Description:
The TIE-ARMS Program was one of many projects that Darth Astera had ongoing for the Technological Advancements Department of the Sith Eternal. The focus of this project was a series of new TIE Fighter Craft meant for use by the Eternal in their ever growing state of strength and conquest. What resulted was 3 Fighter Craft and a Dropship that were meant to be cheap and easy to deploy, but were not slouches.
The TIE/St Stryfe was named in honor of Darth Stryfe who served as the Hand of Krayt. Much like it's name sake, the TIE/St was designed for swift interception operations of enemy fighters. 4 Dual Laser Cannons and 2 Ion Cannons allowed the TIE/St to pack a punch whilst it's massive Engines and SLAM System gave it the speed it needed to get in behind the enemy and make use of that power. Similar to the TIE/LN, the TIE/St came without a shield generator or hyperdrive equipped as a standard, although space accomodations were made for Hyperdrives to be installed upon request by individuals.
