==Pirate Raid SL== <<107 PP, N9 Sector, Interstellar Space>> Officially, there was nothing at this particular point in space. Technically speaking, that was a perfectly accurate statement. But technically accurate didn't mean completely accurate. This particular point in space housed two hyperspace lanes within roughly ninety light minutes of each other. However, that ninety light minutes was roughly a two week trip for anyone that wanted to go from one lane to the other. Most travelers just went around as it was simpler. One group in particular, however, considered the distance saved taking the slow road worth it.There was a flicker as a ship appeared from one of the hyperspace lanes. The GR75 medium freighter was not the factory standard model. At least not the original factory. It was instead the Infinite Imperium variant. One benefit of taking this particular 'short cut' was that it bypassed a number of other stops that tended to frown on certain cargo. Loaded into the ninety meter ship was a small hodgepodge of goods that would be frowned on. The most legal part of the cargo were the large number of crates of refined Nova Crystal. Each box neatly packed with freshly minted wafers stamped with all the correct milling. A small fortune in the physical currency of the Infinite Imperium & by extension the entire Mandalorian Assembly. The vast majority of its cargo however was a range of weaponry & gear that was considered illegal or restricted in most every system imaginable. Most of them were only illegal due to certain modifications, like the removal of registration markings. But of fair number would be illegal in & of themselves. All told it was enough to arm a fair sized small army. Where such an arsenal had been acquired & for what purpose, was a thought best left unspoken. Finally, tucked away in a small crate of its own, was a small database of intel. With a hard burn, the craft launched itself across the gulf toward the other lane, then powered down to wait for its planned arrival. It was unlikely to encounter anyone else out here in the lonely reaches of space. A Lethisk-class armed freighter emerged from the hyperspace lane and began its crossing towards the other. Luxeria sat at the controls as the ship moved on, anticipation running through her veins. This was outside her typical approach in any regard. She never had any need to stop in random locations and fly through empty space. Nothing usually awaited her here and so she always made the trip from world to world.
This time was different, however. Things had grown a bit quiet with the Blackguard lately. Many worlds had come under their rule and at this point, there was little else required at the moment. Missions still came in from time to time, but they were spread out and not always needing the large group that was there at the start. That allowed her extra time to train and build up her abilities. Even still, she grew restless after awhile and needed to get out and fin a little action. Deep inside, she wanted a fight, something to get her blood pumping and keep herself sharp. That was what had led to this moment. She was about to undertake a new type of job, joining in a pirate raid. It certainly was a strange feeling, working with others in non-Sith related business and working with those outside of her order. Still, she had opted to join up, looking to kill the boredom and find a new thrill.
She had visited a bar, one she typically wouldn't venture into, yet she knew she'd find something amongst the lowlifes to entertain her in some capacity. And as such, she came across two pirates looking to take on a job: Jack and Emma. She had offered her services and they accepted the help, though she wondered if their was some skepticism between them about letting a Sith join up. Time would tell if they tried to cut her out of the deal by the end in attempt to keep themselves safe. A thought that amused Luxeria.
As she carried on, she spoke out loud to the A.I aboard the ship. "Kyra, activate the scanners. According to our new friends, the ship they want to take should be out here somewhere. Let's hope the information's right. I'd hate to be out on a wild goose chase."
It wasn't but a second before a female synthetic voice spoke over the speakers in the cockpit. ::Beginning scans now. If the information provided is indeed accurate, we shouldn't be far behind the intended target.::

Emma stood in the cargo hold of the Lethisk-class armed freighter, clad in her almost stark white Orbital Armour. As she cradled her helmet, she took a moment to think about the events that had lead up to this moment. Things had been quiet with the Liar’s Gambit crew. So she had decided to take some time off to pursue a small side venture.
She had heard about a trade route used by a number of ships travelling between hyperspace lanes. Cargo freighters full of valuable goods ready for the taking by anyone crazy enough to risk it. She knew her own crew would shy away from such a job, and she’d had no intention of putting her brothers life at risk. So she had headed off and found a crew of her own to get the job done.
First she had met with Jack Morgan. A man with a ship and a Wookiee, both of which would be useful for a heist. Then Luxeria had approached them. Offering her services as a Sith. Something which Emma had been hesitant about being ok with. But the woman struck her as different to a lot of other Sith. Like she intended to honour her part of the deal.
And so it was that their ragtag group of raiders was formed.
Emma lifted the helmet up and placed it on her head. The sealing mechanism activating moments later to pressurise the suit. The heads up display flickered on. With the built in comm link connecting her directly to the bridge of the ship as it came online I’m all good to go. Have we found anything on the scanners yet?

Luxeria was about to answer, when the A.I responded to them. ::Scanners have picked up a ship. No escorts. Estimates show us a few minutes out. Stay on course and maintain speed.::
Luxeria nodded as the ship appeared on the scanner. They were close now. ::I'll come up along their port side and try to get you as close as I can. With no escorts, hopefully we won't have to dodge a lot of fire. When you're clear, I'll make sure to keep their attention.:: She then opened a channel to the third of the group. ::Alright, Jack. We have the ship on scanners and are closing in. It should be just a few minutes. You ready?::

Aboard The YT-2400 Light Freighter known as The Renegade.
Jack sat at the helm of the ship with Crowdarr at the co-pilot's seat. They had left their third crew member Xodon Ridos back on Contruum to get things set up with the Gallucci Family his most recent employer. The head of the family one Mister Tony Gallucci had heard about an opportunity to "acquire" some cargo that could be used to gain an uneasy Alliance with the Ajuur Cartel. Lucky for Jack someone else also intended to go after the cargo, this made things a tad bit easier for him as it would be harder to find out who he was and who he worked for. Jack couldn't help but grin, he was working with two lovely ladies. The first was a bounty hunter by the name of Emma Van Kanne, she was the other party who was also going to go after the cargo. The next lady was a hot 'n Spicy redhead Sith lady, Luxeria, even though Jack had a thing for redheads he knew that he should be careful with that one. Hearing Luxeria coming over the comms snapped Jack out of his daydream.
I'm always ready to go, darling.
After Jack answered Luxeria's hail, Jack looked over at Crowdarr who just shook his head as he listened to Jack's response, but remained silent.

It seemed, at least to the eye, that the freighter was abandoned. The running light had been extinguished, no life support could be detected, there didn't even seem to be an active reactor on the ship. The sensors at least had power though, as once the first ship entered an intercept course the freighter beamed out a tight transmission. The second craft likely wouldn't even detect it, except as a slight energy pulse possibly, but the intercepting craft would have it appear bright & clear.
It was a simple comms message, detailing the ship as part of, & under the protection of, the Infinite Imperium. There was no audio, simply a block of text. If the craft continued on its course for more than thirty seconds after the first pulse, a second one would be send warning of possible retaliation for interfering with the transport.

It wasn’t much longer before the ship came into view. Even from this distance, something seemed a bit strange about it to Luxeria. Still, she wasn’t about to run on simply feelings right now. Not a moment later, Kyra spoke again, connecting the channel between Luxeria and Jack, as well as Emma.
::Inhave new information available. The ship seems to be running on an automatic path. I detect no life support systems activated within. However, we have just received a message from the ship. This model appears to be a GR75 transport ship that is part of the Infinite Imperium. Records indicate this as Mandalorian group. It’s has made the order to redirect our path in thirty seconds.::
Luxeria gave a smirk at the thought. "Well, guess we should do as they say. Adjust course to widen the gap between our craft and send a message back. Tell them we are only seeking to get to the hyper lane and have no intention to cause trouble."
::Understood. Returning message.:: The message sent to the transport went as Luxeria wanted it to be. It reported to the craft of the woman an company being a rich group of kids from Coruscant seeking to explore. It also stated that it would pull off a bit and accelerate to move out of the transport’s path so not to cause any problems.
But, of course, it was all a ploy to get as close as she could. ::I sent off a message to the craft to hopefully let down their guard to let us pass. How close do you need to get?:: She has to admit, the plan was a reckless one. Part of her found it to her liking as it was very deceptive, a move after her own desires. Yet, it presented a lot of risks. There was still no telling about the ship’s defenses and they had to play it careful, hence her claim to the transport. If she could suddenly pull in close as she begun to pass by, it would be more than enough to get Emma deployed. If they were lucky, the ship wouldn’t have any armaments on the outside, but considering the group that held it, it was best not to hold her breath.

The freighter made no reply. For all that could be told, it hadn't even received the reply message at all. Inside the ship, however, things began to stir as the foreign ship steadily closed the distance. Long, spindly legs began to twitch as flickers of light reflected off faceted red eyes.

Her HUD updated as the new information came in. Taking in the ships scans, she was able to plot her current position in relation to the GR-75. She activated her comm back to Luxeria as the Female Sith asked how close they needed to get The closer you can get me, the better. I’ll launch as soon as we’re at the closest point... Emma walked over toward the cargo hold controls. She typed a couple commands before the atmosphere was vented from the room. Allowing the cargo hold door to open a few moments later without any issues. The mag locks in her boots activated to keep her planted on the floor as she moved to the edge of the ramp Here we go... The mag locks deactivated, allowing Emma to float freely. The thrusters on her armour activated, giving her control of her movements. As the cargo door closed, she launched out across the void. A small counter on her HUD decreased as she drew closer and closer to the GR-75. Her gun arm was raised and ready to fire.
But no shots came from the transport as she got closer and closer. The ship was obviously unarmed despite the cargo it was carrying. But what defences lay within were a mystery. And Emma doubted the interior would be empty. She slowed her approached, coming to a stop at an airlock. She produced a thermal detonator and attached it to the door. Timer lights counted down the detonator, giving Emma a chance to move out of the blast radius before the detonator went off

==Pirate Raid SL== <<107 PP, N9 Sector, Interstellar Space>> The only airlocks & doors were on the far nose of the craft, the remaining hull was studded with relays, gear & maintenance hatches, but those would not grant entry to the ship. At the nose of the craft were the pair of flanking main cargo loading doors, a smaller personal access door at the bottom of the center, & an extended airlock nacelle at the top of the center. The detonator flared, carving a neat hole in the personal access door. A rush of atmosphere jetted from the cargo ship as the little atmosphere inside the access corridor vented out. After a moment or two of pause, a much larger rush of gases joined it. It would seem that somewhere inside things were on the move. Things that cared little for the scant mercies of an atmosphere. The heavy hull of the craft still prevent accurate readings from within the cargo ship, but from her station off the nose of the craft, Emma would be able to at least determine that the cargo holds inside still retained pressure. Though that would obviously change if the pirates attempted to open any of them without taking appropriate measures before hand. ==Pirate Raid SL== <<107 PP, N9 Sector, Rapid Response point #7>> An alert light switches from yellow to red on a status board of the Imperium Kandosii-type dreadnaught KAN-1139 Subtle Danger. The thousand plus meter ship was every centimeter the powerhouse as the more common Imperial Star Destroyer. It was also, not going to budge a meter for a single GR hull in danger from some low level vultures. Within moments, a pair of Imperium Crusaders had been tasked to the mission. Thirty seconds after the status change, the two ships had finished spooling up their already primed & waiting hyperdrives & vanished from the collection of massed ships.

Luxeria only gave a nod from the cockpit at the response Emma gave before pulling off as her message implied she would. Accelerating, she pushed on to pass the ship. As they approached, no further message was sent, nor where any shots fired. In fact, there seemed to be no response from the transport. So far, everything seemed to be going as planned.
Once she was along side the freighter, she then cut back in quickly to get her in close as fast as she could. With each moment, nothing happened, allowing Luxeria to get rather close to make Emma's trip as short as possible. Giving the command, the sensors went off, signifying her cargo bay had opened. It wasn't much longer before Kyra let her know that the woman was clear and the ramp closed. Without another word, she began to pull away from the ship, slowly at first before cutting her angle and blasting off ahead of the ship. Emma had been let go to carry out this part of the plan. All that could be done now was wait and distract if at all possible.
After a minute or so of flying ahead, she heard Kyra speak. ::Detecting explosion on the nose of the ship.:: Luxeria gave a quick smirk. "Alright. Adjust course and head back for the transport. It shouldn't be long before she'll have everything ready for us."
As the ship changed direction, she hailed Jack. ::We successfully deployed Emma and an explosion was just detected on the nose of the hull. It shouldn't be long before she's inside and has everything ready for us. There seems to be no outer defenses so we should have a clear path.::

Emma kept herself pressed against the hull as the detonator exploded and the atmosphere was sucked out into the void. When the second rush of gases passed by, she used the maneuvering jets on her suit to enter the personal access door. She activated her mag seal boots, causing her to be sucked down on to the deck floor. While she could have jetted through the ship, Emma suspected it would be far safer to have a steady stance from here on out.
She raised the cannon on her right arm up into a ready position then, as her HUD alerted her to the condition of the cargo pods. So far, they all remained pressurized. Which was good for Luxeria and Jack. But at the same time, there wasn't a major concern whether they retained their atmosphere or not. She just needed to figure out which ones had what cargo and release them from the ship. And the only way to find that information out, was by accessing a terminal.
Emma moved deeper into the ship in search of such a terminal. Her HUD keeping track of her local area scans to alert her of anything trying to sneak up on her

As Emma entered the module, the automated lights & systems powered up. Clean, bright lighting snapped on. Deeper in the ship, a dull rumble started, a few moments later a constant light haze of atmosphere & frozen liquids began to stream past. The haze limited visibility, despite the lights, but it would seem to be incidental, a result of an automated life support system slowly venting out its reserves. Unlike the way the rest of the galaxy used the GR frame, the Imperium was slightly different in that the entire cargo area was a single large pod, with all the needed equipment to function on its own, minus propulsion systems of course. While some of the pod designs used were only one or two cargo areas of large size, this particular module had several decks of smaller cargo bays. Each of these decks could be accessed on foot through the central walkways, or from the main loading areas for loading larger cargo. As for a terminal, there was one right near the hatch that had just been vaporized. Unfortunately for any attempts at hacking the system lacked any input systems such as keyboards or jack slots, or for that matter any visible displays.
As Emma approached the terminal however, a coded burst of information would be picked up by any wireless system she had in her suit. Unfortunately, like so many things of the Imperium it would be useless to outsiders. Whatever data in the burst coded in a programing language unknown to the wider galaxy, even if it could be read one would need a functional understanding of Ancient Rakatan to even hope to begin hacking it.
For all of this, however, the Imperium wasn't completely immune. Next to the terminal was what appeared to be a fair sized file box. Inside was a hard copy printed manifest of the cargo & the cargo bays it was in. Regardless of whether she would locate those papers (which were in the more commonly understood Mando'a) further exploration of the central walkway area would quickly locate the emergency module release system. The instructions, like the paperwork before, were in Mando'a. However, it wouldn't be too difficult to blunder through the process of manually launching the pod from the GR75.
Glittering eyes watch the armored figure. Hidden from most sensors or eyes by the haze & the sudden flux of power running through the module, more & more slowly gathered in the surroundings to the intruder. Spindly legs tapped with silent menace in the near void conditions. The intrudor's armor looks strong though, so they wait as their numbers grow.

Luxeria came back around until she was almost on top of the GR75. As it grew larger in her sight, something began to feel off about the ship. She couldn’t feel any kind of life within the hull, though it was possible that a few Force-sensitives were onboard hiding all sensations of organic life, no matter how improbable it might have been. She pondered the thought further as she awaited word from Emma on what to do next. The only other likely option was the ship was operated by droids or running on autopilot. Considering how impractical the latter was, simply due to this single ship not having any escorts or outer defenses, it was safe to assume it was run by droids. Cheaper, no doubt. Still, something was odd about it all. Passing the ship by, she circled around and pulled up beside it. So far, no defenses were activated if there were any. Why would a ship carrying cargo just be left alone without any defenses?
Unable to shake the feeling, she spoke out to Kyra. "Kyra, can you give me a deep scan of the ship? I want to know everything you can find about it." She suspected little to be gained as it was highly likely that there were sensor jammers on board.::Understood. Beginning scans now.:: With that, all that she could do now was wait.

While there were no sensor jammers, the thick hull of the craft was a natural barrier for scanning systems. It was a feature that had made the craft so attractive to the Rebel Alliance nearly a hundred years ago. While sensor system had improved somewhat in that time, the hull still had the effect of blocking most signals & scrambling the rest. The resulting deep scan showed a legion of ghost images & sensor echos as the little signal that breached the hull bounced around inside it.
A detailed analysis would be possible, but would take several minutes. Surprisingly enough, the ship appeared to be primarily automated. The majority of the systems that required direct input were located in a single cluster, though it was not apparent what operated them (should the need arise), As it was completely separate from the module pod it was carrying & would require extensive effort to access at all. Additionally, the ship boasted a much more advanced communication array than would normally be found on a ship of that type or size. It was possible that the ship could be set on autopilot for the routine majority of its trip, with remote control being established for unusual situations or for more tricky bits of maneuvering.
A secondary effect was that Emma's own signal was becoming progressively weaker, should she continue deeper in the ship, she would likely loose contact with her transports.

The minutes rolled on as Luxeria waited for something from the scans. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was a little off about the situation. She had completely expected to fight and disable a ship and defeat or kill those aboard and take what they had. even if it had been solely piloted by droids. yet, despite the message sent before they made their move, all had been quiet. And that was more concerning than choas.
Suddenly, Kyra's voice broke through Luxeria's thoughts. ::Scans complete. From what I can tell, the ship is being run on an automated system. There also seems to be something within the ship, though I cannot make out what they are or how many. Something is interfering with my scans, though I detect nothing off. It is possible the hull itself is developed to hinder scans from being made. This craft does seem to hold some history of such. However, I am slowly losing Emma's signal. It is slowly fading, most likely an effect of the hull.::
Luxeria sat forward with a grunt of frustration. If they completely lost contact with Emma, she would not be able to signal them to dock, nor to inform them of any trouble. And it was the same with Jack and herself to get in touch with Emma. "Thank you, Kyra. Get on the scanners and keep eyes out around us. Something doesn't feel right."
There was a moment of pause before the response came. ::Understood. I'll inform you if anything heads this way.::
Activated the channel to Emma, she spoke, quick, though clear. She couldn't only hope she hadn't gone in far enough to disrupt their communications yet. ::Emma, this is Luxeria. We've detected something within the ship, but we can't make out what it is or how many there are. be on guard. Furthermore, the deeper you go into the ship, the chances are we'll lose you on our sensors and we might lose communications.::

Emma stopped at the terminal without having to progress too far within the GR-75. Her suit scanners were already assessing the nearly featureless object. In fact, the only reason she had noticed it at all, had been the indecipherable data packet that her suit had picked up. A small amount of processing power had been dedicated to trying to work out just what was contained within. But Emma was pretty sure it would not finish any time soon.
She turned from her study of the blank terminal as she noted the haze that was starting to fill the hallway. With the lack of pressure having equalized, the haze started to build up within the corridor. Limiting visual range. But she wasn't too concerned. There were a number of methods to see without seeing. Motion sensors, EM fields, radar. Anything of sufficient threat wouldn't be able to hide for long.
Emma returned to the terminal. Her attention drawn to the file box that was sitting nearby. She reached down and knocked the lid off before retrieving the first page. Her HUD took a quick snapshot of the page and added it to the databank. While she did not understand Mando'a herself, the suits internal systems could have a translation program able to decipher the contents of the page.
She placed the sheet back into the file box and turned to look further down the hallway, just as Luxeria's message came through, warning her of potential communication loss. Sensor and communication loss were always a risk regardless of the mission. This time the risk was a little higher on the scale Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I'm sure if things get bad enough, you'll work it out... She turned toward the hallway and moved deeper in. Her local area sensors sweeping for anything that was not her. She rested her left hand atop the Light Repeating Blaster. She slowed down and came to a stop then as she located what appeared to be a manual release control. For what, she was not completely sure. Her HUD took a snapshot of the instructions and moved it to the translation software. Hoping that Wilhelm had included a Mando'a translation program

Luxeria couldn't help but smirk at Emma's words. ::Understood:: For a moment, she felt likebshe heard a crackle, a possible sign that she was beginning to go too deep for clear communication, but hoped it was her imagination.
With all information passed, Luxeria continued to fly next to the ship with Kyra scanning the area around for possible traffic. While she could keep scanning the ship, she felt little purpose in doing so, especially when there was nothing she could do to help.
