The Draykon Crew

Oh you're good, but you may have unknowingly pissed Adrien off.

Alright going to mix words here, I'm not trying to come down on anyone, but I'm not going to hold anyone's hands.

I'm not sure how many of you check this thread and I would add those of you who aren't in the Skype chat 1.) I don't know all of your Skype names or if you have Skype at all and 2.) it's been inactive for months anyway, but here goes.

For those of you who are still apart of the crew we are still on Coruscant's terrain if you want to post. That being said, we're no longer going to be waiting around for weeks or months at a time for posts, jump in when you like but we're going to start moving around at a more steady pace and if you fall behind we will fill you in so that you can start posting again.

Secondly, I'm adding some crew members to get things going. You may have seen one post already, the second is going to start posting soon, and there may be one more coming along. I plan on adding more as needed to breath some life back into this crew and bring us back to where we once were.

Finally I'm not quite sure who's still in and who's out, a heads up would be great. Some of you have contacted me, this is not directed toward you. I'm not giving anyone an ultimatum, I would never do that, but I would at least like to know if you can't post or whatever so that we know if we can move along or if we should wait a few days.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick here but I'd really like us to get our act together and start writing stories like we used to.

I'm going to tag everyone who is/was supposed to be a part of the crew to see where they stand and so they will actually check this.

Thank you all, that was great to see, I'm going to give the others a chance to respond too so I'm not going to post until tomorrow or they post which ever comes first. As for our newest crew member he is as you can see on Coruscant Sylas, John feel free to post here whenever you feel like it.

Hey crew. It's Mudblade. Sorry for the extended hiatus.

And this is my new character. I sent Ade a message since I wanted him to know first but I got no reply. I just want to clear the air.

I've told Boss and a few other people that I've been having difficulty writing for Amond. It felt as if I was writing uphill, laboring with each word. When Malkav(you now know him as Jonn Sylas so you can thank him or not) asked me to come back to JvS, I had re-evaluate my relation with my own character. And after reading some of my old posts from the old site, I found that I'm not a patient writer, and as much as I'd hate to see the effort I put into my previous character to waste, I realize that he's a long way from being the character I set him out to be in the end. Amond was a blank slate I built upon. I'm just not sure if I have it in me to see it to the end. In this case, it's the writer that's at fault. I just didn't have the foresight to see the kind of challenge I'd be going up against.

Aidan is my attempt at starting over with something more established. Something more polished and with a few limits taken out. I'd be lying to myself if I said he's Amond with a few more years and combat experience. But I know Aidan reflects the solemn side to Amond that I couldn't quite write since he was so young and naive.

That being said, I apologize to the crew I left without an explanation. To Hannah and the girls that gave my character direction. And to Ade, who gave me a great group to interact with and flesh out Amond's character even more.

I'd like to speculate he's alive but I'm not familiar with what happened on Nar Shaddaa.

In a nutshell, Adrien had an evil clone who took over the crew by taking Adrien's place. All in all he generally did just very bad things and eventually when Adrien came back to retake his rightful place bad went to worse as the clone realized what was happening. A showdown happened, the warehouse and dock got blown to bits, and whoever wasn't on board with the rest of us was presumed dead because they couldn't escape the blast, including Tobias.
