*Gavin saw that Kent had been thrown through the wall. He had hoped that he wouldn't have done such, but there was little to worry about now. He progressed through the hole to see that Kent had come to a stop near the droid. Such a wonderful development. Already had it been yelling this whole time for him to stay away, now he could only imagine what would come next.
Shaking his head, he didn't care. What caught his attention was Kent crying. For the first time in a long time, a instinct kicked in: one of a father. Quickly he was by he side, ready to push the droid out of his way. The pain was still shooting through his arm and wouldn't have taken anything to channel it once again. He picked the her up and held her close in a hug, a hand caressing her hair as he tried to calm her as waves of peaceful energy flowed from him.
Such an act brought memories flooding back to the surface, memories of his own daughters who were long gone. He missed them dearly, his whole family. He closed his eys as a single tear flowed down his cheek.*
"Shh, it's ok. It's ok." *His words were soft and easy, hoping it would add to the calming affect he was trying to give.*

Kent isn't at all comforted. Her mind was still shaken and spinning. The one thing she could always count on, the one thing that gave her an edge was gone. She didn't notice the man that was holding her now, nor the droid feet away, all she knew was fear. Still crying she began to curl tighter into a ball. She wanted everything to just wrap her up around her. Her state tapes into her untrained Force powers. She begins to pull at her surroundings, wanting it all to encompass her. Little rocks begin to fly at her, hitting her and Gavin in the process. The Droid wast staring to be pulled closer. And the facade of the building. Now with a hole at its base was structurally unsound, the top began to wobble, then it began to tip, and finally it began to fall in towards Kent, Gavin, and Leigh. All the while still crying

*Gavin's attention was directed to the debris coming at them. At first the small rocks, he covered Kent to keep her safe from it. As he heard the sound of something heavier, he turned his head to see the pieces of the building starting to crumble. Setting Kent down, he turned to it. They had seconds before it'd crumble. Focusing his energy, he thrust his hands out towards it, using the Force to halt its decent, keeping the rubble from falling any further.
He had noticed that everything had begun to move it towards them. The rubble above him was no different. It made his task harder. He was pushing against the pull. In her fear, it made the strength of her power stronger, despite being less controlled. It was putting its strain on Gavin, as he dropped to a knee to support himself. It was the knee that Kent had hit earlier. He didn't have the time to heal it fully, and the pressure made it give, not to mention the burn on his arm. But he wouldn't let the rubble collapse on them.*
"Don't be afraid. Don't fall to fear." *His words were strained as he worked his focus to the debris. However, he didn't know what she was thinking, what drove her fear. Without it, it would be harder to reassure her.*

Na'an had been jogging for a couple minutes when she felt the Force flare out from her left. Not in a good way, either--this was painful, tinged with darkness. She turned without stopping, aiming towards the sharp tang of fear bubbling up from a nearby streetfront.
"Leigh?" she yelled, slamming through another corner. "Leigh, what's--"
She skidded to a stop after bolting through another narrow alley, taking in the scene she'd stumbled across. A little girl and a man, curled up at Leigh's feet, one of the two throbbing with dark energy. Leigh frozen, unable to respond without fear of triggering an attack of some sort. She had to be waiting to a good solution to present itself...but there wouldn't be time for that. The events Na'an had missed had caused serious damage to the opposite storefront, blasting a hole through the bottom of the wall. The false front was wobbling dangerously. As Na'an started forward, about to call out to her friend, it began to fall on the trio below.
"Hey, hey hey hey hey hey--"
There was no time to wait before taking action. She pulled a silvery tube from her pocket, thumbing the activation stud even as it spun in her hands. A short crimson blade shot out, the heat flaring against Na'an's hand as she gripped the saber hilt and hurtled forward. The wall was falling slowly at first, but accelerating, and Na'an poured on the Force Speed, powering forward...
She flexed through the Force, and Vidalu Na'an flew high over Leigh in a flash of scarlet light.
Flipping once, she pulled the blade in front of her to flash once, twice, five times through the solid circle of the opposite wall. The chunks of wall exploded outwards with a Push from her other hand, leaving a widening hole over where the wall would have fallen on Leigh and the humans. She spiraled through the hole as they both fell, landing and dancing across the decline of the wall's opposite side. She skipped a bit to keep her balance as the wall crashed down, crunching loudly against the storefronts on the opposite side--and not crunching against her friend's dome.
When the sound died down, she looked around, training her Force sense momentarily inward to check for damage. Without a scratch, she then turned back to scowl at Leigh.
"Am I," she said thunderously, "the only person in the known galaxy that ever looks up!?"
Leigh stared, then snorted Her hologram flickered, a smirk playing across the freckled, projected face. "Maybe. But why would we have to, with someone like you around?"

The crashing of the duracreat was enough to shake the cobwebs loose from her head. She took a quick inventory of her surroundings. The man she had kicked to escape from the fight earlier, had tracked her down, and she had stabbed in the arm and shot was very near her. There was a very large robot close as well. They were circled by the collapsed facade, she could look over and see here home exposed to the world. She looked for her lightfoil and saw the end of it, the rest crushed under the fallen facade. The only thing from her past gone with the fake comfort she had clung to so tightly. And finally she looked up at Na'an. The woman who saved her this time.
Kent pushes Gavin way, more using him to push herself back toward Na'an. She fumbles trying to pull her baster looking at Gavin, expecting him to come after her.
Get away! Get back!
She screams, still fumbling unable to draw as she gets closer to Na'an

She screams, still fumbling unable to draw as she gets closer to Na'an Na'an blinked. "Wait, what?" Her eye flitted from Leigh to the girl, who had broken loose of the man's grip and had started backing towards her, fumbling and screaming. "Does she mean me," she asked Leigh, "or him?"Leigh shrugged, tensing her arms once again. "Hard to say. She's being chased, but then, she's the only one who's been taking any shots.""Oh, really." Na'an's cool grey gaze fixed more strongly on the kid, who at a second look was trying to pull a blaster or something from her belt.
"It might be best if she were restrained before she can cause any more damage." Leigh indicated the man still at her feet, his burnt arm bright red against the fading light."Right." Na'an nodded, then deactivated the lightsaber. Returning the hilt to her back pocket, she reached out with both hands just as Kent approached her, gripping her upper arms strongly and supporting her weight. Gods, the kid was tiny--she couldn't be older than twelve. "Hey, hey, breathe a second," she said, keeping her voice light. "You're the one causing a ruckus. Slow down and tell us what's got you so scared."

Kent relaxes into Na'an's arms. She feels safe there. She gave her perspective of the story He...tried to capture me for the dark man back there. I kicked him and ran home... He followed me and and tried to come in and get me. I attacked, i will not be captured again! Nothing i did could stop him though. I shot him, and nothing. I brought hundreds of pounds of duracreat on him, he barely slowed. I tried to cut him, it left a scratch. He forced me through the wall... i don't know how. My head... i couldn't think right. I...I... I cried! She said not believing it. She hasn't cried in years sense that first month with the pirates. Then he was holding me. He had me captured. Then the building fell. Don't let him take me! He could give me back to THEM! or the dark man!!! Please don't let him take me!

*At the warning he was given by the big robot, Anven covered his ears as it called out loudly. After that things began to happen quickly, blaster shots fired, rocks falling then a girl flying through a wall who broke down crying right after that. Just when he thought things were finally over he found he was sorely wrong. As the he had felt near by came out and held the girl, trying to calm her things went hectic again. Rocks began flying towards them, walls started crumbling and out of nowhere a blur came flying.
Finally when things calmed momentarily again, Anven saw the robot's companion standing on the other side of the rubble with lightsaber in hand. He looked around and saw the collapsed wall had fallen around them instead of on them, which was good. The girl on the other hand was freaking out again, going for a blaster on her hip. Thankfully she was stopped and instead went rambling on and so, Anven just stood there minding his own business so not to cause more trouble.*

*Gavin dropped his hands as his breath became heavy. He was glad that Na'an showed up and took care of the rubble. He turned to Kent and put his hands up as she tried pushing away. After she went on with her story, Gavin gave took a deep breath before slowly standing to his feet. He turned from her as he winced from the burn. Focusing the Force he began healing the wound.*
"I have no intention of taking her anywhere or giving her to anyone. I simply wanted to ensure she was safe before things escalated quickly."
*As he thought on her words, some of what made her so afraid had been brought to light. As he suspected, she was worried about being captured at that moment, hence why she ran. But more than that, she was afraid of what he had endured but was able to stay standing. He chucked to himself as he stopped healing, the pain faint and leaving a small scar. He turned his head a bit so Kent could hear him and raised the arm he just healed.* "It is amazing the things one can do with the aid of the Force. You, too, have that power. Find one who can train you and there is no telling what you will be capable of."
*With that he moved away from them to where he had hid his things. Holding out a hand, the rubble lifted and revealed his things to be undamaged. Bending over he grabbed his trench coat and put it on, checking the saberstaff inside. His body had become sore, undoubtedly from the rubble falling on him earlier. Holding his hand out again, the large sword lifted into his hands and he placed it on his back before approaching them again. The knee was hurting as well and it was taking a bit to keep from limping around.*
"It seems she feels safest with you, so I'll leave it with you then."

It can't be that easy. No one would go through all that trouble and walk away. It made no sense to Kent's mind. It didn't make sense. It had to be a trick, a trap to lull her and this new person into thinking it safe and then he would go after them both.
Kent began to struggle to free her blaster hand.
Its a trick! Its a trap! It has to be! GET HIM!

"Oh, no you don't."
Na'an slid her hands down to the girl's forearms, wrenching them away from the blaster and behind her back. In the same swift motion, she released one hand, using her freed grip to cuff her sharply on the back of the head. The kid in her arms shuddered once, her presence in the Force trembling violently, then her body went limp. Leigh started as if to object, but opted to stay close to Andor, just in case. After all, her biometrics were still strong, and it wasn't in Na'an to do lasting damage to a child. At least this way, she wouldn't go starting a fight until anyone left to fight was long gone.
"You should probably walk away, sir," Na'an was saying. The smile still in her voice was not present in her eyes, a cool grey gaze that showed only the smallest bit of distrust. Now that she had a good chance to look at him, she recognized the shock of pale hair; if she was right, and Kent wasn't just babbling, this man had been working with the Sith who had taken the other. "We'll drop her off somewhere safe and then bail, but if you're around then she may go and shoot you right in the treasures."

*Gavin gave the smallest of nods. It'd be a while before Kent would regain herself, but only with him gone. It was unclear what truly made her fear him. It couldn't have been when he went in the hole after her. It had to be before, when she was at the speeder. He could only imagine what she had been through to so quickly assume what his intentions were.
But it didn't matter now. The fighting had stopped and many had went their own ways. Just him and Na'an were left and Anven who was a bit away. He hoped for her safety beyond this point for it was all he could do now.*
"Take care of her. I've had enough of watching others perish into chaos." *With one last look at Kent, he made his way passed them and progressed on slowly towards the spaceport.*

As he vanishes Kent begins to come too.
You... you... you are letting him go! He will trap me again! I... I'm sorry. I am Kent, Kent Austin...
She nervously looks around waiting for the trap. But some how it looks like nothing is coming. She starts to get confused.
This... This doesn't make sense!

Na'an held her securely, making sure she didn't fight loose. As the other man passed, she caught a chill. The Sith she understood. Sith were all alike in their ambitions, once they'd gotten in deep enough to admit it to themselves. This guy, however...he was still just far enough out to almost seem reasonable. He still thought he was a good guy.
"Yep," she said absently, watching him go from the corner of her eye. "You'll get used to that after long enough."
And that was that. As far as Na'an could tell, there wasn't really anything more to fight over. She let go of the girl's arms, flexing her fingers and her arms and looking back towards her friend. Leigh was pacing through the rubble, dodging large chunks of duracrete and gauging what sections of the fallen wall were stable enough to hold her bulk.
"Your timing was later than expected," she said, kicking at a pipe sticking out of the mess. "I assume this means you opted not to use Babylon after all?"
Na'an shook her head. "No need. Val's gone, we've managed to either fight or spook off everyone else...It's over, either way." She took in the mess with a look of vague dissatisfaction, rubbing lightly at the black patch over her eye. "Either way. Sith and secret bounties...I could use a drink." She turned her attention back to the girl. She'd come to enough to hold her own weight, and was looking around with the dizzy, startled look of a concussed Kushiban under all that blonde hair. Somehow, kids always seemed to have that look after a fight--like they'd just woken up from a bad dream. "What about you? I'm sure you've had a hell of a day. My treat," she said brightly.

I am just 15 i am not supposed... This was a rule she held onto, and she never really understood why. Its was one of her memories of her parents. Telling, well she guesses it was her brother at 20 was too young to drink. All this time on her own she had never broken it. It seemed like nature to her. I... i... just can't.

Well i don't exactly have a home anymore she looked over at the now facadeless building that was once her home. And no they are long gone... This was silly wasn't it? Following the rules of people that had been dead for way past the majority of her life. Was she really this sentimental? This wasnt logical. But she still had to obey them didn't she? It's um... complicated

"I see."
Na'an stepped back, and looked at the girl fully for the first time.
She had all the signs of a scrapper who didn't win many scraps. She'd said she was fifteen, but didn't look much older than twelve, and didn't have much meat on her bones. She moved nervously, speaking in starts and stops and always hesitating, even in her anger... she hadn't looked Na'an in the eyes once, even when Na'an tried to talk directly to her. Her hair was by some miracle clean, and pretty enough, but scraggy and needed trimming. She'd been strong enough in the Force just now to pull her own home to pieces in a fit, but that was all that it had been--a fit, the same way a cornered rabbit would bite and kick for release. She was a kid, alone, scared of everyone, and trying to force herself to be an adult who could deal with a nasty hand by herself. It was...sad.
And familiar.
"I see."
Na'an backed away a couple of steps, brushing dust off her jacket. "I'll tell you what, I'm not going to force you to come along with us. I'm not looking to get shot, and I'm sure you're not looking for some magic solution. I've been there--there's never some easy way out that you can trust." She bent down slightly, making a point to talk in any direction but directly at Kent. "But the offer's open if you decide it's worth the gamble. Corellian Sector. Place called Palecki's. Ask for Na'an.
She turned her back to the girl, continuing to stretch her arms as she paced by Leigh and towards the alley that had spit her out. Leigh fell into step behind her, keeping her visual array trained on the kid behind them. "This seems harsh," she said, modulating her voice down to murmur. "You did help carve a hole through her house...she can't stay here. She's got to go somewhere or she won't last the week, and from the look of her she doesn't have many choices."
"Which is why I can't make the call for her. If she wants our help, she'll follow us." Na'an's voice was light, but the look in her eyes was set, serious. "If she doesn't...then it's not our choice to make."
Leigh whirred, the electronic equivalent of a sigh. She knew that this discussion wasn't over--hell, she had more than a little verbal drubbing to subject Na'an to later. This had been nothing but a stupid mistake, and they'd be lucky to get offworld with Noba's credits intact. But it could wait, at least, until they got to Palecki's. Leigh had learned enough to tell that this was one of those strange, intangible moments that organics seemed to value so much. Interrupting those moments only seemed to annoy them.
They paced together, the understanding unspoken between them, back around the corner and towards where they'd left Cao waiting.

*Gavin had finally made it back to the spaceport and boarded his ship. He headed straight for his room where he removed his trench coat and set his weapons on the stand.
Taking a deep breath, he laid on the bed as the events that had just transpired played in his head. His body was tired. However, instead falling into sleep, he felt into deep thought.*

*Anven watched as one left, the man who had cared and gone through much to if the girl was alright. He continued to remain silent as the girl and the crazy woman talked, it was a short conversation but in the end the girl was left to choose what she wanted to do.
When they were done and Na'an began to walk toward her droid companion, Anven assumed they were done here. As they walked past him Anven looked back at the girl for a long moment, wondering what she would do. Though he soon after turned and began to follow Na'an and the droid out of the twists and turns, back to the alley that was the source of their problems.*
