This was quickly losing its fun. It was supposed to be a routine run & now he was being threatened with destruction. Who on earth would shot down a ship that looked like it might blow up on its own, anyway? -Z'har Now listen here, grumpy pants, I already identified myself & my cargo. There is no reason to go around threatening young, virile men with a boat full of Foxy Jedi by waving around your oversized space cannons just because you need to compensate for something. The controller had been about to fire off a snappy retort when he felt a fire in his heart, which aptly compensated for the sudden chill that shot down his spine. He didn't need to turn around; the mixture of awe and fear radiated from their leader, who had arrived in the control center with nary an announcement. He stood there in silence, his fiery jade eyes closed for what might have been the first time, considering his stone-like face. The controller hadn't been aware of the Force for long in his life, but he knew of the atrocities that the Sith had committed in their millennia-long quest for power. The controller also knew that, out of all the Jedi in the galaxy, only his shepherd had the stones to try and fight back against it. Of course, the Jedi Order being what it was, the masters hadn't seen it that way. And while the shepherd was always welcoming new members into his flock, he was waiting for one Jedi in particular. With a quick opening of his jade eyes and a solemn nod, the controller knew that said Jedi had arrived. ...High Maintenance, you are cleared for landing. Coordinates will be sent shortly. Copy when received, over.

Of all the possible replies, that had not been one that Z'har was expecting. The nice collection of jokes & insults that he had been gathering up in his mind just sort of spun in place for a moment.
-Z'har Uh, Alright then. It will take another three hours or so for us to reach the planet. Plenty of time for us to clean out the shagging carpets. Or were they called shag carpets. I never can remember. HM out.

Not long after the High Maintenance had begun its descent, another freighter warped into realspace. In considerably better condition than the previous ship to orbit Yavin had been, the YT-2400 flew as direct a line for the old Jedi Praxeum as he could, accounting for planetary rotation and eventual gravity resistance.
In the pilot's seat, something in the guise of a black-haired Human male with piercing blue eyes looked over the jungle moon. Years ago, its master had sent it on a mission to exterminate those he had dealt with in the past. The trail had gone cold not long ago, and its master was now the only one that could point it in the right direction again after it had exhausted every last available resource. A problem had arisen when its master, too, had gone missing, vanishing beyond all means trace. Without further recourse, it sent an encrypted message to another engine of death; an older sister, of sorts. And when the other one replied, it had done so in its own unique programming language. Decryption had taken some time, but after it was done, the black-haired man had something that nobody else in the galaxy possessed; a Life Emulator's digital fingerprint.
Once it had that, the machine designated LE-03 had become remarkably traceable. The fingerprint had shown up all over the intergalactic HoloNet, and following each individual thread deemed that the machine had been on Felucia, right in the middle of the resurgent Jedi Order's headquarters; a place where all of the false man's trickery, deception, and skill would do it no good. But the signal had moved, and when it did, the black-haired man was right behind it, following its "older sister" all the way to Yavin IV. It was one of the reasons that its master had designed its predecessor without any sort of wireless connectivity; even if a signal could pierce the neuranium chassis, utilizing such a device could lead someone to find the black-haired man just as it had led to LE-03. And should that happen, the safety of its master would be compromised.
But while it shared most of its programming, knowledge, capability, and was built almost exactly the same - excepting a rarely-used wireless hardware package and being built out of lighter ultrachrome rather than super-dense neuranium - the black-haired man was not KR-04.
It had not come to Yavin IV to complete the mission KR-04 could not. It had come to converse with its compatriot, knowing full well that it would likely be in the company of Vidalu Na'an and that she would likely react negatively. The black-haired man was prepared - and programmed - for such an eventuality.

Once again, Yavin's ATC picked up a strange ship on their scopes. His patience run right into the ground with the last vessel's pilot, the controller was in absolutely no mood for games, and made sure that the newest arrival knew it.
This is Jedi Praxeum traffic control, identify yourself. Now.

The black-haired man regarded the message cooly, formulating a response. Yavin IV had been abandoned for several standard years, and it had not counted on the presence of an active Jedi Praxeum, let alone one that was actively hostile towards inbound starships. In such a situation, there were few options that would allow a pilot to continue their ship's course without being engaged.
Few. Not none.
Hey, I'm sorry, the black-haired man said, the concern in its falsified voice not expressed in its cold face, but we're running on fumes up here and I've got a few families I'm pulling out of First Order territory. They must've hit the fuel lines or something, because we're not gonna make it to the next system at this rate, let alone one with viable fuel supplies!

There was an audible grumble before the ATC controller spoke again.
Coordinates are being sent. You land. You fuel. You go.

==Recovering Z'har's Bones== <<106 PP; P6 Sector, Yavin 4>>
There was a sharp crack in space, far closer to the planet than should be. The small shuttle was already nearly skimming the upper atmosphere by the time it fully re-entered normal space. Rare & advanced technology letting it pierce deeper into the mass shadow of the moon that was normally considered safe. While it wasn't cloaked, the shuttle had a wide array of stealth features, which combined with the unknown chaos on the planet below & their sudden appearance, should allow them to pass unchallenged. Already, the shuttle was diving down toward the Jedi Temple on the moon. Its contents consisted of a number of commandos that had been sent to investigate the loss of the carrier signal from their dearest leader. Their mission was simply to assess the situation, & if needed recover the Admiral and any other friendly forces that might be in the area. They would be on the ground in ten minutes.

A Pursuer-class enforcement ship emerges from hyperspace some distance from Yavin IV, its pilot having selected the ship's re-entry point into realspace distant enough from the moon to minimize the chances of encountering any patrols that might be standing watch over the moon so that he can try and make an undetected approach and landing if possible after waiting and watching for a while to observe the activity, if any, in orbit over the world.
Lorcan, powering the ship's engines down to hold its present position, opens the ship's internal comm system to have Raine bring Eimhin to the bridge with her as he waits and watches, and then lifts his buy'ce onto his head as he activates the ship's passive scanning systems and watches the resultant data begin scrolling in on his boards. Not up to date with the current state of affairs on Yavin IV, Lorcan is relatively certain that the moon has no current defense force, but would prefer to take no chances, set on making an undetected landing in the jungle near the colony where the rumors he has been sent to investigate originated.

*Raine gave a sleepy groan as her buirs voice came over the intercom. She wanted more sleep, then she realized where they must be. Hurriedly, she put her boots back on before making her way to her brothers room. He was tired, she could easily tell. She picked him up and head towards their buir. He was still half asleep when she carried him into the cockpit. Carefully she sat down in the co-pilots seat with Eimhin sitting on her lap.* "Are we here finally?"

Looking away from the scanner readouts when Raine, carrying a still sleepy looking Eimhin in her arms, enters the bridge and sits down, Lorcan nods and gestures towards the green and blue moon visible in the distance on the bridge's viewscreen display, as he says cheerfully, That we are, buddy! Looking back to the sensor readouts, Lorcan explains, We'll just hang out here nice n' quiet n' unobtrusively for a little while to see if there is any sign that there are any orbital patrols. I don't think we need to worry, he continues, no using his teaching voice, but it is always better to be safe than sorry, right? The Crusades are long over, and as far as I know the Jedi don't maintain a presence on the moon any longer anyway, but if they do, I don't think they'd be too happy to have us here, so I'd rather sneak in and out, you know? Sneaky and quiet is usually the way to go when you can't be sure what kind of welcome you'd get if anyone welcomed you, see?

*Raine gazed out of the cockpit at the planet in the distance. An uneventful looking ball floating in space. To Raine, however, it was a new adventure. She turned her attention to her buir when he explained why they were hanging back. The reason was understandable, especially if the Jedi did control the planet.* "So...recon then?" *Then another thought struck her. Her buir had said if the Jedi were here.* "Why wouldn't the Jedi be here anymore?"

*Eimhin rubbed his eyes tired my and yawned with a small stretch. He perked up in his sister's lap when she mentioned a word he'd never heard before.*
"What's a Jedi?" He questioned innocently.

*Raine looked down at her brother when he asked what a Jedi was. Her eyes gazed out the cockpit window for a second as she thought on how to respond.* "A Jedi is someone who can use the force to enhance their abilities or manipulate things around them." *Then she remembered that Eimhin was three and what she was saying might be confusing to him.* "It's...kinda like magic I guess. The force makes up everything and that's what gives a Jedi their powers. Jedi are born with their powers, and their not very common."
*She stared out the window for a second before speaking again.* "I was almost one. But I left before I could finish my training." *She wrapped her arms around Eimhin and set her chin on the top of his head.* "I'm glad I left. Because if I hadn't, then I never would have found you guys....my family."

Fielding Raine's question about why the Jedi might no longer maintain a presence on Yavin, Lorcan shrugs a shoulder to indicate his answer is more speculative than based on fact, Dunno, buddy. Same reason they closed up shop on Coruscant maybe? Dwindling numbers requiring a consolidation or concentration of their numbers would be my guess. Besides, he concludes with a chuckle and a bemused shake of his head as he gestures towards the moon and then waves a hand from one side of the viewscreen to the other, what's out here worth watching over or protecting anyway?
Returning his attention to the data coming in from the ship's passive sensors and scanners, Lorcan half listens to Raine's answer to Eimhin's question, having heard enough to be able to sound utterly confident when, after his daughter has finished speaking, nod and tell Eimhin, Well, there you have it, huh? Couldn't have answered that better myself, he adds, and then reaches over to ruffle Raine's hair as he says with rare sincerity replacing his usual cheery, breezy tone, We're glad you left too, buddy.
Clapping his hands together, lacing his fingers together afterwards and cracking his knuckles to delay having to set out just yet long enough to review the layout of the control panel for a moment or two in hopes of making the trip from orbit to the moon's surface as smooth and free from peril as possible, Lorcan asks, Alright, you little spastic Kowakian monkey lizards ready to head down into the jungle?

*Eimhin snuggles against Raine when she wraps her arms around him. He is silent a moment and then voices another innocent question.*
"Do I have the force too? And I'm glad your my sister..."
*The little four year old hugged Raine's arms against his chest.*

*Her buirs explanation made sense, why hold a planet if there was no reason to. She made a soft hum to show she understood what he meant. Instinctively, she almost swatted her buirs hand away when he ruffled her hair. As much as she didn't like it, she'd allow it this time.*
*She gave a faint smile at her brothers statement.* "I'm glad you're my brother." *His question made her frown in thought. She wasn't sure how to answer this one, or if there was even a right answer at all.* "I'm not sure if you do. I only discovered my force abilities by accident. There might be a way to tell, but I don't know what it would be."
*Her gaze turned to her buir what he called them.* "Spastic what?"

Kowakian monkey lizards, Lorcan repeats slowly in a slightly quizzical tone, sure that few beings would not be familiar with the impish creatures that, while sentient, were often treated as pets, and then waves a hand as he sighs, Never mind, bad joke obviously.
Oh, stop it with the cuteness already, Lorcan grouses with a grin hidden beneath his buy'ce as his children share a particularly sappy moment together, and shakes his head as he explains to Eimhin, Your sister is right though, I think there is some test that measures something that supposedly lets you know if you are a Force sensitive. Chuckling, he jokes while pointing at various controls as he mentally reviews the control panel to prepare to start out for the moon's surface, Be cheaper to just try and, I dunno, levitate some rocks or something, right?
Confident as he believes he will ever be that he can get them down to the moon's surface in one piece, Lorcan cracks his knuckles and says, Alright, here we go, and then increases the enforcement ship's speed, the ship lurching forward as it begins the trip for the moon's surface.

*Her buirs explanation of what he called them finally sank in. Without thinking she said out loud what she had always seen them as.* "You mean arena monkeys, the ones that...they...have.." *She trailed of there for Eimhins sake. He didn't need to know what happened to them.*
*Even though her buir tells them to stop, she could feel his emotions and almost hear a sense of pride in his voice.* "I'm not sure how effective levitating rocks would be. Other then training I guess." *As they headed towards the planet, Raine began to wonder if she should strap both her and her brother in. The flight here wasn't exactly smooth.*

*Eimhin slid down off of Raine's lap and went to stand by his buir's side and gently tugged on his shirt to get his attention.*
"Buir? I'm hungry..."
*At that moment Eimhin's stomach growled, prompting the boy to glance down at his abdomen.*

Arena monkeys? Lorcan asks in a confused tone, no longer sure that he and Raine are talking about the same thing given that he has never heard of Kowakian's being used in arenas, and then, distracted by his daughter's comment about floating rocks, forgets about Kowakians and arenas, chuckling as he thinks of all the cool things he could do if he had telekinetic powers, and muses aloud, Dude, I would so totally love to be able to throw and crush stuff with my mind.
Oops! Lorcan says a moment later, his fantasies of telekinetic displays of power interrupted by the braying of an alarm that alerts him to the fact that the angle of his descent has allowed enough heat to build up on their bow shields that their integrity is endangered. After adjusting their angle of descent, trying to pass the whole near brush with death off as nothing to worry about, Lorcan asks Em casually, Hungry, huh, buddy? Voice steady despite the adrenaline still flooding his system, Lorcan asks Raine, Why don't you take your brother back and see if there is anything for him to snack on? I've got everything under control here, he says, offering a thumbs up to make it seem more believable.
Totally under control, Lorcan adds in a cheerful tone as he leans forward to devote his full attention to trying to get them down to the surface in one piece. Making an adjustment to their course after checking their heading against their destination, the jungle near the tiny village of Vornez, Lorcan continues to pilot their ship down for Yavin IV's surface . . .
