Telandra gave a bow as Gaelle stated that a room would be set up and that there would be much to discuss in the coming weeks and months. But that Torvus would become the home that many of Gaelle's kin lacked when they were exiledThank you Clan Mother... Your kindness is not something I will soon be able to repay... But I will try my hardest as thanks... She gave a low formal bow, before heading off over toward the door where Vanyla was waiting. In her rush to flee Dathomir, Telandra had been unable to bring any personal possessions with her aside from what she wore. In all her time on Serenno she had purchased little beyond the necessities for living. After all, she was a stranger on this world with no true place to call home. Thus, she had no personal items to collect before following the younger Witch. She smiled at Vanyla and motioned aheadLead on Vanyla... I'm sure I can handle a little more exploration before I need some rest... Vanyla beamed at the notion of exploring further. With one last reverent bow to her sister, she grabbed Telandra's hand with her free hand and pulled her along after her, ready to give a grand tour of the clan's territory. Or as much of it as Telandra wanted to see. As the two descended from the balcony, Vanyla began to speak.Thank you so so much for the demonstration earlier! I've always wondered how it would be to fly! I have always loved animals and planets. I just get them better than people, ya know? But these are good people. They raised me after my mother passed away, and now I'm their family. Just like you! She smiled over her shoulder at the woman she lead. They soon entered the large meeting hall, where the clan would gather to listen to the Clan Mother speak. Now that was Gaelle, and it was weird. Now she wasn't just her sister, but her Mother. The third one the young woman had had in her life. The peppy attitude Vanyla had started with seemed to fade as her mind followed that path of thinking. But her mood was only dampend for a moment before waving her hand over her head at another sister. Something Vanyla hadn't accounted for was that this hand still grasped her staff, and it knocked into some of the chimes hanging from one of the archways in the chamber. This disturbed other sisters who had been meditating, and drew all eyes to the pair of women. Sorry sorrysorry

Telandra was almost pulled along for the first few steps as Vanyla grabbed her hand and pulled her along. It took her a few stumbled steps, before she managed to get her feet beneath her and keep pace with the younger woman as they descended the staircase from the balcony back into the meeting hall. She smiled at Vanyla, slipping a few loose strands of hair behind her hair as they continued their descent As someone who can turn into a bird, I certainly understand... But don't mention it, Talismans like that are a lost art which we must preserve the memory of... She was thankful for the brief reprieve in their hurried progress down the staircase when they came to a stop in the meeting hall. Telandra took a moment to steady herself even as she noticed the brief dampening of Vanyla's mood. She could not possibly imagine what the young girl had been through, losing not one but two mothers. True, Telandra had lost her whole clan, but it had been a time of war and losing ones mother was a far deeper wound. She almost moved her hand to give Vanyla a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder. However, such intention was cut short as she leaned and dodged out of the way as the staff Vanyla was holding was swung about in the air. The tend of it barely missing her as it knocked into some chimes nearby.
Telandra quickly muttered a spell under her breath as she moved her hand in a ritualistic gesture, summoning her magic which trapped the chimes in a ball of energy and stilled them. She smiled nervously as the eyes of the Witches in the hall turned upon herself and Vanyla, with the younger girl enthusiastically apologizing for the disturbance she had caused. Telandra leaned down slightly toward Vanyla then Perhaps we should keep moving on with the tour, it seems our sisters aren't too happy right now... Given how newly inducted into the clan she was, it felt weird to refer to all of these Witches as her new family. It would take time for her to get used to it and come to grips with how things were now. But she would get more comfortable with it eventually, as long as she and Vanyla didn't get themselves into too much trouble. Though, if she was honest, only having Vanyla as family was still good enough for her

Thankful that Telandra had stopped the chiming before it could get to the point of trailing off into somehow an even more awkward silence, Vanyala agreed, and continued to lead the woman out of the Temple. A little more reserved and careful, the younger witch set about showing all that the community had to offer. It's various craftswomen, artisans, and everything else. And Vanyala slowly seemed to regain her energy and bounce as her excitement grew being outside in the sunlight. Occasionally she would point out trees that were particularly good for climbing or lounging in, ideally both.
It's a fine place. In fact, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. Vanyala said near the end of the tour and, after climbing upon a particularly mossy rock. You wont find a group of people who look out for their own better, anywhere in the galaxy!

Telandra eagerly followed alongside Vanyla, as the younger girl led the way out of the Temple and through the city of Torvus. It truly was a beautiful place filled with a great many people of various skills and trades. She made note of some of the artisans in case one day she might need to make use of their services. As they continued to move closer to the edge of the city, Telandra noted how much happier Vanyla seemed to grow once more after the incident in the Temple. She smiled a little as Vanyla climbed atop a mossy rock It certainly looks like a beautiful place to have lived and grown up... I hope that one day I will be able to say such things as confidently as you do...

The sublight engines were lit up as soon as they were close to the planet's atmosphere. Shadowed by the large freighter's mass and signature the infiltrator ship could sneak unnoticed in Serenno's orbit, then proceeded to fly to the location where they expected the castle to be. And, indeed, there it was, a towering estructure crowning a large cliff, in a heavily forested area, covered in thick and tall woods. The palace had seen better times, clearly, but it could still convey some sense of majesty and power all on its own, remnant of its former role as abode and residence of the Confederacy's infamous leader. The ship landed in the woods and openned itself, releasing its content to the planet: Vallius Savage, cloaked and hooded, set foot on the surface, lightsaber dangling on the belt. A thrio of spy droids appear from behind his back, spawned from the ship's belly, and fly towards the castle, while the prince of Iridonia prepares his speeder bike.
"My Lord, what are your instructions?"
"To remain in the ship. Keep the systems to a minimum, but active, in case we have to make a speedy retreat from the planet once what brought us here is done"
"As you wish, sire"
The Zabrak places his foot on the bike's pedal, lighting up the engines and propelling himself forward at high speed. The console in front of him, on the bike, is fed up the data provided by the droids' sensors and cams, showing him both the terrain's relief and ocasional obstacles, while preliminar information on the castle and its grounds started to appear and roll on screen. Vallius crossed the woods like a dark shadow, cloak fluttering in the wind behind him, he slowed and stopped the bike at some distance from the castle, keyed something on his vambrace and the spy droids' visuals appeared projected in the air before his face: he switched between them three alternatively to scout the terrain and the, apparently, unhabited complex.

Like much of the planet Dookus palace had sustained some damage from the battles that raged before the Jedi Lords had tamed the world. Although much of the building was intact there were several holes that opened the interior to the outside. A few hundred meters from the right side of the building much of the cliff side had collapsed. Instead of a pristine flat cliff the rubble had spilled out behind it, one could walk down it with some difficulty. On either side of the walkway that lead to the keep small pockmarks were found the ground seemingly turned to glass. Although the dead and their arms had been collected there battlements still stood, showing scorch marks of their own. Whomever had been the attacker and the defenders was lost to all but those who survived.
On the highest part of the keep that still stood flapped the flag bearing the symbol of the Jedi Lords. Count Dooku may have been dead for many years now but this particular building held a lot of sway over the populace of the planet. A token force by the Jedi Lords had been placed to defend and rebuild the building but the building had been going slow with much of the concerns being Saffia that had been the hardest hit population center.
It was still early morning and a slight fog had risen as the sun warmed the cool ground. The building crew could be seen moving inside their temporary home.

The droids hovered around Vallius, their scouting task done. He keyed again something on the vambrace and the robots took three different flight patterns, covering the ground with their cameras, taking positions as to monitor the perimeter effectively, orbiting the castle: they were to warn the Sith Lord if any significant threat approached. Then, the prince of Iridonia started walking towards the structure, hooded and cloaked. He leaped over the wall that formed some sort of boundary around the castle, one that was largerly in disrepair, and he simply moved towards the building, covering his shadow so it would not be a radiant source of darkness in a planet to entranced by the Light. The lightsaber dangling in the belt he went through the ceremonial walk that led into the castle's gates, without any hurry or concern. He stood for a moment, looking at the structure towering before him, it was grand, indeed, but nothing compared to the might of Vader's Castle or his father's Dark Obelisk. The Sith openned himself to the Force, trying to probe who ws inside and how many.

The hiss of the air leaving a punctured lung was over soon, the man dying with shrapnel lodged in his chest cavity. The Sith walked using the debris of the explosion caused by a blown tibanna gass to impale the feeble things defending the estructure. They had a pretense of defense first, hands to the blasters, but Savage simply mowed them, using the Force, not bothered to light up his lightsaber. His droids sharpshooted several of the remaining crewsmembers, and he moved inside, openning the gates with a simple gesture.
Let's see...
The hallways were empty and in disrepair. The Sith placed a hand on a wall, feeling the wickedness of the construction. Evil lurked in there and he could feel the shadow of an old thing, the rage and despair of someone long betrayed, discarded and dead; a flash of blades he could see and sense the smell of burned and sliced flesh, the loss of all thought and the slipery descent to the black beyond. He hummed, closing his hands and wrapping himself on the dark sinthsilk mantle. He went down, following instinct. Down to the vaults below the residence. All were left open, long spoiled. But there were consoles and security systems.
Alright, this can do.
The spy droids hovered to him, a simple order was keyed in the comm and the mechanical servants connected themselves to the machinery.
Only scraps...
He said after a few minutes. The sliced information was scarce, after the systems had been derelict for many years now and non-functional, still, there were some sparks inside.
Imperial-related data...
There had been a team of Imperials on site, apparently, by the looks of it shortly after the proclamation of the regime. A recovery team. The mission was under the wraps and there was no more information.
Palpatine, must be, must have. Only him.
It made sense for the Sith lord to recover what Dooku had stored in his palace or managed to conceal under his nose. Savage sneered, baring his teeth in what could pretend to be a grimace or some sort of smile. He gathered the data and sent the droids away, leaving the empty estructure through several openings, sending the information to the ship in small data packs. All while the prince of Iridonia walked himself to the door, passed a leg over his bike and made a speedy return to the stealth ship that had brought him to the planet surface.
It was little, but better than nothing. At least he got a small lead.

[ Lt. Talann Travian | Bedroom | Travian Family Farm | Serenno’s Open Terrain | Serenno ] Attn: Alena Sunbreaker “Hold the pass, HOLD THE PASS!” cried Sarna, prompting Talann to turn away from the main battle. They had two T4-B heavy tanks and a group of T2-B repulsor tanks guarding the narrow canyon pass that fed into the valley where the Eleventh Serenno Independents main force were stationed. With Larcener’s forces directly ahead, anything that broke through the pass would leave the Independents trapped in a pincer, and aside from the tanks, their ground armour was sorely lacking. It seemed Larcener’s fighters knew that, and were attempting to break through the tank blockade.
“Everyone! Get behind the barricades!” ordered Talann as he himself moved to position himself behind the hastily erected shield barriers, occasionally leaning over the top to fire a few shots from his blaster pistol.
“INCOMING!” Bhako’s warning gave Talann just enough time to see the warhead approaching his position, and he backpedaled hastily in alarm, barely escaping, but the thunderous impact and ensuing explosion still sent him and many others airborne, their ears ringing, blood pouring freely. It seemed like such an exciting adventure at first, he mused bitterly. He convinced several Serennians on Corellia to join him in an effort to liberate their homeworld from Larcener’s grip. The Jedi had joined and did whatever they could to aid the people.
As he weakly stirred from the ground, he drew his sword, feeling a sense of danger, and he lifted his head in time to see a man with a glowing red lightsaber. No wonder the warlord’s forces seemed so potent. They had a Dark Jedi leading them, and it was none other than Rohkan Despar, the Butcher of Carannia.
Barely raising his blade to meet the crimson glowing bar of Rohkan’s in time, Talann’s first thought was that he was not going to see another day. There was no way he had the skill of blade to best a Dark Jedi. Though he’d learned sword forms since he was boy, they were nothing more than an idle hobby or side interest for him. He never imagined he’d be using it to cross blades with someone who’d trained all their life to use lightsabers as a main choice of weaponry.
Rohkan caught him with an elbow to the face and Talann was on his back again, just as he saw nothing but blinding crimson light bearing down on him.
With a start, Talann awoke, a soft gasp escaping him, and he slowly sat up, rubbing his face in the palms of his hands. Every night since the fall of Larcener and his forces, he saw the same dream, bore the same pain of losses, as he watched Sarna die, then Trizzt, the Jedi Ybran, and the impossible feat he performed after to stop everything...but it wasn’t him. It couldn’t be. It had to be Ybran. He was a Jedi after all.
“Talann?” called his mother from outside, “Are you awake?”
She entered the bedroom, a small towel draped over her right arm, and she gave him a knowing look, pulling up a nearby chair and sat down, dabbing the damp cloth against his forehead, “They’re getting worse, aren’t they?” she asked.
He wasn’t surprised that she figured how much the war and the losses bothered him. Besides Bhako, Labrot and Gan, none knew him better than his parents. And there was the matter of his missing father to consider.
“If I hadn’t asked them to follow me...” he began, but his mother quickly interrupted him.
“They would have come anyway,” she said confidently, “Serenno is their world too, my dear son. And you inspired them just by being you. You need to stop blaming yourself for them all. It was a war. If...if you want to honour the fallen, remember their sacrifice, live your life well, protect this world they fought and gave their lives for.”
Talann considered her words, and looked at her, then gave a weak smile, “I’ll do my best.” he stood up, and she followed him, then he hugged her, “Thank you, mother.”
She simply smiled back at him, and he set off to begin his work for the day. Running a farm was not an easy job, but it was an honest, and satisfying one. After the war, with no place of their own, Bhako, Labrot and Gan stayed on with him, mostly living out in the Star Onyx, with Gina and R2-13. But in the day, they’d join him in tending the land, with the farm droids. With his father missing, Talann was responsible for the upkeep of this land, and it had fortunately escaped the worst of Larcener’s ravages.
“Talann!” said Bhako, “How about I make us my wife’s famous shaak steaks for dinner, hmm? You, the boys, and your mother, my treat!”
“Don’t say yes,” said Gan as he walked awkwardly past, a hand pressed against his back as he bent backwards whilst still walking, “the last meal he made still hasn’t passed through for the last week.”
“And you can starve and die, Gan!” cried Bhako. Talann chuckled and shook his head at his friends antics. Then stared ahead, sensing something odd more than seeing anything, and he turned his head to gaze at the entrance to the farm, where a short young man was approaching them with a nervous look on his face.
“‘ey, Bhako, look...” said Gan, lightly tapping the large man with a soft backward palm, having noticed the approaching young man as well, and soon all four men, including Labrot, were standing and waiting for him to reach them, as one of them was clearly his intended target. They were all leaning or rested palms over working tools, looking mildly disinterested.
Talann noted how the weather was actually quite cool given that it was coming close to the fall season, and yet the man was sweating like it was high noon and the height of summer.
Once he was close enough, he glanced at all four men, then looked down at the datapad in his hand, and then looked at Talann, as he expected, given the odd feeling he had within him. “T-Talann Travian?”
“That’s me,” answered the man, “who’re you?”
“Elan, sir. I have news...c-concerning your heritage.”
This made the four men exchange looks among themselves. Talann looked back at Elan and said, “All right, let’s hear it.”
Perhaps it was news concerning his father, and if Elan was so nervous, it might well be very bad. He looked briefly past the tilling fields to look at the Star Onyx, his pride and joy. Built from the ground up by himself, using whatever he’d learned in shipbuilding, the vessel was truthfully, a cross-culture design. Externally, it was unique, and aesthetically pleasing to Talann’s eyes. Internally, however, it was far more Corellian and had a very modular concept, allowing for great flexibility in modification and redesign.
People who saw him working day and night to complete it said he almost looked like he was in a trance, and there were times he’d just rest his palm against the hull or surface, and look so at peace, but Talann usually was concentrating on the vessel. Almost feeding his thoughts and feelings into it. And how it always hummed back to him, as if alive. He saw a silhouette of a person. Female. It was probably Gina Huan, his Human Replica Droid companion and co-pilot. Though she rarely left the ship.
“Regarding the matter of Mahr Teramo (formerly Reegs), Lord of the Great House of Teramo...” began Elan, and suddenly Talann and his friends looked at him quizzically, “due to his demise in the Battle of Saffia...”
Talann did recall a man who went by that name. A scarred, somewhat brutish but surprisingly well-dressed man, who was in the same unit as him, he had been closest to the tanks when the artillery strike bore down on them.
“...and due to Mahr bearing no heirs or immediate family, nor did he leave or arrange any will of any kind...” Elan glanced at Talann, then looked back at his datapad, “...all of his belongings, as well as lordship, lands and right to the House Name of Teramo now goes to the next closest of kin, Talann Travian.”
Silence dominated after Elan’s final declaration. After nearly a minute, Bhako threw his head back and roared with laughter, making Elan jump and yelp. Labrot and Gan were a bit more sedate, but they too were chuckling and shaking their heads. Talann was only staring, mouth agape.
“You want to elaborate, mister?” demanded Talann.
“Mahr Teramo was the last surviving direct descendant of Viddo Teramo,” answered Elan, studying his datapad once more while the three laughing men recovered and paid attention, “Viddo had managed to hide and conserve a great many assets of high value, including the most precious treasure to him...”
Talann figured it out easily enough, “An heir.”
“Yes my lord,” Elan nodded eagerly. But Talann gave him a sharp look.
“What did you call me?”
Elan blanched, but recovered a little, “W-with Lord Mahr Teramo’s demise, you inherited all of his worldly belongings, the ancient lands of House Teramo, and the title of lord...my lord.”
Labrot, Bhako and Gan smirked at Talann, who took a minute to think it over and he finally shook his head, raising a placating hand to Elan, “Let’s...let’s ease up on the ‘my lord’, okay? This is a little too new and too much for me right now. Just call me Talann, or Tal, for now.”
“Yes my lo-uh-T-Talann-uh-M-Mister Travian...sir!” stammered Elan, and Talann looked heavenward for a moment. He had a feeling he wasn’t going to be happy about all this.
“So how’m I related to Viddo Teramo? My knowledge on the history of the Great Houses is a little rusty.”
At this, Elan perked up happily, and began to hastily work on his datapad, before holding it flat, and a holoterminal built into the datapad began to display a large family tree, listing faces and names trailing for generations, until it led down to Mahr and Talann, who were distant cousins. They were the only two last living descendants of Viddo Teramo, it seemed.
“Mahr was the immediate descendant of Viddo Teramo, through Viddo’s son,” explained Elan, “you were the next closest of kin, through a sibling of a more recent ancestor from Viddo’s son.”
“HAH!” Bhako barked with a laugh again, and clapped Talann on the shoulder, “Well, how about that! Talann Travian, Lord Teramo!”
He, Labrot and Gan bowed low to him, grinning from ear to ear, and Talann scowled, “Keep it up, you lot, and it’ll be the dungeons for you.”
Elan rubbed the back of his head uncertainly, and Talann’s mother approached them, having noticed the lot of them standing together in conversation for a long time. After introducing Elan to her, and having Elan repeat his announcement for her to hear, she clasped a palm over her heart.
“Well, goodness,” she said, then looked at Talann, “what are you going to do now?”
“First, I’m going to get Elan here to tell me everything else he knows about this whole inheritance business, and then...well, we’ll see.”
Thus, Elan found himself invited to lunch, and they all sat together, Bhako even bringing over his wife and children, and he made his promised shaak steaks for everyone, which, contrary to Gan’s ribbing earlier, was absolutely smashing.
After learning everything he could, Talann and his friends were making their way down to the Star Onyx, Bhako bidding his wife stay with Talann’s mother, to keep her company while he, Talann, Labrot and Gan were away, uncertain of how long it would take to get everything taken care of.
At the base of the boarding ramp, which was open, Talann stared at the open ramp a moment. Neither Gina nor R2-13 would ever leave the ramp open and unattended unless one or both were working on the exterior of the ship, and since he could see neither of them, he found it strange. Then again, Labrot, Gan and sometimes even Bhako would spend nights in the ship, with the former two having no home of their own yet, and they weren’t as disciplined as Gina or R2 about ship security.
Shrugging and entering, he headed straight for the cockpit whilst the three other men made their way to their own bunks to place whatever they brought along with them or to check on their equipment. Talann decided to bring along his gear, but especially his Serennian Battle Sword, and the lightsaber of Ybran. The lightsaber had a white blade, and the crossguard hilt of the Jedi Lords. When the man lay dying from the wounds inflicted by Rohkan Despar, he had raised a shaking arm to Talann, holding out the blade to him, “From Jedi...to Jedi...I give you, my blade.” He’d said, before succumbing.
Talann didn’t understand, but assumed it was the ramblings of a dying man. Still, he was no Jedi, and he reckoned it would be best if he returned the weapon to actual Jedi. He sat down in the pilot’s chair, and began running pre-flight checks, then switched on the intercom, “Gina, I need you up here. We’re going to Saffia.”

Alena skipped through the woods, almost dancing as she took in the life which surrounded her on all sides. The sunlight shone through the gaps in the leaves, illuminating everything in a detailed and intricate pattern. She loved nature and the feeling it gave her, the peace and serenity and the energy which pulsated through everything. It just felt so, alive. Running, she found herself in a small clearing, the sunlight making her short golden hair shine as she looked around her and felt the calm once again. Then she felt a small little emotion rising up in the life surrounding her, a mischievous and familiar feeling. She stumbled back as a small frame hit her and laughed as she looked into the bright blue eyes of the small cat in her hands.
"Zurai?" she let out a giggle as she said his name, "what are you doing?".
The young Archonite cat purred in response and after a couple of seconds buried his head into her chest. Alena brought up her hand and gently ruffled the fur between the ears and smiled at her pets anitics. The silver coloured fur which mimicked a crystal shone bright in the sunlight and Alena wrapped her hands around Zurai for a couple of seconds, holding him close. Once she freed him the Archonite cat, a feline species native to Alena’s homeworld, slinked off her frame and waited at the side as Alena stood and brushed herself off. She then looked around her, sensing something off to her right which she hadn't felt just moments before. A light feeling which also had emotions deeply buried inside it drew her in. Interesting. Zurai, which now stood next to her, let out a questioning mew, but Alena knew that the young creature could also feel the presence.
Alena took steps forward quizzically, and then broke into a run like she had been before, except this time with a purpose. For a second she felt Zurai feel disbelief at her curiosity, but it quickly changed into the same inquisitiveness she felt for the strange calling ahead of her. They bounded through the forest together until they found themselves at another clearing, but this time much bigger. It looked like a farm.
Zurai looked up at his owner who's eyes were staring straight ahead at a large object at the far edge of the field. Both minds wondered at the same time, what was it? The feeling which was drawing Alena in was now much much stronger and impossible to resist. Eagerly she advanced forward towards it and took in the ship which now stood ahead of her.
The patterns which covered it were intricate and interesting. It also reminded her of some of the Aldar's ships, her own people often spent many hours making their ships aesthetically pleasing and complicated in nature. Slowly she wondered around the ship, resting her hand on the metal as she did. Alena expected it to be cold, as metal was and especially since the weather was rather cool today, but instead it felt warm and inviting. When Alena eventually found herself back round of what she thought was the front of the ship, she once again rested her palm against it. She closed her eyes and lowered her head towards the metal mirroring her actions she had made many times before on crystals. She wanted to see if she could gain anything from this, any information about the owner of this ship that was bursting with emotion and energy.
A loud hiss made both Alena and Zurai jump back cautiously, instantly they turned to look at each other as a ramp slowly descended from the ship. After it hit the ground she rushed forward, she wasn’t going to forego this opportunity to learn more about this ship which had caught her attention!
When she found her way inside she looked left and right, it was large and seemed to be laid out in a sort of grid pattern which was a little disappointing seeing how detailed the outside had been, but it would still be interesting to explore. The ship was very large as she had seen outside and it seemed to be roughly 100 metres long. That meant there was plenty to look around and plenty for her to explore. Should take her interest for a while and although she had sensed some people in the area they seemed to be in some kind of dwelling and enjoying themselves, so it was unlikely they would appear any time soon. Behind her she could hear Zurai’s feet gently padding against the floor and echoing softly in the hall.

[ Gina Huan | Corridor | Deck Two | S1A-13 Light Cruiser, The Star Onyx | Serenno’s Open Terrain | Serenno ] Attn: Alena Sunbreaker Many strange things tended to happen on board the Star Onyx, so much so, that Gina Huan, one specialized Human Replica Droid, had simply created a subroutine program in herself to just file away oddities as a Talann thing.
Indeed, when she had first seen objects floating on their own and getting rearranged, she initially considered the possibility of a supernatural occurrence such as ghosts. As a droid, she would not be able to perceive such things, though she acknowledged their probability of existence given her accumulated lore on Force-Sensitive beings who could move objects without touch, and their testimonies of Force Ghosts.
During the war on Serenno, she had worked alongside Talann with Jedi and the Aldar, all of whom were inherently Force-Sensitive beings. It gave her quite a few prime examples of things she could not see, that were nonetheless happening around her. And the Aldar were quite an engaging lot. Obtaining more information was far easier than it was to stop the flow of information once questions were asked. As a whole, they were a ridiculously eager bunch of people, and the fact that she was a Human Replica Droid was nothing short of the most fascinating thing for them.
Fortunately, Gina found them quite amusing and interesting herself, so she never felt herself losing patience, though Talann appeared to be near exasperation on a few occasions.
Therefore, when the boarding ramp of the ship opened by itself, when she and R2-13 were nowhere near it, Gina’s internal processors barely registered the oddity any longer. Talann would have used the keycode from the hidden panel that only he knew, while Bhako, Labrot and Gan had access with their own remotes. But none of those were what triggered the ship to open its doors.
Instead, it was a little Aldar girl, and a crystalline cat. Well, not all that little, given Gina’s own build and size, but she was definitely young, even by Aldar standards.
Curious, the HRD quietly approached the girl from behind as she turned the corridor for the second time. It seemed this Aldar was mighty curious, just like they all were when they came close to Talann’s ship. There was something about it that attracted their curiosity and interest. After watching the girl for a while, and seeing as she was doing no harm, Gina announced herself with a simple, “Hello.”

Alena glanced round the ship and traced her fingers along the wall, letting the cold yet gentle sensation tingle into her fingertips. It was strange, this ship felt so beautiful and she just couldn't walk away. Maybe if she had been a human, or even slightly more aware of herself than she was she would have been worried about being caught, but the eventuality didn't even occur to Alena. Besides she had got herself out of tricky situations in the past, mostly by acting like her own curious and innocent self.
Zurai bounded up ahead of Alena down the corridor and she couldn’t help but giggle and run after the small cat. She caught him and scooped him up into her arms as she patted his head, Zurai leaned in close with a little mew and rubbed his head against her neck. He was adorable and the happy vibes Alena could feel through what she had been taught was the force rubbed off on her. This place was filled with light like her pet, but unlike Zurai she could sense something else. Pain? When had that appeared? It had been so beautiful and perfect moments before. Was it because she was next to something? She turned and looked at a door next to her and was about to open it before hearing something. As she jumped she pivoted and stared at the girl in front of her. Wait no she wasn't just a girl there was something different about her…
Alena walked forwards, now having let Zurai drop to the ground, and peered at her. Her face suddenly lit up with a smile and she jumped up in excitement, “Hello! Who are you?”.

[ Gina Huan | Corridor | Deck Two | S1A-13 Light Cruiser, The Star Onyx | Serenno’s Open Terrain | Serenno ] Attn: Alena Sunbreaker Gina observed the crystalline cat without moving her eyes away from the young girl before her, and gave her a reassuring smile. So long as neither she nor the cat got up to any particularly disruptive or detrimental hijinks, she was welcome to stay, besides, it gave her someone to talk to and something to do. R2-13 wasn’t the greatest conversationalist and was much too militaristic for Gina’s liking. He was the only astromech droid Gina knew that could make his bleeps and warbles sound like he’s barking orders.
She also began to file away data about the girl; noting her hair and eye colours, her skin tone, and her build, along with that unique glow around her body. She had a slightly higher metabolism than the average human of her age, based on her observations of previous Aldar. She very likely had a lightsaber on her somewhere, or similar weapons. Aldar were peaceful, until provoked, then they proved to be quite a disarming folk. What made them scarier was how they were swift, brutal and methodical about it, without actually looking enraged. Talann seemed to think they can’t even feel certain emotions, which Gina was inclined to agree, from what she had seen before.
“I am Gina Huan,” said the girl, “A Human Replica Droid, which would be why you did not sense me in the Force. You’re an Aldar, aren’t you? What’s your name?”

Alena walked around Gina in curiosity. Behind her Zurai sat and mewed as Alena looked Gina Huan up and down. A human replica droid? It was certainly an impressive copy, Alena might not have even realised Gina wasn't a human if it hadn't been for the Force. Once completing the circle Alena stopped and lifted up one of Gina's arms, if she would oblige, to feel the fake skin and the weight of the arm. Now she could tell the difference, no matter how hard humans tried there would always be a difference between organic and synthetic skin. And naturally Gina's arm was slightly heavier than a humans. "You are a droid?! Wow….." she said in wonder. "And yes I'm an Aldar! My name…" she let go of the droids arm and took a step back, "...is Alena. And this…" she pointed at her small crystalline cat, "...is Zurai!" She finished speaking and then proceeded to look around at her surroundings. There wasn't much to see here, just a small room with a bunch of random objects in. She'd have to look at them in a second. "So where am I?" She asked. She had been travelling between villages trying to sell her work with crystals, that was how she had ended up in the woods. She had a backpack and a satchel on her which were both filled to the brim with crystals and tools "Who's ship is this? It's very intriguing…." She said as she began to walk past Gina Huan to look at the rest of the ship. Maybe she should have been concerned about being caught but that thought wouldn't even occur to her. Even if it did she was naive enough to believe that Gina would serve no threat. Curiosity was what drove her, and in turn her species. Logic seemed to not exist in her brain sometimes, unless a threat appeared of course then she'd stand her ground. So would Zurai. But right now she sensed no threat and her guard was down, which you could probably tell from her body language.

[ Gina Huan | Corridor | Deck Two | S1A-13 Light Cruiser, The Star Onyx | Serenno’s Open Terrain | Serenno ] Attn: Alena Sunbreaker Amused more than anything else, Gina allowed the young Aldar to perform her examinations on her form. True to their inquisitive and curious natures, the girl was clearly intrigued by her. She even obliged by letting her lift her arm. She was slightly heavier than a real human of her size and build would be, but not by much. She needed to at least be capable of passing a weight test without arousing too much suspicion. This reduced her durability somewhat, but she was not optimized for assassination or combat. She was more of a general specialist.
At least this girl wasn't poking her. To accomplish her infiltration potential, Gina's body was completely real. She had nerves, a synthetic but biological brain, and her flesh was real. Very few scanners or droid detectors could identify her as a droid. In many ways, she could be considered a cyborg. So poking her would result in real reactions. She had no idea why her creators deemed it necessary to make her exceptionally ticklish.
She inclined her head to both Alena and the crystalline cat, as the girl introduced them to her. “It's nice to meet you, Alena, Zurai.”
She gestured towards the ship with both arms even as Alena sauntered past her with all confidence, “Welcome on board the Star Onyx, one of the first few original Serenno ship designs. Built by Talann Travian. Perhaps you know of him? He participated in the war to retake the world.”

Alena smiled in response, "And you!" Zurai looked up from licking his paw, stood and wandered over to Gina. He purred as he rubbed his head against the droid's leg. Alena laughed at Zurai and knelt down to give him a little stroke. Then her attention moved to Gina Huan as she stated the ship they were on. "Star Onyx, what an intriguing name..what was it named after? And Talann Travian? I know that person! I read his name somewhere. Apparently he led a charge which resulted in the forces being able to break the enemies flanks" Alena had read a bit about the history of this world. Archon, the Aldars home planet, had been where she was born and raised but she had come to Serenno about a year ago. She was exploring, much like her parents had done, and had ended up on Serenno. Serenno had proved to be quite a good place to sell her crystal sculptures and other objects she made. "Where is he?" She asked excitedly. Then she looked around the corridor. It was a pearlescent grey colour. The ship had been much prettier on the outside but still there was some beauty on the modular design of the ship. Her attention then returned to Gina "Who made you?"

[ Gina Huan | Corridor | Deck Two | S1A-13 Light Cruiser, The Star Onyx | Serenno’s Open Terrain | Serenno ] Attn: Alena Sunbreaker Gina smiled as the young girl fired off several questions right away. She was also intrigued by the fact that Alena did in fact know of Talann. Though she sobered a little and her smile fell away. The war, the battles, and the losses bore heavily on Talann, which Gina knew, and sympathized with. He hated the honorifics and medals they tried to pin on him. Many of those medals found their way to the tombstones or memorials of his personal friends who didn't survive.
“The Eleventh's Last Charge,” said Gina, “They took a narrow pass, and held off a large bulk of Larcener's forces until the rest of the Jedi and allied defense forces. Your princess, Lyrica Starlight, she commanded several divisions of your people to bolster the Eleventh Serenno Independents personally.”
Right as Alena asked where Talann was, the man's voice came over the shipwide intercom, though Gina was quite aware of his arrival.
:: Gina, I need you up here. We’re going to Saffia. ::
She detected the additional presence of Bhako, Labrot and Gan already. Somehow, they'd all bypassed their usual routes, so none of them came across Gina, the young Aldar, and her Archonite cat, which she bent down to pat. The cat's fur looked remarkably beautiful, with its translucent yet refractive nature, making the cat look quite colourful from any angle. After petting it, she ventured to a nearby intercom panel and replied, :: I'm on my way. We have an Aldar visitor and her pet cat. I don't think they mean any harm. ::
Gina could literally picture Talann doing a double take in the cockpit before his voice came on the intercom again, and on one of the lower decks, she heard the heavy footfalls of three men.
:: Excuse me?!? What visitor??? ::
The warbles and bleeps announced R2-13's arrival, as the astromech droid wheeled forward, and he was querying Alena in his binary language as to what purpose she was there. Talann stormed in, just as Bhako, Labrot and Gan appeared from the corridor across Talann, leaving Alena quite surrounded.
“Alena,” said Gina, “Meet Talann Travian, Bhako, Labrot, Gan. And that's R2-13.”

L istened as Gina explained what had happened at the battle. She had vaguely what had happened but it was interesting to hear from the perspective of one who was actually there. "What was it like? Were you there?" She would ask, not fully processing, because of her age, that it may have been a difficult memory for anyone present at the battle. Then her attention turned to the loud male voice coming over the intercom. Zurai jumped at the noise and moved into a defensive posture but he quickly calmed down as he sensed no fear from Alena. "Guess we found him" she said with a slight chuckle. Gina responded and then Alena heard the shock and surprise in who she assumed was Talann's voice when he was told there was a visitor. A droid wheeled in and beeped at her urgently. " Calm down calm down I mean no harm" she said as her hands raised in the air as if to indicate her innocence. She lowered them as she heard heavy footsteps approach the corridor she was in. Eventually everyone, including Talann, had appeared. She probably should have been scared at being surrounded yet she only felt a small amount of apprehension. Besides, she didn't sense much of a threat through the Force. Maybe some annoyance but it didn't seem aggressive. She looked over at the four men and the droid which had appeared and waved "Hello! My name is Alena and this is Zurai" she said with a smile. "Nice to meet you!"

[ Lord Talann Travian | Corridor | Deck Two | S1A-13 Light Cruiser, The Star Onyx | Serenno’s Open Terrain | Serenno ] Attn: Alena SunbreakerBhako laughed aloud when Alena said she meant no harm. Mostly because no one heard of a malicious Aldar. If they fought or killed, they most certainly had a good reason. The truth was, though, it would be up to Talann, and when he heard they'd picked up a visitor, Talann wasn't really annoyed. Aldar were a curious bunch, but they were never ever a nuisance, not even at their most enthusiastic. The only thing was he was in a hurry to get going to find out about what his new inheritance and responsibilities entailed.
But when he arrived and saw the girl, he paused as visions flashed before his eyes; He saw a shadowy silhouette of a woman standing on a large body of water, holding out a hand to him, asking, “It is coming for you. Will you accept my boon?”
There was a flash of light before his eyes and he saw the girl, Alena, before him, only she was dressed a little differently, staring ahead into an inferno, before glancing back at him, smiling, and then she's leaping high into the air, and landing atop an insectoid reptilian bipedal carnivore he'd vaguely seen somewhere before, and rushing headlong towards said inferno.
The vision changed again, and now he was in space and witnessing a star shattering. Not exploding, but shattering to pieces. And then just like that, it was over. He realized he was staring blankly for who knows how long, but Gina, R2-13 and his friends were all watching him curiously, before he said, “Talann...Talann Travian...forgive me, Alena, but what would your last name happen to be?”

Zurai watched everyone in the room closely. He was slightly more attentive than usual, just in case there was any indication of a threat. He was small but if need be he would be fierce. His only goal was to protect Alena. One of the men seemed to zone out though and Zurai tilted his head quizzically, as did Alena, and watched him. A feeling, which could be equated the the question 'whats going on?', was sent to Alena through the Force.
Alena stared at the male who appeared distracted. She could sense that something was bothering him but what, she wasn't sure. She felt Zurai ask the same question as her and she shrugged. She had no idea what was going on either. Eventually the male seemed to snap out of it and announced himself as Talann Travian. "Sunbreaker. The name is Sunbreaker" she said with a smile. She waited a couple of seconds and then asked out of concern, "Are you ok?"
