The Telosian Jedi Academy was founded by the Jedi Master Atris during the Jedi Civil War, in the wake of the Attack on Dantooine when the Jedi Enclave there was sacked by the Revan's Sith Empire. The Academy was hidden within a large plateau in the polar region of Telos IV, which had been used to house the Telos Polar Irrigation System.

A brand new knight; a young human male to join now join the prestigious ranks of those Jedi that had come before him. Those that had lived, fought and died for the beliefs in the Jedi Code and those that now stood as keepers and protectors of the Galaxy's peace. His frame stood at about six feet and two inches, muscles sculpted to an athletic and toned fashion. His hair, blackened like charcoal, was trimmed to somewhat of a fade on his scalp. His tunic, onyx in color, gently caressed his figure, not tight, yet not baggy. Clasped to his belt was the weapon he'd made toward the end of his training, one fashioned in a manner more suitable for him than the first he'd made. The hilt was roughly thirty-six inches in length and carried a focusing lens in each end to focus the two powerful, green blades. But, the special part about this weapon, was its ability to separate and become not one, but two lightsabers. There were other items and tools tucked into the utility belt that lined his waist.
He reached to his belt now with his right hand to his left hip, where the hilt of his lightsaber hung, and unhooked it from his belt. The craftsmanship was the best he'd ever made, but there was still room for improvement. There was always room for improvement. He extended his arm out in front of him now, and balanced the hilt of the weapon on a single extended finger. Yes, balance was much better with this weapon than of any of the others he'd crafted in the past. Some fifteen or so years spent learning to hone a craft and skill, well several, but always training for one's betterment, and this is how far he'd gotten. A perfectly balanced weapon as far as weight distribution was concerned.
Breathing in deeply, he prepared himself for form practice in the lightsaber combat form Jar Kai. His eyes closed momentarily as he said a brief prayer to himself then, as they opened, the emerald green blades of his lightsaber hissed to life and swung wildly, yet controlled through the open air. Swishes and smears of green flashed through the air as his flourishes increased in speed.

A couple of hours passed by, the weather around them becoming colder, before they turned off onto less beaten tracks and came to a stop. In the distance, could be seen the rising shape of the Telosian Jedi Academy. Harnan exited the speeder and stood looking out at the building, waiting for Kary to follow suit. His HUD was already scanning the perimeter for signs of life as he waited. The place appeared to be somewhat abandoned, though that could have been merely a ruse. But as his scans only picked up a pair of life forms on patrol, he was pretty confident they would not find much resistance here. His gaze remained upon the building as he pulled his lightsaber spear free of his back and held it in both hands It would appear that we might not have too many Jedi to deal with... That should make things a little easier... Means we might have a little more free time to ourselves...

This expedition had taken her back to the anonymity she had loved so much in her previous life, She had been with the Knights no less than six months, it now seemed like a lifetime ago but now; it was all coming back. Anonymity gave her a much needed release from life for when she was anonymous she was free from all ties, from all stresses and thoughts of every day life. She was free to face every day with a reckless abandon, since the death of Elias Kary had felt as if she were training for a marathon, but a marathon with no sight in end, she was never able to outrun her thoughts no matter how fast she ran or how much she pushed herself, but today, today was an exception. As they passed through the bustle of the city and acquisitioned a speeder, not a single person had turned and eyed them with suspicion, no one stood and stared, they had blended in. There were no questions asked when they had bought their speeder, it was paid for and they were free to set of immediately without suspicion and they did so. No sooner had she climbed in and Harnan drove them away did Karys entire demeanour change. She was luxuriating in the freedom of their journey, free from thought and feelings, free from worries or stresses, despite Harnan sitting beside her, even him and their complicated situation failed to make an appearance in her mind, quite simply she could have been alone, not that this fact reflected poorly upon him in anyway, she had for the first time in a long time managed to shut herself temporarily and was taking a much needed break. With the current of fresh air curling around from the visor of the speeder and brushing over her; she tipped back her head, closed her eyes and relished in the moment as her hair danced upon the wind behind her, for the first time in a very long time, her mind was empty. She was relaxed and carefree and it would have been clear to anyone looking upon her to see.
For their entire journey through Thani and to their current destination she had not spoken, quite simply she had not felt the need. Kary was not one who suffered in silence nor did ever feel uncomfortable when in silence when in the company of others, it was just not how she was for she spoke only when she felt she had something to say and this had not been one of those times.
When the whine of the engine changed and lowered in pitch, Kary became aware of the fact that the speeder was slowing. She sat herself upright as she opened her eyes and began to survey their surrounding she pulled her hair loosely behind her head and secured it in place with a simple hair tie before turning to Harnan.
Now she was more aware, she began to notice the drop in temperature and pulled her coat around her more tightly and secured the fastenings. She had become cold without even realising it. She turned to Harnan as she folded her arms around her midsection warming herself more quickly.
Once the vehicle had stopped she climbed out of the speeder and stepped to the side of Harnan and followed his gaze outwards and looked upon the temple in the distance. Finally she began to speakā¦
As reckless as it may seem, I have been hoping for a strong challenge to push me further in my training whilst at the same time testing me. However, if it means more free time I am championing for easy, there are some things I wish to do back in the city before we leave.
She paused briefly to order her thoughts before continuingā¦
I wish to ask you something but please, tell me if I am speaking out of turn. I wish to know more of these artefacts that you are seeking. Once you have found them what are you going to do with them and to what end? The more I know, the more I understand and the more helpful I can be.
Since exiting the speeder her manner matched the demeanour she had during times of training. She was speaking as an apprentice would to a Master, nothing more. Elias had trained her well in that respect. She could switch her roles in an instant whilst requiring little to no effort. Any outward sign of the affection she had for him had been left at the observation deck whilst mentally it was hidden, locked away deep inside without any thought or recognition of its existence, and there it would stay until the job was done and they were safe.

Be careful what you wish for. The Jedi always have a way of delivering what you least want from a mission... He could sense her desire for something stronger, not only in her words but from her being. It was a dangerous thing to yearn for a stronger opponent, especially when things seemed nice and quiet. True enough, it would serve her training well to defeat someone stronger than herself. It might also prove a far more invaluable lesson to be defeated. Her attitude at times, especially ones like these, concerned him. As her teacher, her success and failure was his success and failure. Her actions reflected upon him as her mentor, meaning that her recklessness were a mark against him.
It was then her curiosity about the artefacts that gave him pause. He placed the butt of the spear into the snow and held it there with one hand. He had a very clear goal for what he intended to use these items for. It was a dangerous game that he had planned, with the stakes being higher than ever before. One wrong move, one tiny mistake, and it would all be over. He needed to proceed with caution, and tell her only as much as she needed to know. It would do him no good to reveal more than he had to. Because, whilst he trusted her, such knowledge could place her in danger It is good to be curious and learn as much as you can. I would have perhaps scolded you for not asking such things. As I have already explained, they contain great power and knowledge. They also come in a variety of shapes. Though, they all belong to three different types. First are the swords. Blades made of metal that can withstand the strength of a lightsaber and inscribed with runes. Second are the staffs. They look and function much the same as my lightsaber spear, but they serve a dual purpose. The third and final, are the holocrons. Spherical metallic devices, they hold a great wealth of knowledge, and contain the location of a vault. These vaults can only be opened when using the right staff and holocron together, as a key of sorts. Within, you can access great fonts of knowledge, unrestricted... As for what I will do once I have them... I intend to use them. First, to find a way of ridding myself from this... this darkness which consumes me with every waking moment. The second? well that is something you are better off not knowing....

There was no counter to his logic, he spoke the truth and she knew it, the problem suffered now was that when she became reckless in moments such as these, she felt out of control. As of now, Kary had never been able to rein this side of her in. It took on a mind of its own and came and went as it pleased, much to her frustration for it out an end to all of her mythology, reason, logic and order. It left her feeling completely off balance and she loathed it. He had her full focus as he told her of artefacts and the plans he had for them once they were acquired. Stood where they were had left them exposed to climates, the wind was increasing in strength and carried with it a weak flurry of snow and each gust was chilling Kary to the core. She lifted her hood up over hear head and pulled the collar up around her next, almost instantly she felt the benefits. From the pockets of her coat she pulled her black Jumbas hide gloves and then unclipped her saber from her belt and let it rest in her right hand.
There were 2 key points of his explanation that had caught her attention above all others, he had said how he wished to rid himself of the darkness that consumed him, she knew of this darkness and had experienced it first hand though she could not be sure that she had seen it at its worst. Kary was sure that the cause of this darkness was Illaria, she tormented his every waking thought, she played him like a fool, giving him hope where there was none, allowing him a taste of his briefest desire, then holding him away at arms length and preventing him from every finding love and happiness. She hated her for that and if she could eliminate her from his life without him hating her for doing so, she would without a moments thought or regret. In this instance, Kary knew, regrettably, that was not what Harnan was referring to, it was something else, and it was what he had left unsaid that made her fearful. He had entrusted her with more than she could ask for upon this journey, he had told her of matters that he had told no other than Atlantia, her rational on the matter was why tell her all but this one thing? What could possibly be so terrible that he would keep it from her? That scared her above everything else. Whilst here she would leave it be and ask no more, they both needed focus upon the task at hand without the straying thoughts, though in reality this caused Kary a worry she was unsure she would be able to put aside. The fear of the unknown was far worse than the fear that came with knowledge, her mind had a tendency to amplify the fears and take her thoughts to the darkest of places when in reality once the truth was discovered, it was very rarely that as terrible as she had assumed. Desperately Kary hoped this would be true of what he was holding from her whilst something in her told her she was right to be afraid, she feared he was placing himself in very real danger.
For now she bought her focus back to the now and moved her gaze from Harnan to the temple as she spoke.
I am assuming you wish to make the rest of the journey on foot? Do you see anything down there?

He could sense her hesitation at not knowing the second part of what his plan was. She was far safer not knowing what he had planned, and could not be punished if she really did not know anything. He then lifted up his spear as she asked if they were to proceed by foot. Although there was still some distance to the Temple, it was much safer on foot in case there were many more Jedi waiting within the Temple. And whilst his helmet scanners were powerful, they were not that powerful. Anything upon the surface and within a certain range would show up, beyond that, he was essentially blind I'd rather not risk springing some hidden trap if we take the speeder any closer. As for what I can see, looks like there is a couple Jedi on patrol. But keep your eyes open, there may be others laying in wait, and we may not be the only life forms out here... With that, he gripped the lightsaber spear with both hands and dashed off down the side of the slope and then across the open ground towards the Temple. He was certain Kary would waste no time following his lead, as he dashed towards the pair of patrolling Jedi. If there were others around, she would deal with them. As he got close enough, he sung the butt of his spear into the back of the left Jedi's legs, before activating the red blade as he reversed the swing, catching the right Jedi across the back of his shoulder blade. As the injured Jedi turned to face his opponent, Harnan thrust the blade tip into the man's chest. The female Jedi of the pair, whom he had struck first, was starting to recover and get to her feet as he brought the spear around and impaled her upon it.
As he regarded her for a moment, he couldn't help but feel the briefest desire to have impaled her with some thing else. He withdraw the spear then as her body crumpled over and fell to the ground. It was then that he turned to look for Kary, and look out for any other Jedi that might be around

And there it was, the conversation was over and he had moved on. She would wait patiently for the time to come when the moment was right to ask his divulgence, she had an idea of just how she would try and aid his mood along. Kary had little time to ponder over such things for no sooner had he revealed what he was able to see then he was on the move. No sooner had begun to make his way to the slope her mind was empty of all but the task at hand. Already her heart was beating loudly in her chest as she took her first step, the adrenaline was pumping through her at a rapid speed and heightening all her senses. Her cheeks were flushed and she was feeling on top of the world as she set of down the slope behind Harnan. No sooner had she seen the Jedi than she thumbed the pad on her saber and set the blade aglow. Whilst Harnan took care of the two she continued forward at a slower pace whilst carefully observing the area around her.
Approaching the temple two male Jedi emerged from a nearby station, one made his way toward her whilst the other seemed to be busy on his commlink, Kary slowed her pace to a stop and allowed 1 of the men to come to her, She spun her saber in her hand before taking hold of the hilt with both hands. The Jedi slowed but did not stop, he came toward and thrust his yellow blade toward her abdomen whilst Kary, with a simple twist of her wrist deflected his blade by arcing hers and pushing in close to him, she leant back pivoting on the flat of her right foot, and kicked out at his knee with all her strength before bringing her blade back across his face. As the Jedi fell to the ground Kary too began to move toward the other who, by this point clipped his comm link to his belt, the alarm had been sounded, she knew then that they needed to move fast.
She increased her speed enough toward him, he swung his green blade toward her left side catching her bicep, she grimaced as the searing pain coursed through her, yet rather than give into it, she drew upon her teachings and used it instead to power her, she pushed through the pain and used to it fuel her though the pain never left. As his blade passed before her she pushed the tip of her blade forward at his chest and did not stop until the white tip of it was glowed brightly on his back. His blade dropped to the ground while he hung there for a moment impaled. Kary stood motionless for a moment before deactivating her blade and watched the Jedi fall to the ground.
She turned to Harnan with a look of excitement fuelled by the adrenaline of the fight she informed him of her suspicions.
I think the alarm has been sounded, we need to move quickly.

His gaze found Kary a few moments later, just as she finished killing another pair of Jedi. Undoubtedly they had exited the base when he was crossed the distance down the slop and to the two sentries he had taken out. It was the reason he had told Kary to keep her eyes open. She was here to have his back and catch things he might miss whilst dealing with something. He was quite pleased with her work, having managed to handle the pair of Jedi herself. However, his hopes sank a few moments later as she stated that she was pretty sure the alarm had been tripped. If that was the case, then the Jedi would be sending reinforcements to help back up the temple. Meaning that their trip to collect this artefact discreetly would have been for naught Well then, we better get a move on inside. Follow me! He trudged through the snow, making as fast a trip as he could to get to the door. Luckily, a Jedi Knight had been coming out to help his companions as Harnan got there. He thrust his spear forward, impaling the young man upon the blade, before ushering Kary through the door. He quickly moved inside after her, before the door quickly shut behind them. Before them, the Temple opened up into a giant cavern like area, with walkways stretching between various enclosed rooms. In its previous life, it had served as the Telos Polar Irrigation System, but had been retrofitted many years ago. It was strange for him to think that such a place had existed before and even after the rise and fall of the Eternal Empire. It seemed a great injustice to him, that this Jedi Temple had outlasted the great empire that had been borne on Zakuul. And now it played host to an artefact from that which had sought to destroy it Come, we need to find the archives, and quickly. Already the Jedi here are moving to engage us... He pulled the shield from his back then, and attacked it to his left forearm, knowing that he could create a very impenetrable defence in such areas. There was no easy way for the Jedi to get behind them, meaning that the only option of attack was head on. And with the walkways being open, be could easily knock any attackers off the edge. He motioned for Kary to follow beside him then, as he headed across the first bridge, to what looked like an enclosed training room. Glass windows giving them a good view into and out the otherside of it

Had this been any other time and place, Kary would have enjoyed taking the time to absorb the beauty of the architecture. It was just astounding, open and clear making the entire area feel so light. She stayed to the back of Harnan as they continued to make their way to the archives, her gaze scanning the surrounding areas constantly fully aware that at any time they could be set upon by more Jedi. It did not take long before they were in battle once more, but both Harnan and Kary fought together perfectly and eliminated the risk posed to them. The months of training had paid of well, not only had it increased Kary's skill set and made her a better warrior, but it had also given them the skills of fighting side by side with no communication needed.
They were so close now and had come face to face with few opposition, strengthening Kary's belief that this temple was indeed unused and protected by no more than a skeleton crew.
There was a feeling low in her stomach that she could not shake, it felt like butterflies, it had been happening all morning as though tiny little bubbles were popping just below the surface of the skin, she took this to be a sense of foreboding, a warning that something bad was coming and her body was some how trying to warn her. The feeling would come and then go as quickly as it had appeared leaving her confused and nervous, all of which she kept to herself and from Harnan.
After turning another corner and making their way across another bridge the archives appeared in sight...
Do you know where in the archives we need to be looking? Or shall we split up?

Harnan could remember Lincoln expressing doubts about Kary's readiness to embark on a mission before they had left. But despite his friends concerns, he had brought Kary along with him anyway. His theory being, that he could spend all the time he liked training her within the safety of the simulators and back on Muunilinst, but nothing tested a persons mettle like a true trial by combat. And as meagre a defence as it was, Harnan still found himself quite impressed with Kary's skills. The pair working and fighting in near perfect unison.
A part of the familiarity had come from their training together over the past several months. But a far bigger part of it could be attributed to their more personal time together. Whilst it was true their encounters were purely about sex, their was a certain intimacy that two people got, even when using one another as a means of pleasure. You learned how another's body and mind was shaped, felt, and reacted. Even without a more intimate feeling, you still created a connection with one another. You knew when they wanted one thing or another without them having to say a word. Such a connection translated over into battle as well.
Thus it was, that they managed to quickly dispatch the dozen or so Jedi that were acting as caretakers of this Temple. The fact so few Jedi were here, meant that either the Jedi did not know what was hiding here, or that the object had long since been moved. However, as they crossed the final bridge to the archives, he could feel it. The object he sought was still here, and the Jedi had remained none the wiserOh, I know exactly where we need to look. Stay close, there may yet still be Jedi lying in wait...He switched the grip on his lightsaber spear from his right to his left hand as he lead the way into the archives. He looked around, his HUD scanning the area, before he headed straight for the back of the room. He stopped a few feet from it, his gaze resting upon the mural before him. It was a clever slight of hand, but he knew this mural was not all that it seemed. Stretching out his hand, he reached out with the force, grasping upon the hidden locking mechanism within. He began to turn the various pieces of machinery, before a more physical reaction occurred. Slits around the side and down the middle of the mural slid open. Hisses of stale air escape as the locks were released. The mural then shuddered forward, and then split in half as another gush of stale air rushed out from the small chamber within.
Harnan's gaze then rested upon the small golden chamber within, bearing ancient Zakuulan architecture. Without moving, he grasped upon the small round object with the force, lifting it from its pedestal in the middle of the room. The holocron flew rapidly through the air into his awaiting grip, his fingers wrapping around the small ball. He examined it for a moment then, using the force to ensure this was the real deal. Sure enough though, it was the holocron he had been expectingFound you...He quickly pocketed the item, before turning back to face Kary. Their work here was done, he needn't waste time closing the chamber, since after all there was nothing left within. Besides, by the time they worked out what was missing, and what the carvings meant, Harnan would be far ahead of themWe had best get a move on, else reinforcements will be upon us...

They were synchronised in there movement forwards and Kary taking her orders without question. Over her time on Muunilinst, she had grown to have complete faith in Harnan. She respected his experience and knowledge and had faith in his ability as her master. It was this Master and Apprentice relationship that gave her the faith to follow without question in such situations. There was no time for needing reasons, it was all too urgent. In a more casual setting she would ask as that was where she gained her knowledge. There personal relationship was more fraught and complicated, the sex was easy and that is where they were at the best, they knew how to move in order to seek the reaction they wanted, they knew moved in unison and knew each others quirks, away from the sex things were never easy and this was where Kary struggled, though Harnan did not.
The archives were fascinating, had she been able, Kary could have spent days, maybe even weeks in them absorbing all the knowledge that was on offer, to have to leave it all behind was a struggle. Though Kary's tendencies were clearly leaning toward the dark side, her thirst for knowledge did not discriminate. She wanted to learn it all, after all, knowledge was power.
Though standing side ways to give her not only a clear view of Harnan but also of the entrance to the archives, Kary's gaze lingered more upon Harnan movements that any possible trouble. She was taking mental notes of questions to ask when they were safe and leaving the planet behind and so far the list was growing long. It was full of many hows and whys? But she did not fear asking for Harnan encouraged her to do so and if there were questions he did not wish to answer he would tell her so, and so long as she did not push the matter, there was no anger.
When the holocron was settled in the palm of his hand she moved closer and gazed upon it more. It was such a small and inconspicuous thing and this was something that had always surprised Kary, logic would suggest that something that held the greatest power would be something of a grand scale, but this was not normally the case, it tended to be condensed into such an object that the eye would pass over without a second glance.
Once the holocron was out of sight and safely hidden within his pocket, they turned to leave. Kary, placing her saber in her left hand grimaced uncomfortably and with her right hand grasped at the crotch on the backside of her trousers and retrieved the seam from inside her buttocks.
I did not have time to put my knickers back on before getting dressed and leaving the ship, you distracted me. These damn things are riding up my ass! I swear I am putting on weight...
Once settling them comfortably Kary made her way outside of the archives and moved across the bridge.

The Telos system was yet another Socii System under the domain of the Imperium. The colony ship CS-2299 Sapphire Fish had settled to the surface in the far northern reaches, well up into the arctic ranges of the planet. By Imperium standards, the colony was fairly well balanced in its output. It did have one important features that dictated its choice in landing on this particular planet. A small number of Force sensitive volunteers were safely tucked away inside the colony, waiting for the arrival of a reticently hired teacher.
While the teacher might decide to make use of the ancient jedi academy below the Core Ship, it was more likely that it would remain unused. The Fish hosted a population of nearly a thousand citizens. Since that was only one sixtieth of the ship's possible compliment, there was plenty of extra room in the colony. The vast majority of the colony's remaining empty decks & hydroponics bays were carefully sealed up & depressurized waiting for the population to grow enough to warrant reopening them. The majority of the active decks were are the far top of the sphere, with a second cluster near the engines at the base, & an even smaller group near the equatorial hangers. Beyond the living component of the crew, the colony also had nearly three dozen personal shuttles of various models, nearly as many of the standard Imperium shuttle for general use, a small collection of fighter craft, & a large stock of surface vehicles.

Ak-Akari was one such teacher, and from what he had heard was the only one to take the job post that had been listed. That might change but it looked like for now he was in charge of the decidedly too large for comfort population in the colony ship he was now approaching. He had announced his inbound flight path and been cleared for landing, now all that was left was to make his entrance.
"What the hell am I doing here? There's got to be a reason no one else is jumping at the money for this..." He mused aloud as he brought his shuttle in to dock.
It wasn't that he didn't know how to teach, he'd done it before. Granted, an old hermit who turned out to be an amnesiac Jedi Master hardly counted, but there had been a couple others. This was on an entirely different scale though, not to mention how sketchy the basis for this whole endeavor seemed to him. Merging the various disparate force traditions into one cohesive whole? That was madness. For every student who managed it, there'd surely be hundreds who were broken and stunted in some way or another. The conflicting moral codes alone would surely make their heads spin, how does one pick and choose from opposed philosophies without acknowledging the conflicts? It had occurred to him once that maybe the people running this place simply didn't care about the dropouts. He fervently hoped that wouldn't be the case.
"Calm down man, we've been in worse. Keep your head straight. And stop talking to yourself, you're an authority figure now." He chided himself before hiding his true emotions behind a cheerful facade, a smile that would seem genuine enough to anyone who didn't know him well, and stepping down the ramp of his shuttle into the colony ship itself.

As the Jedi exited the shuttle, he was greeted by a small group. From the looks of it, it was a presentation of the students he would be in charge of.
-Attaces Greetings, my name is Attaces & I am the Colony governor. While you are here with us, you will be in command of the students behind me. Food & other necessity will be provided regularly. Other items & resources may be requested from either the supply office or myself directly. We have a section of the colony set aside for you use. Should it be inadequate, we can open up another section of the ship for you. Additionally, the academy below us is also available if you would prefer that.
From the introduction, it was quite clear that while he would have a rather wide range of freedom in teaching the students, he would have no control over the colony that happened to be hosting them.
-Attaces Additionally, we understand that some teaching methods can be rather harsh. All of your students are volunteers, so a fair bit of leeway has been extended to you. However, the Imperium considers them an extremely valuable resource & will not react well to senseless injuries or loss of life.

Ak-Akari's smile broadened. An authority figure! That took a lot of the pressure off of him to be sure. And the line about the students being valued resources was somewhat of a relief if nothing else. All things to consider things were already looking up in his estimation.
'Well, time to get acquainted.' He thought to himself. A short bow preceded his reply.
"Always good to know the rules Governor. I'll be sure to keep the safety of your ship and people forefront in my mind." Akari stated, reaching out with the force as he spoke just to probe the man's mental defences.
He didn't want to alert the Governor, nor invade his privacy, just to test and see if he had defence training. Any organization that had non-sensitives trained in mental defences was generally not one you wanted to mess with. And it would be somewhat of a metric for just how much Akari would be able to get away with under this man's lead.
"Alright students" he said, turning to the small delegation. "We will be getting to know each other very soon. In fact your training will begin as soon as we return to our section of the colony. On your return trip I need you to provide a thorough rundown of your existing training and aptitudes, we will be building primarily on those."
He hoped that sounded professional, the new boss was watching. As the students left he let out a sigh. Then turned back to the Governor.
"Sir, might I be frank with you? What exactly is the goal here in training these students, and who am I ultimately doing it for? I will be more effective if I know what end results I am looking for."

-Attaces I'm sure that you will.
The way he said it made it very clear he didn't believe a word of it. The probe of Attaces' mind would show very little beyond his basic mood, which was mostly heavily distrustful. Anything beyond the surface was like trying to get a clear picture by dunking your head in a barrel of crude oil. The Imperium & its fore-bearers had long ago learned the lesson of dealing with force users & mental conditioning was part of the education program for every child.
The students had expected a little more than that, but they weren't too surprised. Of the ten of them Hector Pomar, Demas Smucker, & Sakshi Chapai were more or less the ringleaders of the group. They headed off to the training block, figuring that the teacher would follow them shortly.
Attaces gave the Forcie a long hard look. Eventually, he let out a sigh of his own.\
-Attaces It is simple. Determine their abilities & train them to the best of your own. If it helps, you can always just think of them as independent students who will likely be taking on students of their own at some point.

"Sounds simple enough. I'll get out of your way then. I can tell you don't seem to trust me, and you don't seem like someone I want to piss off if I'm going to be staying here." Akari said before turning and making his exit after the students.
Barring further interruptions he planned to make his way towards the training section, which he intended to give a better name, to receive the student reports. He'd then do some basic tests and instructions while he figured out a curriculum tailored to each student, but that might take a week or two.
He'd have to remember to ask if they had a sparring instructor for mundane martial arts, or if he was expected to instruct that as well. He was mostly self taught and made up for his lack of finesse with acrobatics and a reliance in the force. It had lost him a number of fights against well trained opponents, but generally he held his own. That didn't speak well of his ability to teach a fighting form though.
(Having problems formatting. Might see about editing the colours later.)

Attaces couldn't really dispute the man's assessment of him. With that little greeting taken care of, he could get back to his actual work.
The training section, as it had been temporarily labeled, was one sub-section of a single deck. It was a little large for the group in question, but it was the smallest section that could be opened up at once. The main feature was a curving arcade that followed the outer hull of the colony & was lined with floor to ceiling windows that gave a stunning view of the snowscapes outside. A second pair of arcades formed a cross through the center of the area that divided it into quarters. The training section was roughly fifty meters on a side, & designed with a population of twenty five people in mind.
Each of the arcades, including the outer arc, were large enough for a small land speeder to scrape through them. However, the large collection of benches, arches, plant boxes & small fountains meant it would be impossible to actually get through it with a vehicle. While the fountains were running already, the majority of the plant boxes were still in the early stages of growth, as they had been empty of even soil while the area was sealed off. Each of the quarters were dedicated to a different function. Two of the quarters were dedicated to personal rooms. These tended toward the smaller side, often just two or three rooms. In many ways there were designed for personal private time, such as sleeping or quiet gatherings. The third quarter was dedicated to communal living space. A large mess hall & kitchen, a large central bathing area & several smaller private bathing rooms, & an additional storage with lockable storage units. The last area was a recreational area. This was divided into four equally sized ten meter by ten meter rooms. There was a small green room, that was for the moment still mostly dirt with a few benches & a ring like stone path. The second room was effectively empty & meant to serve as a dojo or sports room. The floor, walls & even the ceiling were padded, though the walls could be folded open to reveal a large number of racks for storing various equipment. For the moment, the racks were all empty. The third room was effectively a library, though it would be hard to tell at first glance. While there were a number of desks & tables, the room lacked any physical books or obvious storage media. What it did have however was a computer terminal concealed in every desk. These in turn were connected to the Imperium Holonet through the colony's communication equipment. Which would let someone access the complete knowledge of the Imperium. Or at least the parts they had clearance to view. The last room was a social area. A wide collection of soft seats, several projectors, & a fairly well stocked wet bar made it a place to kick back & relax with others.
The truly impressive thing was the realization that each deck had a hundred of these quads. Plus nearly as much space again per deck given over to hydroponics bays, water processing systems & life support. This meant that two & a half thousand people would live on a fully operational deck. The colony ship boasted a full forty of these residential decks, for a total population of a hundred thousand souls. The ten decks above the residential areas were large gathering areas. The top ten decks of the craft were dedicated to the operations & control of the craft. All of that accounted for a little less than half of the ship. Nearly a third of the total ship size was engines. With the remainder being made up of the copious hangers, cargo decks & extensive cryogenic decks.
As they were only half the population size that the quad was set up to handle, the students had mostly chosen their quarters in close proximity. Only Hector had picked a room off from the others. For the moment, they were all waiting in the social room for the chance to properly meet their new teacher.

Ak-Akari walked in an briefly marvelled at the surroundings in the training section. He had figured it would be rather spartan, kind of like a military outfit. What he saw was a lot more casual and even indulgent. It wasn't really his style, but all the same he could appreciate the beauty and effort out into the place.
Seeing the small congregation of students he walked overhand motioned for everyone to sit down. he found a comfortable looking chair and did the same himself.
"Alright everyone, here's the deal. You're here to learn how to use the force in various different ways so that you can choose for yourself what makes sense for you. I'm to be the first of your teachers and honestly I think it's an admirable goal. The first problem is that I wasn't given much detail about you, so for the first couple weeks I'm going to be getting to know each of you so that we can get a more accurate curriculum. Until then, bear with me."
Ak-Akari suspected they weren't used to such casual instruction, but he figured he was in charge so they'd have to get used to it.
"So, as I said, your first assignment was that I need names, past training and/or experience, and any specific talents in the force you may have a predilection towards. Don't be shy, I need to know your starting point. After that we're going to do some basic exercises."
