With all that is going on right now with the Senate, I am wondering when a good time to drop my secession speak would be?

Quick question did Cihl's writer miss something? Crom: After allowing the Jedi to enter, he hit the button to detach the pod and activate at the pod. Cihl: I will also ask the Seargent at Arms to bring in Knight Mahir, if he is so obliged. ... oops So uh, where exactly is the jedi?

I'd be with Crom'nen, he took the time to "arrest" me IC at the temple.

Yeah... so I'm just going to go ahead and try to clarify that IC.

Whoops. I just noticed nothing was happening. Maybe the pair of guards was simply joining the arrested on their separate hover thing. . .idk. My bad.

OK, I'm going to move on with the first part so everyone isn't waiting on me. If Mahir wants council or if anyone wants to volunteer, we can assume that happened first.
Oh, and Fortis, if you want to add your objection, feel free to interrupt.

Chancellor, I would request you edit your post on the following points
the first being Yavin doesn't have a Senatorial Delegation in canon or on the boards,
the second being considering that the primary population of Yavin would belong to the Jedi academy and that the Deputy headmaster is in the audience of the rotunda, if a delegation from yavin were to support a motion to begin these hearings, they would be recalled before the floor was opened.

. . .youre killing me Dia. I just picked random planets in the Republic that didn't have Senators. I could argue that Jedi don't have planets and they serve ON planets that the Republic welcomes Jedi, but it flat out Doesn't Matter.
changed to Naboo. Crom, saw you referenced Yavin-- just change it to Naboo and move on. I know sometimes Kel'Al NPCs a Senator from there. But if that poses a problem. . .we will just cross that bridge when we get there.

Completed as instructed, Chancellor.
BTW all, Mahir told me that he might not be on much this next week, which is why I was pushing to try to get more done this week, but failed. So we'll see how this goes for now.

Apologies if i am holding the trial. but i will be honest, I am finding it difficult to gather motivation to make posts that more or less stall a story that seemingly already has it's ending chosen and is just waiting to be written so that the chess board spells out "Tony stark" when when the White king is met with mate. I apologize if this post makes no sense (i get it a lot) I wrote a decent sized late night rant, when i merely wanted to express my displeasure with the route the senate has chosen to take on this issue, and to express my wishes to move on without me, i will rejoin when the trial is done

which direction is that? how do you choose to RP? I like a road map to my destination and how I choose to get there is my favorite part of the journey.

But if that poses a problem. . .we will just cross that bridge when we get there. Just a few tiny ity bity things here, it does matter because you're deciding the fate of a planet and it's government and all that lovely mumbo jumbo. Yavin is a special case since it doesn't really have a native population and is kind of literally just a Jedi facility. Also not to pint fingers or be a prick or anything like that, but using Naboo isn't much better since as you said Kel NPCs the senator there, so you are kind of subverting him, I mean I'd like to at least hear him say "ya that's cool" or whatever in the interest of keeping people's people were they are and not NPCing other people's people or disposing of other people's people without their knowledge, but again that's just me. However in the interest of fairness and such and whatnot I can toss a Caridan delegation your way if you'd like to help with some of the confusion and interrogation and things like that.

go for it, Mikey. No way I am going to get sucked in to arguing this point. I stand by my rationale and so no reason to change it. Some of us have to keep things moving. If you want to help-- by all means, love having you around when you are here. But I have to make judgement calls to keep going. As you know, I don't have the most creative of minds, but no one else was chopping at the bit. AND I HAVE BEGGED TO GET RID OF THIS SEAT TOO.
By all means, jump into the fray if you are truly interested in the RP we have going, we'd love to have you.

Wonderful, for the record wasn't trying to suck you into an argument, just tossing in a few thoughts. As for showing up I think I shall, in the next couple days, just to keep things moving along and interesting and such.

Good on ya. I will see you then. I am waiting another day or 2, before I begin to try and mount a defense for the jedi.

I thought Mahir was providing the defence for the Jedi? or is he just a witness that is being questioned? I mean, I can provide a defence for the Jedi, if Mahir is merely acting as a witness to be questioned...
