All had been going rather well for the last hour or so in the cantina. The four women of Payne, Mildhurt, & Strange law firm were on their third round of drinks and Stefanie had finally begun to enjoy herself a little bit. It had been a while since they had all been out together for a night on the town, and now with all of them laughing, joking, and having a good time, it was actually quite refreshing. It was then that the lights went down and a voice could be heard over the music - the voice of none other than Dr. Wilhelm Van Buuren, who had apparently bribed the DJ somehow.
"Oh Dear Gahd...."
Stefanie muttered with a shake of her head and a half amused, half exasperated side long glance at Kassidy who in turn laughed as she set her glass down on the table.
"Hey, don't give me those 'Strange looks'. Besides....it's free publicity." She replied with a wave of her hand, and an amused look of her own as the voice of Dr. Samael Canaan, who was also apparently up in the DJ booth with Wilhelm, could now be heard singing that song over the speakers while four of the Heartthrobs made their way over to the table to shimmy and gyrate around them.
"Strange looks?" Nikky had leaned in speaking to Lindsay in a curious tone. "What does that mean? I thought Stef looked fine...."
Lindsay had just taken a drink of her beverage, her eyes glued to the Heartthrob, Thunder Dazzle, who was nearest to her and moving his hips in ways only a seasoned stripper knew how to do, when Nikky made her inquiry. Lindsay swirled the wine around in her mouth while making a small motioning gesture with her free hand as if to say, 'Hold on a minute.' ,before swallowing the liquid and leaning over to whisper to the younger woman.
'Strange looks' is when Stefanie gives someone one of her many varied half accusing, half amused looks like she just gave Kase....or when she's in the courtroom and staring down the opposition. We dubbed those 'The Strange Looks' years ago back in college. You usually don't have to worry unless she gives you one of those hard stares she's so good at. Kind of like those stares she gives Detective Douche when he barges into her office, or when he tries to assert his limited authority during a court case."
Arching an eyebrow, Nikky lifted her beer bottle and nodded her head before taking a drink, savoring the ale a moment then letting it wash down her throat with a contemplative look on her face. She remembered the look Stefanie had given the Detective the last time he barged into her office demanding that she allow him to speak to one of their clients he had arrested a few days before for some ridiculous charge of loitering in front of the Grand Dukha - never minding the fact that the gentlemen in question actually worked in the building, and had just gotten off work, and was in the process of hailing a speeder taxi when Douche arrested him.
"I see." Nikky nodded in understanding of Lindsay's explanation as she took another drink. "So in other words, don't be a Douche."
Lindsay tore her eyes away from Thunder Dazzle long enough to give a Nikky a chuckle and a pat on the shoulder. "Exactly! Don't be a Douche!"
Their attention was soon diverted to another dancer, a female this time, who had slid in front of the Heartthrobs and got up on the table where the lawyers were seated. Almost as if on cue, all four sets of eyes trailed up the young woman's lithe body as she moved with suggestive motions to the music. Kassidy's mouth formed a disbelieving "O" when her eyes seemingly found the young womans face first.
"Oh...my...."
"Gahd...."
Quickly tearing her gaze away from the dancer, Kassidy's and Stefanie's eyes met in semi-shocked expressions.
"Oh hell...." Was all Lindsay could say when she realized what was going on and the uncanny resemblance the female dancer had to her. Dropping her gaze to the others, she just shook her head in disbelief.
Although she tilted her head in confusion at how the other three were reacting to the female dancer, Nikky remained silent for the moment gauging the situation as the mood had changed from fun to something more serious. Meanwhile, Stefanie shook her head as if to clear it and clenched her jaw tightly before standing up to move away from the table.
"Stefanie, wait...."
Kassidy began, as she had also stood up and placed a hand on Stef's arm, halting her in her steps. Stefanie turned to meet Kassidy's gaze while holding up a hand in a 'stop' gesture before dropping it to her side again. "Don't, Kassidy....just....don't. Do you see who she looks like?" She pointed a finger at the dancer who was still on top of the table doing her thing.
Kassidy dropped her own hand from Stefanie's arm and brought it up to rub across her forehead. "Yes, Stef, I did....but it's not her! It's just some random woman that happens to look like her! Come on, Stef, don't let her resemblance to Crystal ruin tonight." Kassidy's tone was almost pleading in the attempt to get Stefanie to stay at the table as a glance back told her the young woman had finished her dance and was now hopping off the table to join the Heartthrobs while Samael called for applause for all of the dancers.
Eying her friend carefully, Stefanie shook her head almost sadly. "I can't, Kase. I just...can't. Sorry...."
As Stefanie walked away, disappearing somewhere up by the bar, Kassidy shook her head with a sudden weariness she didn't have before. Taking a seat at the table again, she buried her face in her hands and breathed deeply. Nikky looked from Kassidy to Lindsay as she tried to figure out what had caused Stefanie's abrupt departure.
"Uhm, wait a minute...did I just totally miss something? What just happened here? Why did Stefanie leave the table?"
Sighing deeply, Kassidy leaned back and folded her arms across her chest as she chewed on her bottom lip for a moment before replying. "The female dancer looks almost exactly like Stefanie's ex girlfriend from a few years ago. Four years ago now, in fact. They had been together for a few years before then, and then all of a sudden, out of the blue, they broke up. It wasn't good."
Kassidy looked away, gazing round the cantina and Lindsay picked up the explanation where Kassidy left off.
"To be fair, we don't know the exact details of the break up because Stefanie never talks about it. Whatever it was really did a number on her though. Not once in the last four years has she ever even mentioned Crystals name, or not aloud anyway....and we don't bring it up. We tried to get her to talk about it when it first happened, but she never would. She'd just walk away whenever we brought it up. So now we just skirt around the subject of Crystal Kayne."
Nikky was a little bit in awe of hearing something so personal about Stefanie, but she sat and listened quietly while Kassidy and Lindsay gave her a bit of insight into their past before they arrived on Honoghr, before she knew them. A past that went deeper than any of them would speak about in a crowded bar on stripper night.

Lieke had snuck into the Bubble and Squeak a few seconds before the Heartthrobs and Nancy performed their routine, intending to surprise the girls. But as she strolled up behind their booth, everything seemed to go sideways. Stef seemed upset as she stood up and headed towards the bar, something that was explained a few moments later by Kassidy and Lindsey. She had never asked Stef much about her exe's, nor did the possibility cross her mind that one of the dancers here would resemble her. It was then, that her attention shifted over to her brother as he exited the DJ booth, just shaking her head at him.
Wilhelm gave a wave to the crowd, before getting out of the way for the DJ to take back over. As he exited the booth, he gave Sam a high-five, before looking over to where Lieke was shaking her head. Well, that didn't not seem good, as his gaze drifted over to the bar. He nudged Sam and pointed over towards the bar at that moment =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= Seems she needs your help Sam... Do be gentle with her... With that, Wilhelm headed straight for the booth where the women were seated, and slid down onto a seat, with Lieke doing the same on the otherside of the group. He could sense the mood wasn't exactly how he and Sam had predicted it would go after that special dance =Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren= This wasn't exactly the reaction we had expected to elicit... I feel like this was our fault...

Samael noticeably frowned when he noticed what Nancy’s presence elicited to the lawyers, and particularly to Stefanie Strange. From their several encounters he had had with Kassidy, Lindsay and Stefanie, the latter was the one that intrigued him the most, not that ever outwardly showed it or could factually explain it, but there was just something about her. Samael had always known her as tough, and quite honestly badass, always getting her point across without sugarcoating anything, and tonight, just tonight it was a different facet he saw from Stefanie Strange. Looking from that table towards his friend, Wil, Samael nodded thoughtfully and pondered on that.
“Will she, really…?” It was a rhetorical question, Samael was certain that she didn’t need any one at all, the way he noticed Stefanie walking away from her friend, that was a tale tell, but he would give it a try. Smirking at the thought of being gentle, Samael inclined his head. “I am sure I can show her just the right dose of gentle from my part.” Putting the mic down where he had retrieved it earlier, Samael and Wilhelm separated then and there. While Wil headed to the lawyers’ table where he was joined by his sister, Samael looked at Lieke greeting her with a smile before finally turning on his heels to go and find Stefanie Strange.
Stepping up next to her, not saying anything at all for now, instead he hailed the bartender and gestured to the lawyer by his side before looking down to indicate that he wanted not only a drink for himself, a scotch and a Corellian whiskey for Stefanie, Samael just waited patiently before finally turning his body, his entire attention onto Stefanie Strange.
“I wish to apologize, Counselor Strange.” Samael said sincerely, for having briefly overheard what had happened there that had caused Stefanie to up and leave, Samael couldn’t have known at all, when he had requested for Nancy’s presence it was only because he had thought that she would enjoy it, at least, but how deadly wrong he had been with that decision. “While I do realize that I might not be your first go to person to have a talk with, just know that whenever you do need someone to listen without any judgments, I shall listen.” He sincerely told her just when the bartender served their drinks and he looked back at Stefanie with a faint smile, he did mean those words, and perhaps she would have less apprehension in talking to a near perfect stranger.
“For now, I just took the liberty to order you another drink and try to at least get you back in that joyous mood I have seen you exhibiting before all of that.”

The "Bubble & Squeak"...Aedon had heard about this place the whole world over. Nystao was known to be one of the best places on the planet to experience the nightlife. And that was just what the Zeltron Captain needed right now. A little bit of the nightlife, far from anyone who knew him; a chance to just be himself and let loose. Even as he walked up to the building, noticing the announcement on the marquis, he felt instantaneously-lighter in spirit. He eased his way inside, making note of the ladies performing on stage. He nodded their way, giving a wink to one of them. He was dressed in a wine-red, button-up, spidersilk shirt, tailored collar, with a loosely-knotted tie. The shirt was untucked from his stark-black slacks, and his black vest remained unbuttoned so he could show off the shirt. His slick black wing-tip shoes finished off the ensemble. His first stop was, of course, the bar; where he eased up beside a well-dressed gentleman who was speaking with another woman. As the barkeep delivered their drinks, he looked at Aedon questioningly. To which, of course, Aedon would respond. But with what? Was he feeling like playing it safe, or...kriff it.
"Wookiee Wallbanger. Straight up."
The look he got from the barkeep was one of caution. Aedon scoffed, pulling up one of the locks of his hair.
"You think I have this hair color for the fun of it? Trust me, I've got this."
He flashed the barkeep a knowing smile, and got the response of a shrug. The drink was a seven-tiered shot, each liquor heavier than the first, all the way to the bottom. The bottom three layers were considered 200-proof, and supposedly only Wookiees were known to be able to handle the burn without spewing the drink back up. When the drink was poured, it looked much like a poorly-designed rainbow; black on the bottom, then dark violet, neon green, blood red, startlingly-clear, sunspot orange, and the top was a frothy white. The froth was considered the burnout of the top two tiers of liquor coming into contact with each other, mixed in with a sort of pineapple rum.As the shot was handed to him, Aedon made sure to toss a credit chit his way and told the barkeep to run a tab on the excess.
"Just let me know if it runs out, I'll toss ya another."
He waves a thank you to the man and slips another ten-cred chip into his tip jar. Staring the shot down, Aedon noted that his lengthy violet locks tended to sway back and forth near the rim of the glass. His head wasn't really hanging that low - had his hair really gotten that long? He swept one side of it back, tucking it behind his ear. He was enjoying the rhythm of the music, and this first shot was just the one to kick off his night.
"Bottom's up!"
He tossed the shot, making sure to hold it over his mouth and watch the liquors blend into each other before allowing it to flow into his mouth. The lighter liquors were rushing to the top, and the heavier liquors moving towards his lips. As soon as he felt the tingling sensation of the darkest alcohol, he let the river of madness in. In one fell swig, he swallowed the shot, and the kick that followed was something akin to brimstone being shoved down his throat. He couldn't help but involuntarily tap the side of the bar, his eyes squinting and his nostrils flaring as he nearly hyperventilated. When he opened his eyes, he noticed the room was a bit brighter, meaning his pupils were likely dilated a bit. He coughed lightly, and smiled through the pain.*
*That drink...was really something.Waving the bartender over, he started to order another, and then, relented.
"Just...a double of your best scotch, if you please. On the rocks, although not too many. Don't want to murder the flavor."
The barkeep nodded, sliding the shotglass toward the sink in the well of the bar. Moments later, Aedon had his choice drink in front of him, the same way that he expected his night was going to be. All in front of him.

Kassidy was about to get up and follow Stefanie to the bar but noticed that Samael was already on his way toward her friend. She had known that Stefanie had thought about consulting the doctor recently on the level of a doctor/patient basis. Gahd knew Stefanie Strange needed some kind of help for all those issues she kept bottled up inside herself and maybe this was the opening needed to give her friend that little push in seeking some sort of counseling. Seeing Samael position himself next Stefanie, through the dim lighting of the establishment, put Kassidy a little more at ease. Smiling to herself, she picked up her glass and took a drink before looking up at Wilhelm when he joined them and took a seat at the opposite side of the table along with Lieke. This wasn't exactly the reaction we had expected to elicit... I feel like this was our fault... Setting the glass down again, Kassidy idly traced a fingertip over the rim before turning her head to meet Wilhelms gaze. "Don't worry too much about it, Wil. It's nothing.""Stefanie is just...."Lindsay began tentatively before Kassidy, not knowing for sure how much Wilhelm and Lieke had overheard before they sat down, spoke up again while trying not to give too much of a lengthy excuse in the process."Being Stefanie. She has her moods and right now it's the 'I need my space' kind of mood, so we give her that space.""Exactly." Lindsay finished as she popped a chip into her mouth and chewed thoughtfully before swallowing. With a glance up to the bar, she then continued to speak with a smile. "She looks like she's in good hands now, so where were we in our fun times....and are the Heartthrobs going to have another performance tonight?" She asked Wilhelm with a feigned look of innocence on her face.
Kassidy and Nikky looked at each other then at Lieke, the amusement apparent in the two lawyers' eyes, while Lindsay shrugged nonchalantly "What? Even you three can't deny they were hot." She stated in a matter-of-fact tone."Especially Thunder Dazzle..." Nikky piped up with a teasing smirk which caused Kassidy to burst with laughter at the slight blush that was beginning to creep up Lindsay's face."Well he IS pretty fluid and flexible in his dancing....""I'm sure that's not all he's 'fluid and flexible' at, Linds." Kassidy winked with a grin as she gazed around to the other occupants of the table, while lifting her glass to her lips.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------Meanwhile, up at the bar, Stefanie had taken a vacant stool and sat deep in thought while idly rubbing the condensation from the side of her glass. Her attention was captured by Dr. Samael Canaan's arrival by her side as he stepped up next to her, ordering a drink for himself and apparently one for her too, before turning his full attention to her while waiting for the bartender to get the drinks. His first words were an apology, which Stefanie found a little odd considering he really had nothing to be sorry for. Just then the bartender place their drinks in front of them with the admitted explanation from Samael that it was his attempt to get her back into the joyful mood she was in before. He had also made the offer to listen if she wanted to talk..
Pushing her empty glass toward the bartender, with a murmured thanks, she accepted the fresh drink then shifted on the bar stool to face Samael. Knowing that either Kassidy and/or Lindsay already gave him a brief rundown of why she left the table, Stefanie gave a smile that didn't quite erase the turmoil in her eyes."Please, it's Stefanie....and though it is appreciated, there's no need to apologize, Dr Canaan. You couldn't have known the dancer looked like someone I was once involved with. The resemblance was just a shock and I probably over reacted...." She stated with more confidence than she really felt at the moment. Taking a drink, she set the glass down in front of her again then turned to meet Samaels gaze once more."Are you sure you want me to start talking? It could take a while, you know, because apparently I have a lot of extra emotional baggage these days." She quipped with a bit of a light tone and a slight smile. Looking past Samael, momentarily, she arched an eyebrow as a stranger, who had entered that bar moments before, downed a gnarly looking Wookiee Wallbanger. Pursing her lips with a semi amused expression on her face, she then looked back to Samael again, a seriousness in her pale hazel eyes as they met his gaze once more. "Maybe talking is a good idea, but not here. Somewhere more private and less crowded...." She spoke evenly while retrieving her glass from the bar and taking a sip of the whiskey within.

Usually Samael, despite having the Force on his side, did not quite rely on his faculty of his to read onto other people’s emotion. He might have been an unorthodox doctor, at least some would say, but never once he would tamper with people’s emotions because after all, they were all entitled to them, unless really those people pissed him off, like Douche often did whenever he lingered around too much someone he now considered like his little sister too. Usually whenever Douche was around and Samael was too, the Epicanthix would often task Maze to deal with that nuisance of a detective…
But that is another story, one that Samael prefer not to revisit for the time being, especially when he was in the presence of a lawyer, a lawyer he did find fascinating, there was just something about Stefanie Strange that made him want to learn more about her, not the intimate way, far from it, though if that came in the long run, then score for Samael, but right now he was more concerned about Stefanie Strange for the reaction that Nancy had elicited then and there.
By the bar, Samael obviously has his attention on Stefanie, and he still did notice that turmoil in those extraordinary eyes of hers, one that for now he did not comment on, because it might not be the right moment for her, and that was until actually he did hear loud and clear her statement there, and was actually opening up a little, even if he figured out that fact when he overheard that conversation Kassidy and Stefanie had. “Stefanie, then,” He told her with a little smile before inclining his head. “As long as you call me, Samael.” He was about to add something else, but then he heard someone by his side ordering a Wookie Wallbanger, which briefly got Samael to turn to look at this energumen with an impassive expression, before shaking his head. Briefly looking to where he knew his trusted acolyte was, Samael briefly blinked and noticed Mazikeen advancing towards the bar and sliding up between Samael and the Wallbanger lover.
“You seem like someone who is in need of some fun?” Maze commented slyly with an amused smirk before chuckling briefly and looking at the purple head briefly and just turning her attention to the bartender and just putting a finger up, since she was sure that the bartender knew by now what she did drink and did not need to spell it out for him.
In the meantime, Samael, totally unconcerned with what was happening next to him, or what Maze was up to, he had returned his attention onto Stefanie, he had heard what she had said previously and he inclined his head knowingly. “A while or not, something does tell me that you are in need to let it all out, since you still have been affected earlier by her resemblance.” Moving away from the bar and getting off the stool altogether, Samael moved his hand in her direction to either take it or not if and when she decided to get off her own stool. “I know just the place, it’ll be just the both of us, the bar at the back, private one, I’ll even dismiss the regular bartender and I’ll keep the drinks afloat if that is what you want.” Taking his own scotch from the counter, Samael held it for now, but still he had his hand in her direction awaiting on whether she would accept his offer or not.
From that brief exchange he had with Stefanie, clearly Samael understood a little more the lawyer, and why she seemed to be the way she was showing everyone, in court or at work, and now the fact that she had preferred to have a talk in a less crowded environment told him a few more things, not that actually he was treating her as a patient, far from it actually, it was more him wanting to help her out to solve some issues as a friend.

With a quick glance over to the table where the other were still sitting, now joined by Wilhelm and Lieke, Stefanie caught Lindsay's eye when the blonde lawyer looked in her direction. Smiling at what she saw, Lindsay gave a slight nod before turning her attention back to the occupants of the table. Facing Samael once more, Stefanie arched an eyebrow at his suggestion of going into the private bar to talk. Tilting her head a bit to the left with a half smile, she eyed him momentarily.
"Well then, how can I say no to those options?"
She teased lightly, grinning a little as she took his hand and got off the bar stool, still holding her drink in her free hand, and followed him to the doorway to the private bar area.

Despite noticing Stefanie’s quick glance over a certain direction, Samael did not need to look over his shoulder for he figured that the attorney was looking at her friends’ direction, who had been joined by Wil and Lee. Samael only kept his eyes onto the brunette lawyer and waited patiently on whether she’d take his offer or not.
After a little moment, she finally agreed to his suggestion, not that he even offered something that wouldn’t go against her original wishes, because she did mention that she would talk, but preferred to do so in a less crowded place…
“I think the correct statement there would be, why would you say no to those options, no?” He told her teasingly, and playfully as he wrapped his hand around hers when she took his. Giving her hand a gentle squeeze, he led the way towards the private bar and just released her hand to place his own on the small of her back to steer her towards the place and let her go through first.
“We won’t be needing your services, and please do make sure that no one gets inside.” Samael said to the barkeep as he got some credit chips from his suit jacket’s pocket and handed it to the man. Finally walking towards the bar, as Samael has promised, he would be keeping the drinks afloat if Stefanie so wishes it but also that way he would be facing her as she sat down on the barstool there.
“I hope this is okay for you, or did you prefer for us to take a seat there by the booth?” He asked her genuinely, and only after she had indicated what she was more agreeable to, Samael only said his following phrase. “I did mean it earlier, Stefanie, I did have all the time in the world to listen to you, and I also believe that someone like yourself deserves to have attentive ears that may not be as close to you as your friends out there are. I have no wish to make you uncomfortable, of course not, but just so you know, I am here because I want to be and because you really looked like you were in need of someone who will listen without passing any judgments at all.”

Once they were in the private bar, and Samael had dismissed the bartender while giving the man some credits for his trouble, Stefanie sat upon on of the bar stools placing her drink in front of her as she did so.
"This is fine for now, Samael....thank you." She smiled in answer to him when he asked if it was okay that they sit at the bar or would she prefer a booth.
She remained silent while he looked at her and explained that he did mean it when he said he'd listen to her, without judgement, and that he believed she needed someone whom she wasn't as close to, as she was with Kassidy or Lindsay, to talk to. She knew he had no wish to make her uncomfortable even before he assured her of that fact, and truthfully, she had never felt that way with him even in the short amount of time they had known each other. He was just easy to get along with, from her previous interactions with him anyway. Taking a sip of her drink, she gazed at him for a moment with a slight grin.
"You may be right about that, Samael. So....where do we begin? What would you like to know first?"
She knew she was opening herself up for questions that she may not want to answer but if she had learned one thing from her training with some of the Jedi on Honoghr, it was that sometimes you had to face a problem before you could conquer it. If she wasn't quite ready to answer whatever questions he asked, well then she was sure she could talk her way around it - she was a lawyer after all, and had plenty of experience at BSing her way through certain subjects.

Since Stefanie had told him that where they were right now was perfectly fine for her, it allowed for Samael to lean over the bar while facing her. His drink in hand, and he sipped it from time to time while he continued to hold her gaze in an unobtrusive way. Already, he just knew that perhaps like he had said, he wouldn't be the best candidate for that talk, but he was going to let her steer the conversation however she wanted and for how long what she wanted.
Though her statement when she relented to actually have this conversation with him, it made him smile inwardly. He knew that it was going to actually be difficult to make her talk fully without any omissions, but then again, she was a lawyer and it was also customary for her, at least on depending on the occasion, to not reply fully. Samael didn't know Stefanie Strange that much, at least on a personal and intimate level, but what he knew about her was already enough, it was already intriguing him, her personality and just her overall comportment, if that made sense. Not that he would ever say it out loud right now, but it was there in the corner of his mind. Now that he was standing here facing the delectable lawyer, his gaze was still trained on her.
"What you are willing to share is what I wish to know, Stefanie..." Samael replied to her with a faint grin as he slightly leaned forward, his forearms on the bar and he was still looking at her. "But if you'd prefer I steer the conversation in order for us to just talk casually and not have this turn out into a somewhat cross-examination, like you are used to in the court of law, then perhaps I should tell you here and now that it is your prerogative to either not reply to the question, or to actually reply. Just let me know though if you are not comfortable in talking about certain matters, okay?" Smiling once more, Samael then took a sip of his drink and placed his glass down on the counter. He exactly knew where to start and that obviously was going to be what had happened between Stefanie, and her ex who looked like Nancy...
"You and the person you were involved with, the dancer who looks like her, what happened between you two?" Keeping the question as general as ever, so that at least Stefanie could reply to that however she deemed fit, Samael also knew that perhaps he would have to ask her more targeted questions to understand her better...

Well this was as good a place as any to lay low for a bit. Chloe was mostly sure that she hadn't made anyone in the Empire that mad after that crazy train heist. Yes she had robbed some people, but not much and only from those wealthy enough to not really notice. Either way, spending some time out of the way was probably her best bet. A medical center would do nicely. Good place to work, meet people, and possibly find her next mark. She was able to get a job prety easily as a bar tender, and was just starting her first shift. She is wearing a fancy purple top, enough to make guys want to talk to her, but not enough to make her seem trashy to the female patrons. Tight leather trousers and matching boots complete the outfit. She puts good and peaceful thoughts into the area around her with the Force. She is already making drinks for people and attracting attention

Lindsay finished as she popped a chip into her mouth and chewed thoughtfully before swallowing.
Even you three can't deny they were hot." She stated in a matter-of-fact tone."Especially Thunder Dazzle..." Nikky piped up with a teasing smirk which caused Kassidy to burst with laughter at the slight blush that was beginning to creep up Lindsay's face."Well he IS pretty fluid and flexible in his dancing....""I'm sure that's not all he's 'fluid and flexible' at, Linds." Kassidy winked with a grin as she gazed around to the other occupants of the table, while lifting her glass to her lips. He studied Kassidy, the woman holding something of an allure to him, as she spoke. He could tell from hers and Lindsay's responses, that there was more to the story. Had they not been here to celebrate, he might have pressed the point. But he figured he could find out what Lieke over heard later. For now, he reclined back into his seat as a waitress brought over a Corellian Whiskey on the rocks for him. He took a sip of it, as he kept his focus on the three ladies still seated with him. It was good to hear them able to banter with one another despite the slight drop in the mood=Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren=She isn't the only one in good hands... In fact Lindsay, you could be in Thunder Dazzle's hands all night if you like... He gave Linds a quick wink, before turning back to Kase as the Heartthrobs began their next number. A devilish smirk crossed his lips as he studied her, taking another sip of his whiskey, before leaning towards her=Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren=Though, I wouldn't mind getting your counsel on some Payne I've been experiencing recently... She is already making drinks for people and attracting attention Meanwhile, Telandra and Brent took a seat at the bar, not far away from the new female bar tender. The pair were clad in their signature gear, having gained special permission from the Bubble and Squeaks security team. Though, the only real thing that had required any clearance, was Brant's bow and arrows, since Telandra didn't actually require a physical weapon. Telandra sat facing away from the bar, scanning the room for any potentially dangerous patrons. Brent meanwhile, hailed the female bar tender as he glanced sidewards at Telandra=Brent "Hawk-Eye" Dalton=You know, if you look for trouble, you will find it... =Telandra Starshadow=I'm just being cautious... =Brent "Hawk-Eye" Dalton=Doesn't your magic help you sense danger before it happens? Just relax... =Telandra Starshadow=Well, if Wilhelm is in trouble and you are too drunk to help him, I'll be sure to let him know you said that... =Brent "Hawk-Eye" Dalton=Sweetheart, even if I was blind drunk, I could still hit a bullseye. You can't even hit one sober... Telandra gave him an indignant huff in return, as he turned back to face the bar, waiting for the Bar Tender to come over

Well I can't really help with the aiming part of that plan, but the drunk part I have you covered. I am Chloe the new night life consultant. How are you handsome? The flirting was more than just sords and body language, she pushed the feelings of comfort, joy, and a traction to the man.

Brent looked Chloe over as she introduced herself, taking in the woman properly. She was quite a looker, and she knew how to use her charms. Even now, he could sense her trying to sway him a little. Although he couldn't use the force, he had been trained to tell when it was affecting him. Not that he overly minded. It just made him feel a little more wanted by her, since you didn't try and influence someone, if you weren't worried about losing them =Brent "Hawk-Eye" Dalton= Well, I could certainly use some night life consulting... sound's interesting. The name's Brent, And I wouldn't mind a Tarisian Ale... Telandra rolled her eyes at Brent. He was such a flirt with woman sometimes, it drove her crazy. They were here to keep Wilhelm safe, not pick up new conquests. Brent smirked at her, before turning back to Chloe =Brent "Hawk-Eye" Dalton= And a Honey Wine for my friend... Actually, better make it something non alcoholic... Not sure she's even old enough to drink...

Of course sugar. She winks at the bodyguard and gets drinks. She delivered the man's, letting her fingers graze his a little longer than needed. She then took a honey wine to the woman and a glass of water. She leaned and whispered so the man couldn't hear her. What are the chances i get him to tip me his next paycheck?

Bubble & Squeak - Main Bar
Lindsay's eyes widened and a blush crept up her face when Wilhelm suggested that Thunder Dazzle could be hers for the night. Kassidy and Nikky both had to stifle giggles at her reaction while Lindsay composed herself enough to reply with a small grin.
"As much as I enjoy watching Thunder Dazzle, I do not want to deprive anyone else of his 'attentions', so I must decline that offer, Wil, but thank you for the thought."
This elicited more giggles from Kassidy and Nikky until Wil turned back to Kassidy with a devilish smirk.
Kassidy arched an eyebrow at the obvious pick up line as she set her drink down on the table and met Wil's gaze with amusement. "Tell me, Doctor....does that line actually work on anyone who isn't one of your dim witted bimbos?"

Private Bar - Stefanie & Samael
Stefanie contemplated his comments for a moment, until he asked what had happened between her and her ex. Looking away from him for a few seconds, she caught her lower lip between her teeth while she gathered her thoughts on that subject. Meeting his gaze once more, she spoke. "Crystal Kayne. Her name was...is...Crystal Kayne. Nancy reminded me of her because she looks almost exactly like Crystal, except maybe a little younger."
She paused as she took a sip from her glass then set it back down on the bar before folding her hands around it. "I met Crystal when we were both fifteen on New Alderaan. A couple of years later we realized we loved each other and started dating. She was everything to me and I to her also. Friends, lovers, confidants - just....everything. We were together for seven years before....before it ended."
The emotion was briefly apparent in her voice before she sighed and took another drink. Even though he was so easy to talk to, so understanding and non judgmental, she just wasn't ready to tell anyone, let alone Samael, why it ended. She couldn't tell him that she was the one who ended it with just a note. Maybe one day she'd be able to tell him, and the others, the real reasons why she left Crystal - but now was not that time. Instead, she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind as she tilted her head a little to the side and casually studied him.
"Do I get to ask you questions too, Doc? Who is Dr. Samael Canaan? Likes, dislikes? What makes you tick, I wonder?" There was a slight hint of teasing in her pale hazel eyes that had replaced the seriousness, and perhaps even a little sadness, from before when she had spoken about Crystal.

Bubble and Squeak Cantina — Main Bar
Maze, with her everly unimpressed expression, just waited for a moment there but no reply, and as such she grew bored and just pushed away from the bar to head towards where Samael and Stefanie had gone off to, only to be faced with the bartender of the private bar right there who was telling her that she couldn’t come this way.
Lifting her hand and looking at the man to stop him from wasting more words on her, she just said. “I know. Go do what you are actually paid to do, while I keep an eye here.” Maze told him, her tone and unimpressed look seemed to be enough to convince the bartender and head towards behind the main bar while Maze stood sentry duty in front of the private bar.
In the meantime, two agents stepped into Bubble and Squeak scanning the area. Skye Johnson and Kyle Sparks were also both security agents under Wilhelm van Buuren’s and Samael Canaan’s payroll just like Telandra and Brent, and they were both here to relieve Brent and Tel from duty.
Much like Sparks and Tel, Skye was attuned to the Force, and she made a straight beeline for the bar with Sparks, clearly heading straight for Tel who was speaking to the bartender, or the bartender was speak with Telandra. “Already drinking on the job?” She asked Tel and Hawk-Eye with amused smirk noticing their glasses there before inclining her head once. “Where is Samael?” She could feel that he was nearby but nowhere in sight, much like his personal assistant, or actually his confidant. Whatever was their relationship, not that she was paid to question that, at all.
Leaning against the bar, next to Brent, Kyle had his arms crossed looking at Brent with a knowing and amused expression as he looked at the Archer’s glass… “Shouldn’t you be keeping your eyes on the assets?”
Bubble and Squeak Cantina — Private Bar
Samael listened to what Stefanie was telling him, or what she had been willing to share with him with attentive ears. He was even looking straight at her, his attention was undivided and he could see, and at least feel how it seemed difficult for her to talk about, whom Samael has come to know, Crystal Kayne, Stefanie’s ex-girlfriend, Stefanie’s everything for seven years. He could also tell that she was purposely omitting something, not that he would press the issue, for he did say that it was whatever she was willing to share with him.
“There is more to that story, huh? On how it ended?” Samael rhetorically asked before tilting his head slightly on the side and blinked once just to let her know that she didn’t need to explain further actually and that he was dropping that matter right then and there considering that he could very well tell how this topic was really a sensitive conversation, and it wasn’t one he could just charge head on to get all the details. But there really was something that had caught his attention, and it was her tattoo on her wrist, with the way she had been holding her glass, and now that he was also closer, he could finally see her tattoo there. “I can tell, and see that she really meant a lot to you…” Tempting fate, at least this time, Samael gently traced her inner left wrist with his index gently. “Your initial and hers, yes?” He smiled warmly before pulling his hand back and taking a sip of his scotch, a while ago, if he didn’t know her as much as he did now, he would have joked about that, for after all, SC were also Samael’s initials, but tonight, it wasn’t even a joke that passed through his mind, instead he looked back at her with a warm and friendly smile.
Chuckling briefly when she turned the tables on him, Samael tilted his head slightly on the side and grinned. “So, this is indeed going to be a somewhat cross-examination, isn’t it?” He asked teasingly, she was an attorney at law, and it wasn’t surprising at all, but he knew that it was only fair, which was why he nodded with a sincere look and smile. “Yes, you do get to ask questions too, Counselor, after all it is only fair, right?” Taking another sip of his drink, Samael put his glass down on the counter and kept leaning on the bar until he slightly pushed away and stood upright.
“Who am I? You already have the tip of the iceberg there, since obviously you know that I am a doctor.” Grinning at the obvious statement, Samael didn’t have any apprehension on sharing, but then again, he wouldn’t share everything anyways, not his whole biography. It wasn’t him, and he didn’t want any pity from anyone. “Epicanthix, here and I find it gratifying on helping people, as for my likes and dislikes, I do like having meaningful conversations, and particularly right now when it’s in the company of an interesting and beautiful woman.” Perhaps he was flirting, perhaps he wasn’t, but obviously he was stating just a fact and the obvious and he didn’t shy away from telling the truth. “As for dislikes, one of those dislikes is people beating up others in order to get what they want, and I just dislike injustice overall, so if there is something I can do, to correct a wrong with a right, I will do it, or at least try to do it, whether it gets me into trouble or not, well if it does, I certainly know who I could comm to take on my defense.” He jokingly said before chuckling once more and picking up a bottle of scotch to refill his glass and looking around finding the whiskey.
“Would you like some more, Stefanie?” Samael dubiously asked with an arched eyebrow, “Don’t worry, I am not trying to get you drunk at all, and if that does happen, I do promise to get you home safely, but that being said, if you do wish to ask me more questions, please feel free, okay?” Samael was really starting to appreciate more and more her company, not only she had shown him a little bit more about herself, he just knew that he wanted to see more of her, to get to know her more, and at least appease her one way or the other. He could also tell that she didn’t seem to be over her relationship with Crystal Kayne, he also knew that there was a lot more to the story but again, he wasn’t going to push for more details, it was whatever and whenever she was willing to share, and that was fine by him…

"Tell me, Doctor....does that line actually work on anyone who isn't one of your dim witted bimbos?" Wilhelm smirked at Lindsay's reply, quite certain he would have to ask Thunder Dazzle to look a little disappointed for her. But his attention was already well on the lovely lady that was Kassidy Payne. He had felt himself ever so slightly drawn to her since first he and Samael had met the ladies of PMS, to discuss opening Lust. In fact, he quite enjoyed her company more than any other woman's he had ever spent time with - and he had spent time with plenty of women=Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren=You're the first person I've ever used it on, so you tell me... is it working? Of course sugar. She winks at the bodyguard and gets drinks. She delivered the man's, letting her fingers graze his a little longer than needed. She then took a honey wine to the woman and a glass of water. She leaned and whispered so the man couldn't hear her. What are the chances i get him to tip me his next paycheck? Brent gave the bar tender a wink as she handed him his drink, Telandra meanwhile scoffed at the woman's question. She leaned back to whisper in replyRather minimal. That man loves his money, more than he could ever love your services... Unless I have the wrong idea about what you meant?Bubble and Squeak Cantina — Main Bar

Leaning against the bar, next to Brent, Kyle had his arms crossed looking at Brent with a knowing and amused expression as he looked at the Archer’s glass… “Shouldn’t you be keeping your eyes on the assets?” Brent was taking a sip from his drink when Skye and Sparks arrived a few moments later, with the former asking where Samael was. He knew her first comment was merely a jest, and he turned his head slightly to look down the bar to where he had last seen their slightly less eccentric boss. Telandra scoffed at him then, and pointed towards the private barHe's out the back with one of the lawyers. Maze is standing sentry...Brent just smiled before turning his attention back to SkyeI work with a bunch of people who toss things around with their minds, whilst I just have a bow and arrow... of course I'm going to drink, it's the only way it half way makes sense. With that he turned around, glass still in hand as he scanned the booth where Wilhelm and the other women were all seated, his eyes scanning the group, making sure they were all thereMy eyes are always on the assets, just different ones from time to time...As soon as Kyle was certain Brent's gaze had settled upon Lindsay, the electric master himself sent a jolt of electricity into Brent's side. He jumped slightly at the shock, before shaking his head. He had never really taken much time to look at any of the lawyers. But in that moment, something about the way she looked had him hooked. Maybe it was a mixture of the alcohol and Kyle's little jolt, but he found himself intriguedCareful there Sparks. You could hurt someone... At any rate, the watch is all yours. I have a new target... Catch you later Telandra. Also, be a dear and drop this stuff back at my apartment...He gave a wink to Telandra, tossing his bow and quiver to her as she just shook her head, before commenting to SkyePerhaps he has found someone who means more to him than money. Imagine that...Brent was well out of ear shot of the bar by then and stopped at the edge of the booth, giving a nod to Wilhelm, before turning his attention to LindsayWell, my shift is over for the night. I figured I'd say good bye, and say it's been a real pleasure keeping an eye on you fine ladies this evening. Some more fine than others...With that, he gave a wink to Lindsay

The bartender walks up too Kyle and Skye. She gauges the situation, not knowing she is using the Force. Hello there you two? Nice to meet you. I am Chloe, the new bartender, what can I get you? To Kyle she pushes flirty feelings and senses in the Force, to Skye, more sisterly feelings.

Skye had felt that discharge from Sparks in Brent's direction, which got her to look amused at the two men right there before shaking her head and focusing her attention back onto Telandra. "Might be the jolt there from Sparks that made him clearly open his eyes," Smirking slightly and watching to where Brent was headed, Skye shook her head. "Maybe he'll know how to say thanks next time, instead of chiding Kyle, and considering you as his gears' baby sitter..." She commented to Telandra before turning her attention towards the bartender who had just addressed her and asking if she wanted a drink. "Hi, a water on the rocks would be good. Thanks." Skye is quite aware that the bartender is trying to push some emotions, not only to her but also to Kyle, which had gotten her to look at the electric master with an arched eyebrow.
While completely unfazed by Brent telling him off, Kyle still looked at the master archer with a raised eyebrow. "That was weak..." Chuckling slightly and looking at Telandra seeing that she had been the one Brent had handed his gears to, Kyle sighed briefly. "You should attach that to the highest point in Nystao, Telandra, and just tell him to go get it himself." Grinning at the thought, for that was something he would do actually if Hawk-Eye laundered his gears to him, Kyle didn't linger on that subject and only said it in jest before turning to look at the bartender, Chloe, who was trying to be flirty with him, so it would seem. "Just a plasmaberry juice, please, with ice also." Kyle requested before sitting down on the barstool before glancing to where Samael and Maze were. He was still wondering why to be perfectly honest they were needed when Mazikeen was around Samael, protecting him, but that question was above his paygrade and didn't linger on that fact. Looking back at Chloe with a thoughtful look, Kyle asked. "New bartender? I wonder what brought you here..." He actually meant nothing by it, truth be told, since she had been the one who had engaged them in a way in a conversation. So why not talk, right?
