there. The revival of Ossus into a promised paradise had attracted not only refugees and new citizens, but also people seeking help. Endor had been here once before, but the Jedi hadn't felt ready to give more than what he could. Ensuring Ossus was vibrant and healthy was a bigger priority then. You missed a most interesting interaction with a relic of our past, General. The High Lord stopped before the commander of the New Rebel Alliance.A delegate of clone troopers from the era of war during the late Old Republic. Even called me General Malvern out of habit. Didn't learn much of their story, but they seemed to be fish out of water given how they spoke. Seems they have a war to fight despite the Clone Wars being over... Mandalorians suffering some sort of dark invasion by plagues and pestilence. Just as they too were rebuilding and rising again.Lucien's expression changes slightly to one of understanding, knowing what it was like, first hand, to suffer at invasion and dark times that made the future seem uncertain. Serenno suffered that for most of his life from a young teenager to being a middle-aged adult. He turns back now to view the retreat from their vantage point.Gave them my assistance. A regiment of seven thousand battle droids, a handful of Jedi, several squadrons and some ships. That reminded him as he turned to Endor.Plenty left Ossus to join your cause. But what of the ship and droid starfighters I gave to you then? I hope they are still fighting well for the revived Rebel Alliance.

The R5 unit bounced from side to side excitedly as it continued to beep and whir at the troopers. Meanwhile, very faintly in the distance, a voice could be heard shouting, clearly in a slight bit of distress.
"R5! Vait! Vhere are you going???"
Voo was still quite quick for his age, so it didn't take him too long to catch up to the droid who had now finally decided to stop running away. He noticed the guards though, so he slowed his pace significantly, and approached carefully and in a non-threatening manner. He did not know these guards, and the guards did not know him. And he was in no mood for any further derailments so he played it safe, and held up his hands in a gesture of peace as he approached. A bit short of breath, and clearly flustered, he addressed the patrol.
"My apology. My droid ran avay from me. He flew my ship here vhile I vas sleeping. I did not have de intention to come here at all."
If the patrol guards were familiar with the Gungan race, they might find themselves a bit surprised at how well spoken Voo was. He spoke with an accent, but it was not nearly as thick as what one would expect from a typical Gungan. If they were not familiar with the Gungan race, they might have been surprised by his appearance. He had very large ears that extended down his back like most Gungans do. He was older, though not elderly by any means. Despite his age he seemed quite fit. His voice was deeper than the average Gungan, and not at all squeaky like some might suspect, though also not as deep as some Gungans, like the big bosses. As he addressed the patrol again, his tone would turn more apologetic.
"My droid also failed to shut down de engines ov de ship vhen he landed. I awoke to no fuel. I am afraid I had no choice but to leave it out dere. I don't know who to ask for help wit' it."
R5 annoyingly continued to bounce excitedly and beep and whir with determination.

Plenty left Ossus to join your cause. But what of the ship and droid starfighters I gave to you then? I hope they are still fighting well for the revived Rebel Alliance. A bead of sweat broke out across Endor's weather wrinkled forehead and the grizzled old General rubbed the callused fingers of his hand through the mangy mop of hair at the back of his head. "Oh, no need to worry about that. Rest assured we put them to good use." Raising a hand to his mouth, he cleared his throat with a cough and quickly tried to change the subject. "But that's not why we're here. First off, let me introduce you to my companion." He turned and motioned to the female pirate in their company. "This is Captain Katja Eve, head of the..." What name sounded legit? "...NRA Diplomatic...Corps." That'll do, Endor, that'll do. "The ol'NRA DC. That's what we call it. Anyways, I know what you're thinking Lucy and no, we haven't come to hit up the Jedi Lords for more ships and droids, shiny though they were..." Then corrected. "...are. This time the solution to the problem we've encountered is going to require a somewhat...mmmm, larger, stick." The lines of his face pulled tight and the casual demeanor of the General became serious. "This time we've come for everything. The fate of the people of Mon Cala, and even the galaxy, may depend upon it."

Endor Everything this time. Lucien turned around and proceeded towards the railing, looking down at the valley that was being inspected and excavated. The High Lord had tasted war enough on Serenno and sought for the Jedi Lords to find that there was more to the Force than using it enforce. He had always worried that they skimmed too close to the Dark Side as a result. Ossus was that way forward from their beginnings. To achieve a newer height as they sought to cultivate knowledge, explore the stars, and rediscover their ancient past. However, they still had the vestiges of their time on Serenno given the strong number of ships, battle droids, and skilled warriors at their disposal. Lucien had heard the opinions of the more Hawkish Jedi who believed the time was coming close for them to, once more, raise their banners and battle against darkness.
A sound was heard overhead, causing the High Lord to gaze upward at a patrol of Solar-class Jedi Defense Frigates that had entered the upper atmosphere. Lord Malvern closes his eyes and exhales softly, still keeping his back to General Endor as he thought things over. Releasing the railing, Lucien turns to Endor after this necessary silence and time to think. As always, I can't give you everything because Ossus must be protected. Once upon a time, Kol Skywalker sought to revive this world to prove that the devastation of the Yuuzhan Vong could be altered for the better. He didn't have the security needed to prevent the Sith from sabotaging it... the galaxy paid in a galactic war for that. The High Lord continues not long after speaking his first piece. But, you will have your fleet, your soldiers, their starfighters, and vehicles that can be granted. The composition of which was already being drawn up into his mind. To liberate Mon Calamari would require a great sacrifice of material, built up from the Jedi Lord's time on Serenno, Lianna, and other worlds they once held direct sway over. It was to be a mighty expenditure.Twenty vessels, led by one of our capital ships, the Starhawk-class Battleship, Stone's Endurance, with a complement of nearly two hundred starfighters and over ten thousand troops. Both mechanical and organic. With plenty of Jedi to see this achieved. The only question left was if Lucien Malvern would join this personally or not though.======================== Voo Jib-Jib ShoolWhen the Gungan appeared, the soldiers turned their attention to the wandering humanoid from Naboo. The commander glanced at the astromech and then at the Gungan, putting two and two together. His helmet turned to one of his soldiers.=Commander= Either mechanics or Jedi have astromechs here. This was a sound observation considering who they served directly, the many members of the Jedi Lords and the Conclave of Ossus. Astromechs were a regular thing to see considering the starfighters utilized by the Jedi these days. An inheritance of both the Old and New Jedi Orders. He nods to the same soldier who keys his helmet, reporting in what was spotted on foot.=Commander= We can have a skiff patrol go out and inspect your vessel. If it can be hauled, it will be taken to Knossa to be fixed up.He then shoulders his weapon and takes a water canteen from his hip, offering it to Voo.=Commander= Welcome to Ossus, the home of the Jedi Lords, the Conclave of Ossus.

The Gungun eyed R5 with a look of stern irritation before returning his focus back to the commander who had approached him. He graciously accepted the water, with a nod. After that chase, he was going to need it.
"Thank you very much, sah."
Before he could say anything further though, as soon as the commander mentioned the Jedi Lords of Ossus, R5 opened his dome to reveal a lightsaber. The droid beeped wistfully as he leaned towards Voo. The Gungan, however, was absolutely flabbergasted and having none of it.
"Vhat?! R5... HOW did you get that? Vhy did you bring dat out here?!"
The droid turned and motioned toward the commander, before turning back to Voo, beeping enthusiastically.
"No. No. NO. I don't know how many times I have to say it. I am not getting involved with Jedi affairs. Vhy do you keep doing this, R5? I do not understand!'
The Gungan turned his attention back to the commander who had acknowledged him, with a bit of a defeated expression on his features.
"I am so sorry about all dis."

Katja was almost certain she was going to have to sedate Endor as he grumbled his way to the gunship about how the Jedi Lords were spending their time with this excavation. But thankfully he managed to keep himself under control upon the flight over the mountains to the dig site. Her own crew were just about hanging themselves out of the side of the LAAT to get a good view as they flew overhead, but a quick scowl from Katja got them to remember why they were here. By the time they landed, the quartet of Jedi had regained their usual composure and followed Katja off the transport and over to the meeting with Lucien Malvern, easily discernable by the manner in which he turned upon Endor and opened his line of comments.
Something about some Clone Trooper lost in time from the Clone Wars into the Present. Something she might have considered far fetched had she not see what was possible thanks to the Force. Though what his story had to do with them was not entirely clear, perhaps it was meant as a sign of the more giving nature of the Jedi Lords? What ever the case, she steeled herself as Malvern asked about the ships he had lent to Endor. A question she expected Endor would fumble with, but he seemed to hold himself together well enough. So much so, it seemed that Lucien had already just committed the fleet in orbit nearby. But she knew such a force would not be enough alone and Endor was not going to manage this alone Lord Malvern, We are honoured and humbled by your hospitality and generosity. But I do hope you are not offended, nor consider us ungrateful when I say that such a force alone will not win this fight. I would not ask of you to speak for everyone, but I would ask your permission to seek out others of the Jedi Lords to see who would be willing to lend their aid to the cause of freeing Mon Cala from the shadow that hangs over it. For is it not the Jedi's duty to seek out darkness and eradicate it with light?

Lord Malvern, We are honoured and humbled by your hospitality and generosity. "Well put." Agreed the General with a bob of his bearded head. "I concur with Katja's assessment. We'll take whatever aid you can provide, but if all we needed were droids and ships, we would have stolen them from the Imperial fascists of the First Order. Tarfang and I encountered a few of those Darkside worshipping squids when we liberated a couple MC80s from the shipyards at Mon Cala. Both of us have more experience with Darkside cultists than your average Rebel and neither of us is a slouch with a saber, but the two of us barely made it out alive." He took a stepped closer until he was right up in Lucien's face, invading the High Lord's personal space, close enough for the Jedi Lord to smell the bantha jerky on Endor's breath. "We need Jedi. All of them, or at least as many as you can spare. More than that, we need you, Lucien." Agitated and animate, the top ace threw his arms out to his sides as wide as he could, indicating the landscape around them. "Look around you. Ossus is safe. Ossus...will keep. It's the people of Mon Cala who won't last long if we don't act soon. Don't tell me you haven't felt it too. Something terrible is happening there, Lucien. The Living Force is screaming."That perhaps explained some of the General's obvious stress, as the former woodsman's primitive upbringing on the Forest Moon of his namesake and the shamanistic practices of his adopted people had caused him to develop a strong connection to the Living Force, the aspect of the universe binding energy field more closely attached to nature."Headmaster Frantz of the Corellian Jedi Academy has already offered to lead a strike team of Jedi into the dark heart of that pit of evil. He's a capable warrior and without question one of the bravest Jedi I've ever met, but we both know his organizational skills could use some work. The Academy's numbers have dwindled under his stewardship. I admit, it probably hasn't helped that the Rebellion has siphoned a few of his prospective students into our ranks, but the fact remains that the Jedi Lords are the most well provisioned and placed Praxeum to assist the Mon Calamari people. They'll fight better if you lead them." He stabbed at the High Lord's chest with a callused index finger, tapping him right in the xiphoid process of his breastbone. His face was so stern and serious, it could have been carved from stone. "You know it's true."

Voo Jib-Jib Shool The soldiers looked at one another. A Jedi who didn't want to be involved with the Jedi? That didn't entirely make sense to them. The commander did not seem too alarmed as he stood up now, putting his binoculars away as he had been surveying the area a bit. With the newly revived ecosystem, there were some predatorial creatures introduced for the sake of the living cycle that was reborn. Territorial ones were just as bad.=Commander= Jedi Order may have changed since you last interacted with them.He points behind them all, indicating the mountain and thus the area beyond it.=Commander= Our leader, the High Lord, would very much like to meet you. Why don't you come with us while your ship is retrieved and taken to Knossa?================= Endor Katja Eve Naturally, they would request him to join them. Lucien already had a reputation, among the Jedi of his circle, and into the rest of the Order, for having recent military experience. Before becoming the High Lord of Ossus, replacing their founder, Everett Stone, he had been the Lord Commander of their military. He was the leader of their forces in liberating Serenno and a handful of other worlds from the grips of tyranny and darkness. Lucien had found new peace though after coming to Ossus, a peace he wasn't sure if he was willing to give up for the sake of leading ships and soldiers again. You are welcome to speak with the others who follow my leadership here.Malvern gives consent for the two of them to approach the other nobles and Jedi of Ossus. If they deny support, do not take it as a bad sign. They have found their peace after all. However, I doubt none would deny your request.Plenty of veterans still lived since the liberation campaigns of Serenno and just as many knew the capabilities of their High Lord when it came to military matters. Lucien was merely hesitant due to past experiences where he felt the cold touch of the Dark Side on the battlefield. And because he felt a greater duty in managing the affairs of his branch of the Jedi Order. Still, he knew Endor would likely not take any answer that wasn't yes from his mouth. Lucien seemed to deeply contemplate once more, resting his hands upon a metal railing nearby as his gaze surveyed the lush green of Ossus beyond this valley.General Endor, I will give you my answer after I have spoken with someone. Right now, I do not have a person to run things while I am off to war.At least, not a named someone who was appointed as a second-in-command. That had been intended for certain positions, but it never materialized considering Lucien's heavy focus on Ossus compared to matters beyond this sector. It had been policing, observing, and cultivating, ensuring those that came here were safe and that the planet was truly restored. In the mean time, you can speak with the other Jedi and get answers from them. Is that fair?

The Gungan let out a deep sigh. Meanwhile R5 chirped and whirred happily and excitedly at the proposition the commander had just made. Voo eyed the droid. "R5, ve vill be having a talk about dis later, I assure you..."
The Gungan then looked back up to the commander, his face portraying a mixed display of gratitude, and defeat. He nodded solemnly at his proposal. "I am villing to speak with him. If only to extend my gratitude for your very kind treatment you have extended tovard me. Beyond dis, I cannot make any promises..."
Voo eyed R5 again as he emphasized those last words about not being able to make any promises.

There were some people that it did not take long for you to get a good read on and understand how they would react to a situation. General Endor was one such person. Despite having properly known each other for less than a week, she knew that the High Lord's response would trigger him. She admired Endor's zeal and boisterousness for the Rebel cause, but here she knew it would not help but hinder their cause. These sorts of moments were why he had asked her and her crew to come along, to help keep the peace. She raised her arm out in front of Endor, hoping to hold him back even if the effort might be pointless We greatly appreciate your consideration on the matter Lord Malvern. I trust that you and the other Jedi Lords will ultimately make the right decision for peace... Her other hand waved off her crew as she heard the slightest movement out of Haley. Her sister would try and argue for an answer right now, and whilst some situations did call for that, Katja suspected it would be pointless. It was clear Malvern was hesitant, but she was certain if given time, he would come through for them and provide the help and aid they needed Come along General, we have a few Jedi Lords to visit and make common cause with over the liberation of Mon Cala...

I am a leaf on the wind. I am a drop in the pond. I am the frog on a log. His jaw made a clicking sound as his teeth clenched tightly. I am the moss on the bark. I am the egg in the nest. I am... His nostrils began to flare as he sucked in a big breath and started to get red in the face. ...going to strangle this High Lord in front of his own Jedi! Steam blew from the fuming General's ears as he took a menacing step towards Lucien, looking very much like an angry bear in the woods. The only thing that stopped him was Katja's strong arm holding him back, otherwise he might have done something very un-Jedi but also very much in keeping with the less law abiding Rebel behaviour he had come to embody in recent months. This was part of the large difference between the two leaders of Lightside oriented factions. Lucien had a defined duty to the people of Ossus that superseded any responsibility he might have had towards the greater galaxy. He had fought his war and come out the other side of it a wounded man, perhaps not physically, but of the spirit. Whereas Endor was in the trenches of his own war, one against an idea, rather than a person or people. There could be no peace until the rights and freedoms of every sentient being in the galaxy were protected, and he wasn't the sort to take no for an answer.Katja's words softened the ire swelling in the General's breast, and as he turned his locked jaw towards her, he deflated by the time she had finished speaking. Right. They were here to help Mon Cala, first and foremost. Endor allowed himself to be led away by his cordial companion, guided by the elbow back towards the gunship, but even the Captain's manhandling couldn't completely prevent the hot headed ace from saying something unnecessarily cruel."Take all the time you need, Lucien!" He shouted over his shoulder, his voice growling in his throat like a rabid ewok. "At least Ossus is safe! Right!?" A vein bulging on the bushy bearded druid's head looked to be on the point of bursting, but the further Katja led him away from the High Lord, the more that fury ebbed, leaving the Rebel leader feeling somewhat embarrassed. Once they were out of earshot he reached a hand up behind his head and ran his callused fingers through his mangey mop of hair."That went pretty well." He said incincerely with a sheepish smile. "Don't you think?"

The patrol that had found the Gungan would eventually bring him and his droid to the campsite where one could see many working and moving about. They had taken one of the mountain paths to ensure they arrived where they last heard that the High Lord was present. Just below where they walked, one could make out old ruins, a Jedi retreat as was reported by the exploration corps and the Ysanna allies. The commander approached a main tent and headed inside for a time. When he came out, the male pointed at a ledge nearby.=Commander= High Lord Lucien Malvern is just up a ways. I have work to do, but two of my squad will see you and your droid there.Afterward, the pair of troopers led the way to where the High Lord was visibly seen, talking to members of the excavation.
