[ Hammy the Jedi Hamster | Titus' Shoulder | Bridge | Separatist Supply Ship (Assault Refit), The Praetor ] Attn: Maximus Titus [RETIRED] << Difficult, but necessary a task, it is. >> said Hammy, << Tend to our fallen, we will. >>As a hamster, the tiny Jedi Master was more than able to balance and maintain his position on the Chistori's shoulder with ease, but most sentients were still considerate of him whenever he was on their person for reasons beyond him. Nevertheless, he appreciated the thoughtfulness.<< Mindful of the deep river dweller, you men should be, >> warned Hammy, << Certain am I that it lives on, angry, and alone... >>Still searching the world with the Force, the hamster could sense something curious, << Master Titus, sense something familiar I do. Sense it as well, can you? >>

Those restless spirits below deserved rest as much as anyone else, and they would see that it was done. Titus shifted his focus to the holo projection of Yavin IV. Hammy had a history with the planet that Titus did not. He hadn't visited the world once when Master Rawkill had been here many years ago. As such, he took the Hamster's advice under consideration with more weight << We'll handle any river dweller ourselves, should it still be alive. As for feeling anything familiar... I'm afraid not. Yavin IV was as foreign a world to me as any other... >>

[ Hammy the Jedi Hamster | Titus' Shoulder | Bridge | Separatist Supply Ship (Assault Refit), The Praetor ] Attn: Maximus Titus [RETIRED] The hamster nodded at Titus’ response. The River Dweller was not so much a threat, as it was perhaps...deeply misunderstood, and shunned. There were challenges in either choice, be it to deal with it permanently, or to convince it to become the Jedi’s ally and defender. While Hammy himself could handle the latter choice personally, killing it seemed like a waste, and certainly not the way of the Jedi.
As for that familiar feeling, it troubled him, but he could not say for certain that it was good, or bad…
<< An ally, perhaps, the River Dweller could become, >> said Hammy to Titus, << sentient, it most certainly is. Find truths we will, when down to the surface we go. >>
With that, the hamster leapt off the Chistori’s shoulder and ambled with surprising speed, no doubt aided by the Force, given that he was walking with a walking stick, and was only six inches tall, for the door.

<< We could certainly do with any allies we can find in such troubling times... >> He watched Hammy leap from his shoulder and start making his way across the floor toward the door at the mention of heading to the surface. He rolled his eyes before turning and collecting the Cricetidae Jedi Master on his way past. If he waited for Hammy to go the distance from the bridge to the hangar bay, even with the Force aiding his speed, there would be something of a wait << No offence, but this will be faster.... >> From the Bridge, Titus made his way down to the main hangar bay where several members of the Praetorian Warriors had assembled aboard a shuttle. Titus boarded the shuttle before the ramp closed up and took off down toward the surface of Yavin IV.

Three violet streaks zipped across the star speckled tapestry of space as a trio of purple C-9979 landing craft entered the star system, their cargo holds empty after being turned away from the once friendly port of Fort Dragmire on Dathomir, following the arrival of its new tyrannical environmentalist dictator. There was nothing they could do about being cut off from the only known source of spirit ichor, but they had a few options to make up for their shortfall of lumber. After studying their star charts, it was decided that Yavin 4 was the next nearest source of abundant lumber, with its well known wealth of massassi trees. As it happened, their bark was purple, which was also the boss' favourite colour. On the bridge of the lead transport, NJ3 Jake Solo leaned forwards and pressed a gloved finger to the communicator button on the arm of his command chair, opening a channel to the rest of the convoy. Captain Solo to DragCorp Caravan 13, this looks like the right place to me. The geographical data we pulled off the Holo-Net looks right according to our sensor readings. Do you confirm? There was a pause, followed by a pair of... Roger, roger. He smirked, dropping his head before slowly raising it again and nodding for no one but himself. That's what I thought. I'm transmitting coordinates to you now. There should be enough space to land near those ruins I marked, as long as they aren't too overgrown. We won't know until we get down there but it sure doesn't look like anyone's been here in a while. The jungles right there next to the landing site so once you land, offload your gear and get to work clear cutting. We got quotas to meet. See you on the ground.
Disconnecting, Jake signalled to his flight crew to take them in. The Magnificent Mynock led their approach into the atmosphere, while the other two landing craft trailed just behind.
