The Dr. was too close to whisper to Val. Kent knew him but didn't know him well. She though she wanted to trust him, but here on Nar Shaddaa trust is not something that can be given so easily. There was a hiding spot right behind Val, but Kent needed a distraction to reach it without being seen by these two up close. There was a waste chute on the other side of the ally. When it was full up top it would open. The trash falling would give her time to drop next to Val unnoticed. Kent could see picture the trapdoor in her head. If only it would open! She wanted it to so bad. Without warning it released, a a hundred pounds of trash falls out, making a racket as it falls into the ally. Kens leaps to the hiding spot behind Val. Val would know Kent was there, but Kent hoped the lucky distraction worked.

Na'an stood still outside the shop for a long minute, listening to the voices streaming in through the Force. There was the girl, the one that had sounded out of breath even in her mind, and the other one. Then two men, some indistinct, paranoid murmur...and some kind of doctor? Their thoughts seemed to tumble over each other, rippling through the air as real as sound. There were so many people responding already, and she wasn't calming down at all...if anything, the pressure behind her words was building.
The droid came out of the shop, holding a chip instead of the scrap haul they had arrived on Nar Shaddaa with. "He's remarkably easy to reason with, you know. If only you'd let me upload the language into your brain, you'd be able to get more out of him next time." She paused, inserting the chip holding their credits into a slot in her arm. "Are you sure you're all right? You have that look again."
Na'an started, then snorted. She turned back to face Leigh, stuffing one hand in her back pocket while rubbing at her eyepatch with the other. "Yeah, well. I'm just distracted. There's something going on down here tonight that caught my ear."
Leigh's holographic face flickered, her eyes rolling. "It's the most crime-ridden world in the sector. On our way here, we passed three robberies, six grifters and a bar fight that included fully loaded bowcasters. Of course something's going on."
"You know what I meant," Na'an groused, moving as if to slap the droid's chassis. "I mean, there's a girl. She's been yelling through the Force, and there's some sort of fight gearing up about it..." Her hand slid away from her eyepatch, her gaze serious. "She sounds scared."
She lapsed into silence, her eye tracking something invisible high above them both. Leigh regarded the young woman carefully, not following her gaze upward. This was one of those rare moments, when Na'an went quiet, where the droid wished she knew more about her friend than what she'd learned in the last three years. She didn't rattle easily. not since the surgery--but the sound of a kid in trouble always did something... Well, there was nothing for it. Leigh simulated a sigh, and clicked a lock over the slot with the chip. "Well, then, we should check it out. We have the credits...a side trip before the fuel station won't hurt the farm any," she said, patting Na'an's shoulder and making her hologram wink.
Na'an blinked up at her, then beamed, and it was decided. She leaned up against her friend, closed her eye, and spoke again through the Force, reaching out for the presence whose fear still seemed to be mounting.
<<Hey, you. Valerie. Breathe, honey, you're gonna be all right. You still looking for help?>>

As Anven wandered the streets of the refugee sector it began to become all the more obvious that the cry for help had reached the ears of many. He could feel through the force that there was beginning to be a gathering of people around the presence of the one who had called out through the force. He too began to make his way in that direction to see what has happened so far though as he began to get closer he started to fall into an old trick called force stealth where he began to conceal his force presence in order to hide from other force sensitives. As he began to draw closer to where he could feel several presences one being the girl who had called out through the force he only being able to recognize it from the call he had felt. It appeared the one that called for help was likely down an alley and from the looks of it there were already people staring down it though whether it was due to the call for help or from the commotion he faintly heard coming from that direction he did not know. Anven kept to the shadows as he watched from a distance keeping an eye on what was going on he just hoped he didn't come off as to suspicious as he slowly wandered along the edges of the street among the few others who passed by. Sadly what might work against him was that he was wearing a big cloak that hid what he looked like and covered his face beneath a hood but then again he just might blend in quite nicely with the shady folks of the refugee sector.

Aajax's gaze shifted between the two character's before him. The first to react to him, who he now knew was male... He seemed just too calm for anyone other than a person of particular interest. The second, equally appeared to be making every effort to seem like she too was in control of her reaction.
You have to understand, for someone to be considered a "person of interest" for Aajax meant one of two things: Either you ended up dead, or you ended up respected. Far less fell into the latter category than the former. But that was all something that only time could spell out.
Taking another drag on the cigar before putting it out against his bootsole, Aajax spoke again. As he did, he re-placed his helm back onto his head.
"Yeah, something like that."
He gestured toward the group in question
"As for them, I might know what is going on, lets just say that to me... that group of people is nothing but a bunch of stress relievers all gathered around a pile of credits."
His hands shifted a little as he brushed the grip of his Castellen Heavy Pistol, not really in a threatening way. More of a force of habit over years of needing to be quick to shoot and ask questions later.

He was entirely focused on the source of the rising distress. He had been trained to filter out the endless background noise of the Force so he could concentrate on one thing. Cao was set in his path, ignoring everything that wasn't directly related to making sure he didn't run into anyone. And so he strode forth with purpose, bypassing a few robberies in action, walking straight past a bar fight as a Rodian was thrown straight through the front window, the sound of bowcasters echoing from within.
He passed by a trade shop, the sign on the door -- Gavin Pol's Trading Post -- catching his eye as an anomaly. He turned to look as he walked past, raising an eyebrow at noticing that "Gavin" was a Wookiee. And, unfortunately, because he was turning to look, he was no long ignoring everything that wasn't directly related to making sure he didn't run into anyone. So, as logic would follow.. He ran into someone.
"Sorry!" he said quickly, throwing a smile back over his shoulder as he started hurrying off.
Then, what he saw made him stop dead in his tracks..

Andor noticed that Valerie had taken a step towards him as he mentioned safety. Things were progressing quickly and he could sense more and more people closing in. His mind stayed calm as he analyzed the situation.*
*He noticed Ronin, Valerie, Kent and a few other figures in the alleyway. It might be too late for diplomacy. But he'd still try.
"Valerie, my dear. I INSIST that your safety is of the utmost importance to me. I can and will get you safely out of here."
He looked at the Doctor, his voice growing darker.
"Listen here, Doc. She's fine. I can handle it from here, but I appreciate your concern. You wouldn't want to disobey the Grand Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire, would you?"
Maybe by revealing his affiliation with the Empire, he could get the doctor to back off. Not a lot of people choose to openly oppose the Empire.
A loud crash sounded behind him as a number of trashcans went flying. Andor's heart leapt as he briefly looked over his shoulder, but saw nothing. He returned his gaze to the young girl.
"Trust me, Valerie. You have special talents, don't you?" By special talents, he was referring to the Force, but he had a feeling she didn't really know how to wield it properly. "I can teach you to use it, to wield it to make you so powerful you won't ever feel unsafe again. You'll be strong enough to take care of yourself. How does that sound?"
He extended his hand, prompting Valerie to take it, to accept his offer and become his apprentice.

More of a force of habit over years of needing to be quick to shoot and ask questions later. "So someone over there is worth some dough, yeah? And you wanna collect."Well, that sounded like something she wanted to stay far away from. After all, she was on a schedule here. Places to be, Hutts to punch, males in distress to rescue… "Hey, go for it, I won't get--" The loud rustle-clangs coming from the alley drew her attention, and she peered around the corner just in time to watch an avalanche of trash pour from a waste chute into a dumpster near the group. Voices drifted as the din dwindled and the trash settled. Malora couldn't hear the words, but she could make out the people shapes a little better. "Wait, is that…" She focused on the obvious source of interest, huddled against the building. "..is that a kid?"The smuggler wheeled around to face the mystery man, careful to keep her expression and her tone casual, but her inner good guy was marching its way through her mind. So much for her interrupted 'I won't get in your way' speech. "That's the pile of credits, right? A kid? ...Looks like a few guys beat you to it already." She smiled a little. It didn't reach her eyes. "Plenty other bounties on Nar Shaddaa to collect. Trust me, they're everywhere. Better luck next time."

This was not what Valerie had expected when she had sent out a call for help. She had wanted help, not bickering. She was tired of the bickering, if these people wanted to help her they wouldn't be giving her orders or telling her what to do, she just wanted to go home, she just wanted to be safe again. She wanted to feel safe and..
<<Hey, you. Valerie. Breathe, honey, you're gonna be all right. You still looking for help?>>
She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, sending out only a brief sentiment in return.
<<Too many.. Too many..>>
She didn't understand why SO many people had responded to her call. Why they were gathered all around. Didn't they know that there were more important matters to deal with? She was still under threat of attack.. Why did it matter who helped her, so long as SOMEONE did? She wasn't even that important in the big picture, she didn't understand why she was of such interest to her hunter, she didn't know why so many people had flocked to her, she was just some nobody at this point, and everyone was talking to her all at once, the doctor was telling her who to go with and who to avoid, the young girl who had helped feed her was trying to stay quiet and failing as a trash chute opened up and it was all too much..
================
The pattern hadn't failed. The general flow of traffic in the direction of one particular alley was shortly emphasized by a loud clang. Ambuscade took that as his cue to hurry, leaping from rooftop to rooftop, slowing down once he got near to the source of the noise. He readied his heavy repeater with one hand, pulling out a concussion grenade from his belt with the other, as he approached the scene..
================
She could feel more coming, and she knew the feeling of the one rushing towards her. Even as the cloaked man held out his hand in an offer of safety, she knew what was coming. The stress, the fear, all of it was proving to be too much. She looked up at the man, then turned her eyes down towards the proffered hand. She wanted to take his hand, and she started to reach out for it...
And the fear proved to be too much for her to handle. The stress, the adrenaline, all of it came boiling up, manifesting in her head, and she brought her hands to her temples..
And screamed, as an explosion of raw Force energy burst forth from her entire body, sending out a shockwave all around.
It was what had gotten her away from Ambuscade's traps, away from his little gimmicks and his potshots and everything else he had thrown at her. Unfortunately, now it was taking her away from best shot at help..
She fell onto her knees, keeping her hand stretched out towards the cloaked man, somehow knowing that he would still bring her safety after all this.. knowing... hoping...

"She's not responding."
Leigh shifted as Na'an pulled away, kneading at the braided knot at the back of her neck. "I think there's too many people responding to her for her to process. If she's anything like I'll guess, she's not trained to handle talking to more than one other person at once, especially not under the stress she's already in."
Leigh processed the situation a moment. "So bypass the Force. Can you find her?"
"Yeah. There's an alley not far from here. Heavily watched, but no one new seems to be approaching it." Na'an shifted, adjusting the blaster rifle over her shoulder, and turned towards the street. "Let's go see what this is all about."
On cue, Leigh fell in step beside her, and the pair left the shop's yard, passing a man staggering in the middle of the street. The emotions coming from him were muddled, and from the sounds he made in the Force, the paranoia and alarm he was contributing to the general noise was unrelated to the incident. Na'an sized him up, anyway, as they brushed past him. Grey eye met blue and brown, locked for the briefest of seconds...then passed over them to focus on the path ahead.
"Watch that guy, I think he's drunk," she said to Leigh as they passed Caoimhin Shan.
The street was crowded, but Na'an was in no hurry. No one in the alley had moved, not since the second girl had done something quite loud--knock over a droid, maybe? Everyone seemed to be talking still, to the girl, the doctor....and...
Na'an froze. On instinct, her good eye snapped up from the road, scanning the air. Someone else was in that alley besides the set she had heard before. Two men, two women...and a presence that clung to her senses like the smell of rotting meat and old blood. "Shit." Slinging the rifle over her shoulder, she bolted into a run towards the alley, her breath hissing harshly through clenched teeth. Without hesitation, Leigh ran too, following her friend to skid around the corner. "Shit shit shit, this is worse than I thought," Na'an growled, checking the rifle for a charge as she ran. "It's not just some random thugs she's running from, there's a Sith here!"
"Sith?" Leigh needed no more clarification. She pounded forward to take the lead, shoving people aside to clear the path to the alley in her wake. Ahead, the fear was peaking into terror, the girl's mind pitching forward into incoherence at the Sith's presence and promise.
Too many...too many...
"No, honey, no no no, whatever it is don't freak out, I gotcha, don't--" Na'an yelled, out loud as well as as through a broad a Force connection as she could master. Suddenly, a bright light flared in the alley ahead, throwing Leigh back hard enough to almost hit her. She ducked to the side, barely escaping getting clocked by Leigh's arm, and plunged into the alley, one arm holding her rifle, the other reaching forward to grasp the girl's hand. "DON'T--"

*Gavin watched from his point in the shadows. He felt the sudden surge coming. He was naturally more sensitive to the fluctuation in the Force, but he didn't expect what happened next. Pulling himself completely into where he was hiding, the explosive energy passed by him, unaffected. But he could feel it. So much energy. It left him glad he had stayed behind. He could only imagine her feelings, her fear. She called for help, but the sudden appearance of so many would only leave one to wonder.
Deciding for now, his best bet was to stay hidden and simply keep watch over her. Taking a breath, he closed his eyes as he focused lightly upon the girl, trying to send calming waves to help her relax. He also spoke, softly and caring.
<<I know you are afraid. but be strong. I know not of those who are surrounding you, nor their intentions. If they had desired to hurt you, they would have done so. Trust in those that offer their aid and know that I am near and will watch out for your safety from the shadows and make sure you are free from the one who hunts you.>>

Kol watched Malora react to the discovery that the "pile of credits" was a mere girl and shifted his gaze between her, the alley, and the hunter that had approached them. He could feel the uncertainty in her mind, but also the determination. It would seem she had a bit of a problem with folks who barter kids for coin. Or in this case, credits. "Perhaps you should listen to the lady, friend. There are some credits better left unearned." He'd turned to face the hunter now, hands still in pockets and face still a mask of uninterested calm as he took more thorough stock of the man he faced. The weapons he carried were... problematic, but could be dealt with if need be. It was all the others gathering around and within the alley that gave Kol pause. Then a woman and a hulking robot of some sort barreled past and his attention shifted back to the alley as the young woman who had sent the original distress call erupted in a violent burst of energy.
He reacted quickly, more quickly than a human ought to be able to, and took hold of Karana's arm, pulling her clear of the alley entrance just in time to let the lessening wave of force pass by without incident. "Eyes open, girl. I can't protect you all the time."

*The force push knocked Ronin back a few feet, he barely got his bearing back when the sound of foot falls brought his attention to a women holding a rifle in on arm and reaching for the young girl. Ronin had a dilemma now, two targets, one to his left, on be for him. One a sith, the other an unknown assumed crazed woman, maybe even the girl's pursuer. Ronin half stepped to be in between the two targets, the sith to his right, the Rambo chick to his left. In one single movement his .48-caliber Enforcer pistol was withdrawn and point at the sith, his left wrist blade withdrawn and point at the woman's neck. Ronin was tired of playing around.*
"Make another move and things will get messy."
*This was aimed at both of them, but also for the young girl. No need for anyone to get hurt.*
"Now I know this creeper is a sith working for the empire but who the kiff are you lady?!"

Kent was the closest to Val when she erupted. Untrained, and unprepared she took the full brunt of it. Se was hurled up into the ally wall. There was nothing she could do. Unconscious She bounced and fell into Val, they rolled around mixing the two up, and messing up both of their hair. In the proses, she kicks Val hard in the head. Limply Kent lays there.

Jorek stepped lively through the streets of the refugee sector, he was doing his best to stay clear of anyone in his path. He didn't want anything to happen to the small package that he held clenched in his jacket pocket. The young pilot was ready to get off of this planet. It smelled bad and was always dirty, nothing like living on a Republic Star Cruiser. It would not be too long until he was back on one however. There was a shuttle leaving for the Core Systems soon and Jorek planned on being on it. It would take him back to Republic space, and he could check back in for duty with enough carsunum to last a while. Hopefully he would not have to come back to this place, or somewhere else equally repulsive in the eyes of the Republic, anytime soon. Or even speak with his contact. No, it was time for a few months of just his regular day-to-day routine. Eat, sleep, drill, and blow up some Empire stooges along the way. No more of this "meet a stranger in a dark alley," business. He could go back to being a good citizen of the Republic!! Well.. except for the carsunum of course. But that was his one freebee right? He used it to defend the Republic, not for recreational purposes. So.. that made it okay!
A scream rips through the air rebounding off of alley walls. People from all over start to turn and look in wonderment towards the direction it came from. No one moves closer though. Screams were a normal part of Nar Shaddaa life, but that was something... more. This was not a bar fight gone bad, or an attempted kidnapping. Something out of the ordinary was going on, and that scared people. The crowd started to pull back, and Jorek stood still. His feet were rooted to the ground as his mind tried to process what was happening. Several figures seemed to move towards the alley way in question, and some seemed to be being thrown away from it. A woman and her.. large companion had been heading for the entrance but had been caught up in the blast as well... Jorek began to step cautiously forwards..
"W..we should check it out, r.r.right Sockie?? We...we're part of the Republic. I sh..should help someone in t.t.t.trouble..!"
The astromech droid hollered loudly at him. Concern very evident in its metallic voice. Jorek kept moving though, one hand on the carsunum in his pocket, and in the other pocket a small Republic issue blaster pistol. Deep down below the nervous tendencies was a brave man, and it came out in times of stress. It was that part of him the carsunum enhanced when he was in flight. The hero, ready to respond with quick reflexes and thinking. The alley was not far, and the young man made sure to give the woman he seen earlier a wide berth, but forgot about her and her friend when he passed them by. Jorek stood at the edge of street and peered around the corner, Socket remaining behind him silent as he could be.
There was a lot more people than he expected. Two men and two younger girls were in the alley, and unless Jorek was mistaken the source of the blast was one of the girls. Even down at the other end of the alley it seemed at least two or three more characters were watching what was happening as well. What was so special about the four people in the alley way. Who were they, what brought them here, and why were they fighting? Jorek took a step back and turned to look at his droid companion, who remained silent. It was amazing how the small droid knew when to make noise, and when to keep it down. His hands withdrew the items in his pocket and he stared at them.. He couldn't do anything without the carsunum which meant he should leave and run to the docking bays where his transport home waited. On the other hand he was a Republic soldier and that gave him a duty to protect people.. even if he was just a pilot. He put the pistol back in his pocket and took out his Republic badge... looking at it gave him courage sometimes..
He very pointedly ignored Sockets disapproving silence and tucked his badge away to begin opening the package he had purchased minutes ago. He took out one of the vials of carsunum, tipped it out onto his hand and ingested it.. it would not take long for the effects to bolster his mind and body. Once it did, maybe he could figure out what was happening and put a stop to it!

"That's the pile of credits, right? A kid? ...Looks like a few guys beat you to it already." She smiled a little. It didn't reach her eyes. "Plenty other bounties on Nar Shaddaa to collect. Trust me, they're everywhere. Better luck next time." Aajax rolled his eyes, though it wouldn't be evident to anyone around him, due to the visor which covered his face on his helm.
Rather than reply, he simply rolled his shoulders a bit, shaking his arms at the elbow and loosening up the tendons and muscles that he was pretty sure he would be using for one purpose or another in the next few seconds"Perhaps you should listen to the lady, friend. There are some credits better left unearned." Aajax's attention snapped from the pair before him, to the commotion across the way. Come to think of it, there were too many bodies filling the street on that side. Perhaps this was a bounty he wouldn't have the chance to cash in on. But, that would give him time to... examine the couple (were they even a couple?).He hadn't the time to complete his pondering when the tension seemed to build to a climax, then snap. Within a split second Aajax felt a deep-seated need for covering from some sort of concussive force. He no longer wasted time wondering where he got these gut feelings. They had saved his life too many times, he obeyed them without question. In one motion, simultaneous with Kol's own, Aajax reached back and snapped his shield to his arm, dove to the left (opposite of Kol and Malora), covering his body as much as he could behind the surface of the shield as the streets erupted with a ear-shattering bellow.Kriff, that hurt He thought to himself as he picked himself up from the ground. Expecting to see Kol and Malora rushing to finish him while he was prostrate. His eyes snapped to them, but saw only Kol speaking intently to Malora. He jumped up, Castellen ready over the top edge of the shield's curvature."What in the nine hells was that..." His question was nothing but a farce. Having worked under so many Sith Lords he was quite accustomed to the power that their force-enraged shouts could bring forward. But to have it come from the girl... The hefty bounty became all too apparent as to why it had been placed on someone Aajax had previously deemed "insignificant"

Andor felt it coming, the build up of power. SO MUCH POTENTIAL. He grinned as the girl held out her hand, but suddenly she let out a wave of raw, uncontrolled force power. The sheer force of the telekinetic attack took Andor by surprised, causing him to take a step back.*
*Recovering quickly, Andor notices that the Doctor had a pistol trained on him, but Valerie still had her hand extended, wanting the Sith to take it. Next to her laid another female (Kent).
The Sith acted quickly. His mind opened up to the darkside of the Force as his right, robotic hand grasped Valerie's, pulling her to her feet. With his left, organic hand, he targeted the Doctor's .48 caliber pistol and initiated a basic Force-Pull, hoping to wrench the weapon from his adversary's hand.
"Let's go Valerie. I'll watch over you. Grab your friend," He briefly motioned towards Kent, sensing her raw, untrained power, "I've got a ship at the spaceport, which isn't terribly far. We can make it."
Andor had noticed the other woman enter the alley, but fortunately, the doctor stood between them, which gave the Grand Inquisitor the advantage.
Hopefully by now, he had the Doctor's pistol in his hand from his Force Pull. If not, well... Good thing Andor was good at thinking on his feet.

The smuggler gave a shrug. "I'm not equipped to tango with the Force today; that little explosion of power is gonna draw all sorts of people in. And given the monster robot that just ran by us a few seconds ago? I'm not equipped for that, either. I know when to fold." The smuggler had no love for Force-wielders, no matter the package they came in. Life was enough of a bitch without 'magic powers' mucking up her day, and wherever the Force was, mayhem wasn't far behind. Did it have its uses? Sure. But bubbling uncontrollably out of a child surrounded by bounty hunters and unknowns? No thanks. Malora knew her limits. She knew what she was. Ordinary. Lightly geared. Not the smartest, not the bravest, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, just squeakin' by, average run-of-the-mill spacer. She couldn't send people flying with her brain, or hack twelve security systems at once. She couldn't go up against the trained and knowledgeable and win without cheating, couldn't fly a ship like Fel, couldn't shoot like Mack, couldn't network as well as Jace, couldn't blow things up with half the style Liya could, and forget being able to do anything Wade could do when it came to layin' the smackdown. She found no shame in her short-comings, but it made life a right bitch sometimes. She could survive, though. She did that pretty damn good. Like a cockroach. You could burn, smash, slice, spray, drown, starve, grind those suckers into the dirt, and just when you think it has to be dead, it pops back up with a broken shell, a leg and a half and two bent antenna and just…keeps going. Maybe it's stubbornness, maybe it's an iron will, maybe it's a magic all on its own. But to survive, sometimes (okay, lots of times), you had to not run into the dark alley full of strangers like the badass you were in your mind so you could live another day. Malora eyed Aajax, poised behind his shield (which was pretty damn cool, by the way, I mean, who still uses shields? You gotta be confident in your skills. Obviously, the guy was some kind of pro something), weapon out, surprise in his voice. It was faked, because not only had he reacted with the same kind of precise swiftness as Kol (who was anything but ordinary), but unless you lived under a rock or never left home, the chances of you not knowing what that was were slim. That, and she was pretty sure he'd arrived knowing what he was getting into, and 'crazy Force powers' were not something left off the bounty list. He seemed sharp, though. Probably had his reasons. She was curious, definitely. "The kid's on her own, there's no way I'd be able to help against all of that." She frowned at Kol, turning slightly away from Aajax. "Besides, I've gotta find Fel and Connors, I don't have time for this shit. I need those coordinates, Kol, and then I need to get gone. I've got a mad scientist and his army of mutants on my ass, and that's just the tip of that iceberg." She didn't have to be Force sensitive to feel the conflict in the alley reaching boiling point. Mal raked her hair away from her face and turned back towards Aajax a little. "At least the Empire isn't here. Yet. Although I bet my tits one of those alley stalkers is a Sith. One sniff of power like hers? It's like crack for them, they can't not swoop in and help corrupt."

Cuyan got the rough fix on Ambuscade's position, sending a subsignal through to keep the link open. A twelve year old girl? What could she have done to earn this kind of ire? This would bear investigating. He jetpacked over to another location in Ambuscade's direction and activated his three hundred and sixty degree vision mode. No good. He would need to think of another option. A few whispered commands traced the location of a surveillance station nearby. A few more commands brought his speeder bike to his location and he mounted up.
A five minute speeder ride brought him near to the station. He scanned the structure to find where the cables ran and, finding it, shot up to the panel. He pulled his anti-security blades and cracked the panel, splicing into the feed and connecting his armor's systems to the network. He scanned through various surveillance feeds and found a curious assortment of people going into the same area. He pulled the coordinates and set off, he sent a ping through the link to Ambuscade, refreshing the trace for just a moment, finding him to be going in the same direction.
When he got close enough, he left the speeder bike and found a good vantage point. He saw a gaggle of people and his rangefinder lowered. He set up behind a climate unit, pulled his rifle off his back and looked down the scope. He saw a pair of young women who fit the description, one in what seemed like quite obvious distress. She was clearly scared, and he watched from a distance as she screamed and the very air moved, blowing the other girl away and affecting the entire environment.
She had power, that much was obvious. But she clearly had no knowledge of it's use, and that was dangerous in it's way. Had she killed someone with an accidental display? He saw others moving on the position, and a black cloaked man with a red tunic grabbed the girl and held his hand out to pull a weapon from another man.
Cuyan flicked the rifle to single fire and adjusted the scope. He inhaled, exhaled, and squeezed the trigger, sending a blaster bolt toward the outstretched hand. As soon as he fired, he engaged his jetpack, burning the last of the fuel to land in the alley with everyone else, engaging his power shield as he landed.
"Evening, burc'yase. Name's Cuyan Ha'rangir and I've got a few questions for the girl, no one needs to get hurt."
His T-visored helmet scanned over all assembled, and his finger moved the selective fire switch to automatic. He stood before all assembled. A fully armed and armored mandalorian warrior, beskar clad and bristling with lethality. It was obvious that, force users or no, he did not begin to fear anyone present.

Arkan was an unwelcome but familiar face on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. He had frequented the Smugglers Moon on many occasions and usually ended up killing somebody or shooting up a cantina. This time he did not intend on doing either of those things, though how often he listened to his own good intentions, it wasn't looking good for the populace. The pirate was walking along the streets of the Refugee Sector, the best place to find new recruits, when a message flashed up on his wrist panel. One of his contacts on the planet had picked up a transmission regarding a bounty in the area. Normally this would not have drawn the attention of the Captain, many bounties were placed and collected on nar Shaddaa daily, some of them by the Bloodrage Pirates. However this was a little different, the target was a potential Forcie and Arkan liked playing around with those things, they were a lot of fun.
The Echani responded to the message with a request for more details, he needed to be in on this quickly. Most of the organised group of Forcies didn't like when he toyed with what they really wanted for themselves, they were a jealous lot. Nar Shaddaa being a mostly lawless wasteland infested with scum, Arkan already had a developed network of low-lives and snitches who would do anything for a few credits or even just not to get killed! This meant that it didn't take long for one of them to locate a strange gathering of beings in an alley which was quite a long way from where Arkan was, that was a slight problem.
Holt, round up the boys and meet me near the location I'm sending you now. There's a bounty there that needs looking into. Prepare for Forcies, cap'n out.
Holt was one of the Reaver Gang leaders on the planet loyal to the Bloodrage Pirates. He had received the message while mixing it up in a cantina closer to the bounty than the Captain was. The message was well received, his boys were getting restless and hadn't had any action in a while, except from shaking down a few "tourists". Holt put his drink down and quickly made his way into the back of the cantina, there he found his helmet and some of his larger weapons. He donned the helm and made his blaster rifle ready before striding back through the front of the cantina. His gang knew what this meant and cheers filled the dank air as drinks flew and weapons were readied. The few non-gang members in the place must have browned their under-garments. The thirty strong gang left quickly and began the short journey to the meeting location less than a kilometre away.

"I SAID DON'T!"
Na'an slid into the alley and ducked out from behind the doctor, using her outstretched hand to push at the Sith holding the girl. In a single, fluid movement, she used the space from the push to bring her rifle up, gripping with both hands to aim at his chest.
"I swear to god, your kind just don't listen. Leigh?"
There was a small chirping noise. Na'an cocked her head, listening to something no one else in the alley could hear. Her eye never left Andor, but as she held her position a small voice sounded in Ronin's mind.
You're both awful at your jobs if your first focus isn't getting your target out of the alley. Tell you what, we'll get them somewhere safe, and if you're smart you and the Mando will help.
Without waiting, she fired the blaster, moving as soon as the bolt landed. From outside the alley, another bolt followed it--only this one was huge.
