New Alderaan was a terrestrial world, dotted with forests, mountains, and plains.

"Auntie.." Alet starts, his voice sounding almost worried, "I-it's not working."
Alet's arms tremble as he holds a rather large rock up over his chest, elbows pinned to the ground as he lays on his back. He turns his head to shoot Mariah a look to match the sound of his voice- almost worried but more strained.
"I can barely keep it from crushing me, let alone lift this rock up. I need your help."
He swallows deeply, the worried look growing more and more on his face.

Mariah remained standing there next to Alet, her slight figure motionless. Crimson eyes remained focused upon his crushed form, her gaze lacking any sort of sympathy towards the boy who lay before her.
"Focus, Alet," the woman states in soft words, but a sharp tone. "This is something any of the little padawans up at the Jedi Temple could move."
With that said, she lifted a hand, allowing only some of the weight of the rock to lift off of Alet's chest. From here, she would leave the rest to him.
"Focus on lifting it from you completely. Think of sending it at me, if it will help. Just get it off of you, and only by your force alone."

Alet takes more air into his lungs as the weight relieves itself slightly. With this breakthrough he grits his teeth and lets out a cry to rival an battle-hardened soldier, but lacks the strength to back it up. Instead- he turns the rock, shifting it to his side as he rolls away from it quickly. A loud 'thud' resounds as the crushing force of the stone meets the ground and Alet quickly tries to distance himself before finding out his tunic was caught beneath the rock.
"You have got to.. argh!" he lets out in the frustration of escaping one peril just to be caught in a trap of his own making.
Alet lays on his side, defeated, facing away from the rock as though he had a choice in doing so. He crosses his arms and begins to sulk. The dejected boy practically emanating his foul mood.
"Go on, lecture me about doing things right or what have you. I almost have it memorized."

Mariah simply stared at the boy as his typical attitude shined through. Though the woman shared little emotion, neither pity nor anger, she approached where he was forced to sulk due to the new trap he had been forced to endure.
"I won't waste my breath then," she answers, almost coldly.
With Alet's back to the rock, Mariah circles him until he gets a clear glimpse of the roughened black boots that covered her feet, then the wisp of her black cloak as she sat down before him with her feet tucked under her small frame. With her crimson gazed trained upon him, the woman glanced up and down his form.
"Move the rock," she commands, inclining her head in a sharp gesture. "Free yourself so we can get back to the house."

Alet pushes out behind him with unadulterated strength lacking much precision, rolling the rock enough to pull out his homespun tan tunic from beneath it. He rests both palms on the ground to lift his tall body up to stand erect, giving Mariah his long, tired look as he is wont to do.
"Lunch already? I- wait, did you make lunch while I was busy? I never saw you leave.." he says as he rubs the back of his neck.
His tall form shifts slowly as he waits to follow Mariah to the house.

Mariah sighed as she watches the boy just barely still be able to release himself from the trap of the large rock. Though there was little else she could do about it now...
At the mention of lunch, the woman stared off towards the direction of the house, but she did not move from where she sat - at first.
"One of these days, you'll end up only being able to rely on yourself - and what you can do - without my help." Her lecture was spoken in steady tones, with emphasis on his abilities. "I only pray to our ancestors that you don't face that day tomorrow."
With a shake of her head, the woman rose to her feet and departed deeper into the forests than where the two had practiced. Though she didn't speak a word in answer to Alet's question, she reached up and clutched the blood ruby of her necklace. Her lips moved, though nothing audible sounded from her, and during this common ritual, she knew that Alet would not disturb her until they reached the house.
Seconds turned to minutes as the two wandered through the thick forest, as though Mariah was walking the two in circles. Before Alet could ask a single question in regards to this, though, she suddenly stops, and without a hesitant motion, she removes the necklace - something shocking for Alet to witness, for she guarded that piece as heavily as the lightsaber she used.
"Hold this," she commanded to the boy as she quickly pressed the piece into the palm of his hand. "And do not lose it."
Her eyes glimmered intensely with a unspoken warning should he fail to complete this task asked of him, but as she pulled her hand away, her confidence in him seemed to remain. Before he could utter a single question or word of protest, the woman become nothing but a blur in his vision, her sprinting aided by the unseen Force that Alet had only dreamed to be able to control.
Lunch will be ready by the time you get back to the house.
The words of the harsh Auntie Mariah rang into the boy's mind, fading away until the life around him seemed to be his only other companion - save for the precious necklace that she left for him to keep for reasons of her own making. Just when there was nothing else other to do but head back for food, though, a strange voice twisted itself through the air, like someone within the trees calling with a mere whisper in the boy's ear.

Alet stares down at the necklace in his hand just long enough not to catch where Mariah sprinted off too. He mutters obscenities and starts to trudge off in the direction he suspected the house was. The necklace held high, the boy admired it, holding the top of the loop with both hands above his head.
'This has got to be some stupid test', Alet thought to himeslf, 'I bet this thing is going to become stupid heavy so I have to drag it or it'll turn invisible and I'll be out here all night searching for it'.
His mind wandered as did his feet, unknowingly leading the boy along the path set by the whispering wind.

The whispers continued to secretly guide Alet's steps, an air of familiarity falling over him, as though this was the right path towards the house. Even as this thoughts disturbed him with beliefs of mischief or trouble to come his way, the necklace remained ever the same - just like any other piece of jewelry.
There was a slight break in the forest. Perhaps the house. But as Alex took that final step through the line of trees, something frustratingly familiar made its way into view.
The large rock that had trapped the boy moments ago.
"Alet..." The whispers came to be heard, speaking only his name in a repetitious calling. "...Alet."
But something was different about this place than what could have been remembered. A light fog danced about the groud, swirling around him so thick that his steps would cause them to swirl away. Though there was surely daylight that cascaded down through the forest canopy above, the light seemed filtered through something more, unseen but creating an ethereal glow about the small clearing now.
"You know what you must do, Alet. You know what you are able to do."
The voice seemed to overlap with itself, though the encouragement quickly died down to complete, eerie silence. Not even the birds or the wildlife of the forests echoed around him now. Nothing but him, the rock, and the necklace which he grasped.

Alet stopped in his tracks, staring down at the rock. His eyes then scanned the small clearing, intently looking for something. After be believes he finds what he sought, Alet puts the necklace in his pocket and kneels down behind the rock. He pulls off his tunic, placing it on the ground next to him. Alet pulls his lightsaber from where it rests on his hip and extends the blade, the blue light humming quietly as he holds it up next to his head. He tilts it forward, the weapon easily carving through the stone as he cuts up the rock into halves, then quarters, then smaller and smaller bits until it is no more than a pile of rubble. Sheathing the lightsaber and stowing it safely one more, the boy starts the arduous task of moving the pule of rubble onto his tunic until he can lift the cloth up as a pouch for the heavy rock pile. Coming to his feet he starts to walk off in the direction he recalled leaving before, eyes fixed to the ground and arms behind him as he drags the sack of stone.

Just as Alet turned around to head off in the direction he had left with his aunt, a haunting sound echoed from behind him. It was the sound of a little girl's giggle, soon followed by the squeal of a young boy. The sound of lightsaber hums seemed to continuously resonate within the clearing, even though Alet's had been disengaged. The hums suddenly whizzed quickly towards Alet as fast as a blaster's shot heading his way.
"Oh, no! Mister!"
The cry of the little girl faded away, but sound of the impact remained. His tunic torn, the rocks spilled out behind him from the small hole now in the cloth. There was no lightsaber to be found, though, and no little girl. No little boy. It was just him.
"I'm so sorry!" the little girl's whispered voice rang in his ears like a connection of the Force within his mind.
"You know what you must do, Alet." The young woman's voice overlapped with the girl's, again speaking of that unknown task. "You know what you are able to do."
One of the small pebbles lifted a few inches into the air, as if by its own will, and flung itself to bounce against Alet's foot. Though it was as if he was alone, something heavy started to fall over the air around him, as though he wasn't just alone. He was surrounded by an unseen amount of presences.

Landing on the surface of Alderaan, the bulk freighter XC-0192 landed just outside a small establishment at the edge of a vast Kriin wood forest. The hiss of coolant being released, the captain disembarks from the ship and walks out across the landing pad, extending his hand to shake the sentient that had walked out to greet him.
=Captain= "Mr, uh, San-dek-o?"
The Rodian did an approximation of a grin, and shook his head slightly.
=Sandeeko= "It's Sandeeko. I trust your the Serennian Captain?"
=Captain= "I am."
=Sandeeko= "Well! This way then."
The pair walked off the landing pad and down a short sidewalk into a nearby warehouse, filled to the brim with Kriin trees. Turning, the rodian gestured to a pallet of wooden slats, handles, and other assorted kriin wood products. Each had been cut down to size using laser cutting, and had been stained a nice trio of colors, including tan brown, dark brown, and a nice medium brown.
=Sandeeko= "Here we go. Paneling has been cut to specifications... a lot we already had on stock for luxury ships, some of it we had to custom make, mainly the piloting controls."
=Captain= "Looks good. How much do I owe you?"
=Sandeeko= "Well, it was about five and a half trees, at about a hundred thousand per tree...lets just say half a million even?
With a nod, the captain gave Sandeeko a credcard, and after a few moments, the transaction between house Demici and the tree cutter was completed. With a pleasant exchange of farewell, the captain boarded his ship, and waited for the new cargo to be loaded up.

The materials had been packed and stowed away safely in the ships cargo hold, and the company had been paid for their work. With a sigh, the captain set the navicomputer to start calculating the next hyperspace jump...no sense in waiting till he was in upper orbit to start the calculations. In the meantime, he set about making sure the cargo was stowed correctly, that the power conduit lines were at the full open position, that the hydraulics were cleaned...you know, the little stuff to occupy his time. At - finally! - hearing the low pulsing tone that the coordinates had been calculated, the Captain made his way back to the cockpit, started the preflight sequence...and slowly lifted off the ground and surged into space...eventually disappearing into hyperspace.

She lowered the datapad which she was writing in, and glanced about herself, picking up a pink holocron which she examined thoughtfully. She was out in a beautiful valley, friendly animals roamed unhindered, and the graceful thrantas soared through the skies like strange angels. She was shaded by a tree, which was starting to fill with whistling sounds, and she took that as a que to beat it from there. Whatever bird made those sounds seem to always be very well fed, and loved to "share" with her.
She easily pushed herself off from the trunk of the tree and limped over to her 9000 Z001 landspeeder, which sat nearby, nestled between two trees. It certainly stuck out like a sore thumb with its size, colour and shape, but she wasn't trying to be discreet, she had nothing to hide from. Once inside, she powered the vehicle and sighed. She'd need to find work soon, much as she would like to stay here a little longer, but her vehicles and their maintenance and fuel costs will soon come into concern, and then she will be in a quandary.
The vehicle rose three meters into the air, and began a lazy journey back to the capital city, Aldera.

The Lambda Class shuttle makes its descent over the Southern Hemisphere and lands in an area that is suitable for growing. The ramp descends and Gen. Folely, the HK-51, Shadow Trooper, and Capt. Fendish exit the shuttle. Taking in the scenery, Folely says,
=Folely= Let us proceed another hundred meters, and then we will be at our destination to survey.
=ShadowTrooper Platoon Leader= Yes sir.
=HK-51 Platoon Leader= Acknowledgement
They proceed forward another 100m and then stop. The survey equipment is set up and the marker stakes are ready.
=Folely= Capt. Fendish, mark this first area here with the following dimensions for the business office: 22m x 40m.
Fendish did so and then marked a 10m path that curved to the right to where the storage facility would go.
=Folely= HK, mark the dimensions of the storage facility as follows: 40m x 60m; and also the smaller pressurized storage units at the four cardinal compass locations, each at 20m x 40m
=HK-51= Acknowledgement
The droid did so, and then branched a marked path from the storage facility to the processing facility.
=Folely= Trooper, mark the dimensions for the processing facility as follows: 80m x 120m
=Shadow Trooper Leader= Yes sir, on it.
The trooper made sure the markers defined the dimensions of the processing facility. He also continued the marked path from the processing facility to the field location. Folely looked at his team.
=Folely= Alright, the path we have leading to the field is equidistant from the North and South corners of the field. HK-51, you are with me and we will go north and mark the field perimeter. Fendish and Trooper, you two head south and mark the perimeter. We will meet yonder on the opposite side.
Without acknowledging, they did exactly as ordered and marked the perimeter of the 1000 hectare field. Satisfied they returned to the shuttle. As they did so, Folely sent a communication to Jedi Master Fenris giving him an update.
::Master Fenris, General Folely here. We have completed our survey and staking of the area. Preliminary analysis of the area indicates that you surmised correctly in choosing this location for Coffeine. I reccomend construction begin immediately. We will be leaving here in a few minutes. Folely out::

Alana Brandwyn had seen her fair share of combat over the past several weeks, now it was time to recover from that. She went back to the old Brandwyn Vineyards property and stood frozen at the sight of Brandwyn Manor. The last time she had been here it was when the rest of her family had been murdered by the Sith known as Lord Xerxan. He was an entity that had been friends and enemies of her Uncle Arden. She was nervous about entering her family home, she truly hoped that someone had been by to care for the place, but she wasn't sure. She stood at the bottom of the steps to the main entrance for what seemed like an eternity before dhe realized that there were people moving about in the back fields and vineyard offices. She walked slowly to the door of the manor and opened the door... as she stepped in she was caught by the powerful scent of cleaning agents and flowers. She found a man in the kitchen, making himself a sandwich, wearing a KalCorp uniform. He was startled by her arrival and dropped his sandwich.
(John) "Sorry ma'am, we weren't expecting anyone to come home for another week or so. I was, umm, just having lunch. Sorry, I know this is your house."
(Alana) "Umm, no. It's okay. Enjoy your lunch, this hasn't been my home for quite some time now. I take it my Uncle Arden sent you"
(John) "Yes, as CEO of KalCorp he tends to have us do all sorts of things that aren't clearly defined in our original jo descriptions. I promise we'll leave this place in better shape then we found it."
(Alana) "I know. Stay as long as you like, I'd like to get some rest..."
(John) "Name's John, please allow me to show you around the improvements."
He could tell Alana was shaken by being here, he had heard the stories and knew what she had survived here. He showed around each of the rooms, she avoided her room as long as possible but eventually went there. When she saw her bed, exhaustion overcame her and she crawled onto it and fell asleep almost instantly. John just watched from the doorway and when she had fallen asleep he pulled a blanket over her, tucked her in and went back to his lunch.

=General Folely= General Folely saw the approval come through his comlink. All right. Capt Fendish, I need you to head to the area we marked for the field and oversee the construction.
=Capt. Fendish= Yes sir!
General Folely watched Capt. Fendish head off to the field. Folely turned to the HK-51.
HK-51 Platoon Leader,
=HK-51 Platoon leader= Ready to serve.
=General Folely= I need you to head to the area marked for the Fenris Estate and oversee its construction.
=HK-51 Platoon leader= Acknowledgement.
Folely watched him go and then turned to the Shadow Trooper
Shadow Trooper Leader, you will head to the site of the Business Office and oversee its construction.
=Shadow Trooper Leader= Yes sir.
I will oversee the underground facility construction.

Alana Brandwyn sat in her study, reading the days production logs. It had been a while since she had come home to save the planet from an invasion, the tides of war were steamed and life returned to normal. On the wall above her desk was a mounted case containing two lightsabers and a picture of her Uncle Arden. She had seen him die yet knew he was not gone. A droid entered her study and played a message for her. It was an announcement that The Watchman had arrived and that Master Arden was well aboard and in need of his personal effects. She smiled, knowing he would want her to deliver them himself, and took the box from the wall. She handed it to the droid and nodded as it left the room. She then stood from her seat, and adjusted her artificial leg. She would not go because she did not want him seeing her like this, he didn't need to be made aware of her condition. The leg had been lost during the collapse of an underground resistance base she had been hiding in. They could not save her this loss and she had not gotten adjusted to it enough to travel very far yet. One day she would rejoin her Uncle, but today was not that time...
The droid took the box, opened it, removed the lightsabers and left the rest on a table in the hall. It placed the hits in a different box, stamped it with the seal of the Brandwyn Vineyard and sent it out from a tube to the spaceport where it would be dispatched by courier to the ship in orbit, delivered tot he Jedi Master and then they could proceed wherever it was they were going. There would of course be a note attached explaining why she had not joined him, but that is for him to read and no one else...

Confusion. Panic. Fear. Death. Destruction. These feelings ran on repeat for what seemed like forever. He was rushed into the strange metallic construct, before it had taken off. Bearing him into the great dark beyond...
The YX-1980 plummeted toward the ground. Its entry into the atmosphere of New Alderaan was less than ideal, mainly due to the fact that a defence laser had clipped the ship. Radio silence and ploughing through local traffic were not a good combination. Thankfully the ship had not been outright destroyed. Allowing its occupants to survive another day.
Like a comet, it started to burn up as the friction with the air became too much. Moments later, it impacted the ground, ploughing through a couple hundred yards of forest. Parts flying free into the trail left behind by the landing.
Drauchir groggily opened his eyes. Parts of the wall and roof were missing or hanging in mid air. The interior metallic guts of the massive ship spilled out of the new holes. He shifted into an upright position, raising his hand protectively to his face as the smoke started to waft in. He could hardly remember what had happened, but none of that mattered right now.
He snatched up his swords and bowcasters, slipping them into place as he made his way across the room to the door. Unlike usual, it did not automatically open, and so he had to force it. Thankful for the enhanced strength he had been granted as he got free into the central corridor. There were fires everywhere.
He could see a clear route to the front of the ship, and so he headed that way. Diverting only at the last moment to loop around the left side of the ship. Something tugged at his memory as he made his way to the hangar bay door. The tiniest crack of sunlight shone through the doors. A panic setting in as he rushed to pry the door further open. Allowing him access to the now wide open hangar bay.
Where a wall should have been, was now a massive opening out to the forest scenery. His attention however, was focused within the hangar bay. Quickly locating the passed out form of Eryneth, his apprentice. He moved the suit of ceremonial armour from atop her and cradled her unconscious form in his arms. Carrying her as he jumped clear of the ship and landed on the forest floor.
He set her down then, resting her beneath the shade of a tree, as he took a seat of his own. Watching the flaming wreck that had somehow delivered them both safely to what ever the hell this place was...
