Sorry about my disappearance the last couple of days. Internet has gone down at my house, and I've resorted to using library/school connections. Of course, schoolwork takes priority, so I find myself without much online time for gaming/rping recently. Hopefully, this issue gets resolved soon. Or I get a refund. Either way

Unless I am mistaken we are not Xenophobic and openly accept aliens. However there are still an awful amount of resentment towards them, old habits die hard and everything

Basically, I picture the IR as the alternative to the Galactic Republic's bureaucracy. Less freedom, but more security due to a strong central government. Ex: Mid Roman Empire, or Post-War Yugoslavia (Under Tito, of course). Historically, this tends to breed strongly nationalistic societies, which would make it a fantastic morale source. Especially considering the militarism of the Empire, this would contribute to a whole "Everyone does their part" movement, such as in the Soviet Union, albeit more effectively (hopefully). All of it would depend on the leader, really.
Also, INTERNET IS BACK! I was on tech support for five fucking hours.
