Kahzak fell behind in line with Saris and followed the other man's lead. When Saris turned or leaned Kahzak would follow suit. Suddenly speding up so that he was riding directly to Saris's left Kahzak spoke up. "So what is our primary objective right now? Are we at war? Are we running reconnaissance? Are we expecting enemies and if we encounter hostiles what level of force am I allowed to use?" Saris slowed his speeder to reduce the roar of the wind and make it easier for his companion to hear him as they turned into the jungle towards the settlement. "Our mission is reconnaissance for the time being. You are allowed to defend yourself and those aligned against the sith, but you are not allowed to kill." He left it at that, short, sweet, and to the point, and began to slow even further as the foliage began to increase in density the nearer they came to civilization. It wasn't until he could smell the unmistakeable odor of wookiee that he stopped his swoop, lodging it in the crook of a massive branch and concealing it with holographic camouflage. "From here, we go on foot." They were still a good kilometer out from the settlement if his ears were any indica... He stopped and quirked his head, as though listening for something, then narrowed his eyes and darted toward the town without warning, leaping from branch to branch as he ran. Even through the dense foliage, his keen ears had picked up the unmistakeable sound of blasterfire, followed closely by an explosion. It seems they had begun without him.

Jaccien moved swiftly but quietly through the Wookiee village. He tried his hardest to stay out of sight, but with so many Wookiees around it was impossible. He became very paranoid and would almost shoot anything he saw move. "Get it together Jaccien... Your acting like a child, pops would smack you for thisHe mumbled to himself
Even though Jaccien was a Mandalorian and had been in a few battles, he was still young and inexperienced. He knew the whole Wookiee population was not the enemy, but there were some that were trying to kill him. He had to stay vigilant.
He came up to a corner and stacked up on it. He got his rifle ready and took a deep breath... 1...2...3... He counted. On three he pulled around the corner and brought up his rifle. Around the corner stood a Wookiee pup looking up Jaccien. Jacciens rifle was pointed at the pups head, and in return the Wookiee pup let out a cry that would alert anyone in the area. Jaccien mumbled a curse and took off running... He has to find his way out of here...

As he stowed his swoop alongside the Saris's bike the jedi took off running. Kahzak wasn't far behind him as he leaped from branch to branch. As they ran toward the sound of blasterfire Kahzak reached into his belt and retrieved his single saber, but did not ignite it yet. As he followed Saris he remembered the man's words. must not kill. I must not kill. I must not kill. I must not kill. I must not kill. I must not kill. Kahzak thought as he followed Saris.

A young Wookiee hollered out nearby, the shistavanen's ears perked up as he kicked off the ground into a full sprint. Within ten seconds he saw a small pup wailing at the skies as his furry little arm pointed in the direction of the fleeing Mandolorian.
Possible hostile found, requesting backup to my immediate location, coordinates uploaded.
The Mandolorian was so close, the shistavanen could smell him, and boy did he smell. It was like a mixture of fear, body odor, and a pompous self importance, all rolled into one dirty disgusting aroma. The canine like creature let loose a low growl as he closed in on the Mando.

A group of 9 Korunnai Knights rode on the back of large Akk Dogs travling towards the Shadowlands in a V formation, They where coming from a hidden based for the Akk Guard a military unit of the KS made up of only Korunnai with Akk Dogs as mounts . 8 of them wore light armor with gold plates on their shoulders, arms, and legs with black cloaks that covered their faces, but their leader wore an all black sith robe, around her arms and legs where gold bracelet, she wore no shoes, and saddle. she was Lady Azaia Windu the Beast Master, the sister of the Lord Brimstone, she was 2nd in comand of House Windu and was the Leader of the Akk Guard. Her hair was tied into bontu knots , her eyes where gold her skin brown and her face very stern. As the group came to the edge of the shadowlands Azaia comlink started to go off She sighed before answering it
Lady Azaia, Lord Sithious has incountered hostile forces, we believe they are Mandos, and from the report we have a sniper requesting support
If Lord Sithious can not handle those bucket heads then he is no Lord
Yes my Lady but Mission control flag a Baudo-class star yacht request to land for repairs that did not land at any open settlements, Mission Control is requesting you check it out....(The voice of Ark General Kane here husband came on) i am requesting that you check it out My Lady
can we play with my new torture table, just you and me
...yes my Lady i await your report
Azaia looked back at her men she pulled her Akk Dog to a stop before turning him around so she could face the 8 other riders, with smile on her face
We have a Mando attack underway in a nearby village and their seems to be a spark in the darkside and i can taste the conflict of a murderous intent rippling in force. I know we all want to get home but to pass up on the possibility of such prey is not in out Nature so Let the hunt!
Azaia's Akk Dog stood up on its back legs as the other Korunnai Knights cheered before they set off towards their where Azaia felt the light side of the force was coming from, as she rode she wonder if the Mandos had joined forces with the Jedi again or where these just two completely separate incursion or if a Mando was just force sensitive, she touched her comlink and called Lord Sithious.
Lord Sithious or Officers engaged with mando fouces what is your status and who's nuts shall i be frying tonight for not already neutralizing the bucket heads

He'd covered more than half the distance to the village by the time his ears caught the sounds of the Akk dogs, though his nose had yet to catch the scent, thanks to an unfavorable wind. When he finally did catch the scent, that of the dog mixed with both male and female Korunnai, all of them grown beyond childhood, his mind conjured a memory he'd thought long dead. It had been a short visit to the planet of Haruun Kal, before the deaths of his family and the misery that followed, but there was no mistaking the scent. At least not for a Sakiyan. The creatures may actually prove a challenge, though their riders likely less so. Saris may have been a jedi, but he was still a hunter first and foremost, and there were very few sentient beings in the galaxy that he would consider worthy prey. Out of that number, only a single one of them was human and his hopes were not high that he would find another here.
He could also feel their presence, both the dogs and their riders, through his perception of the force, though his was not the sort that cast assumptions and boxed beings in to light and dark. To him, the assigning of colors and shades to one's connection with the force had always been utter absurdity. The force was far too vast a thing to be contained by such limited views. It had always simply been there for him, waiting to either aid him of its own volition or be harnessed and used as he saw fit. What he had always assumed others were referring to by light and dark was merely how much of a role your emotions played in how you harnessed the power available to you. Those who allowed their passions to rule, rage, anger, lust, and jealousy, were the ones called dark, while those that tempered their emotions and acted on reason, compassion, and mercy were of the light. Either way, he preferred to take things as they were, rather than assign them a box before he knew anything about them.
All that aside, those who were drawing closer to him now were very definitely of the darker persuasion, and even now he could feel the anger that touched upon their power. He assumed as well that they could feel him in equal measure, and so let the senses of his mind reach out, spreading into the surrounding jungle and in turn allowing him to put himself in tune with its energies, diffusing any trace of his presence to the point of undetectability. With a quick word to Kahzak telling him to hide his presence if he knew how, Saris made a motion to follow and began moving himself downwind of their projected path in order to prevent the animals from picking up his scent.

Jaccien had grown tired of running. If he was to die today he was going to die a man. Not some scared little child. He quickly jumped over a waste high log and knelt down. He turned on his scanner and started to scan the area for any living creature around him with his rifle at the ready. The only thing that was exposed on his person was his rifle and his head from the visor up. He tried to calm himself but his adrenaline was pumping. He started to shake ever so slightly. This could be the end, or the beginning.

Lord Sithious nearly fell out of his speeder as the message blasted through the speakers. Nuts? Fried? That sounded either like a tasty snack or a fitting punishment for a Mando. True, the situation had not been dealt with as swiftly as he would have liked. But what could Sithious do? He wasn't used to being in charge of these aggressive scouting and attack missions. And that damned Darth Fang had basically given him no choice in the matter. No worries, he would successfully complete his task and prove to Lord Talon that he was worthy of Power and Respect.Who am I speaking with? And the problem is being dealt with, they are being choked from life, one by one.The Shistavanen had just turned the corner as he watched the mando disappear from view over the log.Mandolorian encountered! Position tagged, reinforcements may be needed!"I'm going to take this filth out for myself! " He chucked a thermal detonator over the log to destroy him and get rid of the problem once and for all. After the grenade finished leaving his grip the Shistavanen would snarl and draw out two blasters. Clawed fingers squeezing the triggers and firing as rapidly as possible for several moments before charging to the right behind the safety of a wall.

Kahzak had stopped just behind Saris and followed suit as he was told crouching and concealing his presence with the force. He slowly began to follow the other man his training as an assassin coming in handy when it came to being quiet. He would follow saris almost silently, but he held his single bladed saber at the ready just in case.

The five months since his arrival had not been easy ones for Saris, hounded as he was by the forces of the sith even as he endeavored to build the native resistance into a force that had the potential to overthrow those who claimed ownership of their planet. It had been a long road, but it seemed that at last the tide was turning. With each passing day, the ranks of the rebellion swelled as the loyalist numbers diminished and more and more wookiees returned to the wisdom of the old ways. The attacks of the loyalist forces were growing smaller and fewer in number, and the losses for the rebellion were only a mere fraction of what they had been at the start. Where before, an entire village might be wiped out wholesale, or perhaps taken to the sith fortress to have their minds enslaved, they were now capable of standing up to their oppressors. Those who shunned their tradition and encouraged madness and lawless behavior.
Saris stood on a balcony overlooking a small settlement, eyes closed as his senses took in all that surrounded him. He could hear a cluster of wookiee children playing some sort of ball game on the far side of the village, could smell the cookfires as they began to prepare for the evening meal, but most of all he could no longer sense the fear. They had hope again. Hope that they would no longer be at the whim and mercy of the madclaws, that the order and peacefulness of tradition would be restored without the dark taint of the sith presiding over them. Their world had changed since the sith arrived, predator attacks growing ever-more frequent and brazen, and the most dangerous animals no longer containing themselves in the shadowlands but venturing forth to the lower settlements to hunt their prey. They could all sense the unnatural aura of it, but until now none had believed they could dispel it.
Anya had helped a great deal with that, her powers of light driving back the dark taint around this and many other villages, and driving the predators with it. The forests had darkened in the years since the sith arrived, and only now as their taint was being purged did the plants once again exhibit their former glory. Saris hadn't even noticed the change at first, as the tainted world was all he had known, but it was easy now to see the difference when one passed from an area that had been cleansed to one that had not. He even felt it in his emotions. Here he was calm and at peace, centered and full of vitality, yet whenever he ventured out to engage the sith, his mind would inexorably begin to cloud with rage and hate. He had always assumed that was what brought the predators into the upper levels, and now his suspicions had been confirmed.
"We've been doing well, haven't we?"
He was startled out of his musings by a female voice behind him, and turned to find Anya standing calmly, hands clasped behind her back, lightsaber resting against her hip. "We have, but it isn't enough. The tide is turning, but we can't relent."
The firrerreo smiled, though it held equal parts joy and sadness. "It would be better if they could be turned from their darkness."
"Yes, but you know as well as I that they won't. It's not their nature. They thrive on violence and death, and the only way to stop them is to give them what they so desperately want."
"Perhaps, but I will not give up hope."
She turned to go back into the small hutt they'd been given by the village's residents, and he turned back to survey the village once more.
"You never have, Anya, and I expect you never will."

Khazak had been dutifully helping Saris since they arrived, he wasn't a jedi however he couldn't identify as a sith anymore either. The wookies avoided him as though he were a plague due to his appearance. His eyes still the burning yellow they had always been. Saris had ordered him to scout the woods and keep an eye on the sith and their forces, but to not use deadly force. He walked through the village towards the hut where he had been told to stay. Noticing Anya he diverted his path walking to her and nodding a greeting. Anya was sitting in meditation, Khazak walked quietly up to sit beside her. Closing his eyes he attempted to meditate, he usually did better at this when Anya was near, for some reason she suppressed the darker side of his personality.

The woman's mouth twitched into a slight grin as Khazak's presence sent dark ripples through the serene, clear pool that was her mind. At first, his presence had been grating, like an unpleasant itch that refused to go away. It would likely have been worse, she imagined, had he not been overpowered by the darkness on this planet, but in time she learned that neither darkness was something to be shunned, but rather welcomed and calmed. Rough seas could capsize any boat, but being angry at the waves would do nothing to quell the tempest.
In the end, she had come to regard Khazak as a close acquaintance, if not all the way to friend. "Welcome back. Are you certain you would not like me to help?" SHe raised her hand as she spoke, and it began to glow faintly, then shine more brightly until it lit up the tent. To anyone clinging too hard to the dark side, the light would feel uncomfortable in the least, and downright painful at the worst. When Khazak shook his head, she lowered the hand and the glow faded. "As you wish." She spoke, of course, of her previous offer to help cleanse him of the dark side. It was a particular skill of hers, and the only one she would claim any significant amount of power with. She had used it extensively since arriving, helping the locals to reclaim their lost villages from the encroaching shadowlands and the dark beasts it harbored. "Did you find anything of interest?"

"The sith are mobilizing in small platoons trying to hold whatever ground they control, everytime I see them I want to attack, to draw my saber and use it. However Saris told me not to engage the enemy and to observe so that is what I shall do." He sat beside Anya, other than Saris she was the one person in the village who didn't seem to despise him. Granted Khazak couldn't blame them he probably looked like the sith. In fact when Anya had offered to cleanse him the temptation to say yes ahd almost overwhelmed him, however he needed to earn his redemption not have it given to him.

Titus' Saurian Deliverance was the first ship to come speeding down through the planet's atmosphere, a pair of E-wings doing their best to provide an escort, as the Freighter headed straight for the beach near one of the villages ahead of the rest of the transports. One of the Legionaries that was in the transport with Legate Africanus drew the commander's attention to the matter, with a read out on the datapad showing as much, before the Legate let out a sigh What's the fool doing? He's going to take the village with 36 men? Titus had already left the controls of the ship to his copilot and was already waiting in the cargo hold of the YZ-900 with the rest of the members of the Saurian Jedi Order that made up the Praetorian Guard unit which was under Titus' personal command. Whilst Titus was relatively lightly armoured, his fellow Saurian Jedi were clad in full armour with shields and lightsaber lances, although they each also had their own personal lightsabers to fall back on. Titus then grabbed his shield as the signal light in the cargo hold turned to an amber colour to indicate the ship was about to land soon, before he took his position in the front lines of the formation Today we are here not as conquerors, but liberators. Our primary targets are the Sith Lords. I intend to try and save as many of their acolytes as possible, should we be able to save them. The Wookiee's are not to be killed unless they give you no other choice, otherwise, subdue them so they might be cleansed of their taint, since I am quite certain there will be some Wookiee's that have been seduced by the dark side. Understood?
Understood Grand Master. The YZ-900 Freighter touched down a few moments later, with the signal light turning green as the cargo bay doors quickly retracted to allow the Jedi inside to spill forth onto the beach front, well beyond firing range of the nearby Fortresses defences, before the Freighter took off once again back to make space for the transports that would be landing soon. Titus rallied the Praetorians into a testudo like formation as they made their way up the beach, their shields absorbing the incoming blaster fire from the local Sith garrison that had managed to rally as Titus and his men landed. Once they were close enough, Titus passed his shield back to one of the Praetorians that then took his position in the formation, as he broke free and charged the Sith defences, his gold bladed lightsaber coming to life with the usual snap hiss before Titus struck one of the Sith down. The Praetorians weren't far behind, the group breaking formation to take on the bulk of the defenders, as Titus chased after one particular Acolyte that was heading to what looked like a shrine of some sort that had been erected by the Sith.
As Titus arrived to the top of the steps leading into the shrine, he could already sense a gathering of dark side energy emanating from within as he used a force push to cause the Acolyte to trip and knock himself out. The Saurian Jedi Master then deactivated his lightsaber as he pushed open the heavy doors, where a small group of Wookiees were huddled in fear, all of which Titus ushered out through the doors, before he made his way deeper into the shrine, heading for the main chamber where he found a sith acolyte standing atop an altar that was covered in Sith runes, whilst a number of human females laid unconcious on the floor, their energy being siphoned for some ritual. Titus then activated his saber again, drawing the Male Zabrak Acolyte's attention away from his ritual, with the Acolyte activating his double-bladed lightsaber before jumping off the altar in a front flip Prepare to die Sith! This ends now! The Zabrak smiled before rushing forward and launching two strikes at Titus' sides, both of which he quickly blocked by inverting his saber and blocking the strike to his left side first, before bringing the blade directly across to block the attack from the right. Titus then launched a force push at the Zabrak's chest, sending the Acolyte back into the side of the altar, before he rushed forward to try and strike his enemy whilst he was down, but the Zabrak managed to use the force to flip over the Chistori master's head, causing Titus to quickly turn and block the Zabrak's next attack. Titus took a few steps back then as the Zabrak started spinning his lightsaber through the air, before he drew a knife from his belt and tossed it through the air, the Zabrak quickly knocking it out of the air, before Titus used the opening to push forward and slice upwards through the middle of the hilt of the Acolytes saber. He then quickly thrust the blade of his saber up into the Zabrak's chest, before deactivating the blade as the Acolyte fell, with a handful of the Praetorians arriving into the Shrine a few moments later The Sith have retreated, the village is ours...
Good work. Let us get these acolytes outside, lest they succumb to what ever ritual was begun here.
Yes sir! Titus and the Praetorians then grabbed an acolyte each and carried them out of the shrine where the first cohort had at last arrived and were securing a perimeter around the village and were setting up a landing area on the beach for the rest of the cohorts to land. Whilst the Praetorians attended to cleansing the bulk of the acolytes that they'd captured, Titus personally attended to the five women that had been about to be used as a sacrifice, undoubtedly to strengthen the Zabrak Acolyte. He sat cross legged in the middle of them, meditating for a moment as he encircled them with his aura, before touching each of their foreheads with his hand, the dark side quickly retreating from each girl before they woke up in turn. Titus then rose from his seated position and helped each of them to their feet, whilst a couple of Legionaries brought them some water to help with the nausea they were feeling from the cleansing, before the lead female grabbed Titus' attention Thank you for doing that, we'd likely all be dead were it not for your intervention...
Do not think too much of it. You were in danger and needed help, any Jedi in my place would have done the same thing.
But it was you who saved us, and to you whom we must show our gratitude. Please allow us to do something to repay your kindness?
If you insist, then I shall find something suitable... For now, I shall entrust you to the safety of my ship, there is still a long day ahead...
Gladly Master Jedi. A pair of Praetorians then escorted the women back to the Saurian Deliverance which had once more landed on the beach, whilst Titus took a couple Praetorians into the temple with him, thw Jedi quickly dismantling the altar and the surrounding runes, before cleansing the place of its taint. With the dark side energies expunged from the shrine, a series of charges were planted and set off to destroy it, to ensure it would not be used for such evil purposes again. Once the Praetorians were all gathered together again and the Wookiee's had been reassured that the Jedi were here to remove the Sith that had lorded over Kashyyyk, Titus made his way to the HAVw A6 Juggernaut which Legate Africanus was currently using as his groundside command post to organize the Legion's next move now that more Cohorts had been landed groundside. Titus gave a short bow to the Legate, who merely nodded his head in response Well, well, if it isn't Grand Master Titus. I see you managed to survive your mad rush to the ground...
Someone had to make sure you had a landing site Legate, besides, my men are trained to battle Sith and there was quite a few when we arrived...
At any rate, we now have a base of operations to continue our advance from. I assume you and your men will be needing a lift?
If you can spare us one, it would be appreciated...
Well it's a good thing I thought ahead and brought a spare AT-TE for you to ride in.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated Legate Africanus. At least this way, we wont be able to get to far ahead of you... Titus gave a bow to Africanus before taking his leave of the Legate to gather the Praetorians and board the AT-TE that had been set aside for their use, before the first cohort began to move out a few moments later, headed towards the next village whilst the second cohort remained behind to secure the village and help land the rest of the troops that would soon follow

*Kashyyyk was a beautiful world, and that they'd allowed it to be subjected to such a heinous presence as the Sith was a true crime; the Zabrak was not wrong in that they should have acted much sooner in liberating this world from the Sith. And other worlds, but most especially the homeworld of an entire race such as the Wookiees. To be sure, there were signs of corruption within the foliage, but it also seemed that the world was healing...
Then they'd come just in time for the final checkup.
The three transports, along with the X-wing and K-wing squadrons, roared over the terrain as they approached Master Titus' location. The closer they drew, the more driven Aerandir became; he could feel the evil influence of the fortress, taunting him, beckoning him come closer. Its stench was similar to that of the Black Star's... and Aerandir would see it to it that it was expunged. Their cruelty and hatefulness, their filth... it was no longer welcome in the galaxy. Was never welcome.
Aerandir and Michelle both had moved to the cockpit so that both could see what approached, as well as listen to comm chatter without need of an earpiece; this pleased Michelle. They were fast approaching the sea, and the sights of battle were apparent even from this far away; distant flashes, attributed to bolts and flourishes of blades, as well as the occasional explosion clued Aerandir in on their position. They were close enough that Aerandir asked for communications establishment to Titus or his men.
Once this was available, he spoke,* "This is Aerandir Calmcacil, coming with reinforcements; eighty troops and a couple of lighter vehicles. Where can you use us?"

What Titus had originally envisioned as a symbol of kindness on Legate Africanus' part, taking into consideration the persecution that the Saurian Jedi Order faced at the hands of it's own people on a daily basis, was really starting to seem like a kick to the Order whilst it was down. Whilst an AT-TE's top speed of 60 km/h was quite slow by most standards, Titus was doubtful this hunk of junk was capable of even reaching that speed on a flat open plateau with a slight downward slope to assist it, let alone in the confines of the forest floor. That wasn't even the worst of it, since most of the anti-personnel laser cannons didn't work at all, and the Mass-driver cannon was currently tied into place facing forward because the rotator's were cracked, and to top it off, the internal climate control systems were malfunctioning. Even if they had wanted to try charge ahead, he was doubtful they'd get far before the AT-TE couldn't handle the strain anymore and it broke down, meaning they'd end up having to go on foot, and there was still a fair distance to the next village. With that in mind, Titus rose from his seat and moved to the small command center in the back of the AT-TE, before a holo projection of Legate Africanus and the other four commanders of the first cohort appeared, with the Legate going over the attack plan Good of you to join us Master Titus. As I was just about to explain, due to the elevated nature of the village, our tanks wont be of much use. That said, the MAS-2xB self-propelled turbolasers will serve as more than enough air support. We'll be using ascension cables to make our way to the treetops in the usual order, and we'll overwhelm the enemy. Remember, stun rounds unless absolutely necessary, and the Sith are to be left to Master Titus and the Praetorians. Any questions? The commanders shook their heads, before disconnecting to go and relay the orders down to the various sub-commanders, whom would then further delegate tasks, leaving Titus and the Legate alone to converse for a little bit Something to say Master Jedi?
Not really. Just wondering about this AT-TE that you so generously gifted to me for use...
Yes, I was wondering when you were going to bring that up. It's an old surplus tank, definitely seen better days by far. Consider it a free gift from the government to your Order. A couple repairs here and there, and she'll be good as new for you...
I thought as much... I don't suppose any of your men would be willing to do some work free of charge? regardless, consider the gift gratefully accepted. Titus then disconnected, before heading back to his seat, giving the Praetorians a quick rundown of the plan of attack, which wasn't altogether too different from their initial landing strike, except that they now had to get up into the tree's. A few minutes passed, before the column came to a stop on the outskirts of the village, at which point the troops disembarked from their vehicles, with Titus and the Praetorians gaining a small lead on the cohort as they were the first one's to deploy their cables, and were halfway up before the Legate and his men deployed their cables. It wasn't long before they were gathered on the platform, at which point they were forced to take cover as the Sith forces opened fire upon them, with the Praetorians forming a shield wall, whilst the Legate's men took cover behind them. Titus and his men then pushed forward as more reinforcements arrived from the ground, allowing them to overwhelm the defenders and push them back deeper into the village. Before long, the Sith were routed, their forces pulling out and making for Kepitenochan, which was the major choke point of the intended encirclement of the Fortress that Legate Africanus had planned, which would cut off Sith reinforcements and supplies to the other cities, by land anyway. The third cohort was quickly coming up from the rear to reinforce the village, as the first cohort moved their column to the other side of the village and prepared to take off again. Titus was meanwhile standing on the edge of a platform that overlooked the forest, with the clearing where Kepitenochan was located just visible in the distance, when his comm link had activated, alerting him to the incoming call from Master Calmcacil, who was currently inbound with a handful of reinforcements. It wasn't a surprise that the Felucians were the first to come provide some assistance, since the Hapans were busy securing the cities behind the line the Chistori were making, and Master Iorek was undoubtedly aiding their efforts, since he had finally landed groundside when last Titus had gotten an update on the situation. He then loaded up on an elevator with the Praetorians as he opened a line back to Master Calmcacil, before descending down to the forest floor again Good to have you with Master Calmcacil. We're about to make a move for Kepitenochan, and there is a few Sith holed up there, so your help would be most welcomed. The moment Titus and his men were loaded into their AT-TE, the entire column then began its march, as Titus made his way to the command center of the walker and relayed the attack plan information to Master Calmcacil, so he could best decide where to deploy his men. The plan, as it stood, was to flank the city and eventually encircle it as the main force moved in from the south-west to draw the enemies attention so that by the time the enemy considered retreating, they'd find themselves locked in If you make your approach right, you could secure the north-east side before our forces get around to it and work on crippling their artillery and rear guard. But, it is up to you, though I have no doubt your men are more than up for the task...

Thundering towards the boot heel on the throat of Kashyyyk as fast as its eleven thrusters could carry it, the Spearhead was largely unimpeded by the battle raging in the forests below. On board, troops readied their weapons and stood by, waiting for orders. Communication specialists kept information from being lost in the shuffle, relaying the proper data to the proper people and ensuring that the ship's captain had a clear picture of the chaos below. And on the bridge, Captain Marris kept his eyes glued to the viewport, standing firm as he awaited the results of his Jedi handler's interview of the prisoners.
May the Force be with me, Captain Marris thought to himself, because it sure as hell ain't with them...
----------
Still in binders and stripped of their weapons, the captured Sith forces were silent. Some seethed with a barely-constrained rage, their powers somehow unable to affect the crew of the ship as they had so easily done with the Wookiees. Some were biding their time, waiting for their captor to show himself - as all of the egotistical Jedi did - and would then strike. A rare few accepted their surrender. And around them were some of the planet's natives, similarly captured, their loyalty to the Sith over their own people having been rewarded in full as they roared and yelled. Some of the Sith, spurred by the howls of their servants, let their own screams be filled with threats against the crew's families. A few taunts and jeers were thrown into the mix as well, creating a cacophony in the dark and emptied cargo hold. But all fell silent when the door leading to the main fuselage opened, illuminating a figure in a Jedi robe, giving all of the gathered prisoners the opportunity they had craved.
The figure said nothing, simply standing there for a few moments. After considering each of the thirty-something prisoners in the cargo hold in turn, he finally strode in, allowing the lights to the room to be flicked on. The prisoners were blinded for a moment, and as their eyes adjusted they saw a Zabrak - old and scarred, one of his ten horns broken, his burgundy cloak draped over his shoulders - standing just within the threshold of the door, his arms folded as he glared at the tallest Wookiee in the room. After a moment, the Jedi's head darted to another; the strongest Sith in his custody, leaning against the far bulkhead, a serpentine smirk across his red lips. The Sith's thoughts betrayed him; he held rank in the forces that held Kashyyyk under Sith control, ordering his minions this way and that, keeping their operation running under the Jedi's radar for so long. And now, when the protectors of order and justice finally found them out, they had opted to take them all alive. He considered them fools. He had half a mind to kill the old Zabrak then and there, knowing full well that the Jedi would still try to take them alive. But the Sith's smile slowly faded; while the Zabrak was reading his own mind, the Zeltron had peered into the Jedi's. This one was different. His will was unshakable. His purpose there was clear. And he possessed within him a power that was strange, alien, yet familiar all the same.
But before the Zeltron Sith Lord could identify it, an invisible pair of hands gripped one of his shoulders and his chin. With a quick twist and a loud snap, the leader of the Sith prisoners fell to the ground, his head hanging at a grisly angle.
"I will get progressively slower," Rutil Iorek said, having moved neither posture nor position since he became visible, his body the calm center of a growing psychic storm within the cargo hold, "until you reveal the location of your base's shield generator."
"Come on!" one of the younger Sith shouted, "he's just one man! We can ta-"
The dark-skinned Human female's rallying cry was cut short by a shriek of pain as a burgundy blur and a royal blue blade removed her right leg, just above the knee. Another near-invisible swipe took her left one. She instinctively tried to reach her arms out from behind her, but the binders kept them locked in place. Landing on her new stumps caused her to cry out again, and the cry continued until a swift flick of a lightsaber blade cut through her vocal cords, carotid, and jugular. In all, it took only a few seconds. And when all was said and done, the Zabrak Jedi was right back where he began, with no indication he had ever been anywhere else.
"You really can't."
The Sith fell silent. The Wookiees stood in shock, and some of them looked on in what looked like shame; less than two minutes since his arrival, and this Jedi had dispatched two of Kashyyyk's rulers. Why had they done nothing? Why had they so readily rolled over? The shame continued to build until, finally, one of the Wookiees cried out.
"In the Shadowlands!" the Wookiee screamed in its native tongue, falling to his knees in a despair that the Jedi would never have admitted to provoking and prompting, "The shield generator is deep within the Shadowlands. That's why finding it has always been so difficult. It is five kilometers from the base! Forgive us, Master Jedi! Forgive me!"
Rutil stood silent, his jade green eyes looking over the brown-furred Wookiee for a long time before he offered a slow, solemn nod. Turning around, the Zabrak Jedi took one last glance at the Wookiee before walking back into the light, the door sliding shut behind him. The Wookiee's sudden outburst had betrayed the Sith-aligned Wookiees as well as their masters, but the sinking feeling in his stomach had finally been relieved, the unbearable pain and the sudden guilt lifted at last. The judgment of his former peers meant nothing.
It mattered little. Seconds after the Jedi left, the cargo bay floor - doubling as the elevator - lowered suddenly and violently, sending the Sith prisoners plummeting into the forest far below.

Anya's eyes shot to the east as the aura of the world around them erupted into violence and death. During the clone wars, she had become accustomed to the feeling that now pervaded her senses, though it still filled her with a sense of dread. All those lives being snuffed out in an instant, and the force itself crying out in agony at every one. Could the other jedi not feel it? Were they blind to the suffering they caused? "The battle has joined, although... this is not the plan Saris created. We would have been alerted if he implemented it early. I wonder... I must find the chief." She rose in a single smooth motion, then set off toward the village center, fully expecting Khazak to follow.
When she arrived, there were several clan chief's gathered in the common hut, discussing the holodisplay projected before them. It depicted a fleet in orbit above the planet, and more specifically the sith fortress, and several engagements taking place across the surface. It seemed there were others here to fight the sith. But where was Saris, and why had he not alerted her and Khazak? Surely he would have sensed this, as connected as he was to the wookiee homeworld. "Chief Renwarook, it seems we may finally have allies in this war. Give the signal for your men to execute their missions, and aid those that have come to aid us." Despite the dread the violence had engendered within her breast, she could sense that the invaders held malice only toward the sith, a feeling that was confirmed by their pattern of attacks surrounding the fortress and the city of Rwookrrorro. "Come, Khazak, it's time we joined the fray."
As she turned away and set off to her speeder, Renwarook took charge of the assembled chiefs, roaring orders as each one was dispatched to his own troops to engage the sith in what they all knew to be the final push to true freedom. The troops were well-equipped and trained by the near-constant fighting of the past five months, ready, willing and able to overthrow their sith shadow-masters once and for all and remove their puppet from the throne of Kashyyyk. It did not take long for the wookiees to mobilize, roaring their battlecry as the fluttercraft and repulsorlift transports rose and filled the sky with their fury. Soon, they would take back their home. Soon, the sith would be nothing more than a blemish in the memories of this planet; and soon, they would be free once more.
Move over, sith. The wookiees are coming.

Khazak could feel the disturbance as well, though not as clearly as Anya. When she rose Khazak followed suit trailing behind her as they found their way to the village center. When Anya informed him it was their time to join the battle Khazak grinned manically. His eyes burned more yellow than before, the thought of the thrill of battle almost overcoming him. Nodding Khazak followed her to the speeders throwing his cloak from his shoulders as they walked. His sabers swung from his belt as he sauntered to the speeder then threw his leg over almost casually.
"Anya during battle, my darker side may show itself, if that happens do not hesitate to strike me down." Khazak said as they departed his eyes narrowed against the wind.

*Kepitenochan, one of the rare Kashyyyk cities that existed on the forest floor. Aerandir briefly wondered why the Saurian Jedi were including it in their plans, but knew that would be answered in, well, the plans. He reviewed these, learning that they intended to circle in around the Sith forces of the fortress, and the city was a major choke point. Aerandir nodded; they'd certainly done their homework, or at least excelled at coming up with an efficient battle plan in a short amount of time.
No strange trait for a Jedi, to be fair.
While Master Titus made it clear the decision was up to Aerandir, he had no reason to object; the payload Aerandir carried was more than suitable for this type of objective. His only response was,* "I'm on it," *before giving the order and the destination to his men.
The K-wings broke into two groups of six, one leading the transports, the other trailing behind. The twelve X-wings formed up above the transports, ready to break free should they need to lend support for the in-transit ships.
A need that didn't take long, for as soon as they were within range of the city they were fired upon by the anti-aircraft defenses, a few shots glancing off the ships' shielding and creating some turbulence.* "Found our first target," *Aerandir commented casually, which the K-wing pilots rightfully interpreted as their cue to fly ahead of the transports, drawing away some fire from the transports as the bombers began to mark their targets. A handful of the X-wing fighters broke away, using their turbolasers and flight patterns to similarly distract and draw fire away from the K-wings, their maneuverability far outclassing that of the bombers. Having so many threats to target worked as preferred: The defenses were unsure which ones were worth the most priority, and therefore could not focus their efforts on that one goal.
Aerandir allowed himself a small smirk at their confusion; clearly they had no coordination, something he expected of Sith-led forces. Perhaps their masters had abandoned them. Perhaps they had lost their edge. Whatever the reason, this meant that the Jedi had the advantage; all they had to do was disable those guns so they could make a safe landing...
The bombers had taken a few glancing hits, but their shields held long enough for them to locate their targets and unleash a proton bomb assault upon the anti-air guns, causing them to go up in a brilliant display of fire and shrapnel.* "The AA guns are down," *Aerandir announced to the entirety of the forces present.* "We'll be making our landing now and moving into the city.
C'mon." *This he said only to Michelle as he moved back toward the troop bay, once more sticking the earpiece in his ear. He and her both stood near the edge of the room, close to the door, as the transports brought their way around a safe distance from the city before lowering towards the ground. Aerandir manually overrode the hydraulic door's commands, causing it to open as they were descending.
Michelle's eyes widened and she looked up at her brother, silently asking him if he was really considering this. When he only grinned, she knew that they were indeed doing this. So she ran down the ramp with her brother, diving from it while still several stories above the land; she was no stranger to grand entrances, but this was something she'd never done. Outside of training. But that's why it was so exhilarating, and she grinned the entire way as they missile-dove toward the surface, at the right moment slowing their descent by fanning out, as well as applying opposing pressure from the Force. They both landed in a crouch, Michelle's blade of blue and Aerandir's of amethyst searing to life before they stood.
The pair of CR25 transports were no slouches, speeding up their landing and deploying their forces. Six LAAT gunships soared into the air, eighty troops briskly marched into formation behind their Jedi leader, a handful of speeder-bike-mounted troops pulled to the front of the formation beside the two Jedi, and eight AT-PT walkers marched onto the terrain.
Aerandir looked toward one of the speeder riders, nodding towards the city before them as he commanded,* "Scout ahead and report us on what we're up against. We'll be right behind you."
"Yes, sir," *the rider replied proudly, before the bikes whined off towards the city.
Aerandir then spoke into his commlink as he began to march, Michelle and the rest of the troops falling in behind him.* "We may need those walkers out in front, so four of you, move on up. The rest of you, cover our butts."
*The pilots of the walkers did as instructed, four marching around the formation to the forefront while the rest stayed in the rear. Aerandir did not look behind him, but he could hear the roar of the transports' engines fading away as they retreated to a safe distance from the battlefield. The fighters had so far served their purpose; now it was up to the men on the ground.
It had been too long since Aerandir had served on a campaign like this...*
