The opening to the complex was, at one point, well hidden deep in the trees. From an orbital view, it would look like another feature of the terrain, that is before the emergence of the droid army contained within. Now it was a stripped cleaning with vegetation ripped from the roots and crushed by malice.
James was less than bothered by this fact as he had his own adepts clear a massive area themselves. He clicked his comms to let the tower know he had arrived, and he began his slow descent into the metallic caves.
It was quiet, with only the electric hum of old air circulation systems breaking the void. The air was dry and stale, which would make sense for the containment of the droid army left waiting here. As the light from the outside dimmed, he lit off his saber to provide illuminance as he proceeded forward. Lights weren't necessary for a droid army, or in this case the lack of one.
We wandered around for several minutes, slowly taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the facility. Anything he could use to locate the old Koorivar controlling the army.

The blue blade growled in the silence of the facility. The deeper he went, the cooler, denser, and more stale the air became. James was just starting to wonder how far he would have to wander when a dim yellow glow appeared ahead of him. He proceeded cautiously, listening for any signs of activity and feeling out through the Force only to be met with emptiness. Puzzling.
Turning into the lit room he was greeted by the mummified corpse of a Koorivar leaning forward in a chair. There were wires hooked up to metallic plugs on the back of the neck, and dry tubes disappearing under the clothes and attached to the arms that rested on the armrests. In front of the mummy on the desk a large, thick holodisplay provided the yellow illumination of the room. James leaned over to examine the mummy when a blue hologram appeared. James initially raised his saber in response, then lowered it to his side with the tip just off the floor.
So, you have found me. And it appears my army was no match for your defenses. No worries, I knew they lacked their true capabilities. Time seems to have its way with things.
The Koorivar motioned toward his mummified corpse and then began to wander around the room. The light from the hologram lit up a display case of models and carvings. The Koorivar continued.
I was the administrator of this facility, set to guard against Republic invasion oh so many years ago. It seems this small outpost was forgotten by the Confederacy, but I was dedicated to my mission. Then one night, a massive storm ripped out our communications. Then supply runs became less frequent before suddenly stopping altogether. But the mission was paramount, so I did what I had to do.
James stood at the entrance for a while before joining the hologram that was wandering around the room musing about the past. James lifted his blade to illuminate various features and awards and carvings.
You didn’t once think that the war was over?
No. I was never given word or command. So, I carried on.
There was a sad resignation in his voice.
Besides, even if it were, what would I do? I had no way to communicate and no way to travel. There are no speeders in this facility, no shuttlecraft, and nothing for me back home.
The Koorivar hologram looked over at James
Tell me, what happened?
James looked at the hologram and then back at the wall of trinkets. With a sigh, he began to divulge the history that he knew. It took some time and a few redactions as he remembered and sometimes misremembered events. The Koorivar hologram listened intently and nodded. After several minutes of silence, he finally spoke.
Well then, I suppose I truly have nothing. I died years ago and only transferred my consciousness to a computer to continue my vigilance. Now that I no longer have an army to maintain, I suppose I can die in peace knowing I did what I could for the Confederacy.
You could come back with me; we could-
He stopped as the Koorivar hologram raised a hand and shook his head.
I want to die, master Jedi. I have lived too long. My mind has withered, and that was before it was placed into code. I have nothing to add to this universe. I want you to shut off power to this facility once and for all.
James nodded
Very well. Are there any burial traditions you wish to observe?
The hologram looked over, amused. He chuckled.
Oh, with that old thing over there. I don’t care what you do with it. Leave it, blow it up, burn it, piss on it. I don’t care.
James cracked a smile and then headed for the door.
I don’t even know your name, Koorivar.
The air was silent save for the hum of the open holodisplay and the growl of the lightsaber. It was over a minute before there came a response.
Neither do I, master Jedi. Goodbye.
The hologram dissipated in a shower of sparks. James was alone once more. He thought for a few moments as he determined what he would do next. With a sigh, he resigned himself and set out to the task ahead of him.

James came upon the wreckage of the droid army, frozen in silence if not completely destroyed. Hundreds of super battle droids stood motionless as the breeze whistled through their rusting frames. Walker droids lay toppled over their frozen comrades, sputtering sparks and starting small fires in the trampled underbrush.
Dozens of soldiers moved through the ranks, deactivating the droids and putting out fires as they went. James simply walked toward the central tower through the broken wall, shaking his head at the wanton destruction and chaos.
-Karel Rei- Jogging up to James, Karel bowed his head and walked along beside.
Master, I would like to head up the recon team to dig into the ruins you found. Several of our orbital scans are revealing some interesting structures buried in the forest, now that we know what signatures to look for.
-Edward James Wright- He pondered for a moment and stopped, turning to his Adept and nodding.
Yes, make sure you aren't needed further in the fields. And take Patar and Donnu with you, I believe they may be able to help in your investigations.
Karel nodded in agreement and ran back out onto the silent battlefields. James continued onward toward the citadel.
As he neared it, a protocol droid approached him and wordlessly handed him a datapad. He took it and continued into the citadel with the droid waddling behind him slowly.
The datapad showed a camera feed of a landing pad. On it, a Corellian freighter had just set down, and several of the occupants exited and departed. He fast forwarded the feed several minuted to where it was surrounded by police, noting the logos and decals were very distinct. He paused it and boarded the lift to take him to his office.
The police cruisers orbited the vessel for a few moments before one landed, the occupants heading to the closed boarding ramp of the freighter. After several minutes, the ramp opened, and some fire was exchanged.
He exited the lift and headed into his office where he put the holofeed on a larger, three-dimensional display he could walk through. The same moment the fire was exchanged in the vessel, another police cruiser emerged from a nearby tunnel and crashed into the parked cruiser. A man tumbled out before impact, and an odd-looking droid jumped out running and stopping. It was all fast-paced, and James had to slow down the video feed. The droid began firing on the orbiting police cruiser as the turret atop the freighter came to life on its own - unoccupied - and fired a single direct hit, blowing the police cruiser out of the sky. By the time the laser bolts impacted the small vessel, the strange looking droid had raced to the boarding ramp and fired two shots into the two officers, killing them. Moments later, the ship ascended and disappeared from the feed.
James paused the video at a single still frame of the ship, blurry as it ran from the scene. He walked over to his desk and leaned forward, staring at the barely visible occupants. He hit an intercom.
Find this crew.

James was reviewing the situation logs from deep in the old Confederate bunker. Years of neglect had left many of the tunnels to the forces of nature. Some had been crushed under continental drift and would need to be re-discovered. Others had been flooded out, and some had become home to more violent fauna and flora in one odd instance. Regardless, the expeditions were going as smoothly as could be expected.
Several days had passed since the ill-fated droid invasion. Repairs were underway on the wall and the turrets. A fresh wave of dropships were inbound with additional defensive weaponry for the remaining crews. Several tests of the shields and quad turbolaser turrets surrounding the citadel were performed as well as the installation of multiple instances of retractable CIWS/C-RAM turrets and the missile launcher systems. If there was to be another invasion, they would be met with fire and fury.
With the word from the expedition teams that there may be even greater firepower hidden atop the plateaus on either side of the valley, he ordered another wave of engineers to come in and assist with the reconstruction of the Confederate base.
He pushed back from his desk as he finished reading the daily report when a gray hologram appeared next to him. The dark robed Mirialan woman bowed her head, and he turned to greet her, bowing his in return.
Denee Aalaan, how goes your search?
- Denee -
She looked at him with gleaming eyes, damp with tears and a smile on her face. It was unlike her, really. Normally she was fairly stoic, a paragon of Jedi ideology. I found him. Without a shadow of a doubt, I found him. He is on Arkania, and he is barely alive, kept in kind of a fugue state but it cracked for a brief moment, I felt it. She folded her hands in front of her and looked down. I know I am a bit emotional at the moment, but I can’t help myself. I haven’t seen him in years, and I am just happy he is alive. I wish to know what my next step is.
- James -
He turned and looked out over the courtyard that surrounded the tower. There is a crew of smugglers that recently - it’s really is a mixture of defense and attack - did some damage on Coruscant. Several police officers lost their lives along with two wanted criminals. All members of the smuggling crew seemed to get away unharmed from what I saw on the footage given to me by my contacts there at central intelligence. While their exact location now is unknown, there is a good idea of where they headed. I told them that if they gave me alone the bounty on them, I would forego the reward and they agreed. He looked back over at his adept who was looking at him with intense curiosity. So, I want you to take on the bounty of locating them, and I want you to recruit them to escort you down to Arkania. You already have the shuttle and the necessary disguises, that was the plan.
- Denee -
Her curiosity got the better of her, and she tilted her head to the side with a fast twitch as she tried to understand what she was being told. You want me to find a band of thugs to help me rescue my brother? I think there is a better-
- James -
He interrupted her with a raised hand and a shake of his head. These aren’t your run of the mill stereotypical thugs. He pulled up several still images of the crew and their ship. Look. Their ship is almost immaculate. The crew, clean cut for the most part and they blend in with the crowd. If my intelligence is to be believed - He pulled up just the images of the crew - aside from the odd droid and the person in the armor - they all have some form of military background. Several may be less than likely to go near the First Order due to their previous proximity. These people are probably your best bet to getting your brother.
- Denee-
As James replayed the attack on the Corellian freighter, Denee looked on with a mixture of curiosity and horror.
That droid though, what is it that it acts with such precision. It's horrifying.
- James -
He shrugged and shook his head. I don’t know. I, nor any of my contacts, have never seen anything like it before. But that will play in your favor. If you go in as a Jedi capture force - black ops - they won’t question its effectiveness. He closed out of the images and pulled up a hologram of the galaxy and the last known direction of the Corellian freighter. Last known direction was straight into the core along the Corellian Run.
- Denee -
She held her chin and began to wander around as she thought. It’s likely they are moving to the more lawless regions of the galaxy, away from the First Order. Many of their sources would be in that direction, so it may have been more force of habit to have them run that direction. Ryloth may be their primary source, and they may make runs out from there. But it would be odd that it would be their base of operations; the planet it too hostile. They seem to be a crew of means and some form of wealth, so their runs may be lucrative. Being mostly human or near human by appearances, they could get away with a lot without suspicion. She looked up at James, still pinching her chin. I have a few planets I will begin searching. However I have a strong gut feeling they are in a nice world, well-off, but relatively quiet. No reason to attract attention to them or their apparent wealth. She looked around a bit, as though she were being told something. It was her mind winding through several possibilities, and she mouthed the names of several planets before shaking her head. Suddenly, she looked up and then over at James. I will start on Osarian, but I am certain that is where they are.
- James -
He was impressed with the intuition of his student, and he nodded
The bounty is all yours. May the Force be with you.
She did a little hop-skip of excitement and bowed as the hologram faded. James turned back to the large window with a sigh and a smile. His Adepts were his pride.

An Acclamator ascended into the evening clouds; its hull emptied after another cargo run to the old Confederate base. Several weeks of excavation and repair work went into making the bunker a livable space once more. Plans were already underway to tunnel between the tower and the bunker, letting the forest grow back over the trampled path left in the wake of the last droid insurrection.
Karel was busy directing a team of engineers when Donnu and Patar came running up to him. He continued giving directions to the engineers before sending them away, all while looking inquisitively at his comrades.
=Karel Rei= Catch your breath and tell me what you found.
=Patar Squito= We. . . broke . . . through the wall. . . of rock.
=Donnu Ja= Hidden Planetary Defense cannon.
=Patar Squito= Huge! Massive!
=Karel Rei= Karel looked at them with concern and bit his lower lip for a moment before holding and stroking his chin with his right hand.
We knew there would be some powerful tech back here. Why did you run all the way-
=Donnu Ja= It’s still active
=Karel Rei= Oh? Let’s take a cart, shall we?
The three of them jumped into a free cart nearby and raced into the facility. The other two Jedi must have sprinted all the way from their location, as the four-kilometer ride took them several minutes to arrive at the newly discovered reactor core.
They got out and began inspecting the buzzing reactor. Closer inspection revealed it had burned through most of its fuel just idling. New deliveries would need to be made but having a working gun this early was a real boon.
The three Jedi walked into the control room and began working on decoding the encryption keys to get the overhead doors open once more. The primary problem was most of the gears were rusted together. Activating the motors just led to a terrible moaning of metal and fatigue. Karel put in an order to get some techs in to begin repairs on the massive door and the ascension mechanism for the cannon.
Based on the schematics, another such gun existed on the opposite side of the valley on the mesa top across from them, and a planetary ion cannon resided somewhere on the back wall of the valley. There used to be a shield generator for the facility, but the core had long since ruptured and contaminated the surrounding forest. Cleanup would take months before a new one could be installed.

Ulric had lost track of the months and weeks his soldiers had laid siege to this holdout of those who stood in his way to support Saffia. All his vehicles had been hulled-down with good firing arcs on the Fortress. His forces had also dug trenches almost totally surrounding the hold out. But now the trenches were shin deep with water and the mud made moving a chore. The forces of House Malvern were still in good spirits, as every counter attack had been repealed and sent fleeing back into the fortress. But the walls and shields of this place were too strong, and the supplies too well stockpiled. The old Knight decided it was time to employ a tactic from a bygone era. He had ordered troops to begin to undermine the walls. But this rain storm had put a halt to that, as the tunnels filled with water. With his beard sopping wet and his golden armor covered in mud head to toe, he watched as a volley was fired by the AT-TEs just to remind the enemy that they are trapped.

The amount of destruction that had to be cleaned up was immense, but the acquisition of the Confederate bunker and subsequent defensive weaponry was a boon. While casualties were limited to injuries and a couple of instances of lost limbs or appendages, the losses at the tower were limited, a further blessing from any celestials who had sided with them that day.
Now that repairs to the outer wall were about to be completed, James took the opportunity to walk the grounds of his new temple in the forest. It was a perfect time for meditation and reflection on all that had been accomplished in recent months.
However, James' meditative walk was cut short when his datapad sounded off. Looking over the message, he furrowed his brow.
I guess the walk can wait then.
He activated the small holo-disc, and a young man appeared at attention.
Gale, I need you to prepare my shuttle. You and I are headed to Saffia to have a meet and greet.
The young man nodded, and the hologram vanished. With a sigh, he headed back toward his tower.

Elsewhere on Serenno, in the mountainous regions of the planet, sat the city of Fusio. True to its name, the city was a fusion of new and old, with the spires of the gateway concealing modern-day satellite arrays, concealed turrets, and a whole host of other defenses meant to keep out intruders to the mining city. However, while it would first appear that this gateway protected nothing more than a small village, this couldn't serve as further from the truth. The true city lay buried beneath the mountain, with a single bridge from the gateway leading to the cavernous space that housed the city. And so, while those on the surface fought for control of their lands, the House Conclair and its people were able to stay tucked away underground, safely. While the Dark Jedi knew of their existence, it was only as a village of miners who exported gold to the city in small enough quantities not to be noticed, in order to trade for enough food to sustain themselves. This, however, could not be further from the truth, for beneath this cover lay a glowing, highly productive metropolis. Thankfully, the city's leader was able to see far enough into the future to tell that stability would not last on Serenno, and so stockpiled enough food to provide for the city for several years to come. All while continuously maintaining their high output of raw metals to be stockpiled for future use. However, with the recent, extremely dramatic shift in the balance of power on the planet, Fusio had to prepare to reintegrate itself back into the world it had left behind. While Mansfield himself had always anticipated this day would come, many in his court had not, and so a squabble had broken out over whether or not to break the city's cover and rejoin the surface world between the Lord's advisors. And so the echoes of the debate could be heard throughout the entirety of Cowle Rock, as nobody could decide on a proper course of action to take. Mansfield himself was extremely annoyed by all the noise, as he had a plan in motion, and usually, his inferiors knew better than to question his decisions, and so he had been forced to take actions into his own hands. Placing the entirety of his council under close watch for treason, he sent his son Caspian to make an extension of an alliance to the nearest city on the planet, Fiyarro...Gateway to Fusio Fusio

After the meeting with his aides had reached no fruition, Mansfield had sat down to dinner with one of his sons, Remington, in the combined dining-strategy room of Cowle Rock. The red banners that hung in the room contrasted sharply with the grey colors that made up the walls of this section of the fortress, buried deep within the walls. Normally, he would have instead eaten in the formal dining room, that sat atop the keep, but one could not be careful enough in times as turbulent as these. However, what made it all the more pressing was the fact that he and Remington were planning their next few moves.
Laid out across the large strategy table was a terrain map of Serenno, with the various current borders, army sizes, and locations, lead keeps, and the leaders of those territories. Poring over the map, Remington moved a handful of markers around based on the current developments on the planet.
"So it would appear that the influence of the Dark Jedi has dwindled far more significantly than we first thought. The Jedi have advanced here, and here, with a heavy presence of soldiers in Saffia and Fiyarro. Worryingly, it would seem that they have begun advancing into the mountains, meaning they will likely come in contact with our patrols at some point.
Mansfield stopped for a moment to consider what the current situation was. It had played out, for the most part, as he had expected. However, events had transpired far quicker than he had first thought they would. However, it would appear that this lord in Fiyarro had the greatest military power, and so it was prudent to form alliances with him above all else.
"We must accelerate our plans. I've dispatched Lucretia to visit the new patriarch of House Malvern. And even if his soldiers attack, we have the advantage on the mountainous terrain."
Turning up from the strategy table, Remington looked dead into the face of his father, who wore a reserved expression for now.
"Father, can you be certain that an alliance will be struck? We don't even know this man."
Mansfield stayed silent for a few moments, giving his son a few moments to both regret questioning his decisionmaking, as well as to make him somewhat uncomfortable.
"My son, you must know by now. Your sister can be incredibly... convincing towards men. While she may not have foresight, the fact of the matter is she is a useful tool in how she can manipulate others."
"Yes father."
While the Lord did not hate any of his children, he recognized their strengths and weaknesses. Caspian was extremely brash but was a masterful warrior, and thus was best suited to lead the armies into battle. His daughter, while extremely cunning and manipulative, did not have the wisdom to use her abilities well. Only Remington possessed the traits that the patriarch would want to see in a leader, and his son was well aware of that fact. And so he felt comfortable that he would not be betrayed by his youngest son, for he was likely to inherit the family estate as opposed to his other children. As such, he would often times invite Remington to join him at the strategy table in order to learn a thing or two. He would accept his father's advice and incorporate it into his own strategy.
"Remember, while it is important not to exaggerate the capabilities of your assets in your mind, know their strengths and weaknesses. Play to them. And remember, above all else, show confidence in front of those you know will not betray you."
"Yes, father."
"This is only the first step of my plan. If all goes as I have forseen, House Conclair will once again be a name feared across Serenno."

Torvus ~The Dathomirian Enclave~ Within the lush rainforest areas of Serenno, spires could be seen from afar of where the descendants of the Dathomirian Witch enclave had settled a long time ago, back when the Nightsisters had once more overtaken rulership of the planet. With the witches having found a safe route over the Hydian way towards the world of Serenno it was mainly due to the gratitude of the former ruling counts, that the witches were able to claim a portion of the land in exchange for their council and guard service, as lightside force users were respected within these dark times. The colony prospered well, increasing its numbers tremendously when settlers from other parts of the planet and from outside, refugees from Iridonia, seeked their luck in joining the local community, resulting in a boominh increase. Nowadays around 15,000 settlers, mostly of Dathomirian, Zabrak and human origin claim the city of Torvus as it was named, their home.
Although the witches lived for most of the time autonomous and retained their culture as best as they could, breeding Rancors and other lifeforms, which they brought from Dathomir within the forest expanse, while teaching their younglings in the ways of the witches, they had quickly adapted to the local lifestyle of the Serennian people, deciding by the ammount of expansion that each family of force users may be able to claim and inherit land within their own rights. The local countess, the Lady Mother of Torvus, was supposedly the Clan Mother of the enclave, the strongest force user, although her family would inherit the authority over the entire enclave. In the end the Sisters settled that her rule might always be contested if the Lady Mother proofs to rule inefficently, though it rarely occured within the past as the Drashi bloodline of the founding Clan Mother had always a strong connection towards the force, even in exile.
The Serenno Dathomirians despise the ways of the Dark Side and thus the local witches and witchers, whose rulership over their bestowed regions can be seen as similiar as how a regular lord would gouvern a region, will always fight back any attempt of individuals following this way, either by punishing means or even at the cost of lifes, if it was necessary - even if it meant to rally their own people against another witch, who had abbandoned the old ways while seeking her fortune within the dark side. Luckily those incidents occured rarely within the past of the enclave, though these very few incidents resulted within a slow militarization, wheras a majority of the enclave's citizens could always be called to war, if the witches required their services. Around the time of Mother Deane Drashi, the mother of the current Lady Mother Gaelle Drashi, the forming of a enclave-wide militia, called the Kodashi Lancers was established, as the access to melee weapons like energy staffs and energy lances had increased with the upcoming trade and the constant adaptation to otherworldly technology.
Within recent time though, Torvus was plagued like many other Serennian settlements by a sudden planetary uprising of Clone Wars battle droids, which even marshed upon the newly founded city from the mountainous areas. Although the dense jungle itself was able to destroy a majority of their armies, the Enclave struggled nontheless to fight back the invaders. When Lady Mother Deane fell, Gaelle overtook quickly while managing on the frontline to fight back the droid invaders. With the menace being solved, reports from Saffia of similiar uprisings arrived eventually at the court of Torvus. Without hesitation, Gaelle Drashi ordered her local witches to aid within the defense from the unknown invaders, as she wasn't willing to allow any future threat for her people and the people of Serenno to settle within other parts of the planets. Thus the marsh of the Dathomirian Enclave towards one of the major settlements of the planet was inevetable.

In the snow covered mountains of Serenno, lays the Stronghold of House Rathbone, known as Winterhold, which was constructed to be a part of the mountain itself. It side of the stronghold and the mountain is the underground city of Rath. While House Rathbone may not be one of the largest houses on Serenno they are however a strong and proud house. The current Lord of House Rathbone is Charles Rathbone, he is considered a strong and wise Lord. His advisers say that he has the strength of his father and the wisdom of his mother, and while Charles can be quite at times, no one questions it as that's how he has always been. Charles prefers to think things through before acting on the impulse. Having been trained in the ways of the Jedi, Charles understands the importance of keeping one's emotions in check but since he was also raised to be a warrior and a future head of the house, he also understands the need to act sometimes before knowing all moving parts in play as time is usually never on their side. Charles Rathbone was standing out on a tower, he watched as his troops prepared to march down the mountain and assist the other Houses in Saffia. He had received reports of Dark Jedi attacking and he wasn't just going to all them to kill innocent people. He would lead them into battle as was his duty as Lord of the house, Charles walked back inside and continued down the tower's staircase where his younger brother Isaac waited for him. Charles could see that Isaac had Longclaw in his hand, Isaac spoke as he handed Charles his sword. So you're off to Saffia?"Yes and while I'm gone, Robb is acting Lord. So try to listen to him"I will try, but Robb makes it hard to listen to him.Charles and Isaac walked and talked as Charles tightened his belt that carried his sword. Once they exited Winterhold, Charles' troops were getting into their transports, HAVw A5's. Charles' spine wolf who he had tamed with the help of the force ability known as Animal bond, was waiting for him. Charles walked up to his spine wolf and climbed on and they rode off with the troop transports following behind them.

Telandra trekked through the forest with nothing more than the clothes on her back and a small backpack filled with a couple tomes and relics from her home. When the First Order had brutally invaded Dathomir, the Winged Goddess had smiled upon her. Allowing her a chance to escape her homeworld with what few items of her heritage that she could carry before the usurpers had taken over with the aide of those faceless devils.
It was through the Goddesses blessing that she had managed to find a spacecraft that transported her from Dathomir and across the great void. When at last it had landed, she found herself upon the world of Serenno. For what reason, she knew not why. At least that was the case when she had first landed. But over the last few weeks her perception had changed. She had heard tales of a clan of Witches that had settled on Serenno.
It was to this hidden city, known as Torvus, that Telandra was currently headed to. In hopes of reconnecting with a remnant of her people to pledge her services to and continue her training. She came to a stop as she reached the outer reaches of the city, marveling at the city her people had built here

It was to this hidden city, known as Torvus, that Telandra was currently headed to. In hopes of reconnecting with a remnant of her people to pledge her services to and continue her training. She came to a stop as she reached the outer reaches of the city, marveling at the city her people had built here Compared to Dathomir, Telandra would notice that the temple-like buildings, which made up the skyline of the growing city, where more modern in appearence as the streets of Torvus were filled by a mixture of local wildlife, ancient architecture and modernized technology. Zabrak and humans, some of them probably being of Dathomirian descent as well, were mostly filling up the streets, only here and there other racial beings could be sighted as the enclave itself seemed to be isolated. Speederbikes and other civil hovercrafts could be spotted rarely as she continiued her way up towards the main building of the city.
Around the main plaza nearby the temple fortress, the center of the city, several more guardsmen could be spotted, their energy lances not solely being a symbolic weapon as they patroled around. Four of the lancers guarded the main gate, an open wide door, which would lead inside the larger temple - a monument of spiritual power, built for eternity.

As she collected herself, Telandra made her way into the city. Heading through the streets on foot, she took in the architecture and the people that lived here. Despite its relative isolation from the rest of the world, there were still plenty of strange species living here amongst the people. Perhaps in time, she may come to call them her own people. But for now, she was still an outsider as she headed toward the Temple Fortress. She approached one of the Lancer Guards as she came to the main gate I have come to seek an audience with Matriarch Drashi...

She approached one of the Lancer Guards as she came to the main gateI have come to seek an audience with Matriarch Drashi... Given of how stern the Zabrak guard eyed the strange woman approaching him, one could have assumed that he wasn't pleased at all by the request to let in a stranger into the temple. Yet, despite his bulky appearence, he actually nodded and left his position, leading the way for Telandra. "Follow me", the guardsman merely told her, while few moments after they had left another guardsman from the upper levels has taken the position, which was left by the former. It seemed that meetings with the matriarch were common and mostly handled relaxed.
Thus they entered the temple fortress' halls, the long hallway inside reminding more of an ancient temple as pillars, fitting with the outside style of architecture, were rooting towards the ceiling in order show how massive this sanctum was. Although the halls were guarded as well, a majority of young acolytes, Sisters and Brothers alike could be seen for most of the time within the corridors as they went along, passing by several rooms. Passing by one of the windows, Telandra could even hear the noises of Rancors nearby. Most likely a herd was living outside within the safety of the Temple's gardens.
Eventually they arrived at their destination, a throne room where to the sides of the room several shrines and relinquarys could be seen - it was obviously where the matriarch, the Clan Mother of Torvus normaly resided as this room was pretty much the heart of the temple. Roots were spreading from the sides of the room, giving its massive walls an ancient appearence. While on the throne itself, the pale figure of Mother Gaelle Drashi, the recently ascended Clan Mother could be seen. "Welcome to Torvus, Sister", she said, once the guardsman and Telandra stood in front of her, rising from her seat, "I can feel your presence within the Force clearly, now that you stand before me. Tell me what leads you to the enclave." Her voice was calm and friendly, when she spoke as she was curious about her new guest.

Due to her upbringing on Dathomir, Telandra had learned a different lifestyle to that of the Witches on Serenno. To that end, any visible signs of displeasure the man may have shown were entirely ignored by her. As far as Telandra was concerned, men were fit for one thing: to serve the Witches. Their opinions and feelings were inconsequential.
Barely affording the male guard a nod, she followed him as he led the way into the temple fortress. Her attention more often then not upon the architecture of the temple. Some of it seemed familiar to the older styles. But other sections seemed to be a bit more modern and drew inspiration from some outside sources. Something she was distracted from for a moment as she heard the sounds of a Rancor herd.
The Witches had apparently been raising the beasts here over the last several generations. A good sign that many of their traditions were still alive and well. But her attention was once more taken from such thoughts as the guard lead her into the very heart of the temple fortress. A massive throne room at the opposite end of which was seated the Clan Mother. Telandra came to a stop and gave a low bow of respect as Gaelle addressed her. A slight wave of disgust quickly passing through her as the Matriarch spoke of the Force. A term that the Jedi and Sith used to describe the powers they used. Perhaps the Witches here had strayed from the Teachings of Allya and embraced this power of the outsiders.
She retained her composure however. For she was here to find others like her and make a new home for herself amongst the last remaining free Witches Thank you Matriarch, it is a pleasure to be here... I have come seeking a home among my kin, now that Dathomir has fallen to the First Order and the traitorous clans that sided with it... The spirits led me here, to you...

Those with a keen sense of the force and its currents would notice an approaching light, moving fast... too fast. With a brilliant flash in the stratosphere, a Z-3 freighter exited hyperspace. It should not have been able to get so close to the planet, the safeties built into the hyper drive should have pulled it out in high orbit at the latest. The initial flash was followed by a rapid series of lightning strikes against the ship, as the atmosphere was rapidly ionized by the excess energy bled off by the exit from hyperspace. Still, the Z-3 wasn't obviously damaged, but it did plummeted towards the planet for several silent moments... then be boom of a hypersonic entry echoed across the land below followed by the rumble of distant thunder. The vessel, covered in rust splotches, scorch marks, and grime from countless star ports seemed to free fall, but was in fact using it's repulsors to slow it's decent, and maneuvering thrusters to shift vectors. The sense of light, dimmed as the pilot, and sole occupant, began expending his gathered force energy to aid his ship's straining engines... While filing a thought about upgrading engines in a mental box labeled "Open Later." As one might guess, the box was rarely opened except to add to it's contents.
The ship shuddered and groaned as it was pushed towards the nearest town no his sensors, barely avoiding crashing into the canopy below. Though the taller branches snapped, or shook violently, against the ventral hull for a brief but suspenseful moment. Sparks sputtered from the shield array controls, the shields having collapsed completely in the prior intense ion storm. Just another system that needed replacing instead of a jury rig patch. The sense of light moved with the ship as Mahir used the last of his gathered energy to hold the ship more or less together. Force navigation was useful, but it rarely included any useful information about the destination. And having entered so close to planet, he didn't have a good read of the stars to make a guess either... Oh well, the force wanted him here, so he was here. He just wondered why it seemed so urgent... the city before him looked normal enough.
He set his battered ship down a few hundred meters outside the city, and was surprised that nothing fell off this time. Humming happily to himself he gathered his rucksack and stepped down the ramp. As he began walking towards the city, he got only a few steps before realizing the ramp was still down and that he was holding the force energy in and around the ship. He released the energy as he turned to hit the ramp controls, but leaped back at the sudden screeching of metal rending and scrapping against itself as the entire ship seemed to just deflate on the spot. He stared at his ship, or it's remains, now in more pieces than it would be if Lego had made it. He choked on the cloud of rust and dust that billowed up, and was glad that his fuel tanks had been running low anyway as sparks spurted between the settling hull plates. On the bright side, now he didn't have to worry about getting his engines replaced.
With a sigh, Mahir turned back to the city and walked towards it, hoping to find someone who could tell him where he was, and maybe even a scrapper to sell the pile of pats that had been his ship just minutes ago...Continued in the fair city of Fiyarro...

For she was here to find others like her and make a new home for herself amongst the last remaining free WitchesThank you Matriarch, it is a pleasure to be here... I have come seeking a home among my kin, now that Dathomir has fallen to the First Order and the traitorous clans that sided with it... The spirits led me here, to you... Gaelle remained calm about these news, though Telandra could tell, that the Clan Mother was surprised by these news. A pause followed before she spoke up, assumingly taking her some time to think through her answer. "It surprises me to hear these news and yet I feel not delighted by news of the Nightsister's fall", she then answered truthfully, before eyeing Telandra once more, as there was curiousity in her eyes, "Tell me more, Sister. I wish to know more about the planet, which my ancestors called home - especially when it comes to more recent occursions. I can sense a growth of darkness across this world already and yet my vision is clouded when it comes to the rest of the galaxy. Your knowledge might be important for the enclave and its future as well, Sister, keep this in mind! Every detail, may it be so little can be important."
Although her voice didn't indicate it, the Clan Mother was worried when hearing what Telandra said. She had heard of the First Order eventually here and there on the local marketplace. It might be a good sign that Dathomir was freed from its major threat in the form of the Nightsisters, but if it was done by outsiders, everything was possible. It could mean a recovering for the Clans and the Light Side, but as well it could also mean an even darker path for the world, who was considered to be her true origin by the means of blood.
