Are you forgetting people? We could amend the charter. Call at a "Time of War Emergence Exception." Or change it entirely to reflect changing times. Call it a temporary admittance on certain conditions.
I really with Crom'nen wasn't on Ryloth, because he is better suited for this than is Belf'ima.
By the way, Selee, these are only Vic Stars. Coruscant probably sees fleets like that every day.

Yeah, but they are painted with the HoK sigil, spread HoK IFF, and that fleet has been twice on coruscant for... aggressive reasons. I am pretty sure they know it.

Even if some Senators don't remember/believe in the evils of the Sith, the last thing the Republic needs is more ties to force users to make us a bigger target for the Mandos. But I suppose I could be wrong. |

Interesting point Koronov, but aren't we already a target? With the Jedi spread so thin, don't we need all the help we can get? I guess Crom'nen would have to work a little magic beforehand in order to garner support. Or both sides could refuse any form of negotiation and cause a government shut down (Couldn't resist. Please don't punish me).
Duke, I didn't know it, so my NPC won't. By the way, what's HOK stand for?

By the way, what's happened to Alaric (or whatever his name is)? I'm waiting on him before I reply in the Military Committee.
It kinda stinks making a character who is so paranoid that he hasone person he really trusts. I've got one helper on Ryloth, and Belf'ima. I feel like if I do more, well, I'm too busy, and it violates my character!

Our Galactic Republic moves so slowly, no one would notice for months if we shut it down.
I am still waiting on Alaric as well. Perhaps the military committee needs to move on to other business while we await a report?

I've approved your request to join the usergroup, but what planet would you be representing? Brentaal? If your planet is not already a Republic member IC, we would probably want to formalize that IC with a small RP, before you move in and do anything official.  There might also be some OOC concerns to discuss, just because we're trying to avoid spreading our writers too thin. |

Danka, and yes canonically Brentaal (IV) is a Republic controlled planet/system. Its had a Senate seat in the Galactic Republic since the Old Republic. Do you really think I'd go into this all willy nilly?  Anyways, I'll make a couple posts soonish. Thanks again. |

I don't think Koro means canonically, Argos, he's referring to within JvS. This isn't the canon republics, it's a new one, a successor Republic if you will. In short, to become a part of the JvS Republic, there's some RP needed to establish that relationship, as Brentaal IV very definitely and strictly used to be Mandalorian.

I can, however, if you want an injection of some life and energy into the room. Even bumbling old Georj Lorrimer can progress a plot quite nicely.

Military Committee situation is that we're stuck, since we had an intruder who caused a scene, then stopped posting. I suppose one solution would be to have him removed from the room itself to a secure location outside, then we could continue with the meeting. It's technically GMing, but we can't be held hostage forever. This is a little ridiculous. |

We need to make Brentaal IV a member of the JvS Galactic Republic for in-character purposes. Given that it is a planet located in the Core Worlds, is located on a critical hyperspace junction, and was a canon Republic world, there's absolutely no reason you can't join, but we need to write out that process before you'd officially be a Senator. |
