We could handle it is a series of small timeskips. For example, instead of doing it in a drawn out way, we could skip around in a "montage" kind of way. I kind of like Titan's idea of us meeting in basic (he already knows some about fighting & command). For our first meeting, it could be Marcos & Titan each with a squad (along with maybe a few other squads) trying to work together in a simulated mission (with Xe playing the instructors & 'enemy' troops) ... let's say capture the flag (except the flag is a carrying case or something). Then we skip forward to both of us being Sergeants or Corporals in an actual mission, then skip to both Lieutenants or Sergeant Majors on a mission, then both captains on a mission, then skip to the promotion ceremony to each of us reaching Major (& each getting our own command like the one I listed above).

I am glad to see the three of us are on the same page here. This was actually something I was going to do. This is where it pays off to A) have a father who was in the army and have access to the military channel.

We can time skip and make Pawn an active member of the IR, if you like. He's much more of an administrator, than a fighter, excepting dueling in which he is very proficient with both a rapier and guard, and blaster pistol. He could be senior official, possibly directly working with/advising Nicademus Delvardus IV or he could be merely an imperial Governor. Thoughts, ideas? He could also be used as an ambassador, if you sought to deal with historically violent cultures, due to his own physical prowess and mental acuity.

What's the uniform of a recruit? Is it green combat fatigues, a black under-suit, or armor? I'm hoping we don't stay in full dress, constantly.
Well, if we're all listing what their characters are good at.
Personally, I think Titan would be predisposed towards either Intelligence (Spies!) or Special Ops (Irregular Warfare and whatnot). I feel like he would be too risky of a conventional commander, but IDK. Definitely not an ambassador, or administrator. If possible, he probably wouldn't even like to lead large, slow groups. Probably more of a Marine than a Army guy, preferring quick, targeted strikes on small targets, with rapid deployment and removal. Though I am curious as to what extent the Elite Troops here can be trained, and would Special Ops fall under Commando.
Basically, more Elite Troops, less Regulars, and very little Heavy Vehicles.

Basically, you want to be a Novatrooper like Marcos. As for the kit, I don't think it would matter as most of the 'focus' point in the time hopscotch will be combat or combat prep.

Alright, I spoke with someone from the GR and they actually had thought of somehow getting involved with the IR as the Republic. So I am gonna ask around their forum and a couple of their members. Try to get something working here.

Well in the Deep Core we have ALL THE PLANETS Gets tapped on the shoulder Ohh you want a list. Well Aargrah, Aargau, Khomm and Foerest are all the main planets in the Deep Core but you could say we have the others as well. Excluding the Whill world Tython, and Byss which belongs to everyones favourite Nexus. In addition there is Thule out in the outer rims and a mining outpost I write on Bothuwai.
As for active, everyone who has posted in the past two pages. Hopefully the others will meander back soon.

So the posting order seems to be Xe, Count, Tarim, Me. So I take it we've moved into the Training Rooms?

Admy do you want me to post before you? That little thing you guys had going, truly made me chuckle.
Also I want to apologize for my lack of posting often, down to one communal laptop which I get on like once a day at best. Mix that with the work I am doing it really slows things down.

I feel like this should become a tactic for you. Instead of tactics, or strategy, just throw a hi-speed, flying Titan to the problem. I'd gladly see that become a thing between Marcos and Titan

I feel this is the start of a beautiful bromance. Just kidding. Na, Marcos doesn't always have to be the one that wins, as long as the other side doesn't win either. & he will do nearly anything to ensure that someone on his side wins. Xe, feel free to step in any time you want. edit note: (on his strength/endurance) I see Marcos as performing roughly twice as effectively as his body size/build would normally indicate. The reason for this is twofold: 1) He was genetically engineered for increased strength/endurance (as one of the Admiral's early battle-clone tests) & 2) he is constantly increasing both (along with his rate of healing) with the Force. He doesn't know about either of those things yet, just that he is stronger than most people. Either of those things alone would increase his performance by roughly 60% above standard. Additionally, both of those things add to his impressive appetite, as he has to eat a lot to counteract the energy spent. TL;DR: he can lift twice as much & run twice as far as a 'normal' person that is identical to him.

Sorry about the delay, Internet connection decided to do it's own thing for a while. Had to run it down and hold trial.

Right, just so everyone is on the same page. I am working with the idea that the first timeskip has already happened. The reason so this is that I was getting annoyed with broken Basic & translating from Mando'a. That means that the scene we are currently working on is probably three-six months after he first set foot on the planet (& one-two months into basic). That is just enough time for him to get a solid enough hold of the language that others generally woln't notice that he isn't a native speaker unless the have other reasons to be watching for clues.

Real life is kicking me in the balls right now guys. Hopefully I can get back on track by Friday but just crack on if you are waiting for me. Personally I was going to do some tactics theory on a holo projector then have you run an obstacle course to further develop the team mentality and break down the "lone wolf" feel to it. Shamelessly stealing from Fall of Reach at this point

No problem at all Xeo, I've been suffering from the same thing, hence the 2 AM posts If you're having problems, I'm sure we could survive somehow I actually kind of like me and LE's dialogue, with the undercurrents and the positioning behind it. Kinda looking forward to seeing what will happen as they develop as a team.
