Wolffang had a hell of a time finding a flat enough place to land as he piloted the cargo-empress super freighter 'Ice Queen' over the fractured landscape of Arkania's ice flows, a jagged broken plain rich with crystals but also incredibly dangerous to traverse on foot or otherwise. He extended the landing struts as he found an even, well mostly, patch of ice and lowered the transport down on repulsor power. Snow was swept away by the cooling engines as the snowok flipped switches and powered down most systems. He left life support running so the ship would stay warm at least. Then the chalk white furred bear slipped from his seat and waddled towards the back where Snowbacca was waiting for him. The white furred wookiee was the second part of the threesome known as the Hoth Hattrick. The third was there as well, a hunched over wampa ice beast the other two had named Icetooth for the way saliva would drip from his jaws and freeze in the cold air, forming long icicle like fangs that hung from its lips.
Our leader, the intrepid abominable snowok, pounded a paw on the door controls and lowered the ramp. He then picked up his spear, a gnarled piece of Pzobian oak with a obsidian spear head from one of Hoth's volcanic craters. Snowbacca picked up the durasteel chain that served as Icetooth's leash and led the monstrous wampa after Wolffang as he strode down the ramp into the snow.

==Five Years Ago== *Darth Orvos, dark lord of the sith, sat shivering and cursing the cold despite the state of the art cold weather gear and various body chemistry modifications the doctor had made before the start of their journey. The deep cold of the Arkanian mountains was so pervasive to pernitrate every measure that could be brought to bear against it. It was quite literally a force of nature, and one that was not to be taken lightly. "I never should have agreed to this expedition" *He was mumbling to himself, the sound hidden behind the both the layers of cloth and mirrored mask he was wearing so there was no chance that his Arkanian companion could hear him, and yet a voice still responded.* <<You couldn't resist the hunt. This is a prey even you can appreciate. It's not some homeless retiree snatched up off the street or some half dead avian found fallen from a true, it's a true predator that can hunt us back. You came for the glory and now that we've been out here for a few more days than expected you're already ready to give up. I thought you had more fortitude than that>> *The words that only he could hear were accompanied by mocking laughter. He hated that voice, wanted to strike out and destroy it, unfortunately that voice was as much him as he was and destroying it would destroy the sith as well, so he tolerated it, just as he tolerated the cold that surrounded him.
He gripped the hilt of the Kukri hanging from his belt, warming himself on the through of using it to cut that voice out of him when suddenly the landscape was flattened by a deafening roar. Despite being thrown back with what felt like the full force of a winter gale the sith couldn't help but grin under his mask as he summersaulted through the air, controlling his brief flight with the force and landing a bit more gracefully than his Arkanian apprentice a dozen or more feet away from where they had just been standing. Their quarry had shown itself and now the the fun part of the hunt could begin. With a wild grin that no one else could see the sith ignited the crackling red blade of his lightsaber with one gloved hand as he began to draw deeply on the force, pulling all of his hatred of this journey and the cold to the forefront of his mind using it to fuel a sudden influx of power as he prepared to face the massive silver dragon that had just revealed itself out of the side of the mountain before them....
