*With Val secure with Andor, he had completed the mission he gave to himself when she called. However, after running into Kent, he wanted to ensure she, too, was safe. Closing his eyes, he reached out in the Force, looking around to find her presence. It took a little time, but he soon found it. Without another word, he took off.
Through the alleyways he went, working his way around through the tight spots and moving over rooftops when he couldn't. It wasn't long before he felt Kent near-by and dropped from the roof top to the ground below. She was close, he just needed to focus a bit more and pinpoint her location.*

*after all the excitement that took place outside the alley and seeing the girl finally be taken off to safety in the speeder Anven had turned his attention to the girl who had ran off. He was now slowly walking through the alleys that the girl had used to escape hiding himself once again in the force so others would not so easily detect his presence because he didn't want to bring further unwanted attention the girl's way since it was bad enough he had decided to try and follow her just to make sure she made it to safety.
From what little he could tell the girl must of been running for he could only slightly feel her presence in the force growing more distant faster than he was making his way through the alleys. Whoever this girl was she clearly knew her way around this sector since he was having trouble following the exact path she had taken and at times found himself having to go back the way he had came always until he could find a rooftop he could climb up onto and then follow her once again. It basically took him a long time to even make it to where he was now though he was glad that he had not felt any of the others come this way that were after the girls and so it was his hope that she had made it to safety after all.
Just when he was about to turn and head back to his ship to get off this forsaken place he faintly felt the presence of another who he recognized as the other man who had been protecting the two girls. He was somewhere up above when Anven has first felt his presence likely going along the rooftops in order to also find the girl that had ran off. Seeing no reason to hide himself any longer Anven opened himself back up to the force so his own presence could be felt once again. He hoped this man would have better luck in finding the girl and making sure she was alright and if there was trouble Anven should still be around to assist for a little longer.*

"I don't have a name for you. All I have is a coded burst to send out on a certain frequency when the job is done, and a delivery site for four hours after that. Show up with the girl, or not at all. That was the deal. I didn't ask."
That was all he had to give her. He hadn't asked for details, because he truly didn't care. He just wanted his jobs to get done.. "Then give me that." Na'an sat up, being careful to make sure her weight was resting fully on his knees. She pulled the rifle close to her, not pointing it on him, and tried her best to look friendly. "I'l even give you back this very nice gun if you do. Trust me, if there's Sith involved, this job's not worth the trouble you'd be in."***
Leigh noted the departing speeder just as she downed the last of the pirates. Her back to Cao, she took a quick survey of the situation. There were the bodies of pirates everywhere--most of them maimed and weaponless, some openly crying in the street, but quite a few dead by the hands of the other parties in the area. The girl Valerie had left with the Sith, while the bounty hunters seemed to have given up the chase entirely. Na'an was on the roof, pinning one of them bodily and clearly debating some finer point of the violent altercation that had just ended. "Well, that went famously," Leigh said. Her hologram flickered on, letting her use her virtual face to grimace. "She is not going to be happy." She turned to continue the assessments, the property damage calculation racketing higher with each shattered chunk of duracrete...and caught a flash of blonde hair disappearing around a corner. "One of them didn't go with the Sith," she noted. Leigh processed the information, and made a quick decision on her next action even as she angled her dome upwards. The girl was not the only one still rapidly exiting the alley; the Sith's ally plunged into the alley after her, clearly intent on chasing the girl down to her hiding spot. There was a 47% probability that his objective was ultimately harmless. The other pursuer looked to be one of the bounty hunters, who sauntered in the same direction with a vague, expectant look that Leigh recognized as common to Force users trying to sense their way through the area. The probability that his purposes were benign based on his previous actions were 72%
Those were much smaller numbers than the droid was comfortable with letting slide.
"She's being pursued. On route."From the rooftop above, she could see Na'an nod minutely. Then Leigh powered up her leg servos, and powered down the side route the girl had left through at what was a moderate pace for her, but a full-tilt run for any organic. The child had enough of an advance that she kept well ahead of the droid, but Leigh's objective was not capture; rather, it was to intercept the girl's other pursuer following her sharp turns and switchbacks through the sector's back streets.
I would suggest that you cease this pursuit, she intoned through her comlink transmitters, aiming the burst at both girl and men. She clearly does not desire your protection.

She was being tracked here. Kent knew it, she didn't know how but she knew it. Someone, no, more than one was on their way looking for her. For the first time in a long time she couldn't decide what to do. Her hiding spot was good, great even; up until now no one following her had ever been able to find her here. But these people she met tonight were different than the normal riffraff she encountered on the streets. And He was out there. The one being in the galaxy she feared, what if he was one of the ones following her. Should she stay or should she run? She didn't know, and that for a mind like Kent's was enough to fill her with terror. She always knew what to do, she thought it out and got the right answer that's how her mind worked! She is supposed to know. She began to calculate the odds that the pirate had gotten a look at her face, then added the odds that he would remember him. But again she wasn't a droid, did odds really mean that much! She was over thinking the situation, but she couldn't stop herself. She had to get an answer. Her fear and terror growing by the second.

*As Kent began to over think things, Gavin had zoned in on her position. Whether from an emotional flare from her or he simply focusing well enough while being close it didn't matter. Turning towards it, he noticed the hole in the wall. It must have been where she climbed through.
Bending down, he looked at the hole to gauge its size and determined he could fit. Downside, he'd have to leave hos sword and trench behind. Finding a spot to hide them he looked to see no one around. Hiding his stuff, he began crawling his way through the hole, a tad difficult due to his larger frame.*

*Anven stood in the alley that he had been following to try and determine if the other girl was harmed or not though now he was no longer doing so since it seemed the other man he sensed was likely having better luck than he. So now Anven waited for a little while longer where he was occasionally shifting his weight from one foot to the other as he slowly grew restless even took up whistling a little tune to pass the time by. He did not have to wait long before he heard a voice over his comlink one he did not recognize and sounded robotic.*
*Anven's face at first had a look of confusion on it for it was the second time today he had heard someone over it that he did not know which was odd in the first place since no one liked talking to him anyway. He turned his head to look back the way he had come his look of confusion turning to one of suspicion for how was he to know what this other wanted perhaps it was a robotic bounty hunter coming to claim its prize and was attempting to make it all the easier by tricking them into leaving the girl unprotected. The only real way to know what this Droid's intentions were would be to ask it since droids lack minds that could be probed by the force to reveal their secrets and intentions.
So unsure of what this new potential threat may want Anven turned to face down the alley that it would have to come from if it had been following him. He would simply wait where he was and when or if the droid got here he would ask nicely why it was following the girl course if it was all just a simple misunderstanding and it was really just him it was following then this should be resolved easily and they all could be on their way. Still preparing himself should the worst happen Anven opened himself up to the force should he need to defend himself.*

"You're both only scaring her."
Leigh had come into the new space somewhere between Gavin and Anven. The first man, some 'acrobat' who had been siding with the Sith in the previous scuffle, seemed hard-bent on reaching the girl, who had somehow and for some strange reason wedged herself behind a building's false front. The other was behind her, only just strolling into the space in front of the house with the same half-vacant expression of before.
Neither man seemed to have heard the comm transmission; Leigh stood back away from the building's facade, aware that forcing herself closer would risk her bulk getting stuck in the crevice the girl was huddled in, and the man was creeping into. She loosened the servers in her arms, letting them dangle, and let the hologram in her dome flicker to life. She knew that the face--an attractive blonde, her nose lightly dusted with freckles and sporting a dimple even when solemn--was much better at putting the average human at ease with her autonomy.
"I may not be able to sense the Force," she said, addressing the man who hadn't yet wedged himself into a space far too small for him, "but her biometrics indicate that our presence is inducing an elevated heart rate and increased adrenaline levels, which indicate rising panic."
Leigh tilted her dome, indicating the girl she could not see. "She is not the one who asked for help. If she is running from you, she does not want it. So you both should back off, and let her have her say." The pretty blonde face smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'll even go with you. There's quite a lot of cleanup to be done back there after all those dead pirates, and I cannot let Na'an do it all herself."

*Anven stood waiting the mystery droid to show itself only to find out that it wasn't such a mystery droid after all. He faintly reconized it as the droid that blocked the far end of the alley that the girl had been hiding in when some crazy blaster wielding force user had decide to come charging in. Despite the woman the droid had accompanied seeming to be crazy he had sensed no ill intent from her and so he assumed the droid too meant no harm. Even when the droid spoke up before Anven had the chance to ask it anything it confirmed his thoughts that it meant no harm so he relaxed his stance though oddly it seemed the droid had a better idea of where she was hiding than he did.
Just on instinct Anven looked around wondering if he was standing right ontop of what he was looking for without knowing it since all he could sense of the girl and the other man was that they were near by and without further concentrating he would not be able to pinpoint where they were since he hadn't seen where Gavin had gone nor had he seen him at all. Though shrugging his shoulders since it really wasn't any concern of his anymore and the droid did raise a good point he could sense the rising fear of the girl and so leaving her be would likely do her some good.
Seeing no point for further argument plus he had been looking for an exscuse to leave this place Anven began walking towards the droid intending to leave with it since it did say it would go with him.* "So you say there is a mess to clean up, sounds like as good as an exscuse to get out of this forsaken place." *As he came up near the droid he gestured for it to lead the way with a gauntleted hand since he highly doubted they could walk side by side in this cramped space of an alley.*

Food... Now there was an offer she would be a fool to deny. She started forward, her stomach rumbling loudly, her physical needs driving her towards what she already knew she wanted.
But then there was a pause, and she stopped a step away from the boarding ramp.
Her deep brown gaze turned to look behind her, back in the direction of the main city.
What about Mom and Dad...
Sure, this man -- whose name she still hadn't caught -- was giving her food, but.. shouldn't she at least let her parents know that she was okay? She hadn't seen them since the bounty hunter had gotten the jump on her the first time around, and it had been a few days. Part of her wondered why they hadn't gone looking. Part of her wondered if they were alright, or if the hunter had gotten rid of them.
Maybe she was just tired. Maybe she was just being overly emotional. But she couldn't stop looking back the way they had come..

He chuckled, just once, then flicked his wrist so that the tech panel snapped open. He nodded down at one of the flashing lights, indicating that the broadcaster was in there.
"You want it? Take it. Push the button when you're ready."
He stared at the Jedi atop him, idly wondering if she knew just what she was getting into, but realizing just as idly that he really didn't care. If she wanted to be a fool and rush in, that was on her.
Her life didn't matter to him. He had said so in his earlier broadcast. None of their lives did.
"It's gonna be a warehouse in the Corellian Sector. Armed escort inside. It'll look plain on the outside, but I suppose a woman of your talents will be able to find it easily."
Another being might have wished her luck. Offered her advice, some sort of empty phrase aimed at lifting her spirits slightly or some such emotional bull. But Ambuscade said nothing more, just staring up at her..

Someone was coming into the hole. So he had made her choice for her. She pulled her blaster and pointed it at the hole. Just another second and whoever was coming would be visible. The second she saw movement she would fire. Who ever it is would be unable to defend themselves in the tight hole, part of the reason she chose this place. There was a muffled voice outside that she couldn't clearly hear, but it sounded like she was trying to calm them down. But could she trust it? No she had to take charge of this. She was smarter then them, she should not be cowering. Kent chose to act. She put the blaster up into the hole. It was close enough to the man for him to see it, but in the tight quarters of the hole not close enough to reach for. She was still very afraid but now she was angry. She held it hard with both hands, as she yelled.
Move and you die! I have been responsible for deaths before to profit others, I will have no problems killing you! Try to talk and you die!

Standing on the ramp to the YT-1300, Andor used the Force to warm his hand, making it more comforting than the usual icy death grip he had. It gingerly touched Valerie's shoulder, offering a false-sense of comfort and support. In reality, Andor felt no sympathy, he only felt the need to turn her into a monster, but he had to get her on the ship and back to Kuat before he could reveal who he truly was. He couldn't do it here because it might scare her off.
"Valerie, my dear. I'm taking you to Kuat, a system that is very safe and protected. There, you will be safe from the Bounty Hunter until I have taught you to fend for yourself. Then, you can return to your parents. As soon as we take flight, I will contact them personally and let them know you are safe." His evil heart dripped with malice as the lie oozed from his lips. Valerie would never see her parents again, but if she did, she would not be the same. Her parents would cower in fear at the shadow of the monster that would soon consumer her.
His hand left her shoulder as he disappeared into the ship, making his way for the cockpit. Once he got the the ship in the air, he would be sure to get Valerie some food. But they had to take off. His mind was still in "battle mode", not being entirely sure if they had been followed or not.*
*He strapped himself into the cockpit and looked at Valerie, who had hopefully followed him and sat in one of the other seats in the cockpit. "Once we get in the air, I'll make some food for us. I don't know about you, but I'm absolutely famished!" He turned back to the controls before hesitating and turning back to face her again, "My apologies, dear! I don't believe I've yet to introduce myself!" He gave her a smile, being sure to keep his lips together to not reveal the fang-like teeth that lined his gums. "My name is Andor, Grand Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire."
Actually, it was Darth Andor, but he didn't want to scare the girl.... Yet. Turning to the controls, the engines roared to life. Moments later, the ship lurched slightly as it left the ground and begin to sail into the air.

*Gavin had already progressed into the hole before the droid came around and started speaking. He paid it no mind, one for it was muffled through the wall and he was nearly in. Backing out would have been a pain. Plus he had seen both girls side by side. They looked similar and while the one who primarily hunted Val wouldn't be get confused, others might have. If they saw her, her life could just a well be in risk.
Though he could fit through the hole, moving around was hard pressed. He also didn't expect a smaller area on the other side With Kent waiting there. It was when he saw the blaster just in front of him with her words that he could help but smile. It was quite clever. First a place that none truly knew about to hide and more so with a tiny entrance made it easy to kill any who entered. He stopped moving, but still wasn't ready to give up. He focused the Force close around his body to create a Force Barrier. He had to be quick at this point. He focused the Force around the blaster and attempted to pull it from her.
Should the disarm fail due to her double hand grip, he would then give of a tiny push to push her back, followed by a Force Grip to keep her from moving. He expected either way for the blaster to fire once, hence the protection of the barrier.*

Another being might have wished her luck. Offered her advice, some sort of empty phrase aimed at lifting her spirits slightly or some such emotional bull. But Ambuscade said nothing more, just staring up at her.. And Na'an grinned all the wider in response. "You're quite the gentleman, you know." she said, leaning forward. With her free hand, she deftly dislodged the broadcaster and slipped it into her jacket's front pocket, where the indicator glowed dully through the thin leather. "I didn't even ask you about the rendezvous. That was far kinder than you had to be, thank you."The broadcaster safely procured, Na'an then stood in a fluid motion, finally letting the legs of the man she was pinning loose. She flipped the stock of the bounty hunter's repeater towards herself, running a finger along the bottom edge. A few quick taps opened an emergency control panel on the side, and a few more resulted in a dull hum as the battery discharged. Na'an pocketed the battery, then flipped the stock back towards the bounty hunter, offering him the now-powerless rifle. "Please understand," she said ruefully. "We really don't want you getting hurt over something like this. Nice guy like you."*** Oh, for Pete's sake. Her hologram finally activated, Leigh finally let her eyes roll. Only one of the three organics in this tiny space was listening--the man behind her was smart enough to see sense. Of course, it didn't hurt that his half-vacant expression probably meant he could Sense the child's panic as well as she could. The girl was even threatening to shoot if the other continued to move at all, which was indicative that her panic was well past dominating sense. "Thank you," she said pleasantly to Anven, gracing him with a smile. "We'll be returning to the alley presently. Now, if you don't mind, you might want to cover your ears." Her hologram closed its eyes, and she manually accessed her vocal processor's volume controls. "I said," she boomed, "This little chase you're going through is only hurting your cause. You've only succeeded in scaring her enough to threaten you. Relax and back out of the crevice."

She felt the pull on the blaster, but held firm. The move was enough to make her smile. She was comfortable with this weapon, it was one of the first things she had stolen. She had uncountable hours practicing with it. It was a part of her. Not this time. I am back in control She fired two quick shots. The first was right into the man, the second was into the facade of the building. If the first shot didn't do its job, the rubble from the second would at least take him out of the fight. Kent then turns to the other side of the wall, and pulls the lightfoil. It looks like she needed another way out.

*Gavin listened as the droid increased volume and rolled his eyes. It wasn't so easy at this point to move. A blaster was pointed nearly point blank with the threat of being shot whether he moved or spoke, leaving options to almost none. It didn't matter anyway as Gavin had made his move to disarm Kent, she reacted and fired.
He was thankful for the preparation he took in setting up the barrier. The shot fizzled off of it, leaving him unharmed. However, that was the up side. The second shot broke free the rubble around him and brought it down. Once again, he was thankful he prepped the barrier. Getting out would be an easy task, but at this point, doing so would cause injury to Kent and maybe the ones outside as well as send her into another panic. For now, she seemed to resume control of her mind, which was good. Deciding to try a different approach, he reached out with his mind to her's, hoping she'd hear him.*
<<How about we stop this little chase before anyone gets hurt. I promise, I don't want to hurt you or capture you. All I want is to talk. After that, I'll leave you be.>>
*In hearing him, he also hoped she recognized it from the man earlier, wanting to help her at least to some degree. If not, he hoped she ran quick so he could blow the rubble off of him.*

The offer seemed legitimate to her, and he had reassured her about her parents, so she had no problem with following him onto the ship. She was quite hungry, after all. So it was that she followed him into his ship, looking around at the bulkheads on their way to the cockpit.
She was glad that her parents would know that she was safe, and she was pleased that she was in the care of a Grand Inquisitor. That sounded like a title of importance, and that meant that she would be a lot safer than she had originally expected. And she finally had a name to call the man. Andor.
"I'm Valerie Ritz-Parr."
She was aware of the fact that he already knew her first name, but still, an introduction warranted one in return. Her voice was small and weak, timid even, quiet from its lack of recent use.
The ship rocked as it took off, her escape from Nar Shaddaa underway..
================
His only response was a sneer. If she honestly thought that that was the only battery pack he had on him, she was sorely mistaken. If she thought that that was going to disarm him, then she was a fool. But he let her survive her delusions.
He snatched the rifle out of her hands, then moved back away from her and stood up.
"Gee, thanks," he snarled at her, brushing himself off disdainfully. He turned to leave, then chuckled and turned his head back towards her.
"Do let me know if you manage not to die, eh?"

"Do let me know if you manage not to die, eh?" Na'an smirked. "Sure, why not. Try not to shoot me when I do."The alley was below and behind her, with the broken scaffolding of before hanging halfway down. With a node to the bounty hunter, she leaped lightly downwards off the roof, aiming for the scaffolding. She landed, rolled on the scaffolding, using her hands to flip her body and reduce the shock of the drop as it dumped her towards the ground. Out of some odd coincidence, she landed with one foot right on top of her discarded eyepatch. She knelt to pick it up, dusting the patch of black cloth with a tiny surge of pleasure. She'd taken the patch off prepared to use what was underneath, but...well. It was always good to get a reminder that you were competent enough to not need to cheat. The rest of this, though, was one hell of a cluster. The alley was littered with dead and injured pirates, and if she knew Leigh she'd get a numerical value of all the damage they'd personally caused as soon as they were back on the freighter. And the Sith...Na'an's good mood faded. The Sith had taken the girl. The Sith would do gods-knew-what to the girl. And except for make sure she hadn't died, no one had really gotten saved here, had they? Even the other kid was still being pursued... She shook her head. The brooding would have to wait. "Sorry to leave you hanging," she said to Cao, "but I think it's just about over here. I'm just gonna go back up Leigh, then we'll come back and get you. After this, I think I could seriously use a drink with a friend." She clapped him on the shoulder, then jogged off down the twisting path Leigh had followed, listening for her. As she hit her stride, she realized absently that Cao might be in just a little bit of shock. After all, the last time they had met, Na'an and Cao had fought...and Leigh was, after all, part of a legacy that still seemed to haunt him...
Well, then. It was good that the Corellian sector was nearby. That drink was sounding better by the second.

Kent's fear had turned to anger, and that anger began to influence her. It reminded her that there was no one as smart as her, no brain that could match hers. She was the one they should fear starting with the man trapped under the rubble. He was tracking her. She considered that he was just interested in her safety. If that was the case where was he the past 8 plus years she had been on her own in the Hell Hole that was Nar Shaddaa. And she was safe, she was in her home. He was the one that took away the safety of her sanctuary. Slowly all here fear of the pirates and their captain turned to anger at Gavin. She saw part of his left arm through the rubble. Severing it was as good a place to start as any. He would pay.
You followed ME. You tracked ME, and you came into MY home! You thought i was just a helpless girl! I have survived on this Force forsaken moon for more than half my life ALONE! Now you want to take interest and help me! No one wants to help, they only care about what they can get in return!
She thumbs the lightfoil to life. Its blade sputters and falters between a dark yellow blade and orange. It wasn't the best weapon against another saber or in blacking a blaster bolt, but against flesh and bone it would do as good as ever.
Well you can get this in return!
She quickly with the speed and agility of a well practiced gymnast trusts the blade to the exposed part of Gavin's arm with the intent on severing it. Anger had taken her completely. She wanted Gavin to suffer. All that had gone wrong in her life she put squarely on him. The heavy duracreat would pin him phisicaly, and the weight would take a lot of focus in the Force to move.

*Immediately he heard the blade come to life and knew things were going to get ugly. He hoped that despite the anger in her voice, she would have used it to cut a hole for her to escape. But he knew better. Her worse made it clear as day. His first instinct was to blow the debris away from him, however, building the energy naturally would take a few moments, moments he didn't have.
Focusing his energy once again, he recreated the barrier around him as the falling rubble had wore the last one out. While it was enough to keep his arm from being taken, it was a split second too late as he felt the blade meet his arm and burned it. Even with the barrier up, he could feel it pressing, trying to break through. The pain in his arm shot through his body in a flash. It was the second time she had attempted to harm him. This time, however, he wasn't going to let things go.
In an instant his body feed on the pain, his surging anger fueling the Force within him, giving him focus. He was thankful for the training he had received with the Dark Jedi. The ability to harness and control one's emotions, to use pain and let it fuel his power were things that had been drilled into him. It gave him great focus and allowed to build the Force and exert it faster. The Force quickly surged around him before being released in a small but powerful repulse. It was enough to destroy the rubble around him and push back any that was more than a foot away.
He was now free. He stood to his feet slowly, his ice blue eyes had become black from descending into the darkness for that moment. He took a deep breath before speaking, his eyes reverting back to blue.* "I may have followed you, but let us not forget, you first tried hurting me when I simply wanted to help. To some, it would have signed your death warrant. Be grateful that I simply just want to talk."

The repulse through Kent back toward the facade of the structure. It was never build to be strong. The force of the repulse and a 90lbs girl were enough to make a hole. She fell through the crumbling structure, and landed on her back stunned at Leigh's feet. Foil landing a few feet away, blaster still in its holster. Guhooooof! Agggggggghhhhh She groaned at the feet of the large droid, trying to stop her head from spinning and the stars from flashing. She began to take inventory. She definitely had a concussion. For most people this would be a problem but for Kent it brought back all the fear again. She couldn't trust her mind. After this her greatest weapon, her only weapon was gone. She was left with nothing. She did something she hadn't done in more than a decade. She began to cry, like a little girl.
